Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Been to many resorts, but this one was the best.

One thing I liked was no wrist bands, no towel tags and no reservation required at the specialty restaurants. My room was upgraded to a king size bed and guess what it also had a loft!!!. The bathroom was equipped with a double sink and the shower was fantastic. Our room attendant kept our room we'll cleaned and well stocked and turned down with goodies and an occasional flower. The service at all the restaurants was exceptional the waiters friendly and helpful. For example my grandson who does  [... read more]not like sushi and wanted French fries, the waiter made a special trip to another restaurant to get him some fries. This was the type of service we always received. There was always someone cleaning and the area was always spotless. The bartenders who were always very busy did an outstanding job. They were even great making special drinks for the grand kids. The entertainment was varied and exciting. While sitting on the beach we were never without a drink because the beach servers were always ready to serve. The programs for the kids were great especially the explorer club where the caregivers kept them busy. Guess what else ,my older grandson took scuba lessons and even went diving in the ocean. All in all it was an exceptional vacation.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Great Vacation Spot

Outstanding week in the sun for a family wedding - location for the ceremony was on the ocean in a large gazebo - very beautiful!! Rooms were excellent: large, well maintained and very clean. Great food with lots of options. Two super pools with bars and a good beach with reef for snorkeling; lots of sea life to see. But the best had to be the very attentive staff at Dreams, they provided excellent friendly service throughout our stay.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Simply Amazing!

The Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort was fantastic. The restaurants have a wonderful selection of foods to satisfy everyone. We had one little guy with us who is a picky eater and we were able to get something for him to enjoy every day, every meal! The resort, small in size, has lounge chairs and shade in abundance, loads of fun activities for adults and children and was constantly being cleaned and raked. Nice variety of evening shows, indoors and out....even an outdoor movie night for children! [... read more] For those who do not like to vacation with little ones there is an adult area with pool, bar, and restaurant. My husband and I decided to relax in this area for one day and found that you couldn't hear anything from the family area, and this was very nice. Rooms were kept clean, with plenty of towels, very good water pressure, and lots of hot water. Nothing seems to be overlooked when it comes to guest comfort, even sunscreen was left in the rooms. I have never seen this in a resort before and was quite impressed with this added touch. I should mention that we were a group of 11 including 3 children. Every one of us had a fantastic time and would return again, most definitely!

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Highly recommended!

The food, service and facilities were great! Best all inclusive may family and I have visited. No reservations at the a-la-cartes worked great, you walked into your choice without waiting...it was a great experience!

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Unhappy Customer

This hotel is definitely not the 4.5 or 5 star that it claims to be! I arrived Saturday afternoon and by the time I woke up Sunday morning I had a bacterial infection from the food already. I was sick the entire week I was there, and was unable to enjoy the food/alcohol. On top of this, I found cauliflower worms in the cauliflower/cheese dish at the buffet. The kitchen staff was apologetic and they sent me a bottle of champagne and chocolates to my room to apologize for the incident. The AC wasn [... read more]'t working in our room and we called twice to have it repaired. Both times, the staff said it was fixed and working, but it never did. It didn't go below 25 degrees the whole week. The beach was a disaster with piles and heaps of seaweed coating the shore and the ocean itself, so we were only able to swim a couple of times. This should have been something that we were told about ahead of time - the other resort further down the beach had no seaweed and the water was clear/clean. Overall, the staff was very friendly and we received good service, but the resort itself was not what it claims to be. I will NEVER return to this resort again.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great resort!! Been there four times!!

Dreams Punta Cana has beautiful grounds, great food, friendly staff. Great beach front. Oceana restaurant has a million dollar view. Rooms are dated but clean and neat. Entertainment is ok. Core zone has lots for teens to do.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Great time at great resort!

We have stayed in this resort in mid December for a week, and had great time. Friendly staff, swimming pools, and food were amazing. Beach was good too, however seaweeds and windy weather did not let us enjoy the ocean as much. Entertainment was OK. Good size resort for families. Overall great vacation.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: underwhelmed

Everything was just ok. Beach was very small and weedy, Restaurant options were limited and long waits to be seated. Buffet was ok. Little variety and often cold. Very noisy. Overall very disappointed.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Great Resort - Repeat visitor 3rd time

The Dreams Palm Beach is a great resort, which prides itself on customer service. (Note you will find a sour face in the crowd, but for the most part all staff are eager to please.) The grounds are immaculately kept as are the pools. The beach is not the nicest due to the tremendous amount of seaweed that gets washed up on shore. There is staff cleaning it on a daily basis, but keeping up with the clean up is difficult. The rooms are a nice size and are renovated (at least block 21 where we stay [... read more]ed), maid service is excellent, always enough towels and stocked fridge with beverages. The food at this resort is excellent. Keep in mind you are in a foreign country and therefore some food items are prepared differently than how we are accustomed, e.g. desserts. The Seaside Grill excellent food, unfortunately our experience with service in this restaurant was not great. The World Cafe (buffet) had a variety of food and was different daily, excellent staff and service. The Japenese restaurant great atmosphere and entertainment, but a lot of sodium in the food. Mexican was average, and the French and Italian not enjoyed. Entertainment was good; my son enjoyed the beach volley ball tournament against the hotel management. While it was a great idea, the lack of sportsmanship exhibited by the General Manager - Pedro Tomas was suprising given that his job is to cater to guests. It was more important to win at all costs. The only smile you saw was after they won. Very disappointing. In closing, nice resort with many extras that make this a better choice for your vacation.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Awesome resort

From the gardeners to the chef it was the best bang for your dollar. Food was outstanding and it was nice to see the manager walking around to make sure everyone was being treated to the best service.

Dreams La Romana: The Best of The Best

Just 45 mins drive from the Airport, on a great new road, Dreams really lived up to its name. Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: totlally awesome

everything was perfect. the food was perfect in all the restaurants and i found the staff to be more than accommodating. the ground were flawless and the gardens beautiful. the children's club was very well run. i would truly recommend this resort to any family.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Amazing food and service!

The staff were wonderful. The food was great! Lots of options and variety with quality products! The weather was disappointing as there was a lot of seaweed on the sand which prevented us from going in the water. This was mostly likely due to inclement weather from the week before that stirred up the shoreline. Either way the Dreams staff were diligently working throughout the week to clear off the sand. By day 4 we could go in the water!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: amazing resort

The hotel was beautiful and food was amazing! The pool was extremely large and he best drinks were at the swim up bar (banana momma). We went to the show every night with my 8 year old daughter and she loved them. The beach wasn't the greatest but if you walked a bit it got better. I've all an amazing place to be in a wedding.

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Great getaway

This hotel is in a great location. Nice Sandy beach with a few different pools. Staff are attentive and very nice. Food is good and varied. Restaurants are easy to get into with no reservations required.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great trip

Dreams punta Cana has amazing service and a beautiful resort. My sister had her wedding there and the wedding planner Yessica was amazing. The bathrooms could use some updating in the regular rooms and I wish the beach didn't have rocks so you could swim anywhere. The entertainment staff were so much fun at the pool and I will definitely miss all the ladies that worked at the cafe.

Dreams was a nice resort right on the beach the pools were a little smaller than average but clean we stayed in the "deal of the day" room 312 not the best views but the room was awesome with a huge bathroom and large wrap around deck it was on the corner so it was real private the food selection could have been better but the 24 hour room service was awesome, nice stay. We visited puerto aventuras, shopped and visit a little bar at the marina called HooHaa Restaurant and Bar a great little plac [... read more]e with karaoke, nightly entertainment and the best seafood in the area, the staff were super friendly and the owners personally greeted us at our table, they had great appetizers too. We would highly recommend a visit to HooHaa it's a short 5-7 minute walk from the resort also you can watch the dolphins swimming while you have drinks and lunch!

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great Resort

We recently traveled to Dreams Punta Cana for 10 days. The resort was very clean and the staff extremely friendly. We had some trouble with our room the first day, the key card wouldn't work after three attempts to activate and we were in a different room from which we originally booked. They were able to switch us by the next day. The restaurants had amazing food and great service. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday!

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Great family resort

Overall, this resort would be good for families, but not as great for couples looking to relax. The food was good with a lot of variety at the a la carte restaurants. We were not impressed with the beach as it was small and rocky. Cannot comment on the pools as we did not use them. The service was great, there was always somebody around and everybody was willing to help.
