Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Great Resort

Great resort with amazing amenities. Our room was spacious and clean, however our beds were very uncomfortable. The resort grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Food at the buffets were good, however staff had a hard time keeping up with the amount of guests dining. The a la cartes were amazing, especially the Japanese. The lazy river, coffee shop, and ice cream parlor are a great added touch to the resort. The staff at the resort were amazing.Our Concierge, Manuel was very helpful through [... read more]out our stay. And Angel, at the Lobby bar was the best bar tender ever.

Catalonia Yucatan: Beautiful Place

All the Restaurants were superb; the food was delicious The Restaurants and Resort itself was kept in immaculate condition.. The Service was great, the Staff were friendly and hard -working - We were treated like Kings and Queens, staff was always happy to help us in any way possible....

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Beautiful,Immaculate Resort

We thought the Iberostar was absolutely lovely with many beautiful birds,a long, well shaped pool, immaculate grounds and rooms and very good food as well. We did find the front desk person lacking in any warmth or attention to us upon our arrival..He did not look us directly but continued shuffling papers,trying to deal with 3 couples at once and made no pleasant, friendly attempts at welcome. It was a disappointing first impression. We were also impressed with the welcome and friendliness of the Iberostar Cozumel staff.as wespent a day there Back at the main Iberostar we enjoyed walking around this huge property, eating in various a la cartes and taking advantage of the many activities offered. The beach was a bit windy that week but we enjoyed long walks and getting a swim in the waves.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Beautiful Resort

This resort is beautiful with very well maintained grounds and a wide and very tasty selection of foods in the many alacarte restaurants..The two downfalls to this resort was the lengthy check in process and the amount of walking involved to get anywhere in the resort...

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Relaxing, Friendly, Variety of Activities On Site

We had a very enjoyable time at this resort and are considering going back with family (Grandchildren etc.). Only minor things were exchanging money and would suggest more fresh vegetables to choose from (i.e. fresh fruit was excellent). Also found Trip Central an easy and thorough business to book this trip.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: great beach

A great resort. Excellent service and food. I appreciated the fact there were covered walkways so even when there was rain at night we were able to go to restaurants without getting wet! Also there were lots of chairs on the beach so there were no towel game being played.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Treated like royality

Best vacation ever would love to go back! Food service rooms and beach/pools were out if this world Want to return anytime I can, as this place was more than I could have ever expected. The room service was an extra special treat too

Grand Palladium Colonial: Great Resort

We travelled with our daughter, son in law & 2 grandchildren(ages 3yrs & 6 months). The grounds of this resort are stunning and extremely clean. The majority of the rooms have been renovated,and were sparkling clean as well. Although we never made it to the a la carts , they were always full, so the food must have been good. The staff are very attentive and friendly. This is a great vacation hotel for families with kids as there is so much for them to do. We thought our grandson (3years old) would like the kiddie play area & pool the best (which he did) but he loved the beach even more. I would highly recommend this hotel ,but would WE go back? Not on our own as I feel it was more for families....as it was a very busy hotel even in the off season (we travelled Nov 19-26/2014) The staff are also accommodating , as our kids changed buildings after asking, as they were still doing renovations in the building we were in (Bldg 20), and the noise was a little loud when she took the kids for an afternoon nap. Any building is great and there is covered walking area in case it rains which leads to all of the buildings. Only negative is the hour and a half bus ride. Book it and enjoy! :)

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Definitely will return next year

My room get upgraded to Maya Junior Sute withou extra cost. Room is clean, fresh juice and fruits in the morning is heaven to me before hitting the gym. All staff are very polite & working very hard to provding us 5 stars services. Already planning to return next year.

Grand Riviera Princess: Amazing, Outstanding ... Can't say enough about it

This resort was recommended to us by my niece and it didn't disappoint. We upgraded to the Platinum level and I would do this again, private area(s) with butler service is the way to go. The grounds are very well kept, the beach amazing, the food was good with lots of variety. The staff are all very accommodating. This resort is very large so if you don't like to walk maybe this isn't the place for you. We are planning on a return visit next year.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Fantastic Resort,non impressive Air Transat

Amazing resort.Perfect size and location. Excellent service.Restaurants and food incredible. Facilities of a high standard and quality.Entire resort walkable within 10 mins. Activies were great-beacholleyball,tennis coaching etc.

Riu Palace Mexico: One of the best places we have stayed in Mexico

Food is really good. Staff is tremendous, but we have found the staff in Mexico to be good everywhere. The resort is smaller than some others, so there is lots of seats, tables, reservations, activities and loungers available.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Beautiful resort

Great resort for families! It was our first family trip with our two year old son and it was great for kids! The rooms and grounds are very nice and clean. The service is A1! The staff is very nice! I recommend this resort in a heart beat! Will go back for sure!

Ocean Maya Royale: Beautiful Resort

The hotel is well maintained and very beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very easy to know your way around and to find what you need. The five restaurants have a variety of different foods and themes, which was nice. I would go back to this resort for sure.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Not As good as bahia Punta cana !

The beach was not really good, too many rocks.. Overall, service was lacking,,and we tip very well,,,,but it didn't seemto matter. Our room was not cleaned well at all. Food was somewhat disappointing. I wouldn't go back .

El Dorado Seaside Palms: 2nd time's a charm!

Want to mention names before I begin. Ebaldo,bartender at premium swim up, Claudia and Christine at Naay Spa. Thanks for everything. We were here 5 years ago and a few things have changed but only for the better. New theatre and suites. Drinks, food , pools and beach were wonderful. Friendly staff and event staff ( Ivan and Theresa) awesome job. Best Guacamole ever! If the main beach is not what you're looking for, head west along the beach between Palladium and Seaside and you'll find an amazin [... read more]g piece of beach that cannot disappoint. Only complaint I can give is the Pub Restaurant that is a reservation only. Food was meh but mostly choice was not impressive. Hotel and staff are top shelf all the way.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: We had a great time

The resort more than met our expectations - it was as naturey as any resort we've been to and seemed to be very eco-responsible. Nice beach, great food. Only minor complaint - room did not have enough electrical outlets.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: totlally awesome

everything was perfect. the food was perfect in all the restaurants and i found the staff to be more than accommodating. the ground were flawless and the gardens beautiful. the children's club was very well run. i would truly recommend this resort to any family.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Pretty good resort overall. Not amazing & not bad!

This resort is massive, you have to take a trolly everywhere there are 8 different restaurants to eat at - you will figure out which ones are worth your time and which ones you should have gone to the buffet instead! aha my favorite: Japanese/ Mediterranean / steak house not my favorite: Ribs&More (food was nasty- service sucked) Brazilian (service was fantastic food was OK - greasy) I loved the salad bars at the restaurants though! Rooms were nice - not 5 star but i would say 3.5 - 4 service [... read more] overall good - not going to complain WIFI - this is where my issues are. Wifi went on and off (free version) the preminum for 60$ would not even connect! so we paid for that to find out we are better off for the free. very frustrating. Good resort to hang at - so much to do. for 8 nights we just hung out, lounged and enjoyed our self! we didnt feel the need this time to do excursions, there was so much to do at the resort. Loved the free drinks/salad bar Gym is actually half decent. (thats quite something haha) Something to consider - it take 65 mins from air port to this resort!! consider that because after flying for 6 hours/ dealing with customs/ figuring out transport .. do you want to travel for another 1hr??? - i didn't consider this when booking... when i was there dealing with this i was exhausted. food for thought ;) Overall good stay - for the $$$ it was a good pick.

The Resort was beautiful, rooms were nice, food was awesome and the staff were out of this world friendly and helpful when ever needed.. Beach was awesome. Just a fare bit of walking needed to get around.
