Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Amazing Experience

The beach at the resort was disappointing to say the least. However, the atmosphere around the quiet pool area as well as the staff at the swim up bar made up for this. It appears that the closer your time to leave approaches, housekeeping deteriorates and towel changes, bar fridge replenishment becomes less frequent. Housekeeping has become less effective and we have on occasion been forced to do it ourselves and call front desk for towels. Room service could be improved upon. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Family resort

Great service, very clean, staffs are friendly, food was amazing, jerk chicken..delicious. We enjoyed the Japanese cuisine and the Italian restaurant. The pools are warm and clean. We loved kids club and their programs. Overall, it is an amazing resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Lubeck Shoemaker wedding

Not happy: We did not receive confirmation regrding our trip until the day before we were to fly. this caused much anxiety. Our son was getting married so we brought 80 people including kids age 2- 15 to Mexico. We paid high price for our flight which was supposed to be a direct flight. That’s what we paid for. We ended up having to leave Edmonton at midnight and flew across Canada to toronto. Then flew from toronto to cancan and arrived in cancan got a bus to the Hotel. When we arrived [... read more] we had to wait for our hotel rooms, because the resort wasn’t ready for us.. Our room was ok, but i had requested an adjoining room with Our daughter. Instead she got an adjoining room with a sister in law. We had requested that we all be close together as we were travelling with young children. Our son ended up approximately 2 km away. Not good. Every thing that was organized for the wedding set for Nov 3 turned out to be a disaster. No one can control the rain, but there should have been a back up location for the wedding reception, we ended up getting delayed for supper due to the rain, but when supper was served the table was soaking wet, and we all ended up drenched with the water leaking off the tables. Supper was miserable, people were getting shocks from the metal spoons, when we told the workers they all acted like they couldn’t speak English, very frustrating. Everything was way too expensive, not worth what we were charged. We ended up getting stranded in Montreal on our return flight. This cancelation caused my wife to miss a very important surgery which she had been waiting for for 2.5 years. No idea when she can be rescheduled. We had to get rooms for 35 people whom were on this flight. Absolutely not acceptable. I will not be recommending this travel site or the hotel

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Fantastic resort!!

I was impressed the moment we entered the lobby. Very clean and updated. The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of and the rooms were some of the nicest ones we’ve stayed in also. The food was amazing as well. My only complaint is that the bars usually only had one server and the line ups got very long, otherwise everything was perfect. Would 💯 recommend this resort.

Our recent stay at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum was amazing! The newly renovated Premium Superior room was well appointed, clean, spacious & had adequate storage for our clothing, suitcases, pool floats, etc. The grounds and facilities are well maintained. The pools were clean, the restaurants were spotless, the staff went above & beyond to ensure guests were satisfied & happy. The resort offers many activities during the day & evening. The entertainment staff make sure everyone is having a gr [... read more]eat time! The fantastic kids club is great and has various activities for children ages 4-12. There’s also a teen club. Food was great whether it was from one of the many a la carte restaurants or the buffet. The food truck was handy being near the kids pool & water park. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, family trip to the Riviera Maya area.

We just returned from Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar after 8 glorious days in Punta Cana. This resort recommendation from Veronica at Tripcentral was absolutely perfect. It is a great resort, super clean and luxurious. We had a great time and the weather was perfect each day. Highly recommend any of the Bahia resorts as they are well run and well designed. We felt safe and had all that we needed to have a good time. Their a la carte restaurants were really high quality. We could also access all the [... read more] a la carte restaurants at the connecting Bahia resorts and there is a shuttle service that runs all day and night to bring people all to the shared areas with each resort. It is a huge place and well organized and friendly staff. For our resort the beach is really close to the hotel rooms and lobby as compared to the others resorts that are part of the property. So beautiful and clean and well maintained. Rooms were exactly like the website photos and the cleaning staff were great. Very clean and well maintained resort. The food at the buffet was high quality, plentiful and varied. Great service all throughout. The water for the hotel for drinking and ice were all safe for guests and bottled. The tap water was not recommended to be consumed by non-DR residents as it can cause stomach problems. We had no issues. This part of Punta Cana was so beautiful and the beach was clean and well cared for. Great service for drinks on the beach. Also, Air Transat was fabulous to work with at the resort. Really helpful staff that helped to orient us when we arrived and the flights were great. We did one excursion that was really fun. We will definitely go back to another Bahia.

We just got back from an amazing vacation. This resort is definently a 5 star resort. From ck in Andreas was quick and fast and made sure our requests were meet. Getting into our room we found there was no crib as requested so I went back to the front desk. When I got back to the room 10 mins later it was there.. quick service. The room was very spacious, cleaned spotless with an adjoining room for my daughter and her family. The king bed was very comfortable with 10 pillows.. bathroom had Jacuz [... read more]zi tub, separate shower and separate toilet. On to the pool and pool bar. Juan is a number 1 bartender. He could mix anything. Our entertainment staff Asvaldo, Carlos, Luis and Joel kept us entertained for the week. They are so attentive to the kids. Picking them up playing with them and making them have fun. Buffet Luis Miguel should be serving in s high class restaurant he was amazing. The grounds are immaculate and the beach kept very clean. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Family Friendly

The resort is beautiful and the pools were amazing. It is only steps from the ocean so you have the best of both world. It is very family friendly with lots of activities and fun things for the kids to do. The food was OK - not great and mostly because it is not very hot - they serve it in warmers, but most times it was almost cold by the time you get to your table. We had 3 ala carte restaurants included in our package, but we didn't reserve prior to arriving, and there was zero availabil [... read more]ity at any of the resorts included in our package. This left us only the buffet to eat at for meals and after a few days it got kind of monotonous. The music at the main pool at points got very loud (but that might be because I'm old) lol I do have to say, we were there for Halloween and Day of the Dead Celebrations and they were phenomenal! We really enjoyed the decorations, the dancing and the costumes! The main criticism I have for this resort is on their events. We were there for my daughter's wedding and it Rained - they have NO event tents to set up and as a result, the décor my daughter spent weeks and weeks creating, got ruined, the guests had to sit at tables that had soaking wet table clothes - we managed to get the meal almost eaten before it started to rain again and they made us walk in the rain to the nearby restaurant verandah where they changed the reception to. If they had simply set up an event tent (they knew there was a 30% chance of rain) we would have been able to enjoy the evening without everyone getting soaking wet. Most of the staff were great and very accommodating (especially the cart transfer guys at concierge) but I did experience some very negative staff when calling the front desk. Overall it was an excellent trip with family and friends.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Wonderful time

It's an amazing resort. Food was good. Lovely beache, lots of entertainment, day and night. I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked that it has it's own little village with live entertainment, a night club and shops with reasonable prices. Along with several restuarants on the resort, for those who want some thing different and a bit more formal.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: My Amazing Experince

Bahia Principle Grand Jamaica was a beautiful resort. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with drinks and great hospitality. We stayed in the junior superior suite which was very spacious, and well kept. Big balcony with a garden view. The food was delicious and there was lots of variety. Disappointing that can only book 3 al-a-carte dinners, and the rest of the time you must eat at the buffet. Beaches were beautiful, pool was clean, and staff were always kind and helpful.

All said this hotel was very satisfactory. It was a last min. Deal so for the price it was ok.I wouldnt call it luxury but beautiful weather and of course their employees were very helpful.good trip.🌴🌞🍦☕️🍺🇨🇦

We loved our stay, overall I have very little negative to say. Rooms: Bed was a little hard but room was very clean, beautiful and luxurious. Beach: Beautiful, sand was lovely. Always able to find a chair, staff helpful if you are looking for shadier spots. Staff available to serve drinks and there is a spot to grab food nearby. Nono from buffet staff was always entertaining and kind. They have a butler desk with someone around any time for questions or issues! Entertainment: This resort is a little quieter at night but honestly it was good. They had an amazing saxophone player and every night they did have something going on but I know some of the other sites may have had a little more with a larger space/theatre. I believe it is in the Grand section. Overall, anyone should definitely visit, it was worth it!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Beautiful surroundings

Beautiful surroundings, fairly good service. Good food but came home sick on the plane with food poisoning. Not a happy ending. Would not go back. If you are the least bit afraid of the food, don't go it will ruin your holiday. AC in the room very substandard. Lots of mosquitos in the room. Wifi was terrible even after paying the premium.

Ok, my personal opinion. The rooms are dated but I understand they are working on this. The resort was very clean. The buffet wasn't bad. Having access to the A La Cartes was a nice option. They know how to make a mean mojitho unfortunatley they ran out of mint at the beach bars all the time. The main beach area was beautiful, no seaweed! The staff was wonderful. If you have a family this seems to be a popular option for Brits travelling with kiddos. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Good resort!

Very well kept. Rooms clean. Food pretty good. Wish there was better entertainment specifically at the Ambar complex and a better variety of music throughout the day st the pool and in the evenings in the lobby. Butler service was excellent. Thank you Wady!

Grounds were beautiful ,rooms were clean ,hotel staff were friendly and the food was plentiful with lots of variety.Entertainment staff did a great job and pool area had lots of chairs and loungers.Beach area had lots of loungers.

I will start by saying the staff was amazing. Any complaints were met and resolved. The grounds were very clean. And I would have to say, this is one of the better beaches I have ever been to. That being said, the room fridge was never cold. Some of the lights worked in the room - very dark at night. There was almost no water pressure and one night we only had cold water. I have a smaller child and I did find it disturbing to see the lifeguards on phones.
