Grand Palladium Vallarta: One of the best we've been to!

The rooms and amenities were very good. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent at all the restaurants. Special kudos to Effren and the staff at the Family Selections Pool Bar and Juan at the Hemingway Bar who made the best cocktails!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing Resort!!!

Very nice, well organized , clean Resort! Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing food! We can definitely go there again and recommend this Resort to family and friends. The most important at this time is clean up sea weed - they take good care of it. This way the beach is always nice and clean. Lets go to the Akumal!!!

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Nice resort but far from a five star

Having stayed at other Secrets resorts in Mexico, we came with high expectation and were slightly let down. Although Now Amber is a nice resort, the food wasn’t up to par, the opening times of the restaurants were odd (6:30 for dinner?! At a kids resort when some babies/kids go to bed at 7?!) The room maintence was lacking (there were decals missing off our wall and the smell of musty mold was extremely strong) The beach was terrible (which we expected from PV but it was really small, rocky,&  [... read more]dirty). The resort itself is quite beautiful and the pools are nice. All in all, we would not stay again.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Stay!

This property and this all inclusive package was a great stay overall and very good value for the money spent. The transfer to the resort was pleasant and relatively quick. My room was available early on check-in and was more than comfortable, spacious and clean. Resort provides great system of transportation, yet very quick walks gets you to beach, other resorts and pools. Staff friendly and food quality good overall. Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort!

Rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Loved the large walk in shower. Nice view from balcony. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Pools were clean and always fun activities going on. Not my favorite buffett restaurant I've been to but the individual restaurants were superb. Especially enjoyed the Mexican and Italian. Waiters there were extraordinary, always going above and beyond. Enjoyed the live music nightly and the special shows. Excellence Riviera Cancun: FANTASTIC!

This hotel is extremely clean and the employees are friendly and very hard working. Everyone is there to make you happy. The layout and the beauty of the hotel is that you can party at the party pool or lazily swim or float around the lazy river. It's up to you. They had excellent entertainment and the day of the dead and Hallowe'en were exceptional. Live bands of various music. The food is amazing and we loved the French, the Grill and the Lobster house. This is our 2nd visit and we would definitely go again. It was my sister's birthday and her and her husband's 25th anniversary. They did amazing dinners for us, sang, had balloons and really made the celebrations special. THANK YOU!!!!! My only complaint is that the A/C was way too cold in the room and didn't seem to change no matter the setting. We didn't want to change rooms so didn't say anything until we checked out.

Secrets Aura Cozumel: Very nice resort!

Great people and services. Clean room and resort. Always helping you to get a better stay. Food was great however sometime cold. We had to ask for red wine to be at right temperature. At least they were reacting quickly to all concerns.

Breathless Riviera Cancun: Upbeat, Upscale and Fun

Both the staff and the facility are fantastic at Breathless Riviera Cancun. The resort is brand new and features all of the modern amenities that you can think of. We were also very pleased with the ambiance and the food at the restaurants. The only negative on our trip was the beach (rocky and lots of seaweed).

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Resort / Great Staff

Booked with Air Canada Vacations through Tripcentral's Shauna. With Air Canada we were booked in the Premier Area of the resort. Smaller section, excellent customer service at the check-in desk and great wait-staff at the bar. Shuttles were very helpful as my wife has issues with her knee. Our room in building 3B, 30309 was clean and well maintained through the week. Juan Canche, one of the porters, made sure we had a shuttle to help my wife's knee from paining. Eladia, one of the waitres [... read more]ses in the Premier lobby bar always provided excellent service with a smile. I believe in tipping for great service, which I did on a regular basis. Thank you to the great people of the GBP Coba for making our 5th time at that resort, just as great as the first time.

We have been here 6 times now, and have never been disappointed. The grounds, the food, the activities...everything is superb. We will be back in a year, with the whole family! The Hacienda is super fun, the 24 hr snack shack works perfect for us, and the people...the ones serving us, and taking care of us are phenomenal! If you want to feel like royalty, then stay here!!!

Riu Santa Fe: more than amazing

We loved the place it was fabulous this was are 3rd time there this time we brought a friend with us he loved it the whole resort staff where amazing and the sunwing reps where always there for us maybe next time we can bring a few couples with us we have sent a lot of our friends there and they where very satisfied

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Excellent family vacation

It was an excellent place for the entire family. Service was A1. Extremely polite staff. One issue, when my son lost his arm band , we were charged 500 pesos . I thought that was not called for. Good food and abundance of drinks . Room were clean and well maintained. Fridges were topped up every afternoon. Lot of places in walking distance otherwise take a CAB which is very cheap. Definitely will go back if going back to PV

Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: good resort

good resort if you like small, The rooms are a little dated but clean. Grounds were spotless. They do not allow smoking on the resort which I liked how ever the designated smoking area was at the entrance to the beach and directly under the infinity pool. Every time I needed to use the restroom I had to walk through everyone's smoke, also found ourselves avoiding the infinity pool for that reason, (definitely ended up being a pool for the smokers). The food was good but found them running o [... read more]ut of hot items in the breakfast buffet. I was a little disappointed in the entertainment, most resorts offer a pre dinner piano or some other sort of music where people can dance a little and have a drink before dinner, there was no dancing that I saw the entire week and I love to dance. I really liked the location, we enjoyed walking through San Jose almost daily.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: great resort

This resort has excellent service, rooms, food and staff . The resort pools are great . The resort itself is far from any town so trips to town are at least an hour or so. overall great place My sons wedding was organized by hotel very well done making this day easy for bride and groom.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great Resort

The resort was more than what I expected. Very fancy, clean. Good food, lots of options at any time of the day. The rooms were clean. The view of the beach was nice and you can see it from almost anywhere in the resort for example; lobby, restaurants, room, pools. No complaints. Would go back to the same resort if the price is right.

Riu Vallarta: Fantastic Resort

Cons - Not enough public restrooms - Housekeeping came very late in the day, like 3:45 pm and later. Pros- Food was great, my favorite was most of the meat, pasta, ice cream and desserts. Drinks - Wide varity available, tasty. Pools - Good size, with 16 build in lounge chairs and at least 6 booths with table and seats. Ocean was fantastic, not to rough. Royal Solaris: Amazing staff

The hotel is very nice, however it’s the staff and exceptional service that makes it wonderful - the beach and location are also terrific! We returned for the third time this fall and plan to go back in the future! Very good value and nothing lacking

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Beautiful resort!

Overall this resort is extremely well run! The grounds are very lush with assorted palms and plants. The peacocks, iguanas, capybaras, monkeys that run wild about the place lend a truly tropical feel. The staff were always very helpful and cheerful; from the front desk to the groundskeeper. There was always an assortment of food to satisfy any tastes. The nightly entertainment was always fun, but could have a bit more variety. Some themes were too similar. I was very happy overall and would definitely recommend it and will return again for another visit.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Wonderful Resort!

This was a girl's trip for my friend and I and we were treated so well from the moment that we arrived until the time we left. Everyone we met was so friendly. You can tell that the guests are treated very well as there is a happy vibe throughout the resort. We loved the pool. It was enormous with different areas depending on what you were wanting to do. There was no shortage of shade either there or at the beach. It may have been the time of year, since it was October, but there still [... read more] seemed like there would be adequate space even if it was busier. The beach was also very nice. We did see some seaweed but there was still plenty of areas to swim where the sand was lovely. We loved the fact that you could book an a la carte every night. We booked a few right away when we checked in and then easily booked the rest through the app. All of the a la cartes were excellent but we especially enjoyed the Cajun and the Japanese. The service was excellent in all of them also. The breakfast buffet near the main lobby was amazing. The staff there took the time to learn your name and how you took your coffee. We also loved the shopping center with the casino, shops and disco. We had lunch and ice cream there one day. So nice that this was all included also. Most days we had lunch at the snack bar on the beach. Great food there too. The room was extremely spacious. This was the reason we chose the Maya over the Lindo and we were very happy that we did. There is a small corridor when you come in where the closets, fridge, safe and bathroom are. There is another door that you can close if someone is an early riser. There was also an additional sitting room and then the balcony that was very large too. It even had a hammock. The room cleaning was always done by the time we returned and they did a great job. No matter what time we went out for dinner, early or late, we always received turn down service with extra water, cute towel and face cloth shapes and rose petals. The WiFi worked very well everywhere on the property and was included in the price. The main lobby bar (Snake Bar) was always fun and the drinks were well made there. The bartenders would often go elsewhere if they needed to get you something they did not have. Great drinks everywhere else also. The resort is very large, however it does not take very long to figure out the short cuts. You can also call for the golf carts or flag them as they drive by. We did not need them too much except when we went to the Lindo for dinner at the Cajun restaurant. We did not go to the entertainment in the evening because we tended to eat later and ended up going to the lobby for drinks after dinner. The resort was also a short 30 - 35 min ride from the airport. I have been to many all inclusive resorts but had not visited an Iberostar before. I really cannot think of anything that we did not enjoy about our stay and will definitely be back.
