Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: It is a beutiful and confotable resort.

My experience in this resort was amazing. Everything was good and the service people was very frendly and food excelent. Tkanks you very much. The shows in the thether need to be improved a few more in order every body feel more happy and nicer. This is importan in order people do not feel boring at night.

Paradisus Cancun: Beautiful Paradise

It was a perfect choice to stay in Paradisus Cancun. We got an excellent service, all the staff members were kind and helpful. The environment was clean and the food at all restaurants was amazing. We had a wonderful time at the beach and would definitely recommend this place.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Not likely returning

This is our 3rd time returning and the resort is not what it used to be. The breakfast buffet was not re-stocked of salmon other items etc. In the past they had a lot of food and when we followed up with staff daily-they just said "no" we don't have any. No extra effort made by staff and don't expect to be treated better if you are returning guests. Myself and travel agent advised that we were returning guests yet we were excluded from the returning guests welcome event and we also told th [... read more]e hotel manager upon arrival and he didn't acknowledge this/us. He just said someone will take care of you -and that was it. Additionally, we emailed to see if we could pre-book a la carte restaurants as we had done in previous years-and no response from the hotel period. Yet, some other returning guests emailed and were able to pre-book a la cartes-so it seems very inconsistent the service received. The shuttle service from Akumel to Siaan Kaan was always a 20 min wait and there is only 1 ladies bathroom at the infinity pool (sink was broken the entire week we were there and despite advising hotel staff and other ppl advising of same-it was not fixed). This forced you to go to the restaurant which you would have to be fully dressed to use the restroom. The bar here ran out of things (bar, mix, bananas even when it just opened) and the service by bartenders is definitely not a 5*-however, the Siaan Kaan beach was well managed and great service there.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A Mayan gem!

We've returned again after staying here in February 2017 and December 2017, we couldn’t stay away.... After going to about 20 different all inclusive resorts in Mexico, Cuba, Dominican and Jamaica over the past 12 years we've found one that we want to keep returning to. We always thought we'd want to try new places, but Sian Ka'an has it all. I'll do my best to cover all aspects of the resort and would be happy to answer any questions. Quick overview : We visited Sian Ka’an early [... read more] November as a couple for the third time in two years. Don’t be sceptical about the resort not being on the beach and having to take trolleys, as neither of those things are a concern. The beach that is dedicated to Sian Ka'an is AMAZING and the shuttle service is prompt and efficient at all hours of the day. Sian Ka'an is an adults only resort that is situated across the street from the beach and part of a complex of 4 Bahia Principe resorts (the other 3 are across the highway). Sian Ka'an guest have access to all of the resorts, and restaurants however only those staying at the adults only section of Akumal have access to Sian Ka'an. Details : The resort is about 90 minutes from the airport, our carrier provided a bus transport which was efficient - 90 minutes is a fair drive, but it goes by quite quickly as there is lots to see as you drive thru the Mayan Riviera etc. Check in - was efficient, we arrived around Noon and although the room was not ready (as the resort was at capacity) it was available just before 2pm. Overall the check in experience was good, the front desk staff are courteous. As there are approx. 20 buildings all with 3 floors, the bell boy delivers the luggage to your room or will take you to your room. The initial impression of the resort is highly positive - it's an open lobby with marble and bronze statues / pools etc. Room - we had a deluxe suite (one step up from the standard) we were on the 1st floor and were in a lush tropical paradise (there are no ocean views within Sian Ka'an as you're across the street from the ocean) The room overall was nice, we had a wet bar, and fridge stocked with beer, pop, liquor, water etc. A table and chairs, couch and a large outdoor patio with two lawn chairs and a table. The outdoor patio is likely being in the tropics....birds and various animals can be found wondering the property. The bed is comfortable, there are plenty of comfortable pillows on the bed, but it all depends on what kind of pillow you like. The bathroom is smallish with 1 pedestal sink that is a bit awkward and not ideal for laying out products. There is a shower that is modern however not romantic if that makes sense. As a reminder for those that haven't been to Mexico before, DON'T DRINK THE TAP WATER - DON'T EVEN BRUSH YOUR TEETH WITH THE TAP WATER. You can get as much bottled water as you want - you can call down for it if you need more or you can stop by the main lobby on the way to the room and they are happy to give you as much as you need. There is a safe in the room that is easy to use. WIFI is available in the room and throughout the resort - it can be used at the pool etc if you wish. WIFI worked incredible well - no connection issues - available across the resort. Being on the first floor, we did see a few bugs.....some ants on the patio, and we did have a fair sized spider at one point - we ended up just laying an extra towel at the bottom of the door to ensure no other friends came in for a visit. The air conditioning in the room is controlled by a remote and easy to use - as well there are 2 ceiling fans - we ended up using those as they more then cooled the room adequately. Food & Service - The service for the most part was excellent - the breakfast buffet at Sian Ka'an is exceptional, some mornings there would be live music. As for breakfast, a wide selection of pretty well everything....the omelette bar at breakfast had a great selection. The wait staff were very nice consistently. The buffet food was very tasty for lunch and again a wide selection. Breakfast has loads of juices, fruits, veggies, pancakes, pastries, eggs, meats, fresh break, a toasting station etc. Lunch has a pasta bar, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, fish, salad station, ice cream, desserts etc. We ate lunch at the Infinity pool at Akumal most of the time, and it had excellent food - it’s situated right beside the ocean so it has a great view and nice breeze. We ate at a la carte restaurants every night, and all were quite good. The Mexican (Tequila) was exceptional with a mariachi band playing at tables during dinner. The Italian restaurant (Dolce Vita) we went to twice and enjoyed the chicken Parmesan. Maiko the Japanese restaurant at Sian Ka’an was also fantastic and offered our best meal of the week. The Sushi Dao is exceptional. The Brazilian steakhouse (@ the Akumal infinity pool) was also a great meal. The buffet at Akumal for both lunch and dinner offers the most variety and quality of the buffets. The Pool / Property - Sian Ka'an has 3 pools - one near the fine dining restaurant - this pool is the quite zone.....the middle pool is the biggest and some folks were playing music, but it was still quite quiet. The bar hut is in the middle of the second pool and the third pool....the third pool has music and "entertainment" for those seeking a bit more interaction. The pools were nice and again in more of a tropical setting. We ended up at the infinity pool at Akumal (which is also adults only) - it overlooks the far south end of the beach / resort, and was absolutely fantastic. Great views and service around the pool. It is usually quite busy by early afternoon you likely won't find an open bed. The pool area is clean, we would be down at the pool area around 9am and there were still a few spots. The beach towels are in your room when you arrive and need to be there when you check out - loosing the towels costs $20 or something like that. The service at the pool area is EXCEPTIONAL - service at your loungers - the wait staff come around often and non stop to ensure you're hydrated! :) A full range of drinks - beer, wine, spirits, champagne and more top shelf type liquor too. Be sure to try ICEBURGS - half to 2/3 beer and then 1/2 to 1/3 frozen margarita....those were the drink of choice for the week, but aren't on the drink menu :) The music around the pool is on a loop of cheesy music....same songs all week long. I would recommend bringing your own mini speaker... then you can listen to something a little more exciting. The property is beautiful - well maintained, lots of large palm trees and greenery. Likely the lushest resort I've been. The ocean and beach area is beautiful - There is a defined area for Sian Ka'an that is adults only - its a beautiful cove with crystal clear water. It's close to the Akumal pool area, and if you walk south you get to another adults only beach that is right in front of the Akumal infinity pool. Lots of lawn beds, and wait staff will serve you on the beach. The water in the ocean is pretty well crystal clear and clean - we saw loads of fish, but nothing else too exciting. We walked down to the Bahia Principe Tulum beach and it was crazy - kids galore and people galore - that beach is for people staying at Tulum and Coba and was really quite chaotic.....just stay at the adults only part and you'll be all good....the bar on the beach with the swings is lovely. There was a varied range of nightly entertainment. Twice we heard a great cover band singing modern and classic rock songs. We also heard a couple other cover bands that were more comical then good......like a cat stuck in a bag....but it was ok for 30 minutes to an hour while waiting to go for dinner. We enjoyed sitting at the lobby area of the Sian Ka'an which was always quite busy and happening between the 7 - 11pm hours. The peso conversion is a bit of a floating target during the week for exchanging Canadian. You do not need to get American currency from Canadian - they will exchange Canadian at the front desk no problem. (As of early November 2018 it’s 1250 pesos for 100 Canadian) Gym - there is a gym at Coba and Akumal - we would go to the Coba gym for about 8am and would have no issues getting machines - ellipticals, bikes and treadmills. Free weights and weight machines. Not the best gym, but good enough for a vacation workout. Runs around the property can be majestic with all of the great greenery and scenery. I think I've covered about as much as I can. It's a great resort - highly recommended - we may end up trying Akumal next time to be closer to the beach / infinity pool and would still have access to Sian Ka'an if we wanted some quiet.

Riu Vallarta: Resort that will make you to return

We liked almost everything in this resort:the art deco style it is decorated in, reception(check-in/out took a couple of minutes). Staff is super friendly & helpful, no problems with English. Rooms and grounds are clean, frig is supplied daily. Washrooms are a bit dated and need renovation, be aware there is only soap & shampoo/shower gel supplied. Food satisfies everybody's taste & you can find something to eat & drink 24/7(no straws for drinks supplied anymore). There is no problem with beach lounges but the shade is only from tall palm trees which is not enough unless you want to fry in open sun. We saw people bringing their own umbrellas or you can rent them from the locals. Entertainment was good, every night live music shows & performances. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Crown Paradise Club: Good place for kids

The kids pool was great. Lots of happy children playing in there every day. Food could have been better, but there were lots of options. Close to the airport and Marina. Overall, a good family vacation.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Best all-inclusive resort

I almost never leave reviews but I cannot say enough about secrets Playa Mujeres Cancun. The resort exceeded all our expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pool was large, clean, perfect temperature with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The beach was incredible, we really enjoyed the bar on the beach with the swings. The rooms were large and had a beautiful view of the pool, ocean and resort. And the food... oh the food was delicious, such a wide selection to satisfy any palet [... read more]te. I could write an entire review alone on Bordeaux (French cuisine), Portofino (Italian), and their market cafe. Secrets Playa Mujeres was excellent!!

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: good family resort

This resort was pleasant quite and very clean even with the constitutions going on, the staff was always their for us and we also had the Transat rep. Agustin and his friend for tours and informations. We did enjoy our stay with the Decameron Los Cocos

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Nice resort but won't be back

The resort itself is very nice and the resort staff are excellent and very friendly. Drinks were nice and a very good selection. But there were a few things that this resort is severely lacking. I've been to many resorts in Mexico that have called themselves 4 star and 5 star and they clearly were. This resort is a 3 star dressed up as a 5. Food quality is very poor. Other than the Asian restaurant that was very good. The buffet had the same food almost every day. Their chef or cooks really need [... read more] to understand that raw meat, raw shrimp and raw chicken are not acceptable. There was six of us at dinner together and 4 of us had raw food from the buffet. I told the waiter and then showed him all four plates and they did nothing about it. They left the same trays of these undercooked meats for people to put on their plates even after I told the manager and cook behind the buffet. I had to tell people in line that the chicken and shrimp were raw because nobody else did. I will say though I did enjoy the breakfast buffet. Lots of bacon and sausages and eggs and fruits and crepes. The pool is very nice and the only issue here was that you had to pay for the beds and even though there are lots of lounge chairs available, there are no umbrellas near them. Yes we are here for sun but there is no shade when you need it. This really isn't a complaint just more of a suggestion for the resort. (You are turning the white people pink, lol). The beach is not great. They are right beside the ferry pier so all the seaweed gets trapped at this part of the beach. And it smells throughout the resort. The staff do clean it up everyday but this is not a beach that you can spread out a towel and lay down on. Also there is a very sharp angle from the edge of the beach to the water. This is not the resorts fault but just letting you know that if you want that romantic walk down the beach, this beach is not the place to do that. They pile the seaweed 6 feet high. Im not kidding! 6 feet. I could not see over it. Stay away from the lobby. You will be asked constantly if you got your FREE gifts? This is the time share scam. Do not fall for this! It sounds so innocent but you will only end up wasting half your day with these high pressure sales people. We didn't fall for this but we spoke to a few others that had and were not happy. While we were there it was The Royal play del Carmen. But a couple of days into the vacation we were told that it's now the Hilton. And we saw the Royal sign out front get taken down, so maybe the Hilton will fix the few issues with food that they have. Oh yeah I forgot, bring your own shampoo, theirs is very cheap and watery. Again though, this might get fixed by the Hilton. They were replacing the 40 inch tv's with 55 inch when we were leaving so it's definitely getting a well needed upgrade. Maybe they will get some better shows rather than karaoke three times per week lol. It is very close to 5th avenue (the tourist shopping district) do yourself a favour and walk up to 10th instead. Same stuff, 1/3 the price. Tacos on 5th avenue are $10 for 4. On 10th they are 50 cents each, see where im going with this lol. All in all we still had fun. Your vacation is what you make of it. But we prefer a really nice beach and food that you cant wait to eat more of, this wasn't the place for that im sorry to say.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Secrets Playa Mujeres - Nice Resort with a few Issues

Nov 2018 This may be a bit long but is worth the read. Booked this resort for our wedding/honeymoon. This resort is about 40 minutes north of Cancun airport. The resort itself is isolated from the rest of Cancun which was perfect for us. The fact that it's adults only was also a bonus. We booked the Preferred Club Junior Suite - Oceanview. The resort itself is beautiful but was a bit overwhelming when you first arrive as it is very spread out. We were taken to the Preferred Club Lou [... read more]nge where we checked in and were treated to gourmet food and desserts and fabulous mojitos! We were in building three which has a view of the ocean and the pool. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, there was a jacuzzi tub on the outside balcony as well as a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom along with a rainfall shower. The mini bar and in room snacks were stocked daily! The staff were very pleasant no matter where you were on the resort. The food was amazing and there was a huge variety at the buffet...no complaints with the food at all. You had to line up outside the buffet restaurant to be seated for breakfast and lunch but the wait was usually quite short. There was no buffet available for dinner which was a problem for us as we were a group of 11 and as they do not allow reservations except for one restaurant on site, we had a terrible time finding a place for all of us to eat at once. If you plan on going to this resort with a group larger than four people, I would definitely not recommend it as dinner time was very frustrating trying to get us all accommodated! The Himatsu restaurant allows reservations but you must line up for this only on the day you want the reservation. I was in line at 3:30pm one day in anticipation of them starting to take reservations at 4:00pm so I could get a good reservation time. I was the fourth person in line and when it was my turn to make the reservation, I was told I could only book for 11 people at 9:30pm! To me that's just ridiculous! The Oceana restaurant was closed due to renovations which means the resort was one restaurant down and this should have been taken into consideration by the resort as well. We tried to have dinner at the Sunset Grill and got there at 7:30pm. We were told we couldn't be seated until 8:00pm. At five minutes to 8, I asked if we could be seated. We were taken to a table for 11 people and not two minutes after we sat down we were told that they had made a mistake and that they had a reservation for another group of 11 people which they thought was us, even though we were told that you couldn't make reservations for this restaurant. We were then asked to leave the restaurant which was very insulting. At that point, we asked where they could serve all of us. We were told we could go to the El Patio Mexican restaurant but we had eaten there the night before and didn't want the same menu. They seated us at El Patio and were able to give us the menu from the Oceana restaurant so that they could accommodate us. Octavio who is the manager of El Patio was very kind to us and we appreciate his service. That being said, Secrets needs to step up it's game when it comes to larger groups. I don't know how many weddings are done there every day but there was at least one wedding every day we were there and I'm sure that we are not the only group to have this issue. The restaurants should be more accommodating and allow the bigger groups to book reservations for the restaurants, especially when they know it is a wedding party bringing them business. Regardless, all of the food at the resort was exceptional and the wait staff at the buffet and all the restaurants offered tremendous service. Aside from the issues with the restaurants, I would definitely recommend this resort for weddings. Our wedding planner Ana was amazing from beginning to end. From the email conversations to arrange the wedding to the actual wedding day, she was polite, knowledgeable and very easy to work with! I truly appreciate all of her assistance! There were so many options to choose from and you could spend as much or as little as you wanted to make it the wedding of your dreams. The wedding was better than we had anticipated and we didn't have to break the bank to get what we wanted. We had the option of a beach wedding or the wedding gazebo overlooking the ocean. We chose the gazebo but we saw weddings done on the beach while we were there and both settings were amazing! The officiant was also amazing! She was thoughtful, pleasant and knew the ceremony inside and out. Her voice was soft spoken and very pleasing, almost maternal. I'm so glad that we had her as our officiant, she really made the ceremony special. From the music we chose, the sand ceremony, the champagne toast and the the beautiful set up of our terrace dinner overlooking the ocean, we were impressed by it all! My bouquet was even more beautiful than I had anticipated and the roses smelled beautiful!!! The florist did an amazing job with the rest of the flowers as well! Once again, the food was amazing and the service staff was top notch! Being part of the Preferred Club, we were able to use the palapas on the beach! They were very comfortable and kept you out of the direct sun. The staff were very good when they were there but there were times when you didn't see the drink waiters or the staff to set up the palapas for a long period of time. It was faster to go to the bar on the beach yourself to get your own drink. It happened to to very windy while we were there so a lot of seaweed had accumulated on the beach. They were definitely on top of it though with people and machines clearing the beach constantly. The water wasn't blue but it was very nice and you were able to swim in it everyday. One day there happened to be a red flag on one end of the beach due to sting rays but you were still able to swim in the opposite end of the beach. The sand was really soft and white and nice as well. We went over to the Dreams sister resort just to check it out one day. It was nice but we found the grounds of Secrets to be nicer and you definitely noticed that it was much more child oriented. The entertainment at the resort was fantastic. Every night was a different show. We really enjoyed the circus night, rock show and Mexican night! They are not to be missed! The grounds were very well kept and they were constantly cleaning around the resort. It was fun to see so many iguanas around the grounds and they really didn't seem to be too afraid of the people as long as you left them alone. You should be aware that this resort offers time shares. They ask you to participate in a presentation but they really don't pressure you. If you say no, they leave you alone. All in all, the resort was great, the people were great, the beach was great, the food was great and the weather was great! Our only real complaint was not being able to be accommodated properly for group dinners at the resort. We are definitely sold on the Secrets brand and would visit another resort but not with a large group! If you are a couple or a group of four than this resort is perfect!

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Great resort!

Everything was great: employees, service, food, animals, nature etc. Really glad that we found this hotel, I would love to come back again and again!!! We love to spend time on beach but due to wind and seeweed (couple days) we have to relocate to pool area. But it wasn’t high season so we can expect this.

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: hugh resort with lots to do

The resort was absolutely beautiful. Our room was very spacious, had a comfy bed and the room service was great. We didn't book any tours as we were only there for 5 days but we kept ourselves busy with pool activities ,biking etc. We made reservations at several different restaurants. The food was great but the service was very poor at the steakhouse. Our reservation was for 5 pm but our entrees did not arrive until 7 pm. Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Clean, friendly, basic & nice 3+ resort

-very clean -staff all very friendly & helpful ( especially sweet Veronica at the front check-in desk) -small entertainment team tried very hard, but you could never really see them because the stage lights were behind them, annoyingly shining right into the audience's eyes, leaving only dark shadows as entertainers. There were also 2 small light sets off to the sides, but they were only LED & offered almost insignificant lighting. A small change to the lighting could be a huge boost to  [... read more]the entertainment because you would actually be able to see them. - other entertainment: none, no disco , no piano bar, or no evening musicians in the lobby - bikes: 4 mornings a week at 9:15 you can go on a guided 1 1/2 hour ride downtown (same tour each day). -Nice ride. Bikes are not accessible other than on these 4 rides with a guide. - internet: wifi accessible around resort from your own device, 2 guest computers available for use in the lobby as well , -all free - 4 pools were nice: A) main, with activities & really loud music B) small, adjacent to main, C) family, with little slide, and D) the wonderfully peaceful adult pool next to the bird sanctuary/estuary , - no hot tub - food: always fresh fruit available at the buffet, breakfast pretty good with a fresh omelet cook & fresh fruit smoothies @ the buffet bar. The buffet dinner however was somewhat like my microwaved leftovers at home. You never went hungry though because it was good enough. There was a menu restaurant by the beach, open a few days a week, that had tastier foods (& soft vanilla ice cream). - rooms: clean with comfy beds. main floor rooms all had a hammock & 2 chairs, 2nd floor had 2 loungers & 2 chairs/table, good size balcony, open on side with neighbour like main floor, & a secluded 3rd floor balcony ( never saw the size). We really recommend rooms in blocks 1 or 2 over looking the adult pool & estuary for peace & privacy for older folks. - beach: okay to walk on but never swim in. The sand was rough on you feet soles. You can walk for hours in either direction -Spectacular sunrises. -Turtles: research area in front of the hotel. In the autumn, the big turtles come ashore at night to lay about 100 eggs, sometimes 15 turtles come at night. Early in the morning researchers dig up the eggs & rebury them in the research area in front of the hotel to hatch in safety. Then they dig them up in the afternoon when the nests have hatched & then safely release the babies into the sea each evening in front of this or one of the nearby hotels. They let the guests help dig up the newly hatched baby turtle & then you can watch them release (about 1000 per night in early November ) into the sea. We are not sure which months, if any, have no turtles though. - Downtown square: about a 20 minute walk or hop on a bus for 12 pesos (about 18 pesos per $USD). There is a Thursday Art Walk with some liveliness about the area. We, fortunately had the Art Walk coinciding with Night of the Dead in Nov 2nd, 2018. The Night of the Dead was so interesting with decorated shrines, lots of good skeleton costumes & skeleton entertainment like dancers & costume competitions, & vendors. - horses: stable across from hotel, $40 USD / hour - bird sanctuary/estuary: - very nice walk, access by hotel & a few other spots along the walk to town - Cabo San Lucas: - is about a 45 minute rural bus ride from San Jose del Cabo for 38 pesos ($2 USD) on the Purple & Yellow bus, which you catch up by the commercial center, maybe 1/2 hour walk from hotel or access by frequent city bus. Cabo San Lucas is busy, with many vendors bugging you. You can catch a water taxi to see the famous rocks for really cheap, about 10 - 20 bucks, with vendors continually asking you along the waterfront. -We chose this resort because of a great deal. We had a great time.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great vacation!

Everything was perfect. Our 10 year old loved it here along with us. We will be back for sure. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, well kept grounds, lots of pools and nice beach. There was a bit of seaweed coming into beach but they cleaned it every day. Food was excellent.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Top quality resort

This was our third time at this resort and we’re still impressed! Absolutely amazing food, staff and gorgeous grounds. The pools are always immaculate, there is always fresh food available 24/7, bars are abundant and the beach is always clean with plenty of chairs and calm waters for swimming. I would highly recommend this this resort for families, couples, groups... everybody!!

The Sian Ka'an at Grand Tulum: Great Resort

Splendid! Review of The Sian Ka'an at Grand Tulum We stayed a week in The Sian Ka’an Grand Tulum in November 2018. This was our 6th visit to this property. Restaurants: There are a few “a la carte”. We liked the best “Careyes” and “Cocoa”. The breakfasts and lunches (a la carte) were very good. Nelson and Teresa were outstanding. Buffet: The general buffet restaurant very good. Beach: Is absolutely great. Depending on the day there might be some seaweeds. Well it i [... read more]s a sea. The staff works hard trying to clean them. Bars: The Piano bar in the lobby has the best selection. There is a "Cigar" bar where all drinks cost. Service: The service is great. I cannot recall the names of all the committed individuals working there but I do specially remember Noeli at the “Café and Me”. Gratuities: We left a tip every time. No pressure to do so. Rooms: They have “Pool view”, “Ocean view” and “Suits” . We chose a Suit. Entertainment : Adequate considering the size of the property. Cleanness: Almost 100%. Unfortunately the glass doors (in spite of having handles) require constant attention from the staff. Transport: It is well over an hour from the Cancun airport. The buses are new and clean. This is the first time we went 6 times to the same resort. That speaks volumes.

The Pyramid Cancun: Top notch resort

We stayed at the pyramid oasis and other than a slow check in, we had a wonderful week. The staff are amazing and always willing to help. Customer service was great when we discovered we had no remote control for the TV. We loved the VIP treatment that the black bands gave us. One of the nicest beaches we’ve been to, unfortunately, it was windy the week we were there and although we enjoyed the beach, we only spent a little time in the water as the waves were quite high. The pool was s [... read more]pectacular and very clean. Lots of seating available by the pool at all times. The evening shows and entertainment was spectacular; we actually saw red circus twice in the week we were there. The gym could use some updated equipment as everything is quite old and rusty and not very clean which is in contrast to the rest of the resort. The buffet for the VIP black band was great for breakfast with many choices, however, we found that dinner was often lukewarm to cold. There are so many restaurants at the resort to choose from that this was a minor inconvenience espeially sine there was another buffet at the other end of the resort as well as specialty restaurants. All in all, we had a fantastic week and are planning on going back next year.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Beautiful and Enjoyable Resort

The grounds were well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Friendly maids. Lovely swimming pools. Beach had a few weeds and and was not clear water due to waves. We still had fun in the waves just could not see any fish. Lot of variety with restaurants. Food was beautifully displayed and delicious!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Five Stars Vacation!!!

We had a great time, great resort with a lot of activities from archery, shooting, bike tours, tennis court, a new and modern gym to name only a few. The service was 5 stars everyone was greeting us with a smile and from reception, concierge, waiters, entertainment staff we felt welcome and spoiled. A great club for children, we don't have young kids but we noticed what a good time the children had from morning till evening. We will definitely recommend this resort to our friends. Allegro Cozumel: Great Resort

I think this resort Is great. Accommodations were good although the bathroom smells a bit bad because of the water in the toilet. That was a bit hard to stomach by the end of the week. The food is pretty good. I've seen alot of people complain about the italian and Mexican restaurant but I thought they were pretty good. The weekends get busy with lots of locals coming in, so I would plan excursions for the weekends and enjoy a quiet empty resort on the weekdays.
