Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: TOTTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Overall this resort is UNACCEPTABLE in ALL areas and should not be recommended by any travel company! We have travelled all through the Carribbean so regardless of how good a deal you get it is not worth your money!! As we speak we filed a major complaint letter about this resort and are seeking a full refund from the vendor.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Very Nice

We enjoyed our stay at the Riu, location was great as it is right beside Atlantis so walking distance for evening walks. No shortage of food with all of variety, everything was very tasty. Rooms and Lobby were very clean. Bed was very comfortable

Memories Grand Bahama: Memories Grand Bahamas

excellent resort, will stay again, only complaint we have is most of the buffet food was cold, nice pool, beach, Prop Club food was great and hot, Steak House was amazing, staff were very friendly, Marcus (waiter) was special, and Admiral (entertainment)was very nice to us. Also nightly shows could show improvement. Maybe theme style buffet like mexican night, carribean night etc.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Nice place, needs face lift

Overall good experience, good service and staff is welcoming. Rooms need a face lift, water was not coming up often (we where staying on the last floor) it was a problematic to take a shower or flush a toilet at pick time. Elevator to the last floor you have to wait and wait....Does are the only minuses. Food was delicious, great choices, restaurants where open long hours. The Royal at Atlantis: Beautiful resort--wonderful people!

My husband and I came to Atlantis for our honeymoon in June and had a wonderful time. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the people were so welcoming and friendly. So much to do and see!! Bobby Flay's restaurant was fabulous! And the marina is w great place to stroll and people-watch at night. We loved it and can't wait to come back!

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Worst Hotel Ever

Do not go here. The staff are not friendly, the food is terrible , the rooms are old and we had a cockroach in our room. Our room flooded. No locks on the balcony door. Our safe was tampered with. They run out of bowls and silverware in the dining room and you have to wait around and ask several unfriendly staff before they bring you one. You have to wait in a long line up for bacon in the omelette line up even though you don't want an omelette. Pop and juices are so badly watered down they tast [... read more]e grosse! Entertainment is very poor . Air conditioner in rooms are lousy and noisy and ours didn't work half the time. No sense calling customer service desk to complain nothing will get done. Will never go back or recommend this resort to anyone ! Do not waste your time or money going here!!!!!

Memories Grand Bahama: Fabulous Resort

Food was very tasty. Lots of variety on the buffet, and they will cook you a steak, hotdog or hamburger if it is not on the grill already. Overall staff were very friendly; one or two bartenders that need customer service training. Room is older, but clean and towels, supplies, mini-bar maintained daily Air conditioning in the room works very well, so sleeping at night was not a problem. Beach is very nice, and lots to do: parasailing, banana boat, jet skis Vendors on the beach, but they are not [... read more] pests; you have to approach them if you want something. Negatives: spa for massages at next hotel. It is a 15-minute walk, and no shuttle provided. Upgraded to Diamond Club, and didn't think it was worth the money for what you got.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Good resort

The first night of my visit I woke up to dirty tap water running from the taps, apparently the hotel was conducting work on the pipes, after I reported it they sent up a maintenance guy who couldn't get the water to run clear so they exchanged my room. The hotel grounds was rather small but the beach and food was good. The room was modern and the staff friendly. I had an overall good experience there.

Breezes Bahamas: Great Getaway from the Everyday!

The beach is beautiful, white sand, blue ocean the vista of cruise ships. Quite magical ! The staff were friendly and always helpful and made you feel welcome. The food was good with a variety of restaurants and food choices. The atmosphere was welcoming from the beginning of the visit with a welcome beverage to making sure you had what you need to enjoy your time.

Memories Grand Bahama: Bad Memories, never again

Stayed there with my family in march, hoping to celebrate my 40th birthday in a great 5 star hotel. This place is about 2.5 - 3 stars at best. Small rooms, horrible hiusekeeping, the tiniest bathroom i have ever seen. Food is basic to blah. The AC in the room was ooooold an loud, they moved us in to another room which was ... Melia Nassau Beach Resort: A good time!!

I came to this resort in March 2014, and didn't do all-inclusive. There are two Starbucks on site, as well as a deli where you can get breakfast and lunch. I am glad I decided not to do all inclusive since it gave me the chance to explore the island and try local restaurants. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I would definitely come back!

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: excellent stay

hotel was well kept but showing it's age. food was excellent, but could have more restaurants to choose from. best beach on island. needs more variety of nightly entertainment. staff was friendly and helpful. a must is to have an all inclusive stay, as prices for food and drinks very expensive.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Great resort!

This is our second time there and we had a fantastic time again. The service is friendly and prompt. Food is good as well. If possible try and reserve some restaurants when you first arrive as they fill up quickly. Definitely worth going a couple of times. The beach is phenomenal! Water is always amazing! Also worth going to the private island and checking out that beach for the day.

Warwick Paradise Island: Amazing resort!!

Food was delicious! Rooms were decent, the renovated rooms are amazing! The private beach was perfect for those with kids. And a short walk to the other beach if you wanted more of a party atmosphere. Staff was terrific! Will definetly go back!

Breezes Bahamas: Watch your belongings

Good food and great beach, but we had money stolen from our SAFE (our locked safe!!!). $200 was taken from us, we reported to the security and we were informed things would be taken care of.... And nothing happened!

Memories Grand Bahama: Nice resort

This resort beautiful. It is small which is nice for for people with families. We traveled with 2 small children it was nice to be able to run up to our room whenever we needed to. The beach was beautiful. Pool was great. The fun zone for the kids was amazing. It was a great water park that even parents could enjoy. The food was good no complaints with that. I would have liked to have been able to make reservations. It would have been helpful with 2 children waiting. The Japanese restaurant was nice, good food nice place. Dinner show was good. The rooms were small. But kept well. I believe the resort used to be a hotel so the age of the building shows. Not all of the rooms have balconies so if this bothers you make sure you get at ocean view room. There were many complications with everyone's reservations on the day that we checked in. Many people were given the wrong rooms and were very upset. We were told we would have a balcony but in the end were not given one. I had to be persistent in changing my room. Thankfully we were changed the next day. We were told we could have early check in of 1:00 pm because of the kids but they didn't follow through with that. There was no crib in the room as requested so we followed up on that. The staff were amazing some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. So helpful, kind and caring. I know this resort opened in January so given some time they will be able to iron out the small kinks.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: 2nd time in 6 months

We went back to this resort, as the first time, was good, & we thought to try it again. Good thing about the resort, the beach is the best asset, the rooms are tired and are in need up updating but they are clean, the food is very cafeteria style with somewhat good variety, but definately a self serve atmostphere, the late night pizza is great(opens at 10:00pm), the staff you have to give them two thumbs up, as they work very hard all day and night long. The bar at the beach is good but could be [... read more] better with more staffing. Checking is was no problem as stated by other guests, but I am a patient person. My main complaint is the off resort beach sellers, namely Shelley... she and her friends can be somewhat very annoying with their bickering and yelling between tthemselves... we had to get security and the police involved to quiet them down. Night life they do have the show, but they do not have any casino here, and to travel to on costs approx $15.00 one way for two... I would probably go back again, but I would not take my kids there as I feel the beach area is very upsetting at times, with all the yelling and screaming going on. And just in generally I think they is not enought for them to do.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Fantastic time!

We absolutely loved our stay, our room faced the beautiful beach front and white sands, great food, staff friendlily and helpful, we are looking forward to coming back soon and spending more time at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach!

Memories Grand Bahama: Nice Complex

Beautiful grounds,nice rooms (once you get checked in) very clean, staff very friendly however service was intermit ant... we booked for Royal service and were a party of 8,,, some of us received this service and some did not. This hotel either needs more housekeeping staff or a new computer system...check in was a nightmare! My husbands jacket went missing from the luggage storage area???and it was never found...Staff tried very hard to find it..We had to go and buy a new one in order to come h [... read more]ome to very cold weather. We had to line up for the steak house and there was no reservations allowed... this did not make sense as there was lots of room and staff. Overall we had a decent vacation however would we return to this complex??????

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing resort!

The Riu Paradise Island was all we expected and more. The food as amazing, the beach was beautiful, and the service was friendly. Being able to walk next door to check out the Paradise Island Atlantis resort was cool too. We saw Michael Douglas at the marina there!
