Dreams Huatulco: Amazing Resort

I cannot say enough about Huatucolo. It is beautiful, the people are very friendly. The resort was the best I have ever stayed at. Everything was supplied for you, right down to the sunscreed. Food was great. Rooms were spotless and comfortable.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Most beautiful resort ever!

Everything about this resort was simply amazing from the staff to the beach! The food was delicious from the buffet to all the a la carts! From the moment we walked in the staff treated us like family! I totally recommend this place for family's to honeymooners!

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Great resort

Resort overall - the resort overall was great. Always clean, staff was always friendly and ready/willing to help out. It is just a smaller resort than what I am used to compared to Dominican. The beach space was much smaller but was big enough, we never had an issue with not finding seating. I liked that there was a server that came directly to your seats to get your drink order. They always had some sort of show or something going on but it never lasted long or late into the night. No disco or anything like that. So definitely a nice, peaceful resort if that's what you're looking for. My boyfriend and I are in our late twenties and we would have liked a little more activity at night. Another con - they always say they include non motorized sports in your package but we only saw a few kayaks and some boogie boards. Aside from that, I don't think they had anything and they were never laid out on the beach like I've seen it done at other resorts. I think they need to make people better aware of the equipment. I only realized on the last day that they had boogie boards that I could use in the ocean. Would have loved to use them more often. Lastly, what really ticked me off big time is that we got charged for a movie we never watched! My boyfriend looked through the movies you could order but never selected any of them. Then when we checked out, their "system" had a record of us watching a movie from 1145 to 115 am one night. First of all, I don't think we stayed up past 1115 or 1130 any night. Second, that was our second day of outdoor trips. We were exhausted and went to sleep by 1030. So I don't know how the TV magically went on and ordered this movie but we were forced to pay because the manager conveniently didn't come in until later and by then we would have missed our transportstion to the airport. I know it's not the end of the world, but it's the principle of the matter and the fact that they wouldn't just take our word for it that really bugged me. I have no problem paying for services used, but I have a huge problem with being charged for something I never used. Rooms - big, spacious, beautiful. We had a jacuzzi on the balcony which was wonderful. We were very comfortable in our room and the maid did a great job of cleaning up every day. However, our clothes felt humid and wet after a few days in the room which was a bit gross. And on the 6th day of our trip I realized the sheets hadn't been changed. Now, I don't know if our maid hadn't changed them at all or just hadn't changed them for a few days. Regardless, the pillows smelled weird at that point and I could feel a bit of sand in our bed. Obviously this is very unpleasant and disappointing for what we paid for our trip. We expected more so that was definitely a disappointment. Service - great, people were friendly and social and made us feel welcome.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Service service and more service

Dreams Punta Cana excels in areas where most all-inclusives fail: customer service and food. By far the best all-inclusive in those 2 areas that I have ever seen. The hotel itself is somewhat dated (ie. rooms) but remains very well kept! Landscaping is pristine

Dreams Huatulco: Wonderful Break from Endless Winter!

We recently returned from Dreams Resorts and Spas in Huatulco. We travelled with another couple and felt it was definitely one of our new top faves. The positives include...weather was perfect EVERY day (much needed vitamin D after our never ending winter cold + snow!) spotless everywhere and constantly being cleaned, beautiful view from our lounge chairs by infinity pools, excellent buffet with huge selection for everyone and the staff were always helpful and smiling while saying "our pleasure" [... read more]!! The only negative I could say is the "towel game" is in full force..I'm sure people place their towels on lounge chairs before going to bed at night to reserve?!?

Dreams Huatulco: Awesome resort

Very clean, food was all right, loved everything! No complaints! Will definitely go again no problem! If we had a problem which we didn't just had to ask and was solved but didn't like the time share people not impressed at all!

Dreams Huatulco: Beautiful area!

My wife and I were at dreams at the end of February.We had a great time there. The service and food was fantastic. The weather perfect! The resort is very clean and the staff makes sure it stays that way. Great fishing, thanks "Rudy" We really enjoyed going to town, many Canadians at the resort. Definitely will go back and we recommend Dreams!!

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Good Resort, certainly a 4 star

We stayed 11 days in Feb 2015 at Dreams Villamagna in Puerto Vallarta. On the plus side: All the staff were fabulous, no issues at all. Everyone working there was always friendly and attentive to what we needed. The rooms were clean and kept clean, food at the buffet and restaurants was excellent and the restaurants were always easy to get into i.e. no waiting. Negative side: There are 250 condo's attached to the resort and the condo people seem to take up all the beach chairs by leaving towels  [... read more]on them early in the morning. You know it's people from the condo's because it's not hotel issued towels that they leave. Also even though the hotel is listed as on the beach, the 250 condo's stand between the hotel and the beach, so it's a bit of a trek to the beach from the hotel. End result is the people in the condo can run out of their condo at 6am and secure a beach chair and then go back to bed while this is not an option for the people in the hotel. We over came this by not going to the beach until 2:30 in the afternoon which was when beach chairs started to become available. Also we booked a junior suite with jacuzzi not really knowing what this will look like. The jacuzzi is outside and takes up about 1/2 the balcony. We never used it and could have settled for a junior suite without the jacuzzi and saved a few dollars and got more balcony space.

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: After 10 yrs we finally found it!

We traveled to Dreams Villamagna from Feb 14-21st. After spending a week there we have to say we do not have 1 complaint. The up most amazing service everywhere we went. Staff would walk up to you and ask if everything was OK was there anything they could do for you. Check in and check out was quick and efficient we asked for an up grade and they were able to accommodate us with out a problem. Food was amazing! You could eat at any of the restaurants anytime with out a reservation. Only once di [... read more]d we have to wait to be seated and we were offered anther place to sit and a drink while we waited. Food presentation was fabulous. Bars, bartenders and waiting staff were out of this world. Very quick and efficient never had to wait long anywhere. We sat up by the beach bar and they were determined that they served us at our chairs no need to get up and walk the 50 ft to the bar. Julio and Junior were the best they never stopped! One thing that I noticed I have not seen anywhere else is at the bars there are dishwashers. The cups just don't get a shake and a rinse. They actually do get washed! Our room was more than we expected! Beds and pillows were comfy. Rooms were kept immaculate. Fridge was stocked daily! Turn down service every night with you mail and chocolates on your pillow. You would receive a memo on the next day activities, restaurant hrs, weather and the drink of the day!!! Jacuzzi on your deck was a nice treat as well! We also ordered room service a cple times and it was lovely. When you called down it was hello Ms Roy how can I help you. We asked for Spanish Coffee once and at first they said they were unable to bring it. They will call before they deliver to see if there was anything else they could get for us and to tell us by the way we were able to get your Spanish coffee for you! Again the staff always goes out of their way to please!!!! As I said in the beginning we could not find one complaint with this resort. Cant wait to return and also visit other Dreams and its sister resorts! Hats of to all of the staff that work at Dreams Villamagna as you really know how to make a person really feel like they are at home!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great resort - excellent service

We recently stayed at this resort between February 9 and 15, 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing and the service was wonderful. The food was very diversified and savory. We stayed in a swim out room which was very convenient. As in any place, you can always pick on something but I believe this place met my expectations.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Nice resort

Clean, everyone used hand sanitizer. Public bathrooms need some updating. Some of the toilets didn't flush. There was a lot of seating in the lobby but it was uncomfortable. The preferred clients came over to our pools and reserved a lot of the chairs. They didn't use their pool as much. We liked that we didn't have to wear an armband, no towel card, no reservations needed for the a la carte restaurants, free safe, free internet in one of the little shops. Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Absolutist Amazing

This resort has everything you'll ever need. White powder beaches, pristine waters, great food and beautiful surroundings. The grounds are immaculate, pools are great and let's not forget those refreshing drinks! Staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you've ever wanted. You will want for nothing! This resort has everything. All I can say is Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Fabulous Resort

Dreams Palm Beach was one of our favourite resorts. We upgraded to the preferred club when we arrived. Best choice we made. Service was spectacular, staff friendly and accommodating The food at the restaurants was very good. The buffet was average fare, we've had better. It was all the little details the resort does for it's guests that made it great. Will definitely try to get back to this resort or at least another Dreams!

Dreams Huatulco: EXCELLENT

VERY CLEAN, GOOD FOOD, PEOPLE VERY FRIENDLY, THE ONLY DOWN SIDE WAS ROOMS WERE NOT MADE UP UNTIL 4 O'CLOCK PM AND THEN TURN DOWN FOR THE EVENING WAS ONE HOUR LATER, ENTERTAINMENT IN THE EVENING COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Beautiful location

Just back from a wonderful trip to Dreams Punta Cana. So many positive things about this resort. The grounds were spectacular, the staff were warm, friendly, extremely polite and accommodating. The entertainment was very good. It was great to not have to wear a bracelet and to have access to all the onsite restaurants without reservations. We made it clear w [... read more]e had just arrived and wanted to settle in our room, get food and enjoy the sunshine so the person kept it short and sweet, but others complained to having been held up for an hour. When we said we would think about it and get back to them if we wanted to attend, they persisted in stopping us every time we came into the lobby and even called our room (not cool). The rooms are a bit dated but well maintained and the maid service was great and prompt. The staff tries to get everyone to upgrade for an extra fee. We are paying enough already, lets have the rooms equally as nice for everyone. We were in an adjoining room and could hear the neighbours tv and snoring. It was not too bothersome but still could be improved upon. Overall, it was an amazing trip and I would recommend this resort to anyone. P.S. we had the best beachfront of all the resorts in the area!!

Dreams Huatulco: Amazing & Beautiful Resort

Hotel was very clean, staff was very kind, food was amazing and soo good. The Hotel grounds, rooms and resort bathrooms were kept clean. The staff was very attentive and did everything with Pleasure. It was a Dream come Ture!

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort & Awesome Staff!!!!

This was our second time at Dreams Riviera Cancun and it was just as great as the first. The hotel is beautiful and not too big. The grounds are immaculate and the service is impeccable! I will definitely return in the future

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Better than ever

Spectacular grounds, gorgeous pools,friendly staff and a lovely beach...had some coral. The food was the best we have ever had. We were here 3 years ago for my daughter's wedding and will defiantly return. The only drawback was no snorkelling. There was a big reef but both times it was way too wavy.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: a little dated

We are regulars at Dreams and were a little disappointed with our room. The sink drain smelled so bad we had to keep the plug closed; our mini bar was not cold and promises to keep it stocked with extra beer was not kept; the rooms and things around the resort are showing their age. The food (hamburgers and hot dogs at the beach and pool everyday) was nothing special, especially compared to past visits. However, the grounds, pool, beach and spa are great and the staff was friendly.

Dreams Huatulco: Great resort for both young and old!!

I recently travelled to the Dreams Resort, Huatulco. I was traveling with my brother his wife and my aging parents. My dad is 82 and my mother is 77. They are both deaf and have some mobility issues. The everyone was very helpful from the airport to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and made our trip great. The pools were easily accessible and the staff very attentive when you wanted a drink there was always someone there to bring one! We played volleyball in the pool or on the beach and soaked up the sun. My parents fed the fish on the shore while we snorkelled with them further out! We took a kayak out and paddled around the beautiful bay. The restaurants great very little waiting and no reservations required for the ala carts! The food was great and so was the service. We went on a fishing trip where we saw huge schools of Dolphins, a very memorable sight! Then my brother caught a large Mahi Mahi followed by a few bonito fish. Huatulco is a beautiful place and the Dreams resort is the place to stay!
