Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Better the 1st time !

Hello, This was our 2nd time at The Royalton Riveria Cancun..the hotel and grounds are beautiful, the service and quality of food however has gone downhill. Our second night we went to Hunter Steak house..food was cold and had to ask 3 times for a drink, Dined at Armadillo an hour later got violently ill .. throwing up and diarrhea. Scoops coffee bar was excellent, room service great, and martini bar was good except they cannot make a decent margarita if their life depended on it. Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort... definitely five star!

Was upgraded for free because we were celebrating our two year anniversary! Room was absolutely amazing! Jacuzzi in our room .. huge patio with ocean views and another Jacuzzi on the patio. two TV's with 24 hour room service!

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Potential

Grounds were clean and well maintained. Our room didn’t get cleaned one day, even after letting the person at the desk know. There were plenty of staff but many didn’t do much. They were friendly but the level of service should have been higher. The food at the buffet was excellent but very poor food with very slow service at the a la Carte restaurants.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Some nice features but needs improvement

The hotel was fairly new and was very modern. Our room was clean and spacious. The roof top pools and cabanas were spectacular. The Diamond club pool area was nice and of course the beach was beautiful.The food quality was inconsistent as was the service. Some days great and other days poor. They need to improve their processes and hopefully that would improve their communication to their guests.Did not feel we received the Diamond Club service. Beautiful new hotel and grounds, amazing service and even able to call for a bottle of champagne to be delivered to the room with the all inclusive package. Your bracelet also functions as your room key

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Great resort

The resort was amazing but the service needs some work. When you book Diamond Club you expect great service, You shouldn't have to ask concierge 3 or 4 times for something. This hotel is very good but not up to the standards of other Royalton Resorts.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Awesome times!!

This resort is like non other. The staff is friendly and helpful. Always something to do day and night. Was a very great getaway!! I can’t wait to go back. I will and already have recommended to friends and family

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Best Vacation!

We just got back from Royalton St. Lucia this past weekend and it was absolutely fabulous! We travel a few times a year to all inclusive resorts and this resort was by far our best vacation ever. It is now our number one choice. The grounds and building were immaculate. Never any garbage out anywhere. We had a swim out room and it was amazing! The water temperature was perfect and a nice amenity to jump in after dinner for a quick dip. The pool attendant even asked how we were enjoying the water and if the temperature was to our liking! The food was absolutely amazing as well. The buffet had a variety of choices to suit every taste. We were always asked if we had any allergies or dietary concerns. Our favourite a la carte was Hunters. Great service! The one place I was looking forward to the most was the Sports bar. The service was beyond slow. A few families and couples even left with the slow service but that was the only thing we could find fault with. The cafe was great for a night cap or morning tea or coffee. Love the coffee machines that you can get your own coffee if it was busy. I highly recommend this resort to anyone. We were already trying to decide which Royalton to try next and can't wait to return to Royalton St. Lucia. Because of this trip Royalton is our new favourite brand! New loyal guests!!

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Beautiful 5 star resort

We upgraded to the diamond club and the butler service alone was worth it. Thanks to Tony, Samoy and special K for excellent customer service. They take care of any request you may have. Food was Excellent. Rooms were spotless, beds very comfortable. The entire resort is kept spotless. The ocean is Crystal clear and the beach has powder white sand. Nice size beach for walking and sea shell hunting. We had some excellent customer service but also some very poor customer service. We were asked for our feedback several times so they are working on fine tuning service.Don't let that deter you 5 star resort loved it.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: not 5-star

The public spaces in this resort, eg. the pool area, the beach area, all of the sitting areas and the restaurants, were always crowded. Service was inattentive, perhaps because it was so crowded. This resort is small and well-located and our room was very nice with a spectacular view of the ocean. The beach and ocean were beautiful. Despite being a new resort, some of the infrastructure was already in disrepair. The public washrooms were useless. There were two pools, one dedicated to "diamond club" and the other to the rest of the plebs. It was woefully small. It is not likely I will will be returning to this resort.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Nice clean resort lacking in some departments

The property is beautiful. Rooms, lobby, public washrooms and pool area are clean and inviting. The mosquitos are fast moving and hungry at this time of year so be prepared. We were disappointed that there was barely any shrimp, lobster or crab available. None in the buffet and only a few options at a la cartes for shrimp and they skimp out. Always got what we wanted at other 5 star but this one is lacking. Had to call 2 days to get mini bar service and to get our room service plates picked up a [... read more]s the raccoon like creatures will spread any leftovers all over the floors. A la cartes are nice and buffet has good variety.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Very good resort with amazing facilities and repetitive food menu

Pros: 1. Very good and clean hotel rooms. 2. Room cleaning service was very good and creative. 3. Very friend staff and fast prompt service. 4. Food was good. Ala -carte as well as buffet was good in taste. 5. Resort beach as well as pool area is neat and well maintained. Cons: 1. The buffet food menu was totally repetitive. everday breakfast, lunch and dinner had same exact dishes. 2. The cocktail drinks weren't that good. 3. Being first timer to cuba, not sure how tipping culture w [... read more]orks. we ended up giving tips every now and then and might have given at least $150 CAD in tips. probably hotel might provide some pointers/guidelines on the same.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Great Resort

Nice new clean resort less than year old. The staff are excellent great service always cleaning and trying to help you one of the best things about the resort. Food was very good especially the steakhouse. The sports bar also really good but small portions best buffet I have seen in my travels. Mini bar was restocked every day. Had an excellent view from ocean view room. Great waiter service at pool and also at the beach. Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort

Loved the resort, beautiful grounds, pool and beach. Rooms were big, clean and had comfortable beds and pillows. Food was very good. Staff was fantastic, always friendly and helpful. Would recommend to everyone and would definitely go back

Beautiful resort and perfect location. Nice sandy beach. Good food service, friendly staff DISAPPOINTED BY BUTLER SERVICE I think it is just a money grab, I have to call several time to get service. But overall Sunwing flight was good on time.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing stay!

We had a great time, pretty much every aspect was great, food was fantastic and so plenty, maybe to plenty according to my clothes! Room was well appointed, beds quite comfy, we had a rooftop jacuzzi with a nice ocean view! Lots of fun at the disco most nights!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Absolutely wonderful time

Food was amazing, staff was so friendly. Claudia took wonderful care of our room. The jerk hut had killer jerk. I do wish the water was open later. I will 100% recommend this resort to everyone. Service at Tripcentral was also the best. Thank you, Julie, for all your help and follow-ups!

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Resort was absolutely beautiful and well maintained

The resort was absolutely beautiful BUT they ALWAYS ran out of things. You ask for a Mohito they are out of mint. You ask for oatmeal that is an item on the breakfast menu, they are out of Oatmeal, I ordered the salmon burger from the Sports Bar, they are all out of salmon burgers, I ordered pizza with prosciutto and arugula from the Italian restaurant, they give you plain pizza with prociutto NO arugula, they ran out. I went to the coffee bar and ordered a specialty coffee, they ran out of [... read more] whip cream. I went to the food truck ordered Nachos, they ran out of Nachos. It didn't matter which restaurant or bar I went to, they always ran out of something everyday all week long. It took me 20 minutes to get a drink as the pool bar tender kept serving others that came after me, instead of him asking who is next. The Hideaway areas adults only but they are (not adults-only) We paid for adults only and it was NOT because we had to go over to the Royalton to have dinner, where it is full of children and all the pool areas have children as well. Far from St. Lucia’s main attractions and far from the Airport Noise from the amphitheater can be heard in the room and wanting to turn in early was not an option because of the noise. We had an ocean-view room and you only get glimpses of the water We could not swim in The Ocean because of sea urchins, jelly fish and some fish rock that stings you, we were called out of the water every time someone got stung. Service is extremely slow Definitely NOT worth the money paid The resort ITSELF is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, but service was absolutely brutal most of the time. The plus side is the A la Carte restaurants they can accommodate you without a reservation so depending on how you feel when its time for dinner you just show up and they seat you, which was great. There was always chairs to be found around the pool areas without any problems, which was great The rooms are spacious and clean, we got free WiFi throughout the resort which was great, we can call home from the room at no charge which was great. The best People working there were: 1) Amanda our concierge in building 3 - lovely and always listening to us complain 2) Sammy at the Martini Bar, very friendly, happy guy, genuinely wonderful 3) Kertain at the omelette station, he is amazing, just plain wonderful, fast, efficient, great personality, lovely guy 4) Jenna serving around the pool area, always taking care of us when we were around the pool, lovely young lady It is sad that I can only acknowledge so few people that actually made an impact on us in a whole week, we are frequent travelers and we have never experienced the running out of food and products along with the poor, slow service.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Beautiful Resort - Gorgeous Beach!!

We just returned from a family vacation at Royalton White Sands. I would recommend the Diamond Club upgrade. It was worth it. Check in was quick and smooth. Our room was clean, towels changed twice daily by a very friendly cleaning staff. Grounds and public areas are immaculate. All staff were very welcoming, polite and warm. Dining was terrific. The buffet choices are terrific with something for everyone. Food was hot and flavourful including a very good kids station. Our favourite re [... read more]staurants were Zen, Jade and the Steakhouse. The beach was beautiful, no need for water shoes. The kids water park kept them busy all day. A great family vacation. No a place for a quiet vacation!!

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Beautiful resort

Upon arrival we were greeted by Madonna who helped with a very easy checkin then escorted us to our room for the week, it was very elegant and we were so happy to see where we would spend our week, the view was incredible! Madonna checked on us a couple of times during the week, she was very helpful and friendly. The restaurants were fantastic especially enjoyed Ocean Pointe, what a view! We again had the pleasure of the talking to Shimma at the Dorado restaurant where I had the best lamb chops ever, my husband had the lobster bisque and shrimp fettuccine and Shimma took such good care of us. We also had the pleasure of the best maid service at any hotel, her name was Patricia, extremely friendly and such a good and efficient maid service. We enjoyed talking to her and looked forward to running into her daily. We went twice to see the entertainment shows Michael Jackson & Reggae night and enjoyed the shows very much. Overall very impressed with the Hideaway resort and look forward to returning again in the near future.
