Riu Palace Paradise Island: Awesome stay and great Value
went Sept.18 for 4 days at the Riu bahamas. Oceanfront room was fantastic. Great view of the clear sparkling ocean.. There was a musty smell in room but it is a tropical island so turn a/c off and open patio door and it's gone. Buffet was excellent and good variety. Drinks were not watered down. Staff were friendly. Pool was ok but why would you go to the pool when the beach is paradise. Only downfall for me was having to pay $25 for beach umbrellas. This should be included in your all inclusive [... read more]
Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Great time
We had a great time, rooms were nice. The food was really nice except there was only one restaurant open as the other was under renovation. The staff was super friendly & the beach was clean & with super soft powdery sand. Would definately go back!!
The Royal at Atlantis: Beautiful Resort
Royal Tower is amazing. Great place to enjoy a family vacation....fun filled resort for kids and adults. Shark Bites fast foods and snacks are not that expensive at the pool area (burger combo $10.00 + free refills). If you like chinese food, Double Dragon Restaurant will deliver after 6:00PM. There is a convenience store (4lt bottled water $2.25) and Duty Free Shop (24 cans beer $40.00) nearby. Also, Dunkin Donuts is in the same shopping area which is a good place to have an early coffee and br [... read more]
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Please Change name of resort to just Riu
I have been to four different Riu palaces six different times. My parents are Riu diamond card members. This hotel is not a palace nor should it be. It's a feeder hotel to the Atlantis hotel. Which is fine but not why I went to the Bahamas. I went to relax and enjoy Riu palace hospitality and Serves which I didn't find at all
Breezes Bahamas: Great resort
This a great resort. The food was very good something for every taste. The staff was amazing friendly and accommodating. The decor is typical island decor not fancy but very clean. The beach is amazing. The pool was not hugh but very well maintained. Gym -games room were clean and well used - lots of ongoing entertainment day and night some good some so so Its all about location and beach ******
Breezes Bahamas: Very nice
Good value for the money, beautiful beaches, friendly staff. Minor annoyances like having to have the room keycard reprogrammed two or three times daily and calling 5 times to have the safe fixed. Also, the dining room was kept so cold it was impossible to eat without wearing a sweater. Otherwise, a very enjoyable time, wish I was still there!
Melia Nassau Beach Resort: The Resort was nice..
Resort was nice... Hotel is under renovations, but it didn't bother us... The only thing I didn't like was the Hotel Mattress was AWFUL.When it was a Sheraton Hotel the Mattress was amazing.. Mine you could feel the springs...
The Cove Atlantis: Rwesort and Water Park great
Food and drinks way over priced. We were given a gift card as a wedding present but had a difficult time using it. We almost missed our plane. Guest services and check out was a nightmare. Had a panic attack but just made it in time to board the flight. They did nothing to compensate us for their systems error, not impressed, I guess guest satisfaction isn't very high on their list. Otherwise had an ok time.
Memories Grand Bahama: Great vaccation
I had read all the review prior to traveling and knew exactly what to expect. We arrived by 1:30pm and were told our room will be ready by 3pm, which actually took until 4pm. Overall the check in process can become more automated to reduce redundancy and improve efficiency. The hotel itself is not luxury, however it is nice and comfortable. (some areas still need work, such as carpets and chairs in the casino etc). Food was good, with many different choices. Restaurants: steak house was great, a [... read more]
Memories Grand Bahama: the beach wasn't nice
The resort was good, everything in the room was very clean and tidy and they have very expensive be linens, which was amazing, food was excellent, everyday there was different foods, pools were very well kept, but the beach is not for swimming, it is very rocky, not even for lying there on the sun. The staff mostly all of them don't smile and not very friendly, which was not to so good, the only one is a waiter at the steak house, whose name is Martin, he was friendly and very courteous, it was [... read more]
Memories Grand Bahama: not great for couples
This resort only have double beds no queen or king bed, the room were very small too. Majority of the staff were really nice, food was ok, beach was great. Not much to do on the island, but it is beautiful.
Memories Grand Bahama: nice but not 5 star......."think holiday inn"
the resort is clean and well kept , the staff are friendly and helpful , the food is ok but often cold especially at breakfast time. the H Steak House serves some of the best steaks I have ever eaten anywhere. The entertainment at night is so so ,and the disco is unbelievably loud even for the younger crowd with very few people staying to long. The phone in our room never did work despite reporting it 3 times. When first checking in to the resort and despite having paid for "preferred check in" [... read more]

Beautifull resort, nice amenities attentive staff,ok entertainment,March 2014 Restaurans not all open but wast to be By april 2014,food was very good,Children entertainment was much better then adult entertainment and evening shows were very amateurish.
The Royal at Atlantis: amazing family resorts
I took my 3 yr old and my 4 yr old, they had a blast. the adults loved it as well. we decided we will comeback every year. great place for the kids. they looooooooooooooooved the lazy river. I think we went on it at least twice every day we were there.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Clean, Relaxing, great food
Great hotel, the staff are great. Extremely clean hotel, cleaning staff always cleaning. Rooms are big & clean. They do need more bartenders it took fair ever to get a drink. Beach is nice, cool, wavy, and tons of fish swimming by you. Don't rent the umbrellas on the beach, they do not belong to the hotel it's by locals and the charge $25 USD for one umbrella and 2 chairs just sit by the pool and walk down. Atlantis right beside you through the hotel to gamble and see the marina.
Memories Grand Bahama: Great Memories !!
If your looking for a place that isn't too classy but yet more like your on your own island shared with others, this is it!! My boyfriend and I went there this past April/14 and had a fabulous time. There were large pool areas fantastic food areas, one which really intrigued me was the Prop Club. Never have I been to an all-inclusive resort where you actually sit down and be served your order in the middle of the day, as if your at a paying restaurant. The food was burgers and fries etc., but it [... read more]
Sandals Emerald Bay: Fabulous Resort
Had a fantastic time. Felt out of place the first day as we were treated like Royalty. Food was exceptional, gardens were beautiful. Rooms were well maintained and very clean. Beach was huge, clean, water was a nice blue/green color and warm.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great Time
Food was excellent, our room was good. The resort was clean and the beach excellent. Right next to Atlantis which was good. Were able to go the Aquarium easily. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Sandals Royal Bahamian: A wonderful short break ...
For a 4 day weekend to get away from it all, this was a perfect location. Flight wasn't too long, pick up from the airport was simple and then just a relaxing time - everything is catered for you; food and drinks all terrific. Will definitely come back again
Breezes Bahamas: Mediocre food and Bed bugs
Would never return here. Ended up with about 20 bed bug bites, slept on the floor the last night instead of the bed. Other guests said they had the same problem. Also overrun with day guests that make the food lineups very long and the resort very crowded.
