Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: fantasies came true to life

Our family had an outstanding and exceptional time at the Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal in Rivierra Mexico, the last week of February 2015. The food, service, cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness of staff was bar none, the best vacation our family experienced together. We wiuld return there in a heartbeat.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Treated like royalty!

The staff were exceptional! We were always greeted with a warm smile, from our arrival to our departure. Our room was maintained beautifully, with our beds turned down every night. Our fridge was replenished daily without fail. Our favorite restaurant was the Roma, but we enjoyed the others as well. The food at the buffet was consistently fresh and tasty. Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Pretty good

The Resort was very nice. I thought the Hideaway did not have near enough chairsspace for the people there. 4 out of the 7 days we were there we ended up going to the other side of the beach because they were all in use by other guest. Same goes for the pool. We should have just saved our money

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: huge

nothing particular, 4 star hotel sold for 5 stars. Rooms need update, service is good, hotel is clean, food is good.beach is very unpleasant and distant, you have to take e a trolley to travel. take golden option, if possible.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Well managed resort

Beautiful complex with attention paid to cleanliness and great hospitality. We felt well taken care of by courteous staff and appreciated the food quality and variety offered each and every day at the buffet.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: The perfect vacation

The Sian ka'an is situated off the beach, but is only a 5 minute ride to the exclusive beach. You never have to wait longer than a few minutes for a shuttle. It was nice having access to 3 resorts at the same time. The Sian ka'an was more laid back and quiet, but if you were looking for a party it was only a short ride today coba or tulum. Food was amazing!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Lovely Stay

Beautiful grounds, great food, friendly staff and lots to do on resort! Get some birdwatching in! We loved that there were quiet and more active pools and the evening entertainment list was long. Great transport also.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Fabulous Resort

Grounds are well kept; Public areas Very Sanitary; Rooms very clean; Dining very appetizing; Night Shows AWESOME very entertaining. Also our rooms were in an area which was very quite, so that you could rest and relax.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: amazing staff and resort

Great resort! beautiful grounds, amazing staff, great food! Loved the cupcake cafe, this is a lively resort but at the same time, easy to find quiet spot. Only minus was the amount of seaweed on the beach but the staff did try to clean it up. Apparently this was due to the season. Weren't for the seaweed the beach would have been spectacular. Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great Holiday

Overall an excellent place to stay. Service was great, food was good (not great, but good), pools we fantastic, beach was was good, lots of activities to do if you wanted, and the staff were very accommodating.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Restful, relaxing vacation... just what I needed!

I can't say enough about this resort! The staff were helpful and courteous at all times. We were always greeted with smile. The grounds were lovely and well kept and the rooms were clean and well maintained.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing resort for any type of group!

We absolutely loved the resort, exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing other than the Brazlian Restaurant. Grounds were clean and well lit at night. Several pools to choose from including the children's water park. All in all a great family vacation.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Great resort!

Beautiful resort! Food, service and grounds were all great. Very clean! The beach isn't the greatest as it is man-made but good for families. We spent most the time in the pools which were kept very clean. More of a family and couple resort. Would go back!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great week at GBP Tulum!

We really like the resort (I have stayed at Coba so was familiar with the complex). It's not perfect - we found that our private buffet (in the Club Diamond upgrade area) ran out of certain food and plates occasionally, and the service was a bit slow, but really it didn't bother us too much. Main buffet was better staffed. The entire resort staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the beach but there was some seaweed on it which probably bothered some people, not the resort's fault an [... read more]d it might be temporary...I don't remember it being there two years ago. We had a beautiful room, 3rd floor overlooking the ocean, and when we arrived there was a bottle of sparkling wine and rose petals on the bed (I had emailed the resort to ask for a nice room and their response was a generic "we have recorded your preferences", so it was a nice surprise.). The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The two a la cartes were great, and you can go over to Coba to eat at their restaurants, which we did. There are lots of activities and evening entertainment, can't comment too much as we didn't participate. All in all it was a great week and we're pretty laid back so the little issues didn't matter. I have found that the GBP hotels seem to be the best bang for your buck at that price level.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Thoroughly impressed!

This resort is excellent. Staff, accommodations, food and atmosphere. Food is good, but don't bother with seafood. Worst meal of the week. Salmon was served at room temp, which is worrysome, and my dish came undercooked. There are two distinct sections. One we called quiet , and the other a more party atmosphere. Both sections have their pros but we preferred the quiet area near building 6,7 and 8. The beach was disappointing. Erosion and excess seaweed ( or whatever it was) made the water gross [... read more]. However it's worth it to visit the lagoon the left of the resort. It's really neat. The beach is no reflection of Blue Bay though. OverLl this resort is one I would recommend to friends and family.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful resort

The resort was fabulous: beautiful grounds, rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and fantastic food. Best all-inclusive vacation I have had and I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone I know!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Excellent Resort

This hotel is visually beautiful, the beds were like a dream, the room awesome clean and comfortable. The shower had a double rain shower, a seat, and a hand held, the jacuzzi tub awesome. Restaurants were amazing, food was delicious. The only issue I had was the beach was murky and weedy and I am a beach lover. If you want a better beach go to Cancun or further south in Mayan Riviera

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Valntin Imperial Maya

This hotel is fantastic. From the amazing gardens/surroundings to the beautiful rooms, to the amazing staff to the fabulous food to the fantastic pools to the pristine beach. I don't have enough good things to say about this resort

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Huge resort

First time in Mexico. We loved it! Resort was huge! Everything was extremely clean, rooms grounds, etc. Staff were excellent! It is quite a way to the beach (five minute drive) but shuttles are excellent. We mainly hung out by the pool. They were never crowded and we never had any trouble getting a lounge chair. Also enjoyed the food. Ate at the coba main buffet and also the other resort tullum main buffet. A la cartes were also great:)

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: great vacation spot

Pools were great- whole family loved lazy river. There is a nice quiet one if you want or lots of activities at other 2.If you are a like long walks on beach or out in ocean this may not be the right spot for you. Very rustic - beautiful, but because of all the large rock area not good for long walks. 2 beautiful small spots- great for small children just wanting to play in sand. It is a nice spot for snorkeling-IF you get a very calm day-if not crazy waves. Almost impossible to get into a la cartes. It is also book through concierge.( One in each building) Don't let them fool you - you can book at front desk which is better cause concierge is also there time share people!!!!! This is the one thing that really bugged me. Rooms were big ,room service was very nice. Never had any issues with our stay at all. Grounds were gorgeous!!! Monkeys toucans, raccoons ,and another few animals I cant remember the name of. Restaurant service was slow but most staff were very friendly Great family vacation. We don't like to go to same place twice but I would definitely use there resorts again.!
