Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Just a wonderful resort with the best staff and food!

Now Jade Riviera Cancun is one of my favourite all inclusive resort that we have ever stayed at. We had a little trouble booking in when we first got there, but ended well as they up graded us to a junior suite overlooking the ocean! The rooms are great and the variety of wonderful restaurants every night was such a treat. The staff were wonderful and so friendly.

Riu Vallarta: High class resort

Everyone was absolutely terrific. They worked hard each and every day to give us a Fabulous and fun experience. The resort was clean and well looked after. A five star rated it indeed was. I wish there were more evident vegan options. Some vegetarian but difficult for a vegan to eat.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Amazing resort

We had a great week, great service, good food and great entertainment! We were in prime location, 20 mins from the airport, 10 minutes from down town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a familly kids resort.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: El Dorado Sensimar - very good resort

We enjoyed our stay greatly. The Sensimar is a traditional type resort, great staff, clean, good amenities. And having access to the sister resort, Seaside Suites balances out nicely as it is new and very modern - but also great service, food, also very clean. Entertainment options also good, restaurants very nice. We would definitely return.

Grand Sunset Princess: Grand Sunset Princess, resort was a little to big for myself much too big.

Grounds were impeccable and extremely clean. Room was always clean and in acceptable condition. Shower was extremely slippery, should have non-slip strips to prevent accidents/slips from happening (which happened to 2 guests during my stay. Pools were always very clean and looked after. Service at the bars and restaurant were very good. A little issue that I did not understand the Fondue/Seafood restaurant are one and the same, so I did not like the soup offered up on the Seafood menu and a [... read more]sked for the French Onion from the Fondue restaurant and they would not do it, completely didn't understand that one. Specialty restaurants were not what I had expected or what I am used, not a good selection of items.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Not a 5*, needs work

My husband and I visited the hotel last week to celebrate his 30th birthday and our 1st year wedding anniversary. We decided to book this resort based on my parents (they visited for the opening) and my sisters recommendations ( they visited on January with a group of 14). I email the resort a couple times asking to be upgraded to be put on Fuego if possible and to remind them of our celebrations (My travel agent requested the same). I got an email back from Aldo Chicon who advised they were awa [... read more]re of my celebrations and their file was noted and they were going to make sure it was acknowledge, he also advised they will check if I could upgrade to Fuego upon check in for an additional fee. Upon arrival we were created by a guy who was extremely rude, I asked about Fuego and he said there we no notes on the system and no space for upgrade. We were put in the Agua building which was nice and adult only area so we decided to leave it at that. We were extremely tired as our fly was delayed and were running on 18 hours of no sleep, I requested a map and he told me his co-worker will give it to me. I went to the co-worker and she told us to follow her and chat about the resort on the bar upstairs, she said it will take 90 mins. I requested the map as I had read here and on the fb group about the timeshare speech. I asked her for the map and declined to go for drinks with her and explained we were tired. She got upset and went to her co-worker complaining that we didn't want to sit, I am bilingual so I responded in Spanish and told her to give me the map, she was taken back that I overhear what she said. She said she will walk us to the room, I asked her questions on our walk and she ignored me. When we got to the room I asked for the map and she said I had to go back to the lobby and listen to her speech to get the map, I got upset and she gave me the map. Guess what, she was holding it on her hand!. The staff working on the pools, bars, parks, gardens and restaurants were incredible and we had a great time with them, they made our trip they go above and beyond to help you. The maid service was food too and our fridge was always stock. The food and facilities are amazing. Customer service on the front desk and buttler is very poor and it needs alot of work. I never hear from buttler unless I call and they also forgot to acknowledge my husband's birthday and anniversary. We kept getting harassed about the timeshare so we decided to do it so they leave us alone, in my opinion it is not worth it and I will never sign up for a timeshare package on which their customer service lacks so much. The beach was unusable due to seaweed not the hotels fault but nature. I bought the photo package and I haven't been able to download them. I will update my review if I get them. In conclusion I found alot of inconsistencies their website states that Agua building has access to the hydrotherapy circuit but the Spa and butler said it wasn't included after alot of back and forth they agreed to honour it unfortunately, it was on our last day so we only went once. My sister was going to get married here but she has changed her mind, we want her day to go smooth and this hotel is not there yet

Sandos Cancun: Not what I expected

The beach - was not the greatest The room - was fantastic The service - was awful, noone spoke english, complaints were disregarded The food - we booked here because I am vegan. There is one vegan meal a day so get ready to eat guacamole, raw potatoes and salad because everything else is covered in butter and cheese and they wont make special orders. The drinks - were far too strong and we saw so many drunk people getting hurt at the pool The wildlife - was amazing we fed monkeys on the bal [... read more]cony. There were birds and coatis everywhere. There were also lots and lots of mosquitos because of all the stagnant water. We went to book our wedding and will not be returning to this resort. There was a black out during one wedding, they lost the grooms pants and beach ceremonies include sandfleas.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: This place is great!

The rooms, pools, events and grounds are excellent. Food is also very good, did not get bored. There are lots of activities to book. The dive shop on site is fabulous to deal with. We booked an excursion to snorkel via jet ski which was a lot of fun and well organized. The entertainment was fantastic as well with lots of live music. There is a fantastic kids pool with slides etc. that looked fun. I will endorse MIKES coffee. Very good coffee, we were in there twice every day. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Ok resort

Resort was ok but definately misleading on what we actually got in comparison to how much we paid. Food was good but definately property not laid out well. Being in the select club the beach was way to far of a walk considering the way things were explained the select club and royal elite should have had the suites by the beach. More restaurants should have been open in between for snacks throught the day. Was disappointed in the fact time share was all this resort was about. Room was supposed [... read more] to be stocked every day according to the upgraded bracelet to select club and got restocked two or 3 days out of 10. Was hard to get room service. But nice resort but will travel to another resort instead

Canto Del Sol: Low Key Charm

This is our third time at this resort. The charming atmosphere and excellent food make for a relaxing holiday. There are lots of activities including the tennis club. It feels like home away from home. The resort is walking distance from town and the marina. Lovely time!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: An amazing week away!

We stayed at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort and were so happy with our stay. Although the room that we had was simple, it was clean, and appropriate for us three. The staff and grounds were stunning! The food was excellent as well. I would highly recommend this to families travelling to Mexico who just want to relax on the resort. The only disappointment was that the beach was WAY too rocky to out on. It was giant boulders with large craters in between that made the beach not too great for our 7 y [... read more]ear old.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Beautiful resort.

This was a totally awesome place. Right from the diverse pools to relax in and to the different activities that took place everyday. I totally enjoyed all of my events and excursions that took place. Only thing that I thought would be better is the mid week miyan dinner was cancelled and I was looking forward to that event. Overall this place is a huge place that allows all forms of people to enjoy the places and I do plan to come back with my entire family.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Everything you need plus more

Barcelo has everything you could want in a resort. You almost don't even need to leave the grounds. They have beautiful pools and beaches of course but additionally Barcelo has a bowling alley, gym, spa, mini golf course, mall and a haunted house. Hence, if by chance it rains there is still plenty to keep one occupied. Every staff member I interacted with was helpful and accommodating. Great place to spend a week or two!!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Disappointed

We recently visited the Royalton in cancun! Right from the start we had troubles. They didn’t clean our rooms, they Would come at 9, 10 o’clock at night when our small children were sleeping. Service is extremely slow. Other than those issues resort was very clean ( minus rooms not being cleaned ). The beach was covered and I mean covered in seaweed, the beach smelt very strong and awful. Lots of garbage washed up on shore while walking the beach.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Third year in a row!

- Third year in a row at the grand oasis - Great hotel, with lots too do - Many restaurants with good food - Friendly and helpful staff - Nice and modern rooms - Pool always super clean - Hotel grounds always clean - The ocean was a tad messy, but probably from rainstorms prior to our visit - Recommended for young adults, groups of friends, singles

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Great location

The hotel grounds were immaculate and the entire service team were outstanding. Lots of smiles, friendly interactions and incredibly accommodating. Food was good, not great. Found the selection at the restaurants to be somewhat limited but quality was good.

Grand Sunset Princess: Great

It was wonderful and the taste and quality of the foods were perfect. The rooms were clean but a little humidity. Performances in main theater were professional and amazing. Kid clubs were good and totally we enjoyed and satisfied by sunwing.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great First Experience!

This was my first time in Mexico and I couldn't be happier. The resort was beautiful, the staff extremely friendly and the food - excellent! Being able to venture between the resorts was also a plus. I'd definitely come back so thank you!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing Resort with great room, food and entertainment!

Overall, it is an amazing resort with kids friendly pool. Our whole family enjoyed tremendously, see below review on the different areas. Public Areas: Very nice lobby and we were greeted for check-in fairly quick. Other public areas are nice and very clean with lots of wildlife especially the iguanas that the kids all enjoy watching. Food: Food is excellent, the buffet provides a variety of food which you will not be bored. You can even try the nearby Tulum Resort's buffet if you want eve [... read more]n though the one in Coba is actually bigger. Room: Room is quite big and the beds/pillows were comfortable. They provided a security lock at free of charge which you can lock in valuable items. Pools: There are 2 main pools for adults and kids, 1 for adults only and the other one is for kid. All nice and clean and kids definitely love all the different water slides they could get on to. Beach: Beach unfortunately is a bit disappointing as there are lots of seaweed throughout the whole week we stayed. We heard from the staff that it usually lasts a few weeks, but they don't know why this time around, it has been lasted for months. The shore was covered literally with green seaweed that makes it unpleasant to swim even though the resort has been cleaning like crazy since the morning. But Mother Nature definitely wins in the end and they were only able to clean specific areas but even then they cannot get rid completely all of them but at least it's acceptable. It is my first time in Mexico and I can only speak to this particular Grand Bahia Principe resort that includes Tulum, Coba and Akumal... The beach is quite rocky meaning that there are quite a lot of rocks that you would stepped on which at times, hurt my feet. For some reason, the luxury resort Akumal does not have seaweed at all in their area which makes me wonder why... but for Coba and Tulum, lots of seaweed and rocks. Definitely recommend Dominican Republic or Cuba as they have much nicer beaches.

Unico 20 87 Hotel Riviera Maya: Best hotel in Mayan

I have been to a number of high end all inclusive hotels in the Mayan Riviera, and this one is by far the best. The restaurants, staff, Café, pools, rooms, service, grounds are by far the best. The hotel being new is a contributing factor to the facilities being the best, but the staff were also very well trained and made the stay amazing! This was happening all along the coast though, and is not controllable by the hotel. They did the best job they could at cleaning it up .
