Ocean Blue and Sand: Butiful resort

Resort has nice layout, rooms are big, service excellent. Washrooms very clean and showers are big . The food in restaurants, especially Japanese very delicious. Steaks in Steak house restaurant huge and delicious.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing Resort

This was our 5th trip to the Majestic Resorts. Twice at Colonia and three times at Elegance. No matter which one you chose you will be happy. The staff is amazing, the grounds are mature and beautiful, the pool is so long and nice, the food gets better at every visit, and the beach is wonderful. The pool is cleaned meticulously every morning, the rooms and resort is very clean. There are some that post about the seaweed on side of the beach. We’ve been to several resorts since 2009 (every year) in Cuba, Mexico and Dominican, and have decided that Majestic Punta Cana is our home away from home. We are returning at the end of April 2026 with our adult children and spouses. This will be their first time at Majestic and we can’t wait to show them.

The rooms are quite spacious and are kept clean. The staff are very attentive and are always working hard at their jobs. The grounds are beautiful, very walkable with lots of trees, flowers and vegetation. We were there for American Thanksgiving and there was a lovely turkey buffet. We were also there for the Christmas tree lighting and the resort put on a great performance with singers and dancers to celebrate the beginning of the season. Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Amazing resort

Enjoyed every minute So clean,someone is always cleaning. Everything you would want to eat and drink. Staff very accommodating. Night live was good. Beach was always clean. Great view of the in coming ship.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Great Family Vacation

Resort had all the amenities that a family would enjoy. Pool was huge and my granddaughters and their father were in the pool everyday, with a poolside bar for drinks. Beach waters were a little difficult to enter as there were small pebbles and then dips down about 2 feet, which made it a little difficult to walk back to shore. Water shoes recommended. Grand Bavaro Princess: Amazing time

This is a great place, service outstanding, grounds immaculate, great pool and beach is amazing. Entertainment was very good and the Christmas festivities very enjoyable. Resort for Christmas was full of lights everywhere. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Honest review

Staff started working at 7:30 am and would talk outside of our room VERY loudly to each other which woke us up. After three days of complaining they finally stopped. Did not get fresh towels every day. Had to ask. Room smelled musty. Terrible entertainment. Food not great.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Amazing Resort

The grounds were so peaceful. I loved my morning walk through the grounds and the big walkways, lined with palm trees on either side. I especially loved walking the grounds at night where all the palm trees were lit up from the bottom. The lobby was beautiful and had plentiful amount of tables and chairs where you could sit and watch the entertainment or play a game of cards with a drink on hand. The pool was huge and plenty of space to find a chairs and room to swim. There was entertainment all day at the pool, and if you wanted to leave the pool there was a clean sandy beach with volleyball, soccer and plenty of chairs under the palm tree umbrellas. The beach is a little murky because of the sand that is always moving, but the water is clear so don't be fooled. It drops off quickly and goes down to 3' right away. Most of the time we spent either walking the beach or at the pool, not too much time in the ocean. The good thing about this beach is that it is in a bay and there are few waves and was mostly calm.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Food is good

My first day was a bit chaotic since the phone in my room wasn’t working, and it took them two days to fix it. Also, the room’s locker isn’t digital—it uses a key and costs 3 USD per day to use. Aside from that, the food was great, the beachfront was very clean, and the pool area was fun and entertaining.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Great resort!

Great resort for the price. Food was good, drinks were good and all 3 a-la-carts were very good. Great sandy beach that was very easy to get into -no rocks and gentle slope. We did upgrade to Junior Suite to get oceanview and get away from the pool. The resort was very busy But the service was still good. There were no ocean activities and very few beach umbrellas.

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Resort good, but small.

Small resort which could use a swim up bar and/or a sports bar. The all together room was a little bland. But Henry was kind enough to switch us to an amnesia junior room which was a great improvement. We had asked for a room on a higher floor but the all together room was on the lower floor and it really was not a pleasant room. Henry from front desk moved our room to 3rd floor and it was a huge improvement.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Lousy Beach. Good Value

Hard to beat for the price. Good food, lots of booze, nice pools and lousy beach. Seriously, the beach had open sewer and smelled awful. We had to tip to get good rum. Our room was not a suite as advertised. Lots of nice people but not so much at the reception desk.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Adults only

The hotel is very good! Everything is close . The beach is beautiful! The grounds are very well kept. The rooms could use some updates especially the showers could be walk in, easier for seniors. Overall we had a great vacation, the weather was fantastic!!!

Grand Bavaro Princess: Large Resort

The front desk staff were accommodating when our first room smelled of mold. The rooms were large in size with a separate seating area. The resort has a beautiful beach that they kept clean to the best of their ability. The pool was busy but you could always find a chair. Drinks were delicious and food was delicious. I would recommend taking a taxi from the airport, as we waited over an 1 hr to leave then had to drop people off at different locations. Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Great Value

Our stay at Barceló Bávaro Beach was wonderful, as always. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service throughout the resort was excellent. The food was outstanding and truly seems to get better each time we visit. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the things we appreciate most is the compact layout of the resort—everything from the pool to the beach to the buffet is just a short walk away. What could be improved is the bar area, which could use a makeover since the chairs and overall setup feel old and dated. It would also be great to have a bar directly on the beach instead of having to walk back to the pool bar. Another feature we would love to see added is a snack bar for quick bites between meals—something like a small hamburger or snack shack would be a perfect addition. On a positive note, the golf course was in very good shape and offered fun, challenging rounds; although short, the well-protected greens made the course especially enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this resort.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Beautiful but a little messy

We really liked so much about this resort. The only problem was that our kids both got sick (presumably food poisoning) on day three, then I got sick (again assumed food poisoning) on day five. So all of that put a big damper on our vacation and we had to miss all of our excursions.

Very poor sistem. Lounge chairs at the beach not enough and always full in the morning. Shows - very mediocre compared to other hotels in Punta Cana. If you are traveling with a 2 years old don't stay at the 3 rd floor, they have no elevators, carying stroler up and down it becomes exhausting

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Terrible Resort

The food is horrible, there was a cockroach in our room and we were sick most of the time from the food. will never go back again. The only good part of the trip was the weather and the resort was beachfront. Anna was our housekeeper who I adored and did a great job. I talked to an agent at trip central who said this resort was nice. This resort is not even a 3 star im very disappointed in the feedback from the trip central agent as well as this hotel.

Vista Sol Punta Cana: Very beautiful resort

Hotels, grounds and public areas very clean and well maintained. A lots trees flowers and spaces in shade for walking. Every day new entertainment. Theatre has enough seats for all people. Staff were very friendly and professional. Wifi working perfectly in rooms restaurants and public areas. For sure we will recommend this resort to our friends and family.
