Riu Reggae: Great resort!!
I have to say I am not an entertainment person but the entertainment here was amazing! Staff are incredible and so friendly. Every morning they come along and greet you on the beach and stop will stop by just to chat. As regards to the food; I would give them a 4 out of 5. The buffet was great and the steakhouse. I love Italian food but the Italian restaurant was horrible. Also there was another restaurant that was only opened once in the week we were there. Overall I would go back to this r [... read more]
Riu Emerald Bay: Breath taking long clean beach, you notice the very faithful RIU employees hard at work early a.m. and p.m.Peaceful, serene, many diversified families, security presence
Immaculate, clean, rooms/beds get cleaned everyday, friendly/helpful staff at Riu, grounds are immaculate, surrounded by nature, overall very clean, many activities happening during the day and night, never a dull moment, buzz everywhere
Riu Republica: RIU Republica hotel DR
The hotel and the rooms looked OK. I would say about four stars. The food was three stars. The customer service was two stars. I never got coffee cups or glasses in my room. The coffee maker was broken. They never attended our needs and a room whenever we call, nobody picked up the phone people working there expected tips all the time there was no smile on their faces. Customer service and friendliness of the staff was at one star.
Riu Negril: Very nice ressort
Everything is perfect the ground the beach the room and specifically the staff that are very nice and smiling the entire time we were there I would highly recommend this resort for anybody looking to disconnect.
Riu Playa Blanca: Did not disappoint
The resort is beautiful. The people are very friendly. It has a relaxed atmosphere with nightly entertainment for children at 8 pm and adults at 9 pm. A really good variety of food is offered (although at times it is cold) and many, many alcoholic drinks. The fridge in the room is filled every other day with cans of pop, bottled water and beer and there are four bottles of liquor in the room for your use. The resort has two a la carte restaurants. There are many activities around the pools [... read more]
Riu Ocho Rios: Beautiful beach
Beach is so nice with amazing views from throughout the resort, soft sand, warm blue water Rooms are adequate, no frills Service is on par with what one would expect in Jamaica, some good, some can't be bothered Buffet is similar to food court food
Riu Reggae: Fantastic resort!!
This was my first time to Jamaica so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. First of all, Jamaica is amazing, the resort was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and all gave amazing service. The entertainment staff were so good and were friendly and very talented! The food at the resort was great, so many options and very delicious. The hotel also had so many drink options both alcohol and non-alcoholic, so there was something for everyone. There were no bugs (mosquitoes and flies [... read more]
Riu Republica: Great Resort in a wonderful Country, this place is party central
Riu Republica is a good resort which will meet the needs of most travellers. This resort is not on the glitzy side, rather on the practical side. The food is good in the main buffet and also good in the Specialty Restaurants. I had the Italian 5 nights in a row, because the lasagna and beef tenderloin were next level. The beach is good, and the seaweed is under control compared to other resorts along the stretch. The room is good and in practical. The tv had many options in English. The mini bar [... read more]
Riu Playa Blanca: Great Resort
It was our second time staying at this resort we had a great time no complaints it was close to the airport Staff very helpful food was great the drinks were good never had to wait long for a drink at any bar
Riu Playa Blanca: BEST RESORT I’VE VISITED
I dont know where to start. This resort is amazing. Panama in general is amazing. The resort staff were all so lovely and accommodating while the food and drinks were on par! The sunwing representative Christian was amazing from the beginning and ensured we had everything we needed. The excursion to anton valley was much recommended! All in all 5/5 resort and experience
Riu Palace Costa Rica: An amazing resort & vacation
I adored this hotel and the grounds. The workers are so friendly and hardworking. The food was good and had a wide selection of different choices daily. Plenty of activities throughout the day & evening. Room was perfect. Views were amazing. I loved the beach and area around the resort. So much to do in and around the resort to keep you busy. I would go back for sure! Unreal experience!
Riu Palace Antillas: Amazing Resort
We stayed at the Riu for a glorious week vacation with my 83 year old mom and a friend. I can honestly say we wanted for nothing. Right from the time we arrived the staff were out of this world. They went on and beyond to make sure all our needs as guests were taken care of. The food at this resort was amazing and there isn't anything you would want for. The steakhouse and Italian at night were our favorite. The constant cleaning was ongoing throughout the hotel. It was spotless. Hats off [... read more]
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Fantastic Stay......Great Resort
The Hotel is definitely 5 star. The staff is very helpful and their service is great. I would highly recommend the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas to anyone and everyone......!! Close proximity to town if you want to shop. Lots of activities in the resort and surrounding areas.
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: 5 stars
5 stars all around. Comfy beds, no issues with AC, beautiful location, amazing staff, awesome food, warm pool and cold drinks. No issues other than the plug beside our bed wasn’t working properly. Highly recommend.
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Top Resort
This is one of the best resorts we have been to for sure . The constant cleaning and sweeping keeps the grounds exceptionally clean. The food was top notch , the buffet was simply excellent, wide variety of meats , Fish, tons of fruits salads and veggies , and local food as well. The Infinity Pools were relaxing , and fun as well as the water workouts were “just enough†on vacation. Due to the size it’s lots of walking and stairs . It’s not a swim in the Ocean vacation at its “must obs [... read more]
Riu Reggae: Very good resort
This was my first time at the Riu and the Riu Reggae was very good. The service was good, lots of different variety for food and being vegetarian there was a lot to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable. Beds changed every day. The resort is not big so everything is great walking distance including to the beach. Beach had seaweed in some area but overall it was great.
Riu Guanacaste: Beautiful resort
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained.Rooms are a little dated but spacious and clean. Fridge was filled every other day. Recommend the jungle side if you love waking up to birds and monkeys! Food was always good with lots of options.Buffet was just as good if not better than the other restaurants. Huge line ups for restaurants as well, get there early if you want to get in.Beach is amazing and if you get up early enough you will see monkeys on the beach. Please go see the turt [... read more]
Riu Flamingos: Wonderful resort
The Riu is my go to hotel chain in Mexico and this is my third stay at the Jalisco. It is definitely a 4+ star hotel and I love the staff, the service, and the wide selection of fresh food (and especially sea food). It is ideal for families! Just a couple of suggestions however. 1. The coffee needs improvement! I would rate it 1 out 5 stars. It tastes burnt and recycled. The best coffee is found in the sports bar. Can we also have a return of “non-dairy coffee creamer†in packets please. [... read more]
Riu Palace Costa Rica: Good place to de stress
My first visit to an all inclusive. I was not disappointed, the entertainment was good, the staff friendly, room well appointed and overall the food good. My only complaint would be that no reservations are taken for the speciality restaurants. You have to get in line well before scheduled opening time and hope that you get one of the two sittings available. The Japanese restaurant was below what I was expecting.
Riu Emerald Bay: Nice Resort
For the price we paid for this trip, it was a great value. The food could be better. Got tired of the same food over and over. My friend got sick in the last 3 days of the trip and is still sick and we have been home for 2 days now. Not sure if it was the food or drinks that caused it. We do question the ice (is it made from bottled water) and question when food is rinsed/washed, is bottled water used. Also is the food cooked in bottled water? The servers we had during our stay were fabulous. [... read more]
