Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Great service

The personalized service at the Secrets Capri was fantastic and the staff was wonderful. The fact that the resort is small allows to get to know the staff and other guest which we really liked. That said the food was « ok » but certainly not the quality and variety I would have expected from a 5 star hotel. Also the continual requests from entertainment staff to post good reviews on trip advisor was very annoying.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Fine resort.

Our stay at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach was average.Our rooms were great in the 36 block, spacious, and well looked after, this block is also close to the quiet part of the pool and in the middle of the beach and buffets. I recommend this block of rooms. The staff was always friendly when we ran into them, though no one went out of their way to make an extra effort, we didn't expect them to either. The food is standard buffet food, though the selection is not as large as some of the resorts we've been too, no one went hungry. None of the buffets at Beach are air conditioned, but at the next level up, the Lindo they are. We often found the food times to be awkward and had to wait sometimes for places to open unless we wanted a burger on the beach. Lunch at the main buffet is only 2 hours from 1-3. We often found that when we got to one buffet they were not letting any more people in, but by the time we walked to the other buffet they too had closed the doors. The Star rock cafe was tasty, air conditioned, and had sports playing on the TVs. The little shops and extra features at the shopping center were a pleasant surprise The drinks were standard fair. They ran out of pineapple juice a lot in the dispensers, so i'd have to wait in the bar line to get it. The beach was well taken care of, had plenty of seating, and a wheelchair ramp close to the snack bar. Occasionally there was seaweed on the beach, but honestly the resort cannot control that. Waiter service on the beach was non-existent for us, but it wasn't a far walk to get drinks ever. We found the entertainment to be average; the presenter was often hard to understand as he talked fast. One thing I would like to point out that I found outstanding, was the kids club. We didn't use them this trip as wel left our children at home, but the staff at the kids club always had those littles out doing fun things, we seen them everywhere! Our trip was fine, we didn't have any major issues or complaints, but it wasn't the best resort we've been to. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, but if they had already booked it, I would let them know they'll have an OK time

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fantastic adults only resort

The hotel is clean and very convenient. The staff is very friendly. They offer a large variety of delicious food and beverages. We spent out week there enjoying 5 pools and 2 beaches amd 6 restaurants ans there is nothing we can complain about. We also would like to mention the very helpful and knowledgeable guest service representative Eduardo whom we thank very much for his ongoing support and suggestions.

Riu Palace Pacifico: Excellent Resort!!

This was a last minute decision to go to Puerto Vallarta due to the weather forcast the in the Mayan Riviera. It proved to be an excellent decision. This resort was awesome. Great food, service, rooms, views, pool and activites, beach, all great. Although it is the rainy season there too, we had 6 days of pure hot sun. Water is not clear and blue like the East Coast, but very warm, I mean really warm. Larger waves, but managable to get in and out of the water. Riu Palace Pacifico: Amazing

Overall I'd rate this place a 5. Super clean . Very friendly. Food awesome. Pools always clean. Rooms very clean. I'd go back. Not to kid friendly more for adult. Oh and they don't use straws there for the environment so if you like straws bring some we will for next time. Night time entertain was great.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Exceeded our expectations!

The Sian Ka'an was an absolutely perfect resort. From the moment you arrive, the staff makes you feel very welcomed and special. The grounds of the Sian Ka'an are beautiful. Four pools, amazing snack bar, phenomenal a la carte dining at Maiko and Alux and their buffet is perfection. The buffet at the Akumal was exceptional. We had lunch there at least four times. The buffet lunch at the Coba was also very good however not as fantastic as the Akumal or Sian Ka'an. The staff uses bottled water for everything so you are in good hands. Kudos also to Rick at Trip Central. Everything went very smooth.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Bunch of thieves

The resort itself is super nice too bad the ppl that work there are a bunch of thieves do not i repeat do not leave anything of value in your room the maid stole from us she even stole a gift card with 50$ from sephora 80$ in cash and when iwent too the front desk too complain they kept telling me that they are gona do a investigation after they say the results of the investigation was that they dont know nothing my maids name was theresa if thats ur maid just watch out like i said its realy too [... read more] bad resort is nice food was good and most of the staff was nice but. The customer service guy germain n the security guy are a bunch of jerks that pretend they care but really all they do is put off the problem till ur stay is over and u are gone ill never return too this hotel cause i simply dont think the staff is honest actually they are a bunch of thiefs too bad they ruined my vacation people stay away from this hotel ive traveled alot of countries and alot of hotels this was the worst one by far not the resort but the staff they are thieves they even stole one of my runing shoes how discusting

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing Vacation

I recently stayed at the Hideaway for 4 days and consider it one of the best resorts in Mexico. The service was impeccable, rooms amazing, and food awesome. Special shout out to the entertainment team who made each day memorable. Would go back!

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Great Vacation

The grounds were beautiful! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were a great size but could use a bit of updating. Food was decent, we never left the table hungry. Highly recommend the a la carte. Even though the beach is not swimable, we enjoyed walking along in the sand. Overall great value for the cost!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Fabulous resort!!

This resort was wonderful, the grounds were manicured beautifully. The buffet had a variety of food choices and was delicious 😋. The Japanese restaurant was entertaining and mouthwatering. The pool staff kepted you busy if you choose to participate otherwise sit back and enjoy the fun. The drinks and staff were good but very busy trying to keep up with the orders. I’m sure it was the appreciation of the small tips we left on the bed in the morning and before we went for dinner...(as it is different staff.) We tipped a dollar or two everywhere even though it was all inclusive and we are just average income earners ...and good god it’s hot there and they’re running around waiting on us in uniform..Wow...they don’t mind wet money either..lol Coffee bar was such a plus too! Ocean was to rough but enjoyed sitting on a chair reading, watching, listening to the ocean and having a cocktail, pedlars were not bothersome

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Best place on planet Earth!

This resort and it's staff make everyone feel like a celebrity. The grounds were well kept, the rooms are relaxing and luxurious, the food is incredible! Make sure you eat at Arezzo! The beach is small but allows you to enjoy the ocean. The staff are by far the best in the world!

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Excellent Resort👍💗

Very clean and friendly resort, the rooms were very clean and staff was super friendly 👍I loved the pool and the location was perfect. The entertainment was beautiful and for being there for the first time I definitely would go back! Great experience 😎

El Dorado Seaside Suites: DO NOT BOOK, NO BEACH

This is the worst hotel in Mexico, toke us about 3 hours to check in, we wait for our baggage until 10 pm, the room been clean around 7 pm!!! Now the most important, guys the beach is terrible terrible! It is a man made laguna, all around is those stinky huge black sand bags, the water is up to knee, you can't swim!!! this is only spot to swim, all around is rocks and it is not safe to swim, use google satellite map and u will see that there is no blue water or white sand!

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Okay resort

I would give this resort a 3 1-2 out of 5 . There are some very good things about this resort but also some things that need improvement . Our check in was quite slow and when we got to our room the bell hop told us where the bars were and restaurants but the map of the resort didn’t give building numbers so when we left and since it was dark our whole group had trouble finding our way back to our rooms . The staff here [... read more] are 6 stars everyone was helpful and always smiling except a lady from front desk who was not very nice when I phoned about checkout . The room was 5star always cleaned and we never had a problem with hot water . The beach was 5 star as once tropical storm Michael left there was no problem with sea weed and you could walk for miles along a great sand beach . The pool and grounds were 5 star with lots of umbrellas for shade and good waiter service . But here is the problem with this resort . The food is only marginal at best . We were here for my daughters wedding and when we got our meal the steak and fish tasted okay but everything was cold . The breakfast at secrets was okay with a good omelet station but the breakfast buffet was very limited whereas the buffet next door at dreams was much bigger but noisy and busy .lunch was just okay not great but not bad and the ala carts where hit and miss with some really good and others okay to poor . When we arrived home we had 1 person taken to hospital from the airport with a bad ecoli infection and at least 1 other person with stomach trouble . I liked the resort but with the food trouble and the fact that they are fairly pricey I will probably not return here

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Positive experience

We enjoyed our family vacation. It was clear that there were lots of opportunities to take part in a variety of activities and entertainment. The resort is large, it would have been nice to be treated to a short tour, especially since we were premium members. Brenda in the premium lounge was kind and helpful. The other girls barely raised their eyes at us when we walked inro the lounge. The kids club was really good. We also went to santa fe and capri for dinner. Both servers were wonderful. Bc the resort was so big, we didn't feel the same personalized service as a premium member compared to other resorts. Yet i would still recommend barcelo maya to family and friends.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: All Round Resort is Excellent

The hotel is clean, friendly and well appointed. Service from check in was fast and friendly. Rooms are not ready until 3pm but alternative arrangements for the day are taken care of. Rooms are spacious and clean. We had the jacuzzi on the terrace as well as a soaking tub, which we utilized each day. The house keeping was good but not great. Minibar wasn’t restocked even after asking twice, and jacuzzi was not cleaned once. I rinsed and cleaned it. Had to constantly ask for face cloths [... read more] and toiletries. But other than that great. The restaurants were great. I’m not a fan of all inclusive because of the fear the food will be bland and bad. I have to admit they were all very good. The beach is a disappointment but only through nature’s doing. The seaweed has washed up and continues to everyday. We couldn’t swim in the ocean but the sand is gorgeous and the pools are spread out and pool bars are fun and excellent service, even better when you pre tip the staff. Something I always do. We didn’t use the spa because the hotel spas tend to be over priced. But they look amazing. Entertainment each night was fun and entertaining. I would recommend this resort to my friends and family. Have fun. We did.

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: Amazing resort and great people

The resort, room and pools were amazing. Staff were the nicest people ever. The food was really good. The resort was definitely a 5 star resort. There was great nightly shows Beach wasn't perfect, too much seaweed.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: More then expected

Dining is great, spa is incredible, service staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurants menu very well and food tastes amazing. Alexis Mora on reception very helpful and professional person who made our visit enjoyable.

Moon Palace Cancun: Great Family Resort

Impeccably maintained resort with lots of amenities for kids of all ages. Very friendly staff, especially Miguel, Caspar and Martin 🙂 Although it seems very large, it’s Easy to commute between lobbies with the golf carts or the large buses.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Beautiful resort!

The rooms, pool, beach/ocean and restaurants were amazing. The food was exceptional, as I've always found in Mexico. We enjoyed being a short golf cart ride to Dreams, where the restaurants and bars were equally as nice. Having access to more at Dreams was a perk. The Secrets resort was beautiful but some restaurants were a golf cart ride away making the resort seem a little smaller while you were in the main area.
