Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Great time!!

Had a fantastic time! Great place. The whole family had a fantastic time. My only issue was they booked my 12yr old and I into a King bed room and right by the Adults only side (4) and away from the rest of our family (all were in 9). At first I was told they couldn't change it but then I persisted and they moved us to at least two beds instead of 1.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Great Family vacation

Clean, organized, good food and excellent service. Rooms and bathroom was clean and spacious. Great staff throughout the resort, restaurants, pool and excursions. If you love walks on the beach and playing in the waves, this resort is NOT for you. The beach was the only disappointment, however we stayed by the pool, which was great. I’d say it’s a must visit resort in Riviera Maya!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Not great

Upon arrival they offered a reduced rate to upgrade to an 'Ocean View' room but it had no view do to a a 3/4 hight wall as barrier of the balcony and a huge palm tree blocking the view, we declined it, but the alternative was a mouldy and dirty room at ground level which we declined and finally stayed at the first room with no extra charge. They didn't have much entertainment or activities for kids, some staff were rude (at spa) others were nice (restaurants). Food was ok. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing time !

Aug 25-sept 1st 2018 /The resort was amazing , staff was fantastic! shows were very good , night time entertainment was so fun and they really show the crowd a great time.Spencer and sexy johnathan made the daytime entertainment so fun .... the food was soooooo amazing the ice was bagged 😁we went as a family of three no one got sick , beautiful resort I will be back ! Only One complaint ...... the beach was so rocky bring water shoes

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Relaxing time , Great resort

My husband and I stayed at this resort for one week August 17-24. Very hot and extremely humid but the ac in our room worked well so did the fan so no complaints in that regard. Our room was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Having stayed in Cuba and Punta Cana several times I would say this was the cleanest, however I found the service underwhelming. Drinks ,well drinks are always hit or miss at any inclusive I have been to. That’s why you have to really enjoy when you get one that is great because you may never ever have it again lol . Sometimes the drinks were watered down sometimes much too strong but eventually I always went back to the mojitoes. So refreshing so minty unlike Cuba I didn’t notice any bar that I went to out of anything that I wanted. The seaweed was a non issue for us it was cleaned daily and we were able to swim whenever we wanted. So many fish when swimming in the ocean . Sometimes schools of them would be around. Harmless and so beautiful. If you took bread in with you they would surround you. The nightly shows, yikes and yikes again. We went to the shows but if the entertainment team wasn’t trying so hard we would have left like many others did. But hey they had table service and popcorn so I had to drink somewhere lol why not there. The magic show was good Mexican folklore was good as well. all others well let’s just say the mojitoes really helped me enjoy the show lol . Hardly any mosquitoes but bring Bug spray as they did get worse asthe week wore on. No ac in the buffets or lobby but I am not going to a tropical place and complain about the heat. Lol I knew about the lack of ac before I booked but if staying cool is important to you all the time this is not the resort for you. The pool is huge, loved it. There is a place for everyone. We went to the disco that was air conditioned and it was fun it gives you something to do after 11pm 30 minutes from the airport but we only had one other couple in our shuttle.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Huge resort

Upon arrival, the Barcelo is very impressive. Well maintained and clean, and service at the desk is excellent. The room had one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. Much better value and beaches in Cuba. I doubt I'll return.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: First Class Resort

Rooms clean and modern, Food in all restaurants good, location excellent, service at the hotel was excellent. Entertainment mediocre. Beach beautiful when seaweed is not there. Bar service very good. Long Bus ride from airport 1.5 hours.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Memorable vacation

Hotel is old but clean...it makes up with the excellent service, beautiful beach area, delicious amazing restaurants Staff is so friendly and attentive ....they made our stay a memorable one........

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful Resort!

My husband and my 9 year old son really enjoyed our time at the resort. The place was grand and the customer service was fantastic. The drinks were amazing, I highly recommend the mojitos. We loved the size of the place and the variety of places to go, such as the variety of restaurants and the access to all spots inside the resort. The beach was a little rocky in places, but there was always chairs available on the beach. The rooms were quite big and well kept. The only complaint I had was the food. I was very disappointed in the food. They had a theme every night and one night was seafood night. They had a mountain of over cooked lobster. It was terrible. Some nights the food was better but the snack bars were usually hot dogs and fries. The restaurants we made reservations at were much better and the service was great.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Anazing resort?

My boyfriend and I had spent 7 days here at the Sian Ka’an Resort, and all I can say is it was a 7 days well spent!!! The food and service from all the workers was truly awesome, nothing but smiles on not only ours but everyone’s face’s. Not a single moment had we been disappointed, every minute, every bite, and every sip from our drinks was PARADISE. Shuttle Cars every 10 minutes, to and from the beach/other parts of the resort. Live Performances at night, and it’s next to impossible to not have such an amazing time here. The Animation Team here are honestly just a Bunch of Beauties, I hope to see you all our next time around come December. Organizing games by the pool and bringing us all into a group of loving and happy tourists! Delmar, Diego, Edler, Ricardo, Julio, Gabby and Sadie... Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing staff

Amaizing staff, they made our stay! Especially Lily, Yuliana, Uziel, Kevin, and Salvador. They made the place seem like Home and their energy and happiness was contagious. We will definitely be coming back! I loved going to every activity they held and they made me become a very outgoing person willing to try new things

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Beautiful resort

Everything about the resort was top notch and beautiful. The room was big and always made so clean my the workers. You can never get tired of the food at the main buffet, and there are many other restaurants around to keep things different. The staff is also very friendly. I recommend staying at the adults only section because there are always special events being held in the pool. Only disappointment was their poor selection of beers

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Beautiful Resort

We spent a week in late August in this resort. It's a very good size, not so huge that you need to walk 5-10 min to get from your room to the pools and not so small and cramped. Everything is very accessible. Staff are extremely friendly and professional. Food at the buffet restaurant is very good but can be a little more flavorful. They are constantly cleaning and maintaining the resort. Beach is very close and no shortage of chairs. There are some pool activities everyday. Public transportatio [... read more]n(bus) stops in front of the resort and takes you to the shopping center in 10-15 min. fare is $1.00 US. If you have Mexican Pesos is less. Buses are very frequent and safe. I recommend you to go to the mall in evening because it's an outdoor center and gets really hot in day time. They are open till 10:00 PM.All and all, I highly recommend this resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Love this resort

Beautiful resort, great food, amazing service, very friendly staff, very clean, very nice beach. We have been to Bahia Principe Akumal 8 times and always love going back, never boring, always so much fun. 😍

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Friendly Staff

Good value for the money. Nice pools, but water was a bit too warm. Beach was beautiful, but not swimmable. Preferred the buffet to the alacarte restaurant. Food quality was inconsistent in the alacarte. We had a room on the east wing of the hotel. LOTS of stairs and walking to get to different parts of the resort, even though it is a small resort. If you have any mobility challenges at all, you will need to request a room on the ground floor on the west side of the building. Our travel companio [... read more]ns moved because one of them found the stairs and long hallways too challenging. Once moved, it was quite manageable for them. Loved the friendly and helpful staff. Bus service to Jose de Cabo was quick and easy. All in all, we had a very pleasant vacation staying at the Decameron.

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort: Great Hotel and fantastic food

Location: 35mins from Cancun airport, a bit longer if there are other drops Resort: nice buildings all well maintained, clean rooms, well stocked with towels, shampoo etc. in room safe, flat screen tv, A/c fan, pull out double murphy bed, big balcony, very good water pressure in rooms for showers, no issues at all. Get Ocean view rooms, we were in block 12, get 2nd floor and higher, there are elevators in each block. Good room services, quick. Good service at pools and beach for drinks, Pool is open till 10pm, that’s a bonus, Shows: Fantastic! Each one is better than the next. Favorite was Retro 80’s. Beach: Lots of outdoor showers all over, hamocks, beach chairs, shade etc, Very good Spa and gym for those requiring a work out. Pools/Jacuzzi: there are so many to chose from, kids love the slides and jumping from the top. Lots of chairs and shade, good pool bar. Many pool activities to keep everyone busy. Very nice kids club, lots of table tennis tables all around the resort. Dolphin place: just a short 5 mins walk, can swim with them at a cost. Cons: Beach has rocks, not good for kids or if no water shoes. Very disappointed that we didn’t go in the ocean as we normally do. Wifi- would be nice to have complimentary wifi in the lobby. Heard that paid wifi was not that good. Overall very good, would highly recommend for everyone.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing Family Resort!!!

My son and I loved this resort!!! It’s super kid friendly and we met up there with Mexican family and they loved it too!!! We would all meet there again!!! The food was really accessible and tasty! The staff was lovely!! We gave our maid a few Canadian treats and she went above and beyond for us!!!! So a special thank you to our maid , Ana Luisa!!!!

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort

We had an amazing time at Now Sapphire. We had amazing interactions with the staff, good food and the smaller resort size made for an excellent vacation! We attended a wedding at the resort and it was beautiful and well organized.

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Fantastic beach

Dreams is a beautiful property situated on one of the nicest beaches on Banderasa Bay and Julio, our beach waiter, is one of the best waiters ever. Check in was smooth, but there were a couple of anomalies with our stay. We were in the Ocean View tower, but only one elevator was working, which meant long waits, luckily we were on the 3rd floor so we could use the stairs. We had really good food for the most part, but one day the Barefoot Grill and Oceana were both closed at lunch (somethng wron [... read more]g in the kitchen) so we went to the buffet. But the buffet was almost completely lacking in food - no taco station, no fresh veggies for the pasta station, no bread, no cold cuts - basically you could have a lettuce salad and pasta with plain sauce. Luckily the issue in the kitchen was resolved and we were able to get a hamburger form the Barefoot Grill. But, overall our vacation was fabulous and the food at Portofino was divine. Our room was good, but I think its time they got rid of the jacuzzi tub on the deck and the giant bathtub in the room. Air conditioning worked great - which is always a plus. The staff we dealt with were all very helpful. All of the beach waiters were really good, never had to wait very long for a drink but our checkout was a bit of a trainwreck - only one clerk to check out way too many guests. But yes I would go back - mainly because the beach is so beautiful - soft golden sand, no rocks, gentle slope into the water so the waves weren't too powerful. Spent all our time on the beach and could always get a lounge chair under a palapa - rest, relax, read - take a dip in the ocean then into the pool to wash off the salt and back to the lounger. Doesn't get much better than that.

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: Amazing Resort

Everything is special at grand and it is love at first sight! I was looking for a beach vacation after 2 years and that was very disappointing and no one mentioned anything at Trip Central about the beach! That was heart breaking and disgusting with those sea weeds and the smell.
