Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing family vacation!

Hotel and resort was amazing. We had a family reunion of 13 people and had a wonderful time! Loved it! If it wasn't for tripcentral, my family of 4 would not have made it to the reunion and memorable vacation!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Great resort & service.... don't plan on dining

Fantastic resort with exceptional staff however the Food and Beverage did not deliver the same standard in any of the dining establishments. Poor quality food with lack of imagination and a la carte is a buffet apply with 1 ordered entree and sad desserts..... the exception was the Japanese Restaurant! (1 great meal out of 9 days)

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great resort

Great food and staff. Just the pools were too cold and the beach was not good for swimming. The entertainment was very good and drinks were good. Weather was a little cooler than usual for feb, but not the fault of the resort

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great Bang for Your Buck!

The amenities, service and atmosphere were wonderful. A la carte restaurants excelled in presentation, but too often disappointed in taste. On the other hand, the buffets were awesome. It was quieter at the pool by buildings 7 & 8, active and raucous down by the beach! Overall an excellent value and enjoyable experience. The occasional waft of sewer odour was unpleasant and should be dealt with immediately.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fun Vacation at Coba

The Coba is the lesser of the four resorts in the Bahia complex and by staying there we did not have access to the luxury Akumal. The staff was great, food good, kids activities plentiful but the Coba pool was very crowded, the beach area we were confined to was inferior, and the rooms were tired. Fun but not 5 stars.

Riu Tequila: Great choice!

Large pools, many activities, great service and AMAZING restaurants! Good entertainment, nice staff, relaxing spa right on site. Every restaurant offered a variety of really good dishes. Bars were a little cheap with the alcohol

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Wow!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal. The Room was spacious and beautiful, the food was absolutely incredible, the grounds were impeccably kept and the service was second to none. Will go back next year.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: great resort

We stayed at this resort for a week at the end of February. We found the atmosphere quiet and layed back without the previous known exubarance of the activity star staff, which was fine with us as we came to relax and take in leisure on our own accord. The staff were extremely respectful, friendly and responsive. The meals were incredible in the buffets, snack bars and the a'la carte. Great variety and freshness. There wer [... read more]e many options to pool use however I did find the depth of the pool to deep to feel comfortable swimming in but they did offer shallow swim up areas as well. The beach area was most popular but did experience great winds when we were down and the seaweed did create some distraction. This doesn't bother me so much as it is a natural process of the ocean life. The rooms were clean and well equipped. House keeping staff were extremely responsive. The rooms were a bit out dated and linens could do with a bit of refreshing! However, these things were minor when you consider the overall quality of the resort and grounds that make it very magical. The location of this resort allows one to access popular areas of Playa del Carmen to experience the nightlife and fine mexican cuisene all within walking distance. We felt safe and at home in our many walks down to Playa. You could also use the beach access to get to Playa which allows for another option.

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Fantastic Resort!

Beautiful resort with a jungle touch. Every aspect was excellent, food, service, grounds, rooms and lets not forget the best beach we have ever been on! The evening wild life was a delight at no extra charge. 11 days was not enough.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Almost perfect!!

The grounds are beautiful ,everything is clean and well kept. It is a big resort but you can get what you need very easily. Maid service did forget too leave us towels twice but no big deal. Food was excellent and enjoyed the pool side entertainment.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Great resort

We were given the wrong room we had purchased all in all great place besides the bars were not open enough or long enough pool side bars closed at 6. Resort was full so room we had purchased was not correct room in the picture

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing dinners

Beautiful resort rooms are large and very clean staff very friendly and helpful amazing infinity pool many day beads on beach. Dinners all sit down measl buffer only for breakfast. Only complaints the try to up sell you wine at all or most meals. Lacks night entertainment. Beach is not all sand a lot of coral

Reef Club Playacar Beach: Fabulous!

I would go again in a heartbeat. The location was perfect. Enjoyed the decor. The difference between the wide open beach space and the jungle like area where the rooms are was breathtaking. Afternoon tea was always enjoyed...with a siesta after.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: a great get away place

this was our return visit in 4 years. a great resort then a better one now . the food was outstanding service second to none,a beach for young and old the only issue we had was the room cleaning was not up to standard.garbage left on floor tub not cleaned bed improperly made.but overall come on down

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Great resort

Beautiful resort, the pools are amazing, staff friendly and very helpful. There is always something going on if you want to join in or just stand back and watch. We never had to go out early to get a lounger there was always one available. The swim up bar at the Lindo was awesome, built into the rock with a waterfall. The pool at the Del Mar and Beach section is huge it goes on forever from one end of the resort to the other. Al a carte restaurants were excellent loved the Steakhouse melt in your mouth beef tenderloin, Japanese show table so much fun. I have been to probably 10 or 12 different resorts in the Caribbean and this one is definitely at the top of my list. We will be going back again for sure.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Wow - fantastic resort!

The resort met our expectations and more. Very warm and welcoming staff. Restaurants all very good. Food nicely presented. We enjoyed the service at the Prestige Club. We are definitely returning. Thank you

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Enjoyable visit

Enjoyed our visit. The room was lovely with an ocean view. They needed more lounge chairs by the pool. Also needed more shade cover on the beach. Staff worked hard to get rid of the seaweed. We enjoyed the entertainment nightly.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Five Star all the Way

A beautiful resort with awesome pools, kids waterpark and amazing beach. The food was A1 with lots and lots of variety at every meal. The beach buffet and bars were close to the pools and beach and a delight to eat and drink at. The theatre and entertainment was a highlight. The grounds are mature growth and very well kept and the walkways made it so very easy to get around. Everything seemed so close to get to. The maids were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing Vacation at Sian Ka*an

Just returned March 1 from a week at the Bahia Principe Sian Kaan. A beautiful resort with amazing food and wonderful people. A quick trolley ride to the beautiful beach every day. Access to other resorts and restaurants was a plus. The staff went beyond to assist with anything needed without question. Quiet, serene and beautiful!! There are no negatives about this group of resorts and the Sian Kaan especially!!!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: more then i expected

The hotel was amazing. Great staff. lots to do. Food was great. And the best snorkeling out front of the resort with 2 turtles that live in the reef. Great resort for kids. I'd love to comeback with my kids this time and stay longer.
