Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: The most is a 4 stars

I'd booked with tripcentral with high floor & king bad, but when arrived, non of them happened. Next day, they moved us to the room that we'd requested, but nightmare started. it's nice to have Jacuzzi in every room , but if not well maintained, it means trouble, we'd found water on the floor in the second night of the new room, called house keeping & they came & fixed it, next night after used the Jacuzzi, same thing happened but worse, they came again & fixed, worsts happened at the second las [... read more]t night, water flooded all over the room, they'd spent 3 hours to get it fixed, room was fully booked that night, so couldn't change & we went to bed at 2am. Next day they'd moved us to a better room but that was our last night stayed. One more thing I'd observed for the shuttle bus, this is a huge resort, that's so nice to have the shuttle bus for the guests, obviously the drivers usually gave the Spanish speaking guests a better treat, they always asked those people if they wanted the ride & I also found the shuttle bus always has a sign which are shown 'Spa Shuttle' or 'Special Shuttle'. They have a reason not picking us up on the way. Don't forget, walking under the hot sun & at the open area, haha! This was our third time to this resort, sorry to see their condition is getting down each time. the reason we kept coming back because we had a fantastic vacation on our first visit 4 years ago. This probably the last time!

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Fabulous resort

Great adults only resort! We would highly recommend this resort, we travel twice a year, and our travel agent has wanted to come to this property for a very long time...now I can see why. It will be difficult to find another resort with the same quality! Very clean well kept property. Staff are friendly & very accomodating. Great location for Playa del Carmen. Barcelo Maya Colonial: great family resort

Love this place. Superb place for families with young children. Been there twice will probably return again soon. Splash pad and amazing pools is what keeps us coming back. Food is above average. Beach really nice too. No walking everything close.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: GREAT TIME

I first went to the Grand Sirenis in October 2012 for 12 days and had a wonderful time with the beach's, hotel, restaurants and the staff. I had such a good time I went back in April 2014 with my family and their kids (13 people, 6 kids and 7 adults), everyone had a ball and I would love to return in the near future.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Nice Place

Rooms are big and clean. The grounds are big and vary clean also. Food was good. To many people and under staffed. The beach was ok. But not enough beach/pool chairs. Too big of a resort for me. I love Cancun/Mayan Riviera because they have alot of great excursions. Lots to see and do.

Catalonia Yucatan: Nice resort , poor beach

The resort is very good , food is very good , with welcoming margaritas everyday , but the beach sucks big time. There is little bit sand on one side of the beach , but the water... U need shoes to go inside. The bottom is all rocks , and full of weeds, so is very ruff and sliperry. The one nice thing they have on site and i didn t find anywhere else, is the snorkeling. Ocean Coral by H10: Amazing resort!

The hotel was very clean, offered all types of amenities and facilities; staff was helpful and friendly; we were upgraded to a premium ocean view room, located right by the beach. The food was very diverse and delicious!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Beautiful Resort

Was pleasantly surprised! Being that this was the least expensive package, I was kind of worried but it turned out to be a great hotel. Lobby was OK, not grand or outstanding, but decent. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Grounds were beautiful and clean. One pool and buffet near the 3 buildings by the lobby, restaurants, etc. Very nice. Very large, warm and clean. Great time there. Beach was lovely, nice white sand and lots of shade. Water, however, was kind of murky and a lot of seaweed at entrance. Best part of this area was the SWING BAR!! Met so many nice people here and had a blast. Bar staff were great - name brand liquors. Food was great. Very easy to get reservations to a la cartes and they were all very good. Went to one every night. Rooms were very nice and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Grounds surrounding room were lovely, our balcony was very nice - quiet and relaxing as we were on the end of the building. Very large shower with lots of hot water. Parts I didn't like were the corridors leading to the room were old with paint peeling on the walls. Elevator was really old and dirty. The 24 hr sports bar was kind of plain and the entertainment area had NO air flow at all. Very, very hot and stuffy - we had to leave before the show finished. And the show was kind of silly with not so great acting. Dancing was good though. Also, the lobby staff tricked us into a "time share" presentation that took our whole morning. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would probably go back.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Wobderful and Relaxing

This was our third trip to the Gran Bahia Sian Ka"an .We wre there fron June 14th to June 21st to celebrate my 60 th Birthday.From the time we arrived until the time we left the Staff and management were amazing.This time we stayed in the Penthouse suite ,beautiful big room with a roof top Hot tub,loungers and table and chairs, very relaxing.Food was always plentuful and delicious at the buffet and the A la Cart restaurants were exceptional except we found that the Mexican Restaurants food was b [... read more]land and very little choice.But what a view!If you get to the Sian Ka'a beach you will be delighted with the fantastic service Martha provides ,she made our stay so much fun.One thing we did notice this time was that the air conditiong wasn't working well at most of the la Cart restaurants .Maybe it was just the time of year.We are looking forward to coming back in the near future with some friends to enjoy the beautiful peace of paradise.

Clean, spacious, friendly and fun. We enjoyed the quality of food and the impeccable service from the staff. We felt our children were safe and well taken care of with activities and made to feel important. We are planning another stay this March break at the same resort.

The food was good, lots to do, staff friendly and also there for you and the grounds were beautiful... the whole family had a fantastic time and this is only the second resort I would return to out of all I've stayed at

Grand Sunset Princess: Almost perfect!

Staff was excellent, resort well maintained & clean. Only complaint was a room mix up upon check in, had to wait 2 days to be fixed. Otherwise it was fabulous!! This resort is big though, so you'd better love walking!

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Paradise

Absolutely no complaints. Perfect food, service,entertainment. Very clean rooms and grounds. Great location. Just steps from 5th avenue. Great beach. No problem finding chairs or towels. Can't wait to get back.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: was OK

We LOVE Mexico. This resort was toooo European for us. Too white, no color. We much prefer the atmosphere of Tulum, Coba etc. It was very clean and the pools were beautiful. The language barrier was terrible. My husband forgot his $700 RX sunglasses on the breakfast table one morning. We KNEW that's where they were left. We went back to get them but no one knew where they were. We know that one of the staff HAD to have taken them because no guest would sit down at a table with someone else's bel [... read more]ongings there. The Trolly service to the other resorts was wonderful. But we would not stay at the resort again.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: fantastic

We stayed here on our honeymoon. Our first 5 star and first time in Mexico. We were treated with all the amenities and the service and food was excellent. can't wait to go back and enjoy the beaches, food, and staff

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: First time in Mexico - great experience!

Immaculate grounds and friendly staff. Would suggest more venues for night life for adults, like the all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic in Punta Cana provide. Fell safer off the resort in Mexico than in the DR. Trip to Playa Del Carmen was a highlight. Joined up with friends who were making their 5th trip to this resort.

Grand Riviera Princess: Amazing resort!!!!

We've been to the grand riviera princess three times now and LOVE it!!!! It's our resort and will definitely be going back again!!! Everything was clean and the service is wonderful!!! The beach is also very clean and beautiful!!! A great place to go to!!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Very nice resort

Overall the facility was well kept. The rooms need some work but they are spacious. The beach had numerous lounge chairs and the pool was clean. The food was very good at the restaurants as well as the buffet. The staff was friendly.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Loved it

Food was great,well presented and professionally delivered. Staff were always helpful and accommodating grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The beach was spectacular but often no chairs if you went before late afternoon so the pool as an alternative was the option. A truly enjoyable and restful vacation.

Bel Air Collection Xpu-Ha Riviera Maya: A Local Zoo NOT a Resort

The room was okay but the staff could barely speak English. They re-keyed our room card three times with no explanation. The beach we were shuttled to was okay but the food they shuttled out was scary to eat as sometimes it was not on ice. The one main restaurant was good but became repetative. Using the animals in the Zoo for pictures to get money...wanted $20 to take a picture and the smell of the animals throughout the resort...bad. They even had local children doing a Zoo tour. This was not  [... read more]a resort. Just a local hotel and Zoo trying to make money. We will never return and will not recommend this resort to anyone.
