Dreams Riviera Cancun: Resort is a Beautiful place..

Hotel very nice.. Grounds are nice.. Food good.. They only thing I didn't like they try to sell you vacation package to this Hotel and there sister's Hotel.. Which I didn't like.. They said we will have breakfast together and disguse the hotel packages.. No Thank-You..

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Outstanding resort!

Absolutely outstanding resort! The location within a few minutes to the main town, excellent food and service, beautiful beaches. Every detail was taken care of at the wedding we attended from the sax player before the ceremony to the fireworks after the bride and groom's first dance. It was stunning! The service was probably the best we have ever experienced in our travels. Many thanks to Ahmed and Montiel. I would highly recommend this resort!

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Very Relaxing Vacation

We really enjoyed how relaxing this resort was. The beach side beds are so nice and comfortable. Just get out by 7am if you want to save one for the day, if you ask your concierge they can get a sheet put on your bed for the day, it makes it less sticky. The beach front jacuzzi suit was very clean and romantic. The food was quite good especially the Mexican food, it was very fresh and authentic. The food portions are quite small so make sure you order a variety of things off the menu. Just an FY [... read more]I the cheese fondue from the Mexican restaurant has about 2 pounds to cheese melted with lots of meat, it tastes great but very heavy. The dress code is not really enforced, most people dressed casual for breakfast and lunch but more formal for dinner. They have made to order eggs and omelette station. The Ariccffices? restaurant has a smoothie station and a chocolate fondue for breakfast, stay away from the donuts and pastries they are a bit dry and stale tasting. Overall we really enjoyed out anniversary trip, make sure if it is your anniversary you tell them ahead of time and show proof of your wedding date they will give you a candlelight dinner and a few other perks. The 10 year anniversary special they put in your door is a 1 hour tour of the facility and a sales pitch to purchase there loyalty program. We were told to stay away based on online blogs so we did not do the tour. This is a beautiful place and I would go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very nice resort, great service

The Hotel is amazing, great service, delicious food. I'd like lo back next vacation. The only comment I have is about employees strike for one day, service was terrible. I want to know how can I get best rates. Thanks a lot

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: run away from this place

My husband and 2 children ages 3 and 11 wanted to get away for a short but worth while holiday. This was not the place.This place was sold to us as an all inclusive. Upon arrival they are constantly trying to up sale everything. They give you a really bad room (filthy)with no air conditioning and then they try to get you to up grade by buying in to their VIP (a step higher; you can still go higher until reaching the privileged program for a considerable fee) program. It really looked like the pl [... read more]ace was desperate for money and could fold at any time. Everyone wanted tips. If you didn't tip you basically got really bad service. The pools and children's play area was filthy (my 3 year old came back with a skin infection). I was told they had a kids club. When we got there we were told the kids club was only for 4 and up with no exception. The beach was OK. It is very rockie not much in the way of swimming. There was little to no Mexican food served. And the A la cart restaurants where nothing as advertised. We met a lot of unhappy people coming from further places. This is absolutly not a 4 to 5 star resort. When we finally arrived back home we were asked by the west jet steward in the plane if everyone had a great time. There was little to no response from everyone! Good bye Mexico...

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great stay

The hotel COBA was more for children, and was 10 minute walk to the beach, we spent most of our time at the 2 other grand bahia's that were on the beach and slept at the Coba one, the food was amazing as well as the shops at the 3 resorts

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Ocean Turquesa

Would I go back...no. Everyday they did not have beach towels so we were told. Another tourist would come along and get one. The resort was really cut up and took a couple days to find our way around. I will say it was spotless!!

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Great Resort

Stayed at Dreams Riviera Cancun from August 1-8. It was a great resort. Checkin: extremely easy and quick. Welcomed us with a cold towel and champagne. The lobby is amazing! Be wary of the VIP SERVICES. They are really selling time shares in exchange for resort credits which are confusing to use as you cannot use all of them I'm one place. Drinks and food: drinks were great. All to shelf liqueur and great bartenders. Food was great by the poolside. Ocean Breezes for lunch everyday! Steaks were [... read more] always tender but sometimes the food was salty. The Japanese restaurant food is overrated and doused in soy sauce. But overall good food. No reservations requires other than the Japanese restaurant and no wristbands. Rooms: clean and ac worked well. Awkward bathroom with no privacy. We were in room 1111 which was a ground floor with partial ocean view. The room smelled moldy and damp a little but if u open the door for a bit the problem went away. They were cleaned everyday and you received an itinerary every night. Only stocked with coronas and no liqueur but stocked everyday. ServiCe: excellent! They say yes to everything and super nice! Treated like royalty! Vibe: too many kids if ur not with any. They took over the pools. Especially thE swim up bar. They shouldn't be allowed in the infinity pool with the bar. Beach; too much seaweed even though they tried to clean it up everyday. People reserved seats and took more towels they needed which meant the resort ran out at times. People even took some for the following day. Sometimes workers would removed towels from chairs if u ask them to find you a seat in the shade. There is no real night life and the resort isn't near anything so be prepared to relax. Many weddings everyday! And the resort is small so at times it seems like half the resort is unavailable. Overall excellent Experience for families.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: so so resort

we had tree rooms and they were ok as far as space and cleaning. the air conditioing wasnt working in all of them. the food was below average but eatable. the biggest problem was that all in door spaces like restoruants were not air conditioned so go for a meal ws not a pleasenr experiening at all swetting like pigs

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Friend's wedding

We went to Dreams Puerto Aventuras for a friends wedding. The wedding was spectacular. Would we go to this resort again? No...It was a very family friendly resort, so lots of kids, activities for the kids etc. Very noisy, crowded beach, the sand seemed like it was trucked in, dirty... Slow service in restaurants and for drinks. Rooms were musty, but this is how all rooms have been when we have stayed all inclusive in the mayan riviera...All in all, great place to go if you have kids, we do not,  [... read more]and we prefer a nicer beach.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Amazing on every front :)

We came here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. It was everything we wanted and more. The staff were the best! Friendly and accommodating. Shout outs to the bartenders Daniel, Aaron and Lucas...waiter David...Harvey the masseuse...Dulce at the front desk...and so many more! The snorkel adventure tour was fun with a delish lunch included. Yessenia from best day travel gave great advice and directed to the excursions best suited for us. Barcelo Maya Colonial: Fabulous food!

The room was great, the beaches beautiful and the grounds well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent selection of restaurants and were pleased with them all. Our only disappointment was the ocean availability; there was really only one small area to swim and although the beach was long, for the most part, we couldn't enter the water because of rocks. However, the pools were numerous and great fun. I did enjoy the water aerobics as well.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Beautiful resort and beautiful people

The resort is massive with a lot of stuff for the whole family. Front desk staff could have been a little more accommodating,b ready for a long check in process. The rooms are beautiful and well kept.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: I could be to harsh?!?!?

If you like to snorkel the variety of fishes will amaze you... The Resort is too big and there is a huge difference in service and food from one hotel to the next. The a la carte Restaurants are not the best except the Mexican Restaurant (great food and service). The room was clean but the way the service comes in waves( 9:00 am towels are taken, 11:00 new towels and 12:00-13:00 floors and beds) is not so friendly. The beach is nice but the [... read more] ocean has some barriers to brake the waves and at times the water at its deepest would not be more than 4 ft deep.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing Home Away from Home

Fantastic resort, great value, friendly staff, good food and drinks. All around great resort. My wife and I going back again in October for our 9'th visit. Have been going there on average every 8 months for number of years now. have tried a couple of other resorts but keep coming back here. They always make us feel like we are at home and we and to us this is our cottage. It is a larger resort composed of 3 larger resorts basically rolled into one. There is a good shuttle system to get you arou [... read more]nd, though a little walking would not hurt given the extra food consumed. The buffets are very good as are the a la cartes. Would highly recommend.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Amazing Resort!!!!! :)

This resort has something for everyone!!! My wife and I took our second trip to this resort last June for 1 week for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The resort made my wife and I feel very special. When we came back form the pool, they had put a bottle of wine in the room and a note wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the very large swimming pools. The people of Palladium are the friendliest, happy go lucky people. It was always a pleasure to stop and talk with the staff. The night shows were amazing! We felt very safe in Mexico, we took a cab to Play del Carmen for a shopping trip and had a wonderful time off the resort. I rate this resort at 5 stars.... Looking forward to our next visit!!!

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Sandos Playacar

This was our first all-inclusive experience so I really don't have anything to compare it with. We went as a couple and decided against going to an "adults only" as we didn't think it really mattered. The problem was that everywhere we were at Sandos Playacar we were thinking about how much the kids would enjoy everything they have to offer. The crepe station, the animals, the beach and pools, the biking, the cupcake shop, the games…We would love to return just to see our three kids enjoy it.  [... read more]The service was so genuinely friendly, everyone was wonderful. The pools were great but the beach was gorgeous and much nicer than the section which is closer to Playa del Carmen (we know because we walked the whole beach to town). The food selection was amazing at the buffets and the fish in particular was outstanding. I wouldn't bother with the reservations for the a la carte restaurants again. Really, I didn't think it was worth the effort and in many cases I thought the food was better at the buffet (which I did not expect). Service of course was still fantastic. Our room was in the section farther from the beach but it was nice and I preferred to have to walk a bit although they did have a shuttle. It was on the ground floor, very clean but it did smell a bit musty. I didn't bother saying anything to the staff though as we just opened the doors and turned on the fan and it was fine. I might try a floor up next time to see if there's a difference. There was also a quieter pool just outside our door with another bar and food station. There are many options here for you to do whatever you like which should make a larger family very happy.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Wonderful Resort

This was our second time at this resort. We chose vip and it was well worth it. Besides having a ground floor that was oceanfront we had our own space to sit with comfortable loungers. The food at the buffet was always delicious with lots of variety. The Mexican restaurant was our favourite a la carte. The food was delicious and they had wonderful staff. The shows every night had a theme and the entertainment staff works so hard to provide wonderful shows and dancing and singing. They also keep  [... read more]everyone busy during the day with everything from yoga and Zumba to games like darts and bocce ball. The grounds are beautiful with lush garden and we were amazed at how hard they work to keep everything so clean. The only thing you have to watch is the timeshare people approaching you. We just said we were not interested and he left us alone. Would recommend this hotel if you have kids as well. Also we were a five minute cab ride from Playa del Carmen.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: BEST WAY TO SPEND A FAMILY VACATION!!!

The resort was super clean had amazing service the food was exceptional the place overall was the best place to visit if your looking to spend some time in Mexico !!! Water was so blue !!! Needless to say I definitely will be back to vacation here, the staff were also so friendly
