Ocean Riviera Paradise: great value

Excellent large, clean rooms, great evening restaurant choices and lunch buffet, and very friendly service from all staff. Beach was disappointing due rocky shore and seasonal seaweed. Lots to do at night on main street, both ice cream and coffee shop, batting cage, etc.SPA needs to manage their appointment times better and not advertise Reflexology vs. their foot rub.

Ocean Maya Royale: Awesome resort. Great entertainment!

Very nice resort. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Restaurants were excellent and the staff really took the time to get to know you. Entertainment staff were awesome and they had lots of activities for everyone. Definitely will go back to this resort.

Playa Vista Azul: 2nd time and worth every penny

Hotel rooms were well kept - Service at the Privilege was TOP notch... beach was gorgeous! Food was great. Drinks were great as well! The view over the water was one of the best I have seen and the location was close to the hotel and a quick can ride to Varadero

Ocean El Faro: super

excellent,super restaurant.everything was perfect.just the beach is bad whit big waves and alga but 100 steps to the left there is a lagoon with blue water ,no waves ,no seaweed alga ,no coral!...PEOPLE BE CAREFUL when registering check in , read the paper that they give to sign,,, when you check out and you dont have your bracelet the BRACELET LOST is costs $150 us (must be gold bracelet)

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Good resort, disappointing restaurants

Having previously enjoyed a vacation at this hotel, after coming out of an extensive surgery 7 months ago we chose to meet some good friends here. The hotel is super clean, the grounds are immaculate, the four pools cater for everyone, or so I thought until one afternoon they decided to bring the party pool to the adults only "quiet" pool, this was not well recieved by the adult pool regular visitors. Of the five restaurants we tried two were excellent, Sensei, the teppanyaki experience is well worth a visit, excellent service. Villa Marina, the steak house is also very good both for food and service. The crepery by the adult pool aspires to be something special, it is not although the bar service to those by the pool is very good. The Blue Moon "romantic dining" is anything but. Large loud tables and offhand service spoiled the experience, food was mediocre at best. The terrace Italian is a complete disaster, cooking at the table appeals to vacationers and it was mostly full but the food was terrible, as was the service, they served a 'dead' clam, the tortellini was hard rolls of 95% pasta, the spin inch and feta was really hard to find and harder to taste, two of us had carbonara so naturally it was cooked together however when it came to the plating 80% of the bacon was on one plate. The service provided by the lobby bar staff is second to non, Angelise and Manuela are exceptional waitresses, the bar men, sorry I don't remember their names were also very good. Carlos made our coffee at the bar each morning and he is exceptional also, a very pleasant young man always eager to please. Ou vacation was a success because of the company of our great friends and our reluctance to let the disappointments spoil it.

The hotel architecture was stunning. The cleanliness of the hotel was always on point. The staff was always professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely kid friendly which we loved because we travelled with our little one. They had a separate pool just for kids, a kids club where they offered tons of activities and kept the children engaged. Playa Vista Azul: Boring!

The hotel pools closed quite early - 6 pm. Limited selection of drinks at bars after pools closed. There were limited activities for quests to get involved in - it was actually quite boring. The beach area was very small and bordered by rock on one side and the next hotel on the other. No in room drinks (coffee, water or alcohol). Top blankets were dirty/stained.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: The best resort an staff

This resort is a great resort for single or family. The recreation staff get everybody involved if you have a question you can go see Alexander an he will help with any needs you have.The bar staff is great an David from guest services can sort out anything even found my shoes 3 days later lol I highly recomand this resort

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Okay resort

The resort was okay. People working there were friendly and the rooms were clean. It is kind of run down for only being 2 1/2 years old. Food was okay. I expected better from past experiences in Mexico but it was okay. Beach was terrible. Really rocky all the way out.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Disappointed

This was my 14th time to Cuba...and unfortunately the worst experience. Let me start by saying that I LOVE Cuba, and typically I can't say enough about the staff, the food and the property but this time was different. My friend and I traveled in October 2019. It was low season so we were aware that a pool, a la carte restaurant and number of buildings would be closed. There were supposedly only 200 guests at the resort. I'll start with the positives...a la carte dining was VERY good. Food wa [... read more]s tasty and well presented. The servers in the a la carte were excellent. My only complaint would be that it was always in the same restaurant with the theme changing each night. I have never experienced that before. The rooms were clean and made up consistently. The mini bar, however was not restocked each day. We were given 2 beer in bottles which we could not open. I have never encountered beer not in easy accessible cans. A staff member delivering beer and pop did open a bottle for us, by using the edge of the dresser, but that beer was never replaced the rest of the week...neither was the pop consumed. We found the staff unfriendly. We had a waitress in the pool snack bar "roll her eyes" at us when we asked if breakfast was still being served 30mins before lunch service started. We then waited and order lunch when she said no. Sandwiches that we were served were on saucers with only a few french fries...when we asked for more fries we again received another eye roll. We wouldn't have minded too much, however the Cuban tourists staying at the hotel were served meals on full size plates. The one pool that was open has very dirty. Murky water. Tons of missing tiles. Debris floating in the water. Not once, all week, was there ever anyone cleaning the pool. As a pool owner I found this troubling. There was also a lid missing from a floor drain, in the shallow end, which was a potential serious accident/ankle turning issue. Lastly, was the Lobby bar staff...Cubans were always served first. Bar staff seldom smiled and nor made eye contact when taking orders, even though we were tipping them. The pool bar staff was very good, however. Sadly, as a travel agent, I would never recommend and Ocean property and will never return to this resort. I have always had good experiences with Melia and Iberostar.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing Resort!

My boyfriend and I recently came here for his 40th birthday and we absolutely loved it! He has stayed at a few other resorts and this was his favourite one so far. The staff were funny, outgoing and very attentive. The resort was beautiful, clean and very safe. The beach was great and we loved that you could just walk it for a couple of hours. We stayed in the El Beso swim up and loved it. We were surprised at how quiet it really is when the doors are closed and the party was going on. Playa Vista Azul: Ocean Vista Azul - Good Hotel, great beach

The hotel was conveniently located not too far from the airport. It is right on the beach. There are lots of loungers on the beach and at the pool, so saving a chair in the morning with a towel wasn't necessary. A bar and washroom facilities were also nearby for the beach and pool. Unfortunately, there were only 2 restaurants and the buffet open each night, which meant it was difficult to get into a restaurant and we had to eat buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner most days. The buffet got b [... read more]oring! The food served in the buffet was fine. Highly recommend you bring your own salt, pepper and spices to enhance the flavours. The rooms were clean and minimal, no coffee maker, but we asked and they sent one to the room. In general, the hotel is run down, chipped paint, damaged doors, damaged tables in the restaurants. But you get what you pay for.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Amazing resort

The hotel experience was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed at the privilege area and the food was delightful. Overall, the hotel is very clean and tidy and there were many activities to play everyday.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Beautiful Vacation

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this Beautiful resort. Everything was great. Service was great, people were lovely and the food was good. I love Cayo Santa Maria the beaches are so beautiful. We look forward to returning again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who make this resort one of a kind

Ocean Blue and Sand: Good resort!

This resort has an amazing beach and delicious food. We had some problems with AC on the first day but everything was fixed after we mentioned at the front-desk. The food was very good and service as well. Thera are also boiling, pinpong, billiard where you can have some fun. Also, they have amazing entrainment team, you will have lots fun joining their contests.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Fun week

This resort has exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly suprised by the amount of good food I get to eat there. Most of the staffs are very pleasant and courteous. Rooms are clean all the time. Only downside was couple of staff at the lobby have promotions that they need to sell and it was tiring when you have just arrived from long airplane ride. Also the beach wasn't as gorgeous as you would want to be (Can't do anything since it's nature).

This hotel was excellent. The location was perfect. It was very clean and the food was goo. I would definitely recommend it to other people. The time of year we went was also good because it was not too busy. the staff were friendly and helpful.

Loved this resort. It is fairly new. The beds were comfortable. Our maid Leysi was excellent. Wifi was resort wide which was a nice surprise. The food was quite good. Good selection with many dishes well done. Seafood was excellent. The staff was friendly, very helpful and provided good service. The only negative was the bar fridge was suppose to be stocked daily with beer and pop. Never saw any beer except one day when I happened to have returned to the room when the fridge was being stocked a [... read more]nd I asked for the beer which was on the cart. I even tipped the worker thinking it might be in the fridge the next day and it wasn’t.

Ocean El Faro: GARBAGE

Never again... other than the fact that we were promised PREMIUM BAR is one of the reasons we chose this resort instead of Hard Rock....This hotel is OBVIOUSLY new as it shows with how the workers take care of things. I am now missing over $300 USD from the maid's in the room, my engagement ring as well as other jewellery Items. When we brought it to the attention of the hotel they said "Sorry sir we cannot do anything as we are not responsible" and then said "None of our staff entered your  [... read more]room"... so then who cleaned it? Thats just the start...if you don't tip GOODLUCK on getting a drink... our friend had just arrived the next day and it took him over 30 minutes to get a drink when he first checked in and the hotel was DEAD. We were okay on getting drinks cause we have already tipped over $40 USD. Half the restaurants were closed when they were being promoted as being open... on your first full day they will lie to you (the buggy drivers) and say we will take you to the beach and you end up at a lighthouse where they try up selling vacations to you... then guess what? You never see that buggy guy again (gets his commission then f***s off) Horrible experience for my birthday and I regret every dollar I spent on this place. Servers were SUPER disrespectful even at the "24 Hour Diner" that hever had no food. You feel like you asked for a million dollars when you ask for french fries. On our last night we wanted to get a snack after their shitty disco and the guy said no food left but then the chef called us over privately and asked what we would like to eat.... I can keep going on about this place but there's no point. They dont respect you or your money. They need another 10 years of building..... And be CAREFUL on the "private beach" that they promote
