Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: AMAZING RESORT!

This hotel is absolutely amazing! From the grounds to the staff.Food was amazing best I've had in Cuba 9.5/10 Beach 10/10 I will be back! Best hotel in Cuba! If your thinking of going to Cuba I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Most Amazing Resort

Most Amazing Resort - 3rd time for us and it just keeps getting better and better. The most amazing staff all around - everyone is on their A game to impress and make your experience an awesome one. Food at the buffet could be better. I found myself eating pasta each evening. Breakfast selection was awesome. Restaurants - amazing. Every thing is so clean. Like I said - 3rd time there. The beach has a lot of seaweed - but that is down to nature - the staff work hard to try to stay ahead of it - but that is some challenge!!

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Good time

Very new and being worked on has I write this! Beautiful beach and pools and very friendly staff . All new plantings and grass needs some time to mature but tastefully done . Restaurants were located close to rooms and on the beach dining. And over water bungalows will be spectacular

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Wonderful experience

I had an overall very enjoyable time while at this resort. The beaches were beautiful and most of the service me and my family experienced was pleasant. My butler took very good care of me and always made sure to check in to make sure that everything was how I liked. The food was okay, and the best a la carte restaurant that me and my family tried was the seafood restaurant.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: First Cuban 5 star

Overall this resort is excellent and definitely worthy of its 5 star rating. It is in fact my first Cuban 5 star and my 6th time in Cuba so I know what to expect and not to expect from here. I’m very aware that Cuba generally doesn’t have the best selection of food and that’s surely not a reason to travel here but sadly I might have gone in with higher expectations than I should have knowing that it’s a 5 star and the food MIGHT be better than I’ve had before. However I always say great service will always make up for poor food and that was the case every time I dined so I won’t harp too much on this issue. Nightly entertainment seemed higher budget as well as the disco then I’ve seen at a resort before, which made them all very entertaining. Overall my week here was absolutely wonderful! Yes its considered to be a bit pricier than your average Cuban vacation but in general still cheap when you start to look at other countries in the Caribbean. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a great week vacation with exceptional staff who seem to enjoy their work!

Very clean well kept. great drinks! Beautiful beach an water. Staff was friendly ND helpfull. Beautiful pool. Good food for Cuba Loved the foam party every 2 days and the night life. Dance jazz or cigar bar!

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Great resort!

The hotel is very nice but it is showing some wear and tear. For example, on several occasions I got chipped plates or cups at the a la carte restaurants. In the lobby where nightly activity is held, the sofa is ripped in certain areas and needs to be replaced. The grounds are gorgeous. The gardeners do a fantastic job with all the greenery. The pools are also beautiful but it would be nice if you could change the sheets when you get the bed by the pool. They are changed in the morning but not  [... read more]during the day when it becomes available to a another guest. The service at the Eggcellence restaurant was slow on several occasions as well. We loved the grill at lunchtime. Most of the staff are helpful and the butlers are definitely your go to people who make any problems disappear very quickly.We had Javier and Alexis both very helpful and professional. Overall , I would go back to the Royalton and recommend to friends.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Great Resort

I asked for a room with a balcony when we booked our trip. When we arrived they gave us the ground floor. The person at the front desk really didn't care and just said all the rooms were booked. The next day one of the butlers by the name of Diego came over and said he would change our room to a balcony room no problem. The service of the remainder of the staff was excellent and the hotel and grounds were exceptionally clean. Food was also good - so no complaints here!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Lovely Resort

I attended this resort for a destination wedding. The grounds were lovely and the resort was very clean. The service was very good for the most part. As the resort was so large, and there were so many people there, sometimes the service seemed a bit slow, but understandably so. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the beach, due to all of the seaweed that washed up onto the shore constantly, and felt that there could have been more resources dedicated to keeping it clean. Be prepared to be charged a sanitation fee of approximately $1.50 per day, something we were not aware of prior to our trip. Overall, a nice resort, if you like larger resorts.

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Amazing resort

We stayed in a junior suite at the Saint Lucia Royalton hideaway resort with an ocean view. The room was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The resort had numerous restaurants providing a good variety of well prepared delicious food. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable and the beach and pool areas were amazing. I would highly recommend this resort.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: The staff were amazing at this resort !!!!

Getting there from YYZ : We flew out on May 4,2019. The original flight was for 615am but we were pushed back to 9am due to the closure of the Santa Clara airport in Cuba. We were re directed to land in Cayo Coco, Cuba. The transport to and from YYZ, provided by Red Carpet Car service was excellent. The 3 hour flight was uneventful....Thank You Air Transat. Upon landing in Cayo Coco : The promised 3 .5 hour transport to Caya Santa Maria was in fact a 6 hour bus ride on a bus with a broken bath [... read more]room. We had to stop 3 x for bathroom breaks. On the bus we were offered overpriced warm beer for purchase....when in fact this should have been offered free of charge. Luckily I had some Cuban pesos from a previous trip.....I bought ice cold cans of beer from shops, for half of the price offered on the bus, that we stopped at for our bathroom breaks. I could tell that the transport team was NOT happy about this....but hey, this is Cuba !!! The Royalton,Cayo Santa Maria : 12 hours after we were ORIGINALLY supposed to arrive....we finally arrived! The check in was smooth and painless.We were given room 0504 which was awesome. The room was close to every amenity. We were in fact treated like royalty by the Royalton staff for our entire stay. The grounds were breathtakingly beautiful!!! The beach was fantastic !!! The downsides : There were food shortages. Some days no pizza....other days no quesadillas, beef, chicken , bread etc. The house wines were sub par and this was forwarded to management and discussed on my Tripadvisor review also. We ordered some wines from the a la carte menus for some meals. Also, although the Royalton is only 5 years old....rooms need refreshing. In summary : The biggest turn off to this vacation was the lost 12 hour on Saturday May 4, 2019 .We arrived at the resort just in time to go to bed. Not the vacation we planned at all. Many folks complained out this and informed me that they would be seeking compensation from their various tour suppliers. eg Sunwing. Would I go to the Royalton again? For sure. I feel like we were treated like family. However....on the next visit I want to be on the beach shortly after 12 noon.

Everything you could need or want at this resort. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. A really great week. Ramero, Salvador and Yvette awesome! Coffee Cafe and ice cream bar staff rock. Some seaweed on the beach but to be expected in May. Pools clean and entertainment great.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Good resort

It's really nice hotel, big room, good food, nice beach and pool. I love the buffet at the beach. They have grill seafood everyday. It's good resort for family. My daughter has so much fun. She can make friends and play with another kids at the poor and beach. The only concern, my husband try all kind of foods. Maybe he eat sushi or raw fish, he got sick one day, should make sure the burger cook well done too. Over all , it's really nice hotel. I can recommend to everyone if they have kids.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Great Vacation

Amazing views, very modern decor and excellent customer service. The employees were extremely attentive, made you feel like royalty. Great trip for relaxation. Amenities were very accessible and clean. Amazing time.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Not a 5 star resort

Amazing beach, beautiful grounds and good service. The food is absolutely terrible and yes I know it's Cuba! Limited drinks because of mix shortages. Expected better based on reading reviews prior to booking. No need to visit other properties that you have access to, very poor quality.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: This resort is NOT for people with mobility challenges

The Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa is a sprawling, multi-level complex that is difficult to find your way around in if you have mobility challenges. Our room was the furthest out from everything and was also mutli-leveled and dimly lit which, I feel, contributed to my mother falling down the two stairs going to the bathroom and breaking her hip on the first evening we were there. The Sunwing representatives appeared defensive and was minimally helpful. It seemed they were trying to shove the [... read more] issue under the rug. I only spoke to the representative by phone. He came to the hospital after 9pm on the second day just after I left to return to the resort. He seemed to want to avoid me and just kept saying to my Mother that she would be coming back. When assistance was requested we were told the resort didn't do that (e.g. transportation to/from the hospital). If it were not for the hospital, I would not have had anything to eat or drink all day as everything was closed down when I returned from the hospital. I felt extremely alone and without support while I walked 30 minutes to get back to my room, in the rain, because I didn't know how to get there and there was nobody around to ask for assistance. I was informed that the rest of the wedding party we went with enjoyed the resort and it's amenities. We also had positive interactions with the emergency response team and medical team at the hospital in Veradero who were kind, considerate and professional and did what they could to keep my Mother and I supported, safe and comfortable. The taxi drivers too were a big help and waited patiently when my sister and I traded off supporting my Mother at the hospital. I found it strange that accommodations were provided for my mother's mobility challenges at both the Toronto International Airport as well as the airport in Veradero, but no consideration was given to her or myself at the resort. There was an elevator to get up the 2 stories to the buffet but it was not very visible and we only discovered it after carrying the walker up and down the two flights of stairs so I could at least have breakfast before I left Cuba to accompany my mother back to Canada two days after we arrived.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Best Resort I've Ever Been To

As my title indicates, this is the best resort I've ever been to; everything was top notch. Cuba gets a bad rap from some for its food, but it was phenomenal here. Shout out to Pedro in the buffet for his unbelievable service and candour throughout my stay, though everyone's hospitality was excellent!

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing vacation!

This resort is the best I've ever been to in Cuba. The food is of course not fine dining but the good drinks and service make up for it. The beach has sand as soft as baby powder and they will bring your drink to your beach chair as well as beach snacks. You never have to get up. Butler service is very helpful and everyone was friendly.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great relaxing family vacation

I read a lot of bad reviews and was having second thoughts about the resort. Then I realized some people are stu#@d and are impossible to please. I was right. The hotel was great. We stayed in the newer part. Rooms were clean. Staff are amazing. Food excellent. Only complaint....not enough beef patties lol But honestly this place is really nice. Quiet and relaxing. Great place. Enjoyed it very much

Everything was very nice. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Thinking of returning again next year! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beach was magnificent! Swimming with the dolphins excursion was the high light of our trip. I can cross it off my bucket list now! The temperatures were in the 30s most days. The beds were super comfy, didn't wanna get up in the mornings. We were there with a group of 32 people for a family wedding. It was beautiful! Got tons of pics & videos.
