Le Reve Hotel and Spa: Perfect Rest
I recently spent 4 nights at Le Reve Hotel and Spa with my husband and two kids age 8 & 5; It was just what we needed for our short getaway. The resort is small and quiet, The rooms were clean and comfy, the pool was great and had fantastic views of the ocean! The food at the restaurant and snack bar were fresh and tasty, lots of variety to please us all. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable!
Grand Sunset Princess: Great resort
The food was great and staying at the Platinum club made the experience more enjoyable this time round. Everything was more convenient ie transportation, close to the beach, private pool.It was great.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: 40th Birthday
Clean, great food, welcoming staff. I had a blast! Entertainment staff kept the party going! Shows in the theatre we’re awesome! Great place for families and adults. Definitely going back ASAP! Huge resort with lots to do, even in a budget.
Riu Flamingos: Friendly Resort
This is the second time I have been to this hotel. The staff are all amazing and the hotel grounds are stunning. Rooms are OK, pools are great and the food is varied. Air conditioning is great in the rooms and there is also a fan which is all I used most nights. The only negative point was the hotel was three-quarters filled with Mexican/Spanish speaking clients and the Canadians and US clients felt very outnumbered.
Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun: Amazing
We spent 2 weeks recently at Secrets Maroma in Mexico and we can easily say it was one of the best travel experiences either of have ever experienced. From the time we arrived at the resort, we were greeted and treated with nothing but a welcoming professionalism. The resort itself is beautiful and the grounds are kept meticulously clean. We had an ocean view room on the 4th floor in building 22, and our concierge, Margarita was outstanding. Anything we wanted or needed, Margarita would take c [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Vacation
The resort is about 1.5 hours from the airport. The resort was beautiful, food was great. We tried several a la carte restaurants, Fruitas del Mar, Le Gourmet and Mexican (at Tulum) and they were all excellent. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have what you need/want. Always saying hello with a smile. We went to the dinner and show for Feista at the Hacienda and it was excellent. We also took the trip to the jewellery and tequila factory and then into Playa del Carmen, it was [... read more]
Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great resort
Large property with lots of amenities. Lots of restaurants and bars. Rooms are spacious. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots to do, fitness center is good. Entertainment every night, kids activities also available.
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Will never go to any other resort EVER!
Been to Jamaica, DR, Cuba and this resort, city, food, hospitality, cleanliness, people, safety, fun, parties were out of this world! I will never go to another resort EVER again because I had the time of my life in Los Cabos/Riu Palace is truly a palace! Food is amazing, resort pools were great, only downfall is that u cant swim in the ocean but other than that! 5 stars +!! Highly recommend!
Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Second visit, there will be a third
We love this resort. Rooms are very clean, staff is exceptional and the location is excellent. Just keep in mind that if you go off peak season and the resort is quiet, they reduce buffet service to a couple of theme nights a week for dinner and closed for dinner otherwise. They do have a la carte restaurants but only 3 so it gets a bit stale.
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort!
Resort is very busy, 100% occupancy. They didn't have a room with king bed. Had to take a room with 2 double beds. Offered to move me to a room with king bed when available (3 days). Other than that the place has been amazing. Food is good. Staff are wonderful. Resort is cool and breezy. Great view of the water. The complex is huge with plenty to do.
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
We stayed at Bahia Principe Tulum May 7th to the 14th. All in all we had a great vacation, however it wasn’t to our expectations. I’ll break it down into sections for you. Beach: The beach was beautiful, the maintenance guys works extremely hard all hour of day and night to try and maintaine the seaweed issue, however no fault to the resort but the beach was un-swimable. The seaweed was meters deep and as quickly as it was being removed, more was coming in. The unfortunate problem wa [... read more]
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great resort
The hotel was very clean and big. All the restaurants were nice and the staffs were very friendly. We enjoyed the shows each night at the theatre. We recommend the Sakura restaurant. The cooking show was very fun to watch
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing family vacation
This was our second time here at coba.still have nothing bad to say about this resort.still as good as it was last time we went.going back again next May.only thing was the water at beach was crapy this time but no fault of the resort.just mother nature
Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Almost perfect resort
It's a beautiful resort with lots of lush tropical greenery, exotic birds, swimming pools and fountains. All buildings in the resort are neatly incorporated in the environment, both exterior and interior design of the main lobby and restaurants are really amazing. The rooms are spacious, clean and pleasant. The hotel staff is friendly and the service they provide is impeccable. On the flip side, the food was not always that great, a blemish in the overall very good impression. Also there w [... read more]
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos: Outstanding Ziva!
Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations. The design and layout is very well planned. The food in particular was excellent. The Steak and Asian restaurants were our favourites. Will definitely plan to go back.
Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Beyond fabulous
The hotel, food, excursions and staff were beyond any five star that I have been too. Six parks included with the all inclusive is unheard of but this resort offers this. I am a very busy and active person and was only able to go to two of the parks to complete everything that was offered. Definitely need more than a week to see everything. The rooms were beautiful and very high tech. The staff cleaned the rooms daily and stocked the fridge daily. Everything was seamless from being picked [... read more]
Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Impressive
No complains except for the inconsistent maid service. We only had turn down service one night and our last day got no service at all. The wifi was mediocre but I was not on vacation to use the Internet so not a big deal. The food was amazing and the wait staff could not have been more helpful. Better entertainment than I have seen on most resorts.
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: This will be the first all inclusive I plan to go back to!
The hotel was very clean, from the pool to the dining area. My room was always stocked and organized. Riu Palace supports a mixed crowd, from couples to singles and everything in between. Have fun :)
Ocean Riviera Paradise: LOVED IT!!
The Resort was absolutely amazing. The entire facility was spotless not a bug to be found and the restaurant/lobby washrooms were extremely clean. Our room was beautiful and the water pressure and hot water in the shower were fabulous. The food was delicious!!!!!! Our favorite restaurant was probably the Italian. It's a must. I can't say enough about how great and friendly the service was. And there are soooo many amenities (bowling, ice cream bar, coffee shop, casino, gym, spa, sports bar, [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Perfect Vacation
The entire trip from Leaving Edmonton to arriving back seven days later went perfectly. We have absolutely no complaints and would definitely book with Tripcentral and Air Transat again. Great vacation.
