Ocean Maya Royale: Nice Resort

The hotel was really nice and the room was amazing! The people at the hotel were so nice, helpful and respectful. The grounds are well maintained and at night all the lights were so beautiful and bright!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing Staff

The food is good. The staff is amazing. The rooms are very clean but we were unable to sleep. Our room was right next to the street. The house keeping knock's on your door even if you have a do not disturb sign on it. The beach was terrible and the location was challenging. Since we were not close to the beach, shuttling around all the time got old fast. If your the type that hangs around the pool and a deep sleeper, this hotel will be fine. The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Wonderful resort

The resort was exceptional in terms of the food and service. The grounds were pretty with lush vegetation, nice pools, beach..even monkeys on the resort. The facilities included a gym which was small but new with good equipment. The ambiance of the resort was appreciated from the exceptional gourmet, staff, grounds, and pool/beach. Great for a small personal resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: nice resort

The resort was very nice...everything there you would want or need...the only complaint was the bad odors in certain places as you are walking around the grounds....smelled like sewer......sea weed was a terrible problem for them this year ..so we were told......the pools are beautiful..we as older clients would like to have heard some oldie music and dancing in the evenings.....need more mixture of music and a little more lively in the evenings in the lounge ........don't need to take beach tow [... read more]els,shampoo,body wash,hair blower,.......there are stores on the resort if you did forget anything.......went down town on a shuttle bus for $6.00 each way... picks you up in the front lobby....last one to return to resort is at 6pm or you can get a taxi for $30.00 ..we found the prices much better in the store to the left as you come out of the jewelery store where they drop you off at the back of the store...but there is a Wal Mart down the street on 10th ave. At the very end to the right....I was a little nervous to go but really no need to be.... I will definitely go back again.....great vacation.....week wasn't long enough ....we were in building 6 ,room 6322,I think it was the newer section..... King size bed,very comfortable....room was beautiful...the quiet pool is near there but the beach and larger pool is quite a walk or you can be picked up with the trolleys .

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Vacation... Would Definitely Return!

Overall it was a great vacation. Our travel agent Tracy Duffin recommended this resort to us and we are very happy she did. The grounds were beautiful and kept very clean. Our butler Andres was wonderful, he was very knowledgeable abut the hotel an surrounding areas. The beach was very nice, the unfortunate thing was there was quite a lot of seaweed washing up on shore, The hotel, although they worked very hard, could not keep up with the cleanup. Top notch resort! Breathtaking views, well-maintained grounds, impeccable service all around, extremely friendly staff, lots of activities and amazing gourmet meals. All in all, our stay at Azul Fives was Excelente!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great time in the sunshine

Hotel and grounds were very nice. The food was great except the Italian restaurant. the entertainment was amazing, probably my favourite part. The beach was nice, except for the seaweed. The pools looked very nice but never went in them. The drinks were awesome and the wait staff was too.

Just back from a great stay in a 1 bedroom suite at the Azul Fives. Went with husband and 3 yr. old. Our room with full living room with sectional sofa, separate half bath, dining room and kitchen was more than big enough. All requests beforehand were met (crib and stroller). More than enough activities for the kids and beach butler service to help with finding shaded beach chairs/beds was especially helpful. Pools were clean and water in the "lazy river" winding pool along resort villas/rooms w [... read more]as bathtub warm with graduated entrances for little ones. Food and selection at all restaurants we tried was very good. Hotel really catered to kids which was very much appreciated. Wait staff were overall very good.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: great family resort

We just got back from a week at this resort and would go back in a heartbeat. We went with two young kids and my only complaint would have been how far our room was from everything....but we could have requested a closer room. The resort had great entertainment for kids, always had kid friendly food available and lots of stuff to do with them. when you arrive look out for the "time share" promoters that want you to meet the following day. ... for us it was a waste of time! JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Beautiful

What a lovely resort. 5 star all the way....the decor, the pool, the food. The staff were the friendliest and best trained I have come across. The beach was magnificent and the water warm. Our room was beautiful,we fell asleep each night to the sound of the waves.

Catalonia Yucatan: Wonderful Vacation Spot

The rooms exceeded expectations. The staff were friendly, welcoming & accomodating. The resort was immaculate, excellent food & restaurants. The Beach BBQ organized for the Air Transit/NoliTours guests was a great last evening. It was great to be able to take a walk out of the resort to the neighbouring marina, shop, have a drink or meal and watch the dolphins. While it was great to not line up to make your restaurant reservations through the day, we were a party of 8 so it made for long waits  [... read more]for the a la carte restaurants some nights without reservations. But the buffets provided something for everybody so we never missed a meal. Lobster is not on the menu, but just ask for it for additional cost and you will be happy that you did.

Simply fantastic. Service, food, ambience, pool and beach are all top notch. The kids club is very nice and best of all, very clean and well maintained. The weather was great and the folks at the resort were extremely helpful with any requests.

This resort is very beautiful , and the staff are so friendly. They are always offering to help or get you whatever you need. The 1 bedroom suites are enormous !! Pools were clean and warm. The down side was the lack of food services near the beach, nothing open until lunch..... Not even coffee.

Riu Palace Mexico: Great beach, service, and food!

We loved the riu palace mexico. The room was modern, clean, and more then enough room. The shower was amazing, two shower options and a spa bath tub - never ran out of hot water. The serive is great, as we find at all riu palace resorts we have been. Food was great, no complaints. We love seafood, steak, eggs, cheese, fresh veg and fruit - so it was all good. Grand Sunset Princess: Magnificent Mexico

The grounds were amazing! Our room was beautiful. Most of the staff were great. The beach was okay. The food was good with the exception of the seafood restaurant. We weren't impressed with that restaurant at all. Great resort!

We just returned from an eleven day stay at the BlueBay Grand Esmerelda and are pleased to report that the staff at this resort are amazing. Each and every one constantly wore a smile and went out of their way to help us. A special thank you to Augustin who works at the beach restaurant. We actually ate at each of these twice. (No restrictions on how many times you can eat at the a la cartes) Many people seem to complain about the beach but we didn't have any problem with it. Yes there is seaweed but it is frequently raked up (early in the morning and then constantly through the day). There is some of the "towel tag" where people are staking out prime spots early but we never had an issue finding a decent spot. There were two things with the pool that we found a bit disappointing. No swim up bar and no real deep end. The entire pool is only 3 feet deep. (other than one small wading pool area for kiddies). But, as with the beach, it was never too hard to find a good spot to relax. Night life was quite typical of the all inclusives in the Mayan Riviera, but we were there more for the beach and the pool relaxation side of things. All in all a very enjoyable place to spend a week or so.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: A great Getaway

The room was very clean and well taken care of. There were many animals to see and the large resort had some Mayan ruins around the resort. The The pools were amazing and kept clean at all times. The staff were very friendly and looked after our every need. We enjoyed the entertainment although we did not go every night, but when we did it was entertaining and enjoyable. We had a great holiday

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Good value for money

Nice clean rooms. Great staff overal, but the front desk staff seemed a little shady. I was offered an room upgrade for cash and they asked me how much I'd be willing to pay. The food was pretty good. A little isolated as this is a new resort and not much development next to it.

The food wasn't the greatest, had to be up at 600 am at least to try and find a chair with an umbrella by the pool and don't even bother by the beach. They have a severe seaweed problem, constant front end loader and bobcat work to try and clean it up just see it the next day just as bad! The grounds need a lot of work and and even more rework on the pool area falling apart and very dangerous witnessed a severe head injury there. Staff is amazing and so friendly. I tried every single one of the 8 restaurants and always received great service and delicious food! Already recommended to friends who have booked a trip for next week.
