Isla Natura Beach: Ok resort

The rooms were mice and clean, the food was very good, Alon and Omar were awesome employees, The down fall was you couldn’t swim at the 2beaches because it was way to ruff of water, And there was ZERO entertainment, at 11:00pm everything was closed, ZERO entertainment! For very quiet holiday for elderly people!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Absolutely amazing!!

I had the most amazing time. The resort was beautiful and well kept, and the staff were amazing. Especially the Animation/Entertainment Team. They made you feel welcome and at home. 10/10 would definitely go back again.

Oh Cancun On The Beach: shortcomings

hotel checkin/checkout staff were rude. almost like you had to pay them in order for them to answer questions. wristband for oasis lite- does not get you drinks at the lobby nightclub (kinky) pay extra..to get water refilled in your room-pay extra. bathroom-no shower curtain, so water was all over the floor everytime

very well kept. looks like it has had many upgrades, food and service were A1. The only down fall is this CIRCLE ONE company that wastes a morning of yours trying to get you to buy into their travel company. If you can avoid that ,its better

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Clean, friendly and very attentive staff

We went for our honeymoon and booked the superior penthouse jacuzzi suite. It was incredible! The stars at night were amazing! Great hotel, we would 100% sray here again! Great place for rest and relaxation!

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Wonderful staff!

The Laguna style pool was incredible at this resort- by far my favourite pool at any resort. The food was delicious, there were always attentive staff who even upgraded us to an oceanfront room on our last overnight. Such a lovely experience and wonderful resort.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Trip Central is the way to go!

Our family of 5 (kids age 9, 7, 6) went to Ocean Riviera Paradise for a week. Family perks: The proximity of the pool to the ocean made for all day waterfront fun. It was easy for kids to run back and forth and have different water experiences. There is a fresh fruit non-alcohol drink bar with swings by the pool--a big plus for kids who have been playing in the sun. Also, a kid-friendly, open air lunch restaurant is also by the beach. Good for all day fun. Water slides were fun but slow mo [... read more]ving due to a small bit of water going down them. Lots of lifeguards. We only used the 'kids drop-off' program for one morning. The kids did origami, made sushi and enjoyed a water balloon game in the pool. There is a small park my kids loved playing at in the evenings when it was a bit cooler. Food was incredible. We saw monkeys, turtles and coati on the resort. It is a huge resort, so bring bags to transport sand toys, goggles, pool toys. There is a large golf cart that runs up and down the 'strip' if you don't want to walk. Booking with Trip Central was super easy. I appreciated that everything was EASY. Highly recommend the location and Trip Central.

Royal Solaris: Members vs Non-members

The place was fine except for the way we were treated as non-members. There was a large push to make members feel extra special. What they didn't seem to realize is, that it made the rest of us feel ignored. There were big special breakfasts with trays of danishes and croissants and champagne for the members, but the same ol daily banana bread for the rest of us. Special towels, reserved front row beach/pool seating, and extra table service care for members. Non-members however, had a hard time  [... read more]finding lounge chairs together. Table servers were focusing all attention on the members in hopes of getting bigger tips. So we often couldn't get our plates cleared, or a coffee at the end of our meal. There were a few really good servers and bar staff who were the exception to this and treated us great, but it was inconsistent. The place and people are great, would recommend them any time. The place was clean, lots of food, Staff went out of there way to help, If any thing I wish I have learned some Spanish, that was my problem, but we all got around it. Great time.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Fabulous resort and wonderful vacation

We just returned home last week Nov 7th, after a much too short vacation. The upside is that it was a wonderful place to stay - it truly is a “hidden gem”. We are definitely returning when they can accommodate us for at least 2 to 3 weeks. We did yoga every morning with Hiram, who is a master in his craft, and tried to pack in as much as we could in only 7 days. We had a wonderful room! Our housekeeper was wonderful; everything was completed in our room first thing in the morning by the time we returned from our yoga and breakfast, usually around 9:30. The food was terrific; we had no problems getting seated in any of the a-la-carte restaurants as they did not take reservations. The buffet also had great selections and variety for both breakfast and lunch. People can make a big deal about seaweed on the beach - we had some the first couple of days we were there but the hotel staff was right on top of cleaning it up as fast and efficiently as they could. This is not a factor in choosing this hotel - seaweed is caused by environment and weather. We would like to recognize Hiram and Rene in the yoga pavilion as well as German on the paddle boards who trusted that I could do it successfully.

El Dorado Royale: Wonderful service, shame about the beach

El Dorado Royale is a wonderful resort if you want attention to detail, efficient and friendly staff, carefully tended grounds, artfully presented and tasty food and well appointed, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. However, the beach was greatly disappointing. The ocean beach floor was primarily rough, hard coral and the waves and seaweed made it very difficult to participate in water sports. I was told that my room looked over a building and trees but for an additional cost, I could get an ocean view room. I declined, and when I checked into my room, I was delighted to see my room faced the ocean. It was a glorious view. Also be aware of the time share seminar that you will be invited to attend.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Beach water clear : no seaweed , Excellent hotel , Attentive pleasant Mayan Mexican staff

First time to this resort , after viewing a recent youtube.com video showing beach clear of sea weed , in Sep 2018 , as of 31 oct 2018 when we arrive, the beach is fantastic , water limpid clear, if there are any little seaweeds , the hotel staffs have clearing mechanical equipment to keep the beach impeccable 24/7 ,...excellent Buffet and great Restaurants , great show, ..there is a shopping center in the complex , ..excellent Mayan Mexican staff, pleasant , honest , peaceful , easy mannered al [... read more]l through the resort..great for family as well as singles..will definitely return , and will recommend to our friends...

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: wonderful trip,amazing resort.

Nice public area, service very good everywhere, the staff is very nice & helpful, the golf course is tough but maintain very well, the most restaurant food is good but will not recommend Haiku (Japanese cuisine) although the service and chief performance is very good, I think the menu and the food is not real Japanese cuisine, and the Sashimi and sake is not perfect match with this 5 star hotel reputation.Overall,I like this resort,and will highly recommend my friends come and stay.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: PARADISE IN CANCUN!

This was our second time at a Secrets resort and it was amazing! We were here for a Family wedding and it was lovely on the beach. The grounds are beautiful, clean and well kept. The food was good with a nice variety to choose from and the Margaritas were number one! By far the staff at this resort really make it awesome. Friendly and they make it so much fun! Shout outs to Sexy Ross and Sexy Manny in entertainment. Wilberth, Antonio and Pino at the pool bar. HOLA!!!!

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Wonderful resort

This was our first time at Ocean Coral Turquesa Mayan Riviera and it will not be the last. The resort was amazing. It met our expectations in every way from excellent service, good food and high standards of cleanliness.As well we felt safe and secure at this property. The entertainment team provided activities daily for our enjoyment. The bike ride into Puerto Morelos was a highlight .Thankyou to West Jet vacations and Trip Central for well organized vacation.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: First Class

This is my forth visit to the Valentin and will be going back in January. The service is amazing and the food is was beyond expectations. Can't say enough about the resort... Grounds were very clean morning and night. We never had to wait long for a ride to the lobby. Particularly like the night life. Just lots to wander around and look at, different entertainment every night.

Grand Riviera Princess: THE GRAND RIVIERA PRINCESS IS A FABULOUS RESORT, THIRD TIME THERE!

The Grand Riviera Princess was amazing! The meals, drinks, rooms, pool, beach and staff were wonderful! This is our second time there and we will be going back again! November is a great time to go, no mosquitoes, and no hot stifling humid weather! Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Awesome Wild Life

For being my first vacation i went in with no expectations... however i did not like paying extra for perks that i did not receive. Jeshua, Mauricio & Claudia in building 20 were amazing. I decided to fly with Air Transat which was a mistake because the perks they listed you get with this hotel you do not get..i ended up paying extra money for stuff i never received, The Xcaret park was awesome however i got the unlimited park pass which was suppose to include a meal and a beer in the park, it d [... read more]id not and the park wanted me to pay $30USD. The hot water would turn brown as well. ************************************************************************************************** OCCIDENTAL AT Xcaret this is my first vacation..its not too bad but when we got here no one recognized the perks. We didn't get bath robs & slippers till the third day in, we never got the mayan welcome or a private check in, never got the welcome gift & when we went to the xcaret park they said we still had to pay for the buffet when we had the ultimate package.. we showed them the papers of what we were suppose to get but all they did was just try selling us time shares...they said i had to buy wifi that i didn't get an hour free.. other than all that i guess for my first vacation isn't that bad..but i'm kind of upset because i paid so much for this stuff that i never got. Basically all the perks we were suppose to have we didn't get. **************************************************************************************************

Breathless Riviera Cancun: A nice place if you like to party

The good: Modern hotel, nice rooms, many restaurants to choose from and the food is pretty good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bad: The beach is terrible. Nobody swims in the ocean at this resort. The water is filled with sea weeds and the water is an awful brown color. You can't stroll along the ocean front much beyond the hotel because the coastline is filled with rotting seaweed and rocks. The music played at this resort is very annoying after a while. It's a const [... read more]ant droning of drumbeat mixes with no vocals. It's everywhere you go, from the gym to the poolside. In the Xcelerate section of the hotel, the music is so loud that it's unpleasant to sit in the beach chairs alongside the pool. I was a DJ for many years and I can tell you that the volume level exceeded what would be normal in this situation. Your ears should not hurt after sitting by the pool for an hour. The disco bar is no different, the music is excessively loud (bring a DB meter and you'll see what I mean) but that's more to be expected than at the poolside. If you are the type that spends all day with a drink in your hand in the pool, you'll fit right in with this crowd. Lots of people having a good time, yelling and cheering in the fine dining restaurants, celebrating birthdays or pre-wedding parties. You are also pretty isolated at this hotel, other than one other hotel next door, there is nothing for many miles. You have to drive for 20 minutes before you encounter civilization.
