Resonance Musique Varadero: Great for partying, good food, entertainment, poor service

Stayed for 14 days from May 20 till June 3. Sunny weather, no rain till the very last day, warm ocean. Food: best in my 7 times staying in Cuban resorts. Nice pastries, mango often, salmon once, chicken, turkey, beef liver, local fish almost same every day. Room: no hot water for 5 days. And then again for 2 days. Was offered different room but same issue there. The water was colder than in the ocean so not able to wash hair and take shower comfortably. They offered me late check out by 4 hour [... read more]s as a compensation. No mold smell in room, ac worked well. Was power outage at the resort once for about 2 hours. No toilet paper often in public washrooms and no soap. Service: waiters are slow, had to often wait to be seated at the table for about 10 min. then wait to get water. Each time eating ice cream had to ask for the spoon like those were treasures. Japanese restaurant was a great experience to see tricks the cook did by throwing up and catching cooking tools, of course, Philadelphia rolls were made of rice, papaya or mango with cucumber. Entertainment: retro music with best hits of all times played at the pool, rock night performance every Sunday, some karaoke nights, overall great. Just too loud if you are in building 38 or 39 facing the pool. I was told at the lobby upon checking in that the loud music is only till 6 pm. It is not! On average it started around 9 am and goes on till 11 pm. Once was on till 3 am. And then May 30-June 2 the local Cuban kids with money in their 20es arrived, a lot of them! To Celebrate the beginning of summer, carrying with them a sound bar and listening to their music loud without consideration of whoever is around them. They scream at the pool singing songs till 6 am, and ten till 3 am next day. Not sure when they sleep and how functioning. Next time I would pay like 20-50$ more and stay at the Blue side which is far from pool so much quieter rooms.

I got good room got everything good food was ok place was ok they run out off sugar is Cuba beach was 11 the bar on the beach was 11 towels lady was 11 the beach was excellent clean hotel but old nice

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Needs alot more variety of food

First time in the hotel ,not very impressed ,showers not working properly ,,either hot water and no cold water or vise of verse , Buffet no chicken all week , Only fish ,for people who have allergies to seafood not very good ,

Iberostar Coral Ensenachos: May 2025 Stay. 2 weeks

!This was our second stray at the Coral, last was late May early June 2024 first visit since Covid. We use to stay on the, then called Spar section, which was adults only, for 25 total visits The resort is showing its age but renovations are under way on selection side, slow and steady. ' We found the Coral section accommodation excellent, comfortable and roomy. with hot tub which was clean and heated. Service was great and Butlers and all staff very considerate and helpful to us, same as [... read more] other vacationers staying at the resort - I have Parkinson’s and use a wheeled walker and walking stick. . Any problems you inform the butlers, We had a noisy ceiling fan in bedroom when we arrived, and it was repaired the next morning. The food was good and plenty full, some limited shortages but nothing you couldn’t miss. You don’t go to: Cuba for the food, it’s good though. And we gain weight on our stays. The beaches are second too none with many palapa’s, one for every room on Coral section. The Coral is very quiet and relaxing just as we like it, no children under 14. The main entertainment is on the Selection side, shuttle service via mini bus, max wait 10min. Coral vacationers have complete access to all facilities on the selection side. Overall - great resort, that we call our second home, we will be back to the Coral, health dependant, to savour the friendliness all the staff, beaches, weather .and other vacationers you meet.

Booked a last minute trip to escape our weather at home. Blessed with great weather, friendly people and surprisingly good food and drinks , the beach was amazing. Hoping to return in the near future

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great beach - Dated Resort

The resort is huge to begin with and has two beaches - Megano and Ensenachos; both which were some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. We regularly saw thousands of fish, stingrays and even starfish - just beautiful. The beaches were very quiet and felt like we had lots of privacy and spaces from others - perfect for relaxing. For the resort it’s self, it’s huge and a bit outdated but I didn’t really mind I still thought it was very nice. In terms of our room it was very big and spacio [... read more]us although it had a bit of a dirty feeling to it. First of all, we saw two small cockroaches in the room and lots of small ants near the toilet. Secondly. The toilet did not work. We regularly had to play around with the pipe to get it to flush and this was quite troubling since we got food posinoning. Besides that the room had a great balcony with lots of room to unwind and relax. For the food; the three “a la carte” restaurants were closed for renovations so we had to choose between the snack bar and main buffet. The main buffet regularly had lots to choose from with different options each day - it was indoors and felt very clean. The snack bar….. not so much. The night we got there we saw a giant cockroach hanging around the kitchen and the staff didn’t do anything. There were regularly birds flying in or around the food and thousands of flies. So would recommend the main buffet over the snack bar. As for the service - all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had amazing experiences with all of the staff around the resort and the night time shows were extremely entertaining. Nonetheless, we had a great trip here to Cayo Ensenachos and will never forget how beautiful the beaches here are.

Sol Varadero Beach: Had fun..?

It was much better than I expected. The beach is amazing and the proximity to the shops and the beatles bar is a great plus. The food was good and the drinks were decent. The rooms were kept clean and the air-conditioning was working just enough to keep the room cool. It was overall a good choice. I would go back.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: No Return

14x to Cuba coackroach infested rooms lobby. Room change second floor storm came door unlocked wind blew all bugs in room works on bed. Pillow had works during the night still. Very unsettling. Food repeat everyday night. Stale bread buns.

Melia Varadero: Amazing family friendly resort , beautiful beach!

What can I say? The staff was beyond amazing and friendly, the resort was spotless and well appointed. Rooms- clean and air conditioned! Food- great selection (especially for CUBA) with extra things like condiments ! The A la cartes where pretty good but if you didn’t like it could always hit the buffet but be advised you need to get up very early (8 am on Saturday)to book your A la carte reservations for the week Kids club- our daughter was 14 months and too young to be left but the staff  [... read more]were amazing and she enjoyed playing there with other kids and the staff adored her. It’s a good safe place with AC and do different things for the kids everyday Entertainment- we only went to Cuban night on the Wednesday but it was so cool, great outdoor buffet, classic cars , professional dancers and performers ! The other nights was late for us 945 as we had the baby so I can’t comment Pools- we’re cleaned everyday and never a shortage of loungers around the pool THE BEACH- wow all I can say is so clean so beautiful and never a shortage of beach chairs ! And super accessible from the resort we could even walk our stroller directly down to the sand it’s approx a 2-3 min walk from the resort Things to note: bring your own travel cups and water bottle for drinks as the flimsy paper cups are annoying Bring lots of sunscreen And also bring. A little fan as well

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Always a good time at the Muthu

We were a group of 7 women. Three of us were repeat guests. Arrived early, so we parked ourselves in the lobby and enjoyed some beverages. Shortly there after our rooms were available. Our keys cards and info were delivered to our table by a lovely lady from the front desk. I personally did not see the inside of t [... read more]he buffet. The a la carte staff and snack bar staff are the best. The public bathrooms were clean and usually had toilet paper. The rooms were spotless, shower, toilet, fridge never had an issue. Water and beer replenished daily. We celebrated two birthdays and an anniversary while there. One of those birthdays was a 60th. They went above and beyond. Decorated our table are and presented the most delicious cake, turning down the lights while the staff and all us patrons sang happy birthday. Always going the extra mile. The sports bar had the NHL playoffs available to watch( the didn’t last year) but obviously acquired it knowing the Canadians wanted it. They had a Canada Day, poutine included. They had a beach party, they had the lobby set up for dinner. All these special themed events during low season. Their attention to detail shows in everything they do. It was a great holiday.

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Paradise

Very nice room, clean and fresh, VIP service is excellent, very friendly staff! Restorantes very nice, food fresh and yammy! Strongly recomend this hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!+!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: one of the best resorts

Hi, The Paradisus Princeca del Mar is very beautiful and wonderful resort. It has a beautiful and clear water at the beach and wonderful pool. People are friendly and kind. Room is very good and get clean every day.

Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort: Ok

I was very disappointed, when we checked out at 12pm, on June 01,2025 We had to leave our unlocked luggages in the room next to the reception counter with 2 security men while waiting for the bus to the airport at 6:40 ,when the bus arrived ,we went to get our unlocked luggages ,then got into the bus to the airport ,once we got to the airport,we open one of our carry on to get our jackets ,but surprisingly our jackets disappeared,no trace of it ,we were sure it got stollen at the Grand Aston  [... read more]hotel

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Amazing vacation

We love Iberostar Cuba This time we went together with our friends 8 people, and everyone loved. Isabella from customer service was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean , people were friendly and welcoming . Food was good except in the specialty restaurants. I don’t recommend to go to a restaurants.. But altogether we had a good time and planning to go again in December.

Valentin Cayo Cruz: Very beautiful resort

We were in this resort last year in August and we liked it so much we had to come back this year. We were there May 21-28, 2025 and we had such a great time, relaxing and having fun in the sun. From the check in to the check out went all smoothly. Everyone who works there makes us feel special, they were all very respectful and helped with anything we needed. Prepare with lots of toonies or bills of $5 to give as tip, everyone appreciates it, there is no bank or place to change, they take only C [... read more]anadian, no Cuban money. They had our room ready when we got there, very clean and spacious room, the air conditioner in our room was working for the first two days, but after it worked just a little bit, we called the front desk and they immediately send someone to help,us move our things to another room which the air conditioner worked, that was appreciated. The grounds were kept very nice. The beach very beautiful, cleaned every day. There was no shortage of beach chairs and there was always someone to help you get one and they even clean it for you. As everyone knows, there is a shortage of food in Cuba but there is always something to eat, even ice cream some of the days. They give you two small bottles of water in your fridge a day. I took my water bottle and got it filled every morning at the buffet with the wonderful ladies who work there with ice water. There are a lot of pools, we only went to 3 but I think there are five, they were very clean and big. We want to say thank you to More who keeps the pool area clean. We met Mijares and Reyfrank who work the grounds around the pool, such great people and very friendly. We want to thank them for their friendship. We will be back

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Girls Trip 2025

Best start to vacationing is a short bus ride to the resort after a long day of travel! The only thing I missed was those who couldn’t make the trip. Beach was beautiful. Staff was great. The things that could have been better were out of anyone’s control! Well done.

Clean grounds food was good. Hotel staff were very nice. Front desk extremely helpful. Had a great time will return. Beautiful beach and bar at beach. Bungalows are absolutely beautiful. My second time love it

The beach is beautiful, the rooms were very comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The resort is a nice size and very easy to get around other than the walk to the beach but it is sooo worth it once you are there.

Blau Varadero: Amazing rezort

We had amazing time for 14 days and I'm sure next year we will be back in Blau Varadero all personal in hotel was very nice, the beach every day clean, entertainment every night great, I would really recommend this hotel
