Catalonia Yucatan: Average at best!

The hotel was tired and needed some upgrades. For the price we paid, the food was average at the buffets and the service was average as well. the beach was terrible as it was a lagoon so not much to look at or walk on.

We were very please with Ocean Riviera Paradise resort it was very clean the food was amazing the grounds were very well kept I would go back again we were in the adult building & the adult pool beautiful the beach is very nice also

Grand Oasis Palm: Clean and tidy

First the good- We thought the hotel was quite beautiful looking with lovely well maintained properties. Smells fantastic. However there are some issues with safety - be sure to check locks on adjoining doors. We had an intruder come through and although the hotel staff finally changed our room we didn’t feel they took the intrusion seriously. Food was average although plentiful. All in all an ok vacation but not fantastic

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Awesome family friendly resort

Beautifully manicured lawns and palm trees greet you, waiting for you when you get off shuttle is an ice cold cervaza or margarita 😍, most friendly staff, accommodating clean rooms, good food, great drinks, I could go on......

Riu Flamingos: Wonderful Resort

We had an amazing time. Hotel really great, clean bedroom, awesome service. Paid to go on a snorkel adventure booked from the hotel $85US. It was a fun day. Day trip into Porto Vallarta via a cab. It too was fun and well worth the visit. Lots to do at the hotel they run many activities..

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Good, but a few links to be worked out.

A very clean and well-maintained Resort. The staff were very friendly. The food at the buffet was delectable, as was the Italian and Japanese restaurants, although some of the other restaurants need work. The menu at the Seaside Restaurant was especially disappointing. The thing I found most frustrating about this Resort, was the lack of information regarding the children's activities. At one point we were told about an activity that was supposed to happen, we showed up and it didn't happen. The only reason we knew what happened was sadly we looked up and there was foam floating to the air. My children were very disappointed. Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: Amazing experience

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this resort. The service and quality were exceptional. All the surroundings beautiful and more amenities than you could imagine. Something for everyone.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great resort

The service was excellent. Premium alcohol at all the bars. The Food was excellent, and many options. The decor was modern. Tons of nice little touches to make the vacation extra special! Water shoes recommended for the beach, but the Bali beds were a really nice touch.

Grand Oasis Sens: Awesome resort! Poor staff

The resort itself was amazing. Even had private pool on our deck, staff was unfriendly. Didn’t matter if you were the only person at bar with a tip they still ignored ya. The food was amazing. The restaurant, moonlight amazing food, staff was nice there, and if you have to wait they give you a beeper you can go anywhere on resort and they beep it when your table is ready. Your key card is on your bracelet so you never lose your key which is cool. My biggest problem, our second last day som [... read more]eone called our room at 5:44am saying that the police were on way to arrest us which terrified me because my boyfriend and I was sleeping since 9pm the night before, they spoke very little English and when I lost it on them saying there was no way in hell police should be on way because we did nothing wrong we have been sleeping all night , they asked if I spoke Español and then said sorry sorry and hung up. I asked The lobby about it later on in the morning and they didn’t seem to care at all , they just pushed me off. Room service came around at supper time instead of morning which was hard to relax in the room not knowing if or when they were to show

Riu Flamingos: The resort needs same work

Area OK food very poor,pool ok,room average,service good,tipping terrible and no make eny difference . Sleeping after 3 am ok before it's very noisy.The staf it's more interesting in the tips then the services,the beer plastic cups is not washed god and you can test the last drink.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great resort!

Our hotel was really nice, and in the adult only section right beside the pool. Staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything. The layout of the resort was great, although the beach was quite far from our hotel. The breakfast buffet only opened at 6:30 am and we left at that time. It would’ve been nice to have a small breakfast before leaving. The water pressure on the jacuzzi was slow, but not a deal breaker, you just need to think ahead before wanting to use the jacuzzi. Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: once again an amazing trip

we just came back from the Valentin for the 11th time! yes I said "11 times" in the last 5 years. This resort is Amazing! The food is awesome, never got sick from eating at the Valentin. The quality of the food is great, always consistent, never a disappointment. The staff is also great, several of them made a point to talk to us because they recognized us from previous visit. They work hard and we ALWAYS tip them which is a reason why they recognized us. Would anybody do this in Canada? why do it in a poor country where the service is better than most restaurant back home. Awesome place, do not hesitate to book at this resort.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Amazing trip!!!

This resort was amazing! I would definitely go back and would highly recommend. Beach - I love going to the beach and swimming in the ocean. I'd been to Mexico before and knew that some of their beaches were quite rocky, there were coral reefs and not the pristine beaches of Cuba. I did a bit of research and this area of Cancun seemed to have the best beaches. I was not disappointed! Hotel/grounds - This is a big resort. There seems to be a quieter end and an end that's more catered towards partying. We were, luckily, located in the quieter end and couldn't have asked for a better spot! Close to the stairs on the second floor and nothing was more than a 5 minute walk in either direction. We had a swim up pool bar on our end, entrance to the beach, a coffee shop and multiple restaurants to choose from. The grounds were lush and well maintained and there were wild peacocks roaming about. Service - Service was good. No one seemed to press for tips and they were all appreciative when they were offered. There were always lots of staff around to answer questions/help out. Food - We had the grand oasis bracelets (not the pyramid exclusive) and there were still 16 restaurants to choose from and over 12 bars. We didn't have time to try them all on our week there! All of the food was fantastic, in particular the BBQ. I don't think there was any meal that I didn't enjoy. I loved that the 'a la carte' restaurants didn't require reservations. To avoid the wait, eating earlier than the majority of the crowd was an option but anytime we had to wait for a table wasn't more than 20-30 minutes. Entertainment - This is billed as the entertainment resort and it didn't disappoint! Smaller versions of 'cirque du soleil' style show 5 nights per week, a casino on site, nightly cabaret and other entertainment. There was also a night club and several bars. There wasn't a shortage of entertainment any night of the week. Location - The hotel is on the strip in Cancun so for $1USD you can hop on the bus that goes up to the market or the city in a matter of minutes. We didn't do any excursions this trip but there were plenty available nearby.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Great resort!

The hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained. Our room was perfectly cleaned every day.The pools, even the lobby were always looked after by the hotel workers. A special thank you to Miguel who worked his magic with kindness and patience. It was greatly appreciated. The only low point would be the pressure sales tactics for the Premium program which is essentially a time share. We were told it would be informational in the case we would want to go back. It down right pressure sale techni [... read more]ques with less than a human touch. Actually the ladies we talked to where rude and lacked kindness altogether. It was the only challenge met during our week.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Wonderful Resort

Really liked the resort. Had a hard time finding a resort that we could go to for only a 5 day trip as we had time restrictions and most only offer a minimum of 7 days all inclusive. The food was great and staff very friendly. Rooms older but clean. Evening shows very enjoyable and nice 30 min walk into Bucerias.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: amazing resort

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

Hard Rock did not let us down. Everything from food and drinks was amazing!!! only thing i would change would be that there was no real beach. Otherwise fantastic service and amenities. Amazing family vacation.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Adequate Resort

The Sunscape Resort was very presentable and the staff were very helpful, there a few issues that I had to bring to their attention. First when you book for oceanview, l don’t expect to be looking at a condo and oceanview you had to hang over the balcony to see the oceanview. That was corrected and they changed the room 927(9th Floor). There are other issues that came up during our stay, such as not enough towels in the bathroom (had to call as they wouldn’t leave enough for 2 people) The 2  [... read more]elevators for the smaller tower which had 9 floors, only 1 was working for most of our stay. Sometimes we would take the stairs due to too many people in the elevator. The last day they had both elevators working. Then on the second last day before coming home, I noticed that the room had a unusual odour. I asked Rick if he could smell it and he asked me if the toilets weren’t backed up. (The smell was like sewage and I called Front Desk and had maintenance have a look at the situation.) Maintenance guy said it was the A/C,and to correct the problem he opened up the air conditioning vent and put 2 coffee packages opened to cover up the smell. So the room smelled like coffee sewage(gross smell) What they should have done is transferred us to a better room and they then could corrected the problem and not try to mask the problem.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Unforgettable family vacation

We had an awesome time at our recent stay at Iberostar Playa Mita. It was recommended to us by friends with kids and they were right! We brought our 3 year old and 5 month old and they had a blast! Friendly staff, immaculately clean, good food and drink, fun entertainment and beautiful beach/view. We will definitely come again and will bring more friends and family.

Grand Oasis Palm: Beautiful Resort

We stayed at the Grand Oasis Palm in April 2018. The staff was friendly and helpful. The resort is very clean. The food is very good. The beach is great and the pool areas are clean and well cared for. Loved the adults only area. The only complaint would be that our room smelled musty.
