Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Alright.

Grounds were beautiful Spa was beautiful Food was okay Staff was mixed - some we're amazing and others were terrible. 50/50 shot Beach was beautiful Pools were decent - very busy and loud, the quiet pool had no seating Rooms were okay - smelt musty, but Super clean Entertainment was always fun!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Best all around resort in the area!

I have been to 5 different resorts in the area, and this was my 3rd time at Blue Bay! Love this place. Ana and David are by far the most amazing bartenders, very attentive and care about their jobs!!!

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: amazing resort

The variety of food was great with lots of varieties to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful. Well kept resort, beach clean and welcoming. Large variety of activities for the whole family. Nightly shows for family entertainment Able to dine at other resorts. Rooms are spacious with a sperate toilet area, Jacuzzi tub and rain shower. A sitting area with TV private balcony overlooking the ocean or the court yard.

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

My first time at this resort. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Very clean rooms/resort, great nightly entertainment. I am looking forward to going back in the next year or so. Highly recommended

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful Resort

WE stayed at the GBP Sian Kaan July 4th 2014 for a week for our 40th anniversary. The resort was clean, food amazing, pools very warm i expect because they were shallow. Ocean was warm, staff incredibly helpful. Especially in the Buffet we enjoyed it so much we did not visit the specialty restaurants. The only draw back is the location away from the beach. My only complaint would be we mentioned it was our [... read more] 40th anniversary when we booked and thought something special would have been done to recognize it but nothing was done until we mentioned it to our waiter on the day of our anniversary. He went out of his way to bring us chocolates and came to our table and did a banana flambe for us which was wonderful. The staff in the buffet was exceptional. We have stayed at many resorts on many different islands but we have found in the GBP Buffet staff to be the best. We would have no problem returning to stay any where in this complex. Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Great Family resort

Less quantity of food than other all-inclusives but much higher quality. Great rooms and pool area for families. Not a very good beach. Butler sevice was a surprise - nice but not necessary. Definitely recommend.

Paraiso de la Bonita: Wonderful Staff, great resort.

We spent a week here at the end of July and found it to be the nicest resort we have stayed at in Mexico. Service was excellent right from the moment we were picked up in our private car at the airport and throughout our entire stay. The staff are genuinely friendly and care that you have a great time. Breakfast service can be a bit scattered, but once we slowed down and get into vacation time/mode, it didn;t bother us. Room was great - we enjoyed being on the third floor and were about mid-way down the resort which was the perfect length of walk after meals and was very quiet. The beach is okay, but not the nicest in Mexico and certainly nothing like Cuba. I found the spa far overpriced - a massage is literally double the cost of an RMT massage in Toronto. If the resort lowered the prices instead of using gimmicky coupons that you cannot use most of the time they might get more uptake. However do not miss the wonderful thermal spa circuit that is included - the salt water pool is heavenly. We will definitely go there again because we were relaxed, well cared for and well fed.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Great place to stay!!

The beach is amazing, service is excellent, food is also great but nothing much in vegetarian menu in couple restaurants. Shopping is expensive and not much. We found the excursion to Tulum... from the kiosque on the right side of the beach offered lots cheaper than in the resort !

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: snorkel swim eat drink sleep

not much else to say , great surroundings ,food was good to great, the spa area , after the first trip there we went back 2 more times it,s a great place to be to get out of the sun from 11 to 2 or so,,simply marvalous

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Very amazing resort

We stayed in the swim up rooms and they were great the rooms and grounds were well looked after. The food was good. The entertainment was good and the people and staff were great. I would go back to this resort anytime.

Allegro Playacar: good resort

The grounds are great the staff are very friendly, I really enjoyed my stay there and I do plan on going back again. Only had one issue with the wifi at the resort other then that had a fantastic time.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Nice Resort but not a five start

Very clean, lots of activites, very large and organized but too large for my taste. The staff are very nice and the service was great. Rooms could be updated and need some renovation very musty smell every time you walked in. Had issues with room keys every single day.

Riu Palace Mexico: Second and last time around

Unbearably damp room. Ugly new color scheme and bad bathroom design. Cheep and bad table wine, even in the specialty restaurants. It is not the resort it use to be, even in the service and the visiting crowd. Stay away.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Service needs improvement

Great pools, nice snorkelling on man-made beach, beautiful area!!! Service was under par, poorly organized "vacation planners", resort credits are disappointing, food average. Perhaps these things will improve as this resort is new.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Valentin Imperial Maya

I would give this hotel a 6 star. The people, rooms, entertainment was awesome. It was a very clean hotel. The food was amazing. The pool was huge. We stayed 10 days. That was a perfect time. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Awesome resort!!!

The pools were great. Especially the pirate ship water park for kids. The lazy river was relaxing and all the pools were great for the kids (ages 4 and 1). The servers were very helpful and most accommodating. The rooms were very clean and maintained daily. The food was delicious, the a la carte and buffet were equally delicious with a variety of foods and themes. My only complaint was that you had to search for high chairs that had the safety straps. Most were broken or missing. But once the se [... read more]rvers got to know us they knew where to get the one high chair with straps and they grabbed it and set it up as soon as they saw us arrive.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: great vacation

We bought an all-inclusive package, and I was a little skeptical at first. But generally we had a great experience. Rooms are standard, if you put 2-5pesos on the bed, the cleaners are happier and you can tell from the way they arrange the room. Food was plenty, but don't wake up too late as the buffet closes before 11 I think. There's still small cafes for coffee and croissants. Didn't get a chance to try any excursions as we had a 2 year old with us, but I bet they are fun. Very relaxing, good [... read more] customer service, and worth it!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great Value and experience

Great beaches, friendly service, clean property and good food. The drinks were mostly just premixed slushy style which was a bit of a let down compared to a genuine pina colada with fresh pineapple blended together but for an all inclusive it was decent. The entertainment was only ok at night and they could use a beach service but we were very happy with our stay overall.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Fabulous resort!!!

We have been to this resort for three years in a row and plan on going back this year again :) The resort and staff are awesome and you can walk forever on the beach. We have always gone here mid-March and have enjoyed mainly hot weather!
