Las Brisas Huatulco: An enjoyable break

Very attentive staff, close to town, 3 beaches all very nice. Music at the pool not to our liking And also people were leaving their towels on deck chairs while going for lunch, and taking prime shade areas for hours at a time.

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Not great

Room was nothing spectacular. THE toilet backed up often. Had to buy your own bottled water for your room. Had to call room service for face cloths almost everyday. Last day no maid service. Plugs in room were all loose hard to get them to work. No air conditioning the first 24"hrs. There's a brand new resort being built very close to the building so very noisey which also blocks your partial view of the ocean. Food was not that great. Have been to Cancun several times and this was our first disappointing trip.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: 3 resorts in 1

Very large resort. A la cartes were awesome! Excellent shopping within the resort. Lots of walking as it is very spread out. Very disappointed with the beach and the fact we could not order room service.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Amazing resort

The rooms are big enough and clean. The Staff are nice. The are many pools, for kids and adults. It’s little bit far from Puerto Vallarta( around 40min). You can play golf. It’s very secure resort. We had a good time.

Crown Paradise Golden: Exceptional Week

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food was good. Rooms and building very clean. Very close to the airport. Only issues - hard to get reservations for restaurants at the Crown Paradise and could use more shade on the beach.

Occidental Cozumel: A Fine Resort

We chose this resort, partly because we had been there 2-years ago. (We've also been to COZUMEL six times to other resorts there) Since the last time, there has been a substantial overhaul, due, partially to the hotel becoming part of the BARCELO group. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay

Riu Flamingos: Espectacular Resort

Beautiful hotel we can found all our expectations. Services room and cleaned very professional. Excellent food and very clean and extraordinary people in service. A lot entertainment and pools close the private beach

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great Vacation

Traveled as a couple for one week from Toronto. The grounds here are phenomenal, extremely well maintained. We never saw a single bug or anything dirty the entire week. The room was huge 3402 luxury jaccuzzi suite, comfy beds and very clean. A/C was ice cold, although so was the shower water, I had 7 cool showers, and she had about 4 hot ones. probably the 4th floor and timing to blame. Food was good, never went hungry, always some form of chicken, pork and fish. Could have used a bit  [... read more]better veggies, but we did have nice broccoli one day. Breakfast was the best meal, with short lines for the omelet bar and fresh waffles. Fruit was amazingly tasty and fresh, but not much available after breakfast. Resort was large but felt very small because of good locations for everything. Avoided the beach due to seaweed season, but the beach bbq and entertainment was great. Drinks were super fresh, with fresh fruit used in most girly drinks. I rocked strawberry daquiris for 7 days, ask for the better liquor of your choice when ordering. Pools were large and clean, kids were plentiful but never felt that they were all over. we never got to use the adult side due to the towel idiots that come out at 6 am to claim the chairs and don't use them until 3 pm. Kids side was more fun anyways. There was a pizza restaurant on the kids side and ninja turtles galore, kids were having a blast. Not gonna lie, i took a few pics of the turtles in costume running around, im an 80's kid Took the free trip to Playa del Carmen, we recommend if you want to swim on a nice beach and snorkel take this trip and just hit the beach instead of shopping. Sea turtles, sting rays and lots of fish. resort had small to medium iguanas just chilling out by the pool areas, not friendly per se, but we fed a few. We stayed at Secrets Silver Sands next door a few years back and it was amazing as well. if you are doing adults only, i recommend Secrets, but for a 5 star kid friendly place, this was perfect.

Melia Puerto Vallarta: Good family resort

As a family trip we really enjoyed this resort it was not to big not to small just a nice size, food was good, service was good? We would stay here again and recommend it. The only little disappointment was we notified them that it was a special Anniversary but it was not acknowledged.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great resort, I enjoyed the atmosphere. Clean rooms, great restaurants. Service was awesome!

A great place for a vacation. I went for the pools and relaxation and got that. The choices of Restaurants were good. The entertainment was good at night ,thoroughly enjoyed Grease. The service was very good! Pools were awesome! Unfortunately a lot of seaweed on the beach.....if you want a beach, this may not be your first choice. I am not sure I agree there should be a dress code for men at dinner but not woman, sexist.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful resort

We stayed at this resort 6 years ago and decided to spend my 50th bday here again. We love this place and especially Guy Fieris restaurant on 5th Ave! We actually ate there twice.we just love5th Ave! We had the lobster on the beach again but to be honest the first time we had it it was a much better experience,more intimate and the dishes leading up to the lobster was also better. Over all this resort is beautiful and the staff are ALL attentive to your needs and they all make you feel very special. Allegro Cozumel: Best ever resort

This resort was a tropical paradise with beautiful lush grounds maintained to the highest standard.. we never saw any garbage bins overflowing all lights on walkways and buildings were working and romantics in its lighting . The staff was always parked in public areas ( bathrooms) pools cleaning non stop! The pools were immaculate and a choice of three .. adult fun pool with a swim up bar and the pool staff kept us entertained and having fun all day .. waiters to serve your every drink!! There was also a kids water park that had a life guard and you could spend hours playing with your kids beautifully kept and lots of fun!! The food was very good great choices and lots of it alway hot and fresh and a staff that waited on you hand and foot !! The bars were well stocked and the sports bar had premium liquor!! The a la carte restaurants were a 10!! The food and service to die for especially the Asian !! Maid service was prompt and every day we had a new towel animal!! They did a fantastic job of stocking our fridge and the rooms and balconies were spotless every day.. each room had its own balcony hammock a wonderful touch.. all in all for the price we paid we had a lovely time not to menu the beach snorkeling scuba diving and other water activities.. I recommend a special coffee at the beach and catch the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen!! I traveled there with 13 family members two of them children and we all had a great time made some lovely memories I give the allegro a 10... and would go again !!

Secrets Vallarta Bay: Nice resort

The wait staff is tremendous - special shout out to Manuel B, Manuel C and Israel. Their bar/wait service was outstanding. Thanks to Panda for making me feel extra special on my birthday, and thanks to Christian for listening to my concerns. Also a big thank you to Alejandro at the Market Cafe (buffet) - my mornings were always fabulous thanks to him and his colleagues. I would also highly recommend the lovely young woman who provides massage therapy on the beach. I wish I remembered her name -  [... read more]she is amazing. The hotel is nice looking. Rooms, pools, bars and restaurants are all lovely to look at. The beach is not swim-able due to the very rocky shore. Overall, my stay was OK although the cleaning service in my room was very minimal even though I left a generous tip every day. I always had to call down for towels when I got back to my room, and when I had room service and left dishes in the room service "box", I discovered a smell after a couple of days and realized the food had not been cleaned out of this "pick-up" box. The counter tops in the room where never cleaned. I have been to other Secrets resorts and will continue to explore them but will not go back to this one.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Nice resort

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Food is good but hard to get reservations to restaurants. Out of the way for shopping or just walking around. Not suitable for people with mobility issues pools are great and adult pool is great with no kids allowed you have choice of either

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Iberostar Tucan

It was paradise. The grounds were amazing. Everything very well looked after . Nice to have wilderness mixed in with the resort. The workers were great ..polite. We would definitely return. The food was very tasty. The 5 alacart restaurants were good.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great Last-Minute Getaway

Great value for the last-minute deal we got! Sunwing package was well organized, contact people easy to find, very smooth check in process. The main floor junior suite we were given was well equipped with liquor, minibar, recently updated bathroom, and comfortable bed. Food was fine, plenty of choices at the buffets, enjoyed the Indian and Japanese a la cart restraints too. Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Not so great resort

The room had a wet mouldy smell. It had an adjoining door which we could hear the people talking and they had an infant crying all hours of the night. We asked to change our room but they couldn't. Very disappointed with the hotel. Will not go back.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Very relaxing

Awesome resort, excellent service very clean rooms. Food was excellent. Always activities to attend . New cafe bar I loved . I really have nothing negative to say. Will definitely be returning next year!

Temptation Resort & Spa: Impressive resort !

From service to cleanliness to staff and entertainment, this was by far one of the most wonderful resorts we have ever been to !!!!!!! The service and friendliness of staff was remarkable. The restaurants and food was amazing and nightly shows exciting. We would definitely return.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Fabulous Resort

To be honest, I was a bit worried about the reviews before we went.... The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well maintained and the beach is huge! We found all the staff be great, as they will go above and beyond to get you whatever you need. The Aqua fit sessions, bingo and other games with Nahum at the main pool, were easy and fun to do with great music. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable with 2 pillows, one soft and one firm, located right beside the quiet adult pool & bar, perfect for couples! A short walk into town or to a large grocery store and there is horseback riding close by. You really can't beat this all inclusive resort for the price and it's gorgeous pools, staff and beach. We'll be back for sure.
