Grand Sens Cancun: Great first time experience

Amazing restaurants,very clean and spacious resort from rooms,grounds and restaurants.Employees were polite and very professional. Overall only issue was poor elevators.Rather inconsistent service on most days.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Exactly what we needed

All the amenities, clean, good food and amazing staff. Perfect 5 day getaway. The beach is beautiful. Quick access from the airport. The restaurants never has a wait and check in and out was a breeze.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Amazing resort; 100% recommend!

The hotel itself was extremely clean, and the staff was very welcoming. Overall, if you're young and like to party, then Grand Oasis Cancun is your best choice. We will definitely be coming back again!

Occidental Tucancun: Amazing experience!

The resort was great overall! Me and the 9 others that I was traveling with had a great experience with the food and service on the resort. The staff was wonderful, the bartenders took care of us and made sure we had an unforgettable experience, especially with Ismael and Max who catered to our needs all week long and made sure we were well hydrated and content!

Atelier Playa Mujeres: Beautiful 5 star resort

From start to finish this resort has it all. Great food/drinks, rooms are stunning with the latest amenities. The beach in this area of Mexico is one of the nicest and is quite secluded. The security surrounding the entire peninsula is like nothing we've ever experienced. No local traffic to any of the resorts, only guests. Would return in a minute. This is now our favorite destination in Mexico.

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Great Resort

This resort is beautiful, grounds, rooms, food and beach are excellent. If you want a wonderful beach and gorgeous water this resort has it. Food at all restaurants are delicious, didn’t have one bad meal. Staff go out of their way to help you and make your vacation relaxing and enjoyable.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Incredible Vacation

The Riu Palace Costa Mujeres is sheer perfection! Check-in, service, rooms, cleanliness, food, beach and pools were amazing. We loved every minute. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were very impressed by the extreme cleanliness of the resort. We have never seen or eaten such delicious food on vacation, there were so many choices, something for everyone. The entertainment staff were so energetic and never stopped. Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Amazing time at the RIU Palace Costa Mujeres

This is our second time that we visit a RIU Palace and I must say that they are fantastic. The staff are so attentive and they are constantly working with a smile on their face to keep their guests feeling so special. The food so flavorful, the buffet has so many selections that anyone is bound to find something that you like. The beach and pools were great, and the bar staff made sure that your drink was always fresh. Great time at the Palace

NYX Hotel Cancun: Wonderful experience!

I can’t say enough about this small hideaway in the hotel zone in Cancun! The ocean front view room we upgraded to was well worth it! The beach was gorgeous! This was our 6th trip to the area and was our first visit to the NYX resort and would definitely go back! This was also our first experiencing a small resort and fell in love with the intimacy of it! With only 138 rooms we got to know guests and staff better than on the bigger resorts! This resort was recently bought and while we  [... read more]were checking out brand new Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress’ were being delivered to all the rooms and all new beach lounge chairs are coming! Can’t wait to go back to that! The hotel is within walking distance to amazing shopping, entertainment and restaurants and across the street from the Lagoon side. We had an incredible 2 week vacation and thank Julie Bond from Trip Central for helping us book a great holiday! Don’t hesitate to book your holiday at NYX, you won’t be disappointed. The food, drinks, and service was incredible and the staff are top notch!

Grand Sens Cancun: Overall... very nice

This was the first all adult resort we have visited. I was not sure what to expect. The VERY LOUD music every afternoon for the first week there was HORRIBLE. I assume this party atmosphere was for university students visiting during "reading week" in Canada.The next week was tamer around the pool. The food was excellent. The coffee shop great to get your espresso in the morning wonderful! The late night entertainment very well done. The room clean. The lobby had the most wonderful aromatherapy. [... read more] I did not access any of the spa services. The staff were friendly and warm. I feel there was a LACK of physical activity opportunity for guests. Yoga at 8 AM the ONLY offering of activity. There should be more ways for people to MOVE at least a little. Lying on the beach or around the pool every day all day gets old even for the 60's age group. I MISSED live music. It was all recorded unless you went to the late night show offered at 2200 hrs several nights/week. Mexico has amazing music and I was sorry to not hear some local talent and Latin rhythms. The beach was very lovely-(on the calm side of the Hotel Zone).

Haven Riviera Cancun: Exceptionnal Adult Resort !

What an amazing week at this wonderful Adult only resort !! Our hats go to the staff, especially Marilu, our pool server, who has exceptional and amazing customer service towards us throughout the week. Our luxurious big room with a full fridge and pull down service and outside whirlpool on our balcony, really made you feel welcomed and special. We truly appreciated and enjoyed the nightly entertainment at the Moons, exceptional talent !! NYX Hotel Cancun: Great small resort

Small resort with beautiful beach, good food, nice rooms. You can get lunch delivered to you at the beach! Japanese restaurant was really great. Bed was hard, but manageable. No big show at night, but a live band that was good, although repetitive after a few nights. Have to wake up at 6am and save your beach chairs if you want a good spot or to sit with a larger group.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Outstanding!!!

This Hotel has it all. Location, beach, perfect hotel layout configuration from the lobby, to the rooms, to the pools and the beach. Restaurants are centrally located as well. Lots of area for walking on the beach and around the complex. The ultimate with this hotel is the service!...great entertainment as well.

Great resort well laid out staff are great top notch bar tenders and great selection of drinks food was good lots of choices and the spa was amazing and free for general use only draw back for me is it is 45 min from down town Cancun

Smart Cancun By Oasis: Pleasantly Surprised :)

Very clean and well maintained hotel, pool is gorgeous with good live music in the evenings, a very central location close to the ADO bus station, Mercado 23, Mercado 28, Parque de las Palapas, grocery stores, restaurants, and more! Also a good breakfast buffet and excellent espresso based coffees to purchase. House Cleaning Services were also very good. No complaints at all!

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Not a 5 *

This Hotel was recommended by TripCentral staff. I do not recommend this hotel. It has opened before it is ready. I expect your room to be furnished? I expect a butler if I purchased it; I expect all of the things outlined how about hot water? Hangers; bathtub stop; locking doors; restaurants to be fully open; a map; phone or wifi functional; a website you have to register to be in english not spanish only; room cleaning; stock the fridge; shall I go on about the nuisances?

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Great vacation!

We have just returned from a one-week stay at the Vine, and had an amazing week. We did not book with Preferred Club for this stay as those rooms are on the higher floors in this high rise and I don’t like heights. Our request for a low floor was accommodated, complete with ocean view. The floor numbers are a bit confusing. The lobby doesn’t have a floor number, so think of it as zero (like in Europe) with the floor above it as one. But they like four digit room numbers so they add an  [... read more]extra zero and call that the 10th floor. ( In other words, the second floor is 10. ) The Preferred Club pool and three of the restaurants (Grill, Italian and Mediterranean) are on 12, which is actually the fourth floor. This is a “no dinner reservation needed” resort, so it’s good to check in with your preferred choice before you go for that pre-dinner drink and grab a pager. All of the restaurants were excellent, including the three above, the Asian in the lobby, and the seafood restaurant near the pool/beach. The buffet has a great selection for breakfast and lunch, and turns into a Mexican a la carte for dinner, which we didn’t try. Overall service was excellent with just a couple of glitches — had to get our own coffee one morning at buffet and one lunch at Sea Salt Grill was overly long — both due to staff shortages. But these were blips compared to the excellent service we received all week. Vladimir at Olio (Mediterranean) was our favourite waiter. The three pools were all clean (and warm). Towels are plentiful. There is not a swim-up bar but there are two bars on either side of the two ocean-front pools. Service was very attentive at the pools and the beach. The beach here is very spacious, nice white sand, no seaweed during our stay - definitely nicer than what we have experienced at several resorts between here and Playa Del Carmen. But it was super windy during our stay and rough water for swimming. There was the usual towel game among those who wanted to be beside a bar or the jacuzzi or in one of the Bali beds, but there were always loungers available somewhere. There is no smoking at the pools but the designated areas are easily accessible - the Vine outdoor bar off the lobby, the beach, and sofas along the walkway (a few steps up from the pools) that connect the lobby to the beach. No smoking on balconies. Our room was clean and spacious, with a large balcony. The minibar includes beer and soft drinks but no spirits or wine. There were separate his and hers sinks, which was nice, but no countertop space for a makeup bag, etc. A great hairdryer but the only place to plug it in with a mirror was in the bathroom, away from the AC vent. The bathroom setup is not for the shy ... a glassed in toilet which might as well not have had a door lol. Check in and check out was smooth. We declined the club sales presentation and this was accepted graciously ... after a few good tries. Overall, we would recommend this resort. It is good value for your dollar.

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Beautiful 5 Star Resort

This was my first time booking an all-inclusive resort and I’ve never been happier. It’s brand new grounds were so beautiful that it felt luxurious. My boyfriend and I only ate at the buffets (which we prefer over set-meals) and the chefs were amazing. We also loved the pool bartenders Nanguse + partner (can’t remember his name) and Dulce. We also loved the entertainment crew including David and Julio. My only complaint would be we would have to be at the beach or poolside early to get an  [... read more]umbrella (very limited).

Riu Palace Las Americas: Excellent Resort

I had a fabulous time the hotel was clean and beautiful the food was delightful both in the restaurants and The Buffet I would stay there again I enjoyed it very much I would recommend this place to my friends and family. I would return there again. Each of the individual restaurants have a different flavourAm I enjoyable to go to the service was great I enjoyed myself immensely

NYX Hotel Cancun: Amazing beach, excellent food, friendly staff! 5 Star!

Our group of 12 had a fantastic 1-week all-inclusive vacation at the NYX hotel. The food was delicious. Lunch and dinner were all made to order (order off the menu), the breakfast buffet was great. We definitely ate too much and all the staff were happy to keep bringing us food and drinks. Our favourites were the avocado stuffed with tuna, the fish & shrimp tacos, and the brownies for desert. Thank you Eddy at the pool bar for your friendly service. But especially thank you Rhuben and Eduardo for the big smiles and for making us feel welcome everyday! Mucho gracias! This trip will be tough to beat, I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend this place if the amenities meet your needs. For those who have not yet visited NYX Cancun, here are somethings I would've liked to have known about the resort: - It is a smaller resort with a lot of steps, this was no issue for any of us in the group - I saw all 6 rooms we booked, they were all vastly different sizes and layouts. None of them smelled or were unclean. Most were modern/updated. Some had elevators but most only had stairs. Our Master Suite was not updated but was large with a beautiful view. - The rooms have free safes - You get a bottle of water with housekeeping, but you can also ask for drinkable water at the bars and restaurants so we got our re-useables filled many many times - You can get snacks brought to you on the beach between snack hours! (11-5) - The main pool is the best, as it is in the sun most of the day and is nice and warm. The smaller pool is in the shade for most of the day and was very cold, we never saw anyone in it - The hot tubs were not hot, 1 day they were warm and the other days they were not heated. Didn’t bother us, we preferred the beach - The beach is beautiful and clean, I saw a tractor combing the NYX beach in the early morning - I dont think the hotel can be faulted for this because it happens everywhere but the beach chairs were always saved, and it was the general etiquette to let people keep their saved chairs. We woke up at 7:15am, 6:45am and 6:15am and these were almost not early enough to get chairs. Most people seem to get up at 5am to save chairs. The beach WOULD have plenty of shade for everyone actually at the beach at one time, but due to the save chairs in the shade where people are not present, it makes it seem like there are not enough shady spots. This was the only actual downside to our trip, but I personally can’t think of a solution for this so I don’t hold it against the hotel at all. - The hotel was very clean, the staff was very detail-oriented. The foot-washing faucet area was always being swept for sand, the glass balconies where squeegeed, the housekeeping service swept the floors and the balconies, the pool was closed off at night and cleaning chemicals added. - There is a mall a 10-minute walk away, and a market only a few bus stops away.
