Grand Palladium Kantenah: The Palladium is a fantastic resort!

The beach is beautiful white sand... the pools are cool and refreshing... the food is very good. Nothing to complain about! The service is fantastic with transportation to all of the lobbies. We cannot express how much we enjoyed it! Can't wait to go back. Air Transat service was unexpectedly fantastic. They are situated in the lobby every day to guide you during your stay. Our favorite bartender Santos and waitress Irma made our stay exceptional.

TRS Turquesa: Relaxing Trip

THE PROS... The resort grounds and buildings were maintained well. The beach was beautiful and was perfect for long walks. The rooms in the Royal Suites were very spacious (Junior Suite Deluxe) and we loved the room service feature using it every morning for breakfast. The Zentropia Palladium Spa was fantastic, and provided an excellent hot tub, massage, and exfoliation treatment for a reasonable package price. Lobby bar and nightly entertainment was very good and the sax player was excellent.  [... read more]THE CONS... Not any fault of the hotel, but the seaweed was problematic (as it has been through the Caribbean recently) and there were big piles lining the beach all the way along. The cleaning of the rooms was generally good, but should include a regular cleaning of the hot tub jets since when we tried using it and turned on the jets the smell of the water was horrible, likely due to not being used and the water inside the jets was stagnant without being cleaned. Not sure what it was, but the smell needed 3 tubs of water and running the jets to get the smell of the nasty water out. All of the a la carte restaurants were generally good with one exception - the Chef Raffaele Italian restaurant was absolutely terrible. The service was brutal as we sat for almost 1 hour before the first order came, wait staff did not seem concerned about the abnormal delays. Salad bar had 1 utensil to use for serving all of the items, and despite asking for more utensils the wait staff went away and never came back. Once the main course arrived it looked like it had been used on display for the past few hours, was plastic looking, and was cold. In fact the chicken dish that my wife ordered was pink looking, outside and in, and it smelled terrible. At that point we immediately got up and left as quickly as we could move and we headed to the buffet.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: great resort,great staff

Special thanks to Savarino for making our stay at the Palladium Bavaro Resort avery memorable vacation. I would recomend this place to everyone, the grounds are very well taken care of and its a joy waking up each morning and enjoying all the greenery, its like being in paradise on earth. Another thank you to Oneal at trip central for recommending this resort to us.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Best family vacation!

We went to this resort during the Christmas holidays with our 3 children (13, 9, 7). My husband and I have high expectations when we travel and I have to say, that other than the food and the beach this resort surpassed our expectations. The rooms were clean, the grounds and pool area were beyond clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On [... read more]e of the great things about this resort is that we never felt the need to leave and go out on excursions (we did spend one day at rio secreto, however). The "People of Palladium" did a great job running activities and entertaining the kids and adults all day long! Not to mention the amazing sports centre they have for the kids and adults to do so much! The beach at this resort was not great. There was a good 10 feet or so of coral in the water before hitting the sandy bottom. It hurt the feet to cross over. I would recommend water shoes if you plan on spending time in the ocean. The pool was massive and with all the activities going on, the limited time we spent in the ocean did not seem to phase our kids. Other than the Mexican restaurant, the other "a la cartes restaurants" were nothing special. The breakfast buffet at Kentennah was good as well as the dinner buffet at Colonial. The coffee from the Espresso bar was great! We will definitely be returning to this resort next Christmas break!

If your looking for a sun vacation with everything impeccable from the moment you get off the plane till the time you have to say goodbye.....this is it!!!!! Always impressed with Punta Cana. Will be back!!

the check in was awesome with Ingrid, upgraded room to renovated section closest to the beach, maid was exceptional. all staff very friendly. Grounds and pool are always immaculate. the staff work hard at clearing the beach of seaweed. my only complaint was the food. The quality has dropped very much since i was there 4 years ago.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Great Time!

The rooms and location were very good. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The staff were very cordial and helpful. The pools require some repair and the room requires ventilation in the washrooms. Overall it was a very good trip!

Grand Palladium Colonial: Fantastic resort

This was our first time visiting the Grand Palladium in Mayan Riviera and we were not disappointed. Great weather,clean rooms, wonderful staff, amazing food something to appeal to everyone's taste buds. We were able to go to a different al carte every night without having to make reservations. The resort offers free Wi Fi though you may find it slow depending on where your room is. Plenty of activities for all ages walking, water aerobics, beach volleyball, paddle boats and amazing pools to swim in. Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort for a Destination Wedding!

We traveled with 30 people for our destination wedding. We traveled with Sunwing and felt the extra perks were well worth it. We enjoyed the inclusive use of all 3 hotels but when we come back in a few years for a return trip we will definitely stay at the Royal Suits Hotel. On a budget with 30 guests the Palladium was able to offer us excellent rates in comparison to the more posh Bravaro and Royal Suits Hotels. Overall the Grand Palladium Resort and Spa was very large and sometimes confusing b [... read more]ut it was fun to get lost and discover a new part of the resort. The Palladium rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Some of our guests complained that the water pressure was inadequate to fill their in-room Jacuzzi tubes. As the Bride and Groom we had no issues with our room and took full advantage of the included room service. Our maids did a beautiful job making up our rooms with daily flowers, towels, and fresh bubbles/ oils for our bath. We loved the in room (included) mini bar. The staff guaranteed refills every two days ( sprite, beer, coke, fanta). Our 2L bottled water was filled daily without fail. The food was excellent, all the buffets had a great variety and quality of food. We loved the a la cartes we ate at, but we found it very difficult to get a seat at the most popular restaurants, as the resort does not take reservations. It was first come, first serve, so you had to line up an hour pre-meal. However we did enjoy having unlimited access to all the a la carts on all 3 hotels. Alcoholic beverages were flowing and not watered down, the house wine was available during lunch and dinner, and the sports bar offered 24hr drinks and snacks. We went on a private catamaran with our 30 guests that our Sunwing rep set it all up. Loved it! The Resort had tons of excursions you could choose from which were at an extra cost but well worth it. The beach was gorgeous, white sand, well groomed and private. The salt water pools were beautiful. I think we saw about 5 different pools, 2 for sure with swim up bars and Jacuzzi bubbles. Our guests enjoyed the pool side bingo, aqua fitness and foam party. Many of our guests spend every night watching the nightly entertainment. They couldn't get enough, every night was different and included two different shows back to back. Unlimited Wi fi was available 24hrs in all rooms and buildings but some of our guests had difficulty at times to access it. Our Rogers customers seemed to have the best reception. Our Wedding day was better then we could ever imagine. From the flowers, to the cake, the ceremony, the food and the reception, everything was perfect. We could tell that the Resort staff was very seasoned and knew exactly what they were doing. Our Wedding Coordinator made the planning process extremely easy and they fulfilled all their promises when we got there. As the Bride and Groom we also had a few of our own special extras (wine ceremony, wedding favors, special gifts and surprises for our friends) that we had brought with us and the resort staff was more then happy to help us execute them beautifully. Overall we a very impressed with the resort, the staff, sunwing rep, and our wedding coordinator. The only major change we would like to see made from this resort is the ability to make reservations at the a la carts, so that we arnt wasting our vacation time in line every evening. We cant wait for our return vacation as Husband and Wife.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Okay resort

Too big, especially walking around with children. Food is very average. Staff friendly and nice. Beach is nice but amenities were less than what we expected. Place too far from Cancun and therefore, too much travelling time for excursions. Hotel is poorly managed as one gets different information from different people. Despite all this, the price was not cheaper than some of the better resorts that we have stayed at previously. Grand Palladium Vallarta: Grand palladium vallarta

We recently travelled to PV and stayed at the grand palladium Vallarta. Hotel was very clean and food was good, and staff were very friendly and helpful! You pay for what you get I wasn't happy to hear people complain about the resort as I feel it is about a 4.5 star and other people I guess don't! For the people that want to complain common I can see if you payed 15,000 or more on a trip you should expect people to jump to your needs but really reality is you won't get in anywhere. Stop complai [... read more]ning and just enjoy it for the time you travel and guess what you don't have to go back if you don't want to! All I saw the whole trip was the employees working there butts off to make the resort what it is... We travel lots and Mexico is one place you don't see employees sitting on there as* getting payed for nothing.

TRS Turquesa: Wonderful place for a getaway!

Our room was spotless every day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds and pool area were gorgeous and clean. The shower in our Royal Suite was on the small side but worked well. The beaches were clean with deep white sand. The seaweed was not an issue. We had a walkout terrace with 2 chairs and a table to put your drinks on while we relaxed outside. The cappuccinos were great!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Excellent!

Great place to stay. Clean and nice layout. Bars at every pool. Bartenders very friendly and recommend drinks. Infinity Adult pool is great. Nice shows every evening. Lots of things for family to do. Would go back anytime. We love it! Friendly people!!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Awesome Resort

We loved the food, the beach and all the beautiful landscaping. Oh and the Spa was incredible! Left the spa feeling very rejuvenated, staff was very professional. The resort was a great size, not too big or small. Everything was great, would definitely recommend.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Fabulous stay over the Christmas holiday!

We absolutely lucked out and our whole group (all over 18) were upgraded on arrival to the Royal Yucatan Suites! Private pool, bar, lobby and restaurant. Even a butler for each small villa. Royal Suites guests could reserve dinners at any of the à la carte restaurants whereas for others there are no reservations which can lead to long waits at peak times. The grounds throughout this expansive resort are beautiful and amazingly well maintained. There are two huge pools and a few smaller adult on [... read more]es that you need to seek out. There were more available chairs around the Riviera pool versus Colonial and Kantenah. There are golf carts and a little train to take you from one hotel area to another but walking is pleasant and helps wear off all the food and drinks! There was a lot of sargassum ( type of seaweed) that washed up on the beach while we were there and there can quite a few rocks in some areas. Staff area great. Food is good and of course abundant. Our favourite restaurants were La Lola(get the cheesecake and the almond tart) and Eldorado and of course the Royal Suites private restaurant El Jardin. The larger buffets have a great selection.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Good Enough

We just came back from our honeymoon at the Kantenah. The resort was nice, lots of food options, big pools...but the resort was HUGE and it was very busy. Probably would try somewhere smaller next time. Lots of little things I didn't like, but overall it was a nice resort with a lot of options.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Not for the faint hearted

This resort is actual great for families and adults alike, but not for those who are not fit. By this I mean that there are lots of steep stairs to negotiate, but if you take your time, it's manageable. The family section has a great Kids pool and water park which tempts the kid at heart too, but there are age restrictions, so eat your heart out Grandad. My personal favorite was the Secret Bar and pool, which is Adult only. Meaning NO-ONE under 18, strictly observed by the tactful security staff. Beach area is ample and with a little ingenuity one can walk for miles on an extended section unspoilt by development. Staff were personable and helpful, very competent and some even multi-lingual. I'd give it 9 out of 10 for fit families and adults.

The hotel, room and grounds were very clean with amazing service anywhere we went. We stayed in the 5600 block where our butler was Angel R. If you can book and request a butler it should be Angel, one amazing person. He goes above and beyond, he's always smiling, happy and more than willing to help you. Another recommendation is to book your a la carte restaurants as soon as you arrive like we did or you may not get a reservation at the restaurants you want. Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Great Escape From the Real World.. Refreshing!!

- The suite was very spacious and clean. - Food was great, highly recommend the Tapenyaki a la carte!! - Spent most of our time floating around the pool near the swim-up bar. - Beautiful beach, great for snorkeling. - Resort staff were great and always friendly.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Fantastic Resorts - White Sands, Colonial, Riviera

The grounds were manicured to perfection, the cleanliness was exceptional. The pool areas were very clean and the washrooms were cleaned hourly. The pool area at the Colonial and Kantenah had a water slide which was great if you had children. If you're a big kid at heart this would have suited you too. The food was fantastic; lots of it and something for everyone including a variety for children.
