Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: wonderful resort

This resort was wonderful. The only think I would recommend is that there was more adults only spaces for the restaurants and areas around the adults only rooms. The service at the excellence club was great. Only concern was kids walking around the adult pools.

Occidental Tucancun: Fantastic resort all around

My husband I recently stayed at the Occidental Tucancun and we had an amazing time. When researching I had really liked the fact that it was a smaller resort than what was around and it had fewer people. This was great when it came to finding chairs on the beach and around the pool, you didn’t have to wake up super early to reserve one! Also with food the wait and line up was non existent. You can eat as many times as you want in every restaurant (some have a limit to 4 per 7 day stay). The thing that really made the resort special was the people. They remember you every day and make you feel very special. The drinks at every bar were always good, they have all your typical beach drinks and mojitos! The beach was always clean and weed free, it is very wavy on the beach so if your a weak swimmer or prefer to snorkel it may not be the best spot for you, but to jump around and dive with goggles was very fun. The whole hotelera zona is more windy and wavy but it is still warm and very swim-able. The beach is really long so you can walk for 20 minutes in each direction which is cool! Our room was on the top floor and we had a balcony overlooking the resort, it was always clean and restocked well. Overall we will definitely be going back when we are in Cancun again.

Atelier Playa Mujeres: Very nice resort

We had an oceanfront Inspira king size room. Located on the 5th floor. I wasn’t sure Inspira was worth it and now I can say we really enjoyed spending time at the rooftop pool (only available for Inspira before 6:00pm). We love the beach which is great, but during our 2 week stay there were events/conferences so it got a little loud, so we would escape to the rooftop. The hotel is modern, new and very nice. A1! Still a few glitches but nothing major. I understand that conferences mi [... read more]ght take place at the hotel, but this should not dilute the “regular” client’s experience because one restaurant is closed, or there is excess noise. All in all, I would return. The rooms, the beach and the restaurants were perfect.

Grand Oasis Palm: Not impressed at all

I booked with Grand Oasis Palm, paying a higher price than other family members who booked oasis palm. when we arrived we were told Grand Oasis and Oasis where now in the same building, but that Grand oasis guests had better rooms with more modern furniture. What a joke ! Room in the first floor had better furniture. We didn’t even get an ocean view so we payed more a lot more for nothing !! Buffet for Grand Oasis was pretty much the same as the buffet for Oasis, again we payed a lot more  [... read more]for no difference. We did not bother to try anything else as we felt we were Just overcharged for nothing. i was told I could use both Oasis and Grand Oasis amenities but guess what, there was only one crowded pool as the “grand oasis” building and pool became and adults only resort, not for us. Most of the people at the hotel were good but a few, believe me, they should not be the on this business, they have no idea of how to treat people! Please DON’T FALL on this trap. It is a waste of your hard earned money. I’m actually putting a formal claim as this is false advertisement. !! And please Oasis Palm or Grand Oasis palm Mgr. DO NOT BOTHER to reply with your copy and paste/ FIT ALL response, that I would never come back or recommend this place.

TRS Coral: Excellent resort

The pools were warm and clean. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food was excellent for an all-inclusive resort with a wide variety of options. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Occidental Tucancun: Loved it

The staff were amazing. Super friendly and excellent customer service. The beach is beautiful but the waves were quite large. The pools were lovely with daily entertainment and games by the poolside. There is also an adult only pool which was a quieter area to relax. We had a room with a beautiful panoramic ocean view. The food was decent but was the same every day which got a little old. Had a daily evening performance but no other night life.

Grand Sens Cancun: Excellent Vacation

We had a great time at the Grand Sens from Feb 4th - 14th. We stayed in a standard room, which was kept very clean by staff and had a view of the ocean and pool. Buffet was decent, and we tried all the a la cartes with the exception of Benezuzu as you need to pay for that one if you don't have the Sian K'aan upgrade. White Box had great wood fired pizza but Careyes was our favorite, we did that one twice for lunch and twice for dinner. Pirate show, Burlesque show and Caberet were all excelle [... read more]nt and a lot of fun. Our favorite staff were Lizette and Hervin at the beach, they treated us like old friends and offered very attentive and friendly service. Luis and Hugo at Careyes also provided great care in their service. Beach was not large, but full of soft sand and you could walk out quite a ways into the ocean as there were few rocks or seaweed. Two suggestions - Bali beds at the pool should be replaced with loungers to offer more available seating area. If you didn't get up early enough to reserve a spot you had nowhere to sit as there were only ten beds available and no other ways to sit by the pool. Second, please replace the broken plastic beach loungers, they are a danger to guests who might get injured using them and as there are fewer wooden and blue mesh lounge chairs than plastic ones, they are usually what remains behind for guests who don't get up early enough to reserve the more comfortable chairs. Other than that we have no issues with the resort, it was a great time and we would return.

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Wonderful Family Resort

We stayed at the Panama Jack Cancun hotel in early February 2020. I was celebrating a milestone birthday and they had decorated the room beautifully and left cake and chocolates. This is a smaller resort than we have been to before but they still had plenty to do through your the day. There are 2 buffet restaurants and 3 sit down restaurant one Italian and a Mexican and a casual healthy restaurant. I think that they could improve my rating of the hotel by taking reservations. I would have liked to eat more at the restaurants but my kids are generally impatient and liked to options that the buffets offered. The buffet were rotated for an Asian options and then some kids of grill style. I would have liked to see more Mexican tacos available for every meal as I love them and could eat them all the time. My favourite part of the whole resort was the coffee shop which was always stocked with fresh baked goods and cookies and you could get a expresso or latte. My kids loved the chocolate cookies and the iced coffees. The staff at the coffee shop were lovely. We thought Luis at the coffee shop was fabulous. The beach was amazing and it was super fun to play in the waves and boogie board. The kids loved the waterslides and pool. Adults were not allowed on the waterslides which is unfortunate as I like a fun waterslide! My kids 9 and 11 yrs old were not into the kids club and felt it was too babyish for them. They have the hash tag for 13 yr olds and up. I think this would be a great place for kids 10 and up as the teens were not into going to it so the facility is virtually empty. Some of the staff were super rigid about the age of restriction of the kids. We had to asked for special permission from the manager for our kids to use the hashtag and once they had permission my kids would hang out there every day. It’s a beautiful room and it is a shame that it is not being used by the older kids. I believe they need to lower the age limit as the kids club doesn’t appeal to the kids under 8 yrs old. They need something for the tweens. They had some great shows in the evenings at 8 pm. I would highly recommend the fire show on the beach and the forest circus, and the magic show with the dinner. The Latin and Mexican dancing was great too but didn't Interest my tween boys. The lounge bar has some great bands as well. There is no disco at the resort. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it ! Wish I was back there now !!

The Pyramid Cancun: Fantastic Resort!

This was our second time to the Pyramid at Grand Oasis and we discovered and tried a few more restaurants. Our room was clean with lots of towels, the beach was great although it was windy the week we were there. The evening entertainment is absolutely spectacular. VIP check in/out was fast and efficient and the staff are friendly and courteous. We would definitely recommend this resort.

Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort and Spa: Great resort

I really enjoyed my vacation at the now emerald! Quiet - great staff! The French restaurant was amazing! Both the food and the service!!! I loved the atmosphere- no reservations needed at the restaurants. Lots of towels and chairs. The servers at the beach and pool work very hard to keep you in drinks!

Grand Sens Cancun: Party place

Resort overall is nice layout but is not greatly accessible for people with disabilities even minor ones. The pool water is cold . There are no steps to get in and out .The servers are amazing at bars and restaurants . Coffee place is amazing for product and service. Rooms are comfortable and serviced well. Beds are I think on older side and needing replacement in near future . Used the gym , not all equipment works and no bathroom facilities . Krystal Cancun: Satisfactory Resort

Although Krystal was a dated resort, it was very clean. What made the stay enjoyable was the hard working, friendly and courteous staff. There were only two dining facilities on site with one pool side canteen. The food was good however the buffet was basically the same every day. We would have liked more night time entertainment. Being located in the pristine beach area certainly made this vacation worthwhile. It beats shovelling snow. Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Our Vacation

What a great overall trip. Loved the rooms, Food & atmosphere of the resort. The amount of pools allowed the guests to be spread out and not overcrowded. Wished there were more rooms with ocean views though. The stay was great and was sad to have to leave.

GR Solaris: Lovely resort

This was our second year in a row to spend time at the same resort. This itself proves that the resort is excellent. Not only we were the repeats, but we met with quite a few visitors who come to the same resort year after year.. Our room was large, very comfortable bed with ocean view. Our pleasant surprise each day was to see beautiful animal sculptures made from towels that adorned our bed. These were made by the fellow who looked after the upkeep of our room. Food selection was excellent, [... read more] in spite of us being vegetarians. Excellent Night shows with sit down dinners is the high light of this resort. The whole resort is kept very clean and one can notice that the dedicated staff is always cleaning. Pools are lovely with pool bar. Snacks around the pool are fresh and available in unlimited quantities so are various drinks. Servers do appreciate tips but unlike some other resorts where if servers are not tipped, they tend to neglect visitors...not at this resort. Overall we give this resort 5 stars.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great Holiday

The resort, staff, food, and activities good and the whole family enjoyed our vacation. The only downside with the resort was that most excursions and shopping was an expensive trip into town. Some free shuttles several times a week would have been nice!

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: First family trip success!

We absolutely LOVED this resort for our first all inclusive family trip with our 3 year old and 6 month old. The service from the staff was 5/5. The private pool room was absolutely perfect for the current stage we are in with our two children. Having the “backyard” and pool was so handy for us with our baby napping and entertaining our toddler. One issue with the room would be the slippery showers. Based on trip advisor reviews we knew to bring a bath mat. I think that would be something gr [... read more]eat for the hotel to provide. Otherwise, all necessities were available for our baby to help reduce what we needed to pack. Our toddler loved the kids club splash pad and we look forward to bringing them back and entering our oldest in the day programs. The entertainment was great and we thoroughly enjoyed watching our toddler live his best life during the Superheroes and Princesses show. We loved the Mexican and steakhouse and Buffett was impeccable. Only issue with food would be the buffet should be available every night of the week. Size of the resort was perfect. My mother met the owners of the resort who were visiting from Spain, at the main lobby bar and they were very keen on knowing how our kids were enjoying the resort and were very interested in knowing if their staff were treated well. This sat very well with us. We have already made plans with several couples with children to return to this resort in the future.

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: The best

We loved every second of our vacation at the Grand Moon Palace. We had high expectations and this resort exceeded them all! We will definitely be booking another trip at this same resort Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Grand Sens Cancun: Party Central - Terrible Buffet

We stayed here for 4 nights from Feb 4. This hotel is really geared to a young, party crowd. Very loud music at the pool all afternoon. If you can take the noise, don't expect a good meal at the buffet - been to many resorts and this was the worst - poor variety and all breakfast items were cold everyday. 2 outdoor a la cartes had pretty good food but were too small and service very slow. Beach chairs in very poor condition and all need to be replaced. We will not go back to this or the neighbor [... read more]ing Oasis hotels until we see much improvement in reviews.

Moon Palace The Grand Cancun: Fantastic Vacation!

Just returned from a week at The Grand. It was fantastic. The pros - food was great (especially appetizers), drinks were flowing, resort was clean, and staff were amazing. So many things for kids to do, they will never utter the words "i'm bored". The cons - only thing I can think of is the beach isn't the greatest...but honestly it didn't matter. Would absolutely recommend this resort!

NYX Hotel Cancun: Disappointing holiday

The NYX hotel was somewhat disappointing for us. Upon arrival in our room we discovered our room bar fridge had no drinks at all including water. We asked the front desk and their response was to go buy some. Not a good first impression. The front desk staff were friendly but unwilling or not able to give us a late check out which was disappointing for us as our room generally wasn't cleaned until 3:30 or later every day. On a brighter side, the waiters and bartender were friendly and attentive. Can't say nothing bad about the service. They were all wonderful. The room we had was spacious and gave us a fantastic view however, we felt like we were sleeping on a rock. Our bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard. We woke up every morning to an incredible view which compensated for some of the other let downs.
