Crown Paradise Golden: Another awesome stay

This is our 4th visit to this hotel and again they did not disappoint. This is an all adult resort attached to a family resort that we could also use for dinners etc. The staff here are wonderfully attentive. The beach area is great and the water is clean. We were there in November and the weather was hot and sunny. We enjoy this resort as it is easy and cheap to take the local bus into town.

Melia Puerto Vallarta: Great place to spend a week

The hotel was a quaint resort which I enjoyed. I loved the family atmosphere. I found a couple of the nights quite loud but not over bearing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As a single woman I was very comfortable at the Melia

Canto Del Sol: Nice resort

Our family of 7 including a 7 yr. Old stayed at CDS Nov 25 to Dec 2nd. Grounds, rooms, pools, restaurants were extremely clean. Not much of a beach but pretty views from our room. Food was excellent especially surf and turf and Italiian. Resort does fill up on weekends with Mexicans but did not affect service other than at breakfast. Long line ups. So go for breakfast at 7 and avoid it. Only one complaint. Big thanks to Francisco at quiet pool. A true gentleman and the hardest worker on the resort. He always kept our drinks refreshed. Kevin in guest services also a gem. Krystal Puerto Vallarta: This resort was great, the food was not!

The resort itself was beautiful, very manicured, the rooms (we stayed in the new tower) were beautiful, marble floors, luxurious bathroom, great beds, the 2 pools were good, the staff were really friendly and helpful but the food was really lacking compared to other 4 stars resorts. There wasn't much selection and it was repetitive and there wasn't much flavour. We quickly got sick of it and had to eat out the last few days. Velas Vallarta: Excellent older resort!!

Excellent Hotel location in Marina Vallarta surrounded by some of the best! Walking distance to Marina Restaurants,Shopping and Bars etc.. Nice Rooms but would recommend upgrading from Studio rooms if you require a patio and more space. Limited restaurants but excellent service throughout with top shelf liquor at all bars and impeccably manicured grounds. Grand Palladium Vallarta: Not a great resort.

Too many weddings I.e every night loud music blasting all night. Ala carte restaurants did not accept reservations resulting in long wait times. Staff were pleasant and polite. Rooms were clean but dated.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Lovely All Family Resort!

This resort answered all the needs for any member of the family from little ones to the aging gracefully ones - there was amenities and locations suited for everyone! Sun Surf and Sand! We are and will be repeat guests!

Canto Del Sol: Respectable Satisfactory Resort:

The hotel is a little older however this does not negate the impeccable cleanliness and care that is given to the grounds and common areas. I recommend the Italian and Mexican themed restaurant choices. The buffet and beach restaurant serve up an excellent selection of choices for breakfast and lunch. The pool area is very well maintained and the beach is adequate. Access to the beach is simple and walking either direction for some exercise is a pleasure, beach shoes are a good option. Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great Resort. Mediocre Food. Grumpy Staff

The layout and location were great for the kids. The water slide area and pools were excellent. The free access to surf boards, boogie boards and kids beach toys was an added bonus. The food was mediocre at best and there was not a buffet that was opened throughout the day, so snacks for the children between meals was difficult. Half the staff were friendly but much of the staff at the resort were surprisingly grumpy. For my next trip I will spend the extra cash and go to a Dreams/Secrets again.

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: A Wonderful Resort

This is one of the nicest resorts I have stayed at in western Mexico. The rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable; the restaurants in the resort provide a good selection of food in their menus; and the facility provides opportunities for a number of activities to keep you active so that you can enjoy the food and drink that all-inclusive resorts provide and not feel too guilty. Perhaps the most special thing about this resort was the people who work there. They work very hard to pro [... read more]vide their guests with excellent service, they make you feel that they are happy in what they do, and they do so with humour and great attention to their guests.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: EXCELLENT LOCATION

OUR FIRST WEEK WE WERE THERE WE THOUGHT THE STAFF WANTED TIPS BEFORE THEY EVEN SERVED YOU. THE SECOND WEEK STAFF WAS MUCH MORE FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND FOOD WAS ALL RIGHT. .

Canto Del Sol: Popular resort

Our stay was mostly enjoyable however it was very busy and very noisy. The resort was kept very clean for amount of families there. The rooms were fairly nice except we only had a dribble of water for a shower and never knew if you were going to get hot or cold water. The food was good. Basically the same all the time. We weren't aware of a Mexican holiday with so many children out of school. They definitely took over.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Loved this resort!

We were guests of the Hyatt Ziva from November 13 - 20, 2019. We stayed in a swim-out suite in the Club Tower. Our room was beautiful. Although we quickly realized the pool and patio didn't get sun until about 3pm, we appreciated the other pools until then. The sunsets were spectacular. Hearing the ocean surf crashing was amazing. The level of customer service was above and beyond. Our pool was quite cool, so I mentioned it to the concierge. The next day, it was very comfortable! Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Resort is truly only a 3 star resort.

We arrived late on November 23, 2019 and instantly realized that we were receiving an inferior room and that the people at the front desk could not speak adequate English.Our Transat tour operator guide(Jorge Garcia) was truly uninterested in assisting us with information about the Royal Decameron Complex. He gave us zero paperwork and zero attention.We were never given return shuttle bus info for Nov 23 from Jorge Garcia. Awful, awful, awful food, especially at the restaurants.We are NOT fussy eaters, but this resort has really gone downhill since last we were there. We went on no trips at all, except to the Puerto Vallarta Mercado, which was also terrible. No Mexicans seemed to want to deal on their prices at all. We were not treated well, not fed well,prices in and around Vallarta are way over priced now, because of the cruise ships.We have TRULY been disappointed for the last time in Puerto Vallarta and will never return. I hope that our story is not indicative of others that Trip Central has sent people to vacation at. The Royal Decameron resorts(We were told) have all been recently purchased by the country of Colombia.It seems to be operated as poorly as the Colombian Government(Third rate). Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Was great activities. Great staff .. . However food and other things could be reviewed

Overall I was pretty happy with the resort. There were a few things that stuck out that I was not happy with. 1. Housekeeping was not done on a daily basis. I was told that to leave tips so I would get better service for housekeeping, I am a single Grandma who had a nephew and Grandson with her I was saving money for excursions and other local vendors. I felt that I should not have to tip the housekeeping it is all inclusive. There was times within the twelve days state, that we did not have our [... read more] beds or clean towels or even a housekeeper enter the room. 2. Same as above for tipping, when going to the restaurants, even if it was Buffet. I tip a few times, but try to save money for excursions and vendors for souvenirs. When we did not tip our faces were recognized, well at least this is what I felt, that the service was not there. There was a few times that we had to wait for a drink of water for well over a half hour, and the place was not busy. or even to be greeted. 3. The food was repetitive even throughout the separate buffets. However there was days for special events. Such as Mexican, international,. Overall the food was pretty good. 4. The staff were immensely friendly and professional, 5. Lots of pools, lots of beach space, not overcrowded, great events throughout the day. 6. Very central location, could walk down to Market, walked uptown to bank, walk Uptown to grocery store, and short cab trips or Shuttle trips to excursions. 7. Transat representatives were not clear on Excursion cost. I'm not sure if this was a communication barrier, or not all information was divulged prior to paying in full. With sign up and pay for the Excursion. And then was told had to pay for a cab anything over three people, and other fees such as porting and ecetera. it was explained to us when we went to the Royal swim with the dolphins and the zip lining and water slides that we would have free food and beverages. This was not the case. Only adults received coupons for free food and beverage, as children under 12 were free, lucky we had money on us to buy food and beverages. In addition we are also lucky we had money on us because we were told we could have the cab ride home for free because we paid the first one going there but this was not the case they would only take three people and then they'd have to give us another taxi in which we had to pay. 8. The shows were Grande, always something new entertainment kept you on the edge of your seat had you got laughing. 9. Very well cultured Gardens and area well-groomed and clean grounds. 10. Overall I would provide the stay a 7 out of 10

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Third time going back to RDC

We stayed Oceanfront. The A/C needs to be updated but they did give us a fan to help us sleep. The room was clean and well maintained during our stay. Checking in was quick and some helped us take our luggage to our room. The food was good but the bacon needed to be a bit more Cooked. We eat at all the restaurants and the best was the Rodizeo this time. We loved eating at the piccolo that was another good time since we eat there 3 times. Loved the lady making my sandwiches. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great place, lots of variety, close to Bucerias

Blocl 1' oceanfront was great location. Food was good, room was clean, plenty of choive in pools. Limimg up at 7 am to book an a la carte restaurant was no fun. Bring pesos for tipping. Internet kicks out after 30 min and to resign in again.

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Perfect vacation !!

Absolutley love this resort!! The service is impeccable.. every staff that we encountered were awesome super friendly and helpful. They get to know you by name and treat you like family. The rooms are clean and the food is great. A nice selection of food at all times of the day or night. I have no hesitation in recommending this resort!! I will return!!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Perfect getaway

I loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The resort itself was wonderfully upkept, its clear that the staff work relentlessly to provide thier travelers with a clean enviroment. The beach is exactly what you hope. Crave that moonlit romantic walk? It feels like you are on your own private beach. I honestly can't say enough positive things. Thank you!!

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Awesome Resort!

We arrived on Sunday Nov. 17th 2019. Westjet Vacations transported us directly to the Hyatt Ziva. We were Greeted by the front desk staff with "Welcome Home" followed by a glass of bubbling wine and a cool cloth to wash off our hands and face. Our check-in was quick and effortless. We were shown to our room along with our luggage. (this was done) The room was as requested, king-bed, A/C, bathroom and balcony. The grounds and swim-up pools were all very,very clean. The beach I believe is certainly one of the finest in Puerto Vallarta and a Federal life guard is on the beach every day. The food in the 5 restaurants make if very difficult deciding each meal time where you are going to dine that day. All the Staff are amazing and I can only say that I would love to have any one of them working for me, they make the resort. Thank You Hyatt Ziva....We will Return!
