Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great new resort!

We went with a group of 8 people, everyone from our group loved the resort! The rooms were nice and clean with a nice comfy king size bed. The bathroom had 2 sinks (Great for 2 people to get ready) and a nice rain head in the shower! We were in the adult section by the adult pool and buffet - the building closest to the lobby. The buffet was be [... read more]autiful and had a great selection. we also ate at the beach buffet too, not as big but did the job! We enjoyed the Blue Moon restaurant for breakfast a few times too. Everyone enjoyed the a la carte restaurants! They are first come first serve - except the Japanese a la carte you need to make reservations for. There were lots of pools to choose from as well as the beach. The beach was rocky, but if you walked down a bit we found a sandy spot to go in. Everyone loved the coffee shop! it was big and had a great selection. We went everyday after dinner before the shows -all of which were great! We also went to the disco which was fun if you wanted to stay up past 11pm. Route 66 is the late night snack restaurant which we would go to after the disco. The lobby was beautiful and a nice place to sit for a drink after the shows. We also went to the bowling alley one afternoon, that was lots of fun! And the ice cream parlour was good:) All in all we had a fabulous time and would go back!!

Riu Emerald Bay: Amazing Resort

Riu Emerald Bay was beautiful. The food was great. Cleanliness was great. Lots of entertainment provided by the resort. Very helpful and friendly staff. Will differently stay again. And would recommend for any age group

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: No Hot water leaking ceiling and many more problems with this place

Paid extra for gold upgrade didn't get any of the benefits ie cooler was supposed to b stocked daily had call them most days it never got done , no hot water for days, leaking ceiling, bed was worn out barely had any sleep didn't get daily service to make the beds mgmt didn't care at all a horrible stay room was very stuffy no ventilation even in Cuba this would have been a 1 star

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Had a wonderful time, this resort can use a makeover

We had a wonderful time and fabulous weather! There were good and not so good things. As a result I would rate this hotel a 3 star. Staff here were all amazing, friendly and service oriented...boy they work hard in the heat! The big dissappointment was the noise. The hotel was overbooked during our stay as it was spring break. There was lots of noisy drunken students in our building, slamming doors, loud when they came in at 4/5am. The pool started to turn green, it was hot and cro [... read more]wded so it's understandable and the staff were attentive to getting it shocked back quickly. In general the pool area seemed understaffed or unable to upkeep the pool area, cleanup of glasses, etc. didn't get done. Seems to be lots of broken beach chairs and in general lack of chairs. There were workers trying to clean the pool by hand with a scrubby sponge, I wanted to go buy the poor guy a deck brush with a handle. It appeared people complained as some supervisors came to the pool and things were cleaned up and addressed. The food and drinks were ok but nothing like other resorts I have previously stayed at. There were good choices and it was easy to reserve the alacartes. Entertainment was ok, there is a band that played most nights in the black white bar. I would not return to this particular resort unless it had improvements.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Didn't get what expected

I’m very upset and disappointed with our stay in Mexico. We didn’t get the family suit in Coba resort that we paid for and were transferred to Tulum without any reasonable explanations or excuses. Check-in time took us three hours. We came from Calgary and were wearing our sweaters and boots, and nobody even offered a glass of water. Two rooms that we’ve got in Tulum were separated by the door, and we called numerous times to have it open. Conditioner in room #1703 was not working. They [... read more] left in the room two welcome gifts: 1 tshirt and 1 hat in each, so we got 2 tshirts and 2 hats but we have 3 kids. Why would you send two welcoming gifts to a family with three kids? The little one never got his, and was very upset. We asked for the third gift several times, but never received it. When I booked that trip I asked for a beach that suitable for children. However, we had to stay by the pool all the time, as ocean is full of rocks and a sea weed. And since we didn’t get our suit close to a water park, we had to get a transportation every time to get there. Additionally, room service was very poor (lack of toiletries, snack bar replacement, cleanless) I’ve tried to reach the agent a few times but never heard back. I feel that I was mislead and never got a service that I was promised and paid for. I’m seeking for some sort of compensation for lack of value and service.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: This resort is very nice.

Had a nice relaxing trip, did not start off well though, got there very late and we had upgraded our room months ago to the penthouse suite. When we went to check in they told us they had no more penthouse suites, we paid an extra $860.00 for this upgrade, they told us we have to stay in ground floor suite and they would give us $20.00 a day for down grading that you would have to spend at resort. Anyway we argued and the next day they moved us to our penthouse suite.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Unbelievable experience. Highly Recommend!

The resort is beautiful and exceptionally maintained. Food was incredible. Getting restaurant bookings was easy. Service was exceptional, warm and friendly. Great English speakers. Beautiful pools and a nice beach. The music was actually really nice as well. We stayed in a suite that walked out onto the pool and it was absolutely gorgeous. Mini bar stocked regularly with premium beers, pop and chips. A very classy place.

El Dorado Royale: Amazing Resort & People

I had an absolutely fabulous time. The staff was nice, the hotel was beautiful, the restaurants were great. I was able to obtain beds by the pool every morning (usually got there by 7 am to save our spot). My only complaint about the resort was the beach property really wasn't nice while we were there. There was algae everywhere, and so much we couldn't even enter the water. I was advised of this prior to going by Rebecca my travel agent. This resort has so many restaurants, I believe 10 or 11 in total and only 2 of those require reservations which was amazing. I would definitely go back to this resort and highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation.

Barcelo Huatulco: Nice Resort

The resort is a small resort which was fine for us but if you want a large resort with lots of activities this is not the resort for you. The location is amazing and the weather was unbelievable with no rain for the whole vacation but very hot. The resort was super clean with the staff always cleaning or fixing something to maintain the surroundings. The food was ok but nothing spectacular. Buffets were basically the same thing every day and the a la cart restaurants were good if you could get i [... read more]n. One HUGE CON is you have to line up every morning for 9am to reserve an a la cart restaurant for that day only and if you are not at the front of the line you probably won't get one. There are 4 restaurants and they would rotate to only have 2-3 open each night. If you signed up for premium you could book your week all at once. Which we did try to do but when we arrived they wanted $290 US extra for premium. The person beside me was offered $245 which I said we wanted too. He went for approval and came back saying the manager said its now $300. We told them forget it and then the next day which is one day less when reserving a restaurant she tried to up grade us and wanted $310. For such a large chain I was disgusted how this was handled. I work in the sales industry and if I did this to my customers I wouldn't have any. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Went to town one afternoon which is very safe. The beach is nice but is not flat and has a huge incline which makes very hard to walk. The ocean was usually rough so if you are a ocean person which we weren't, it would not the best for swimming.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Grand Bahia Principe Aazin Resort

I do give this resort a full 5 star. As the food is just amazing. The rooms were great and the maids and mini bar person took care of us everyday, but please remember tips and small gifts make a difference. They treat you like Royalty. The grounds of this place is immaculate well taken care of. Golf trolleys take you everywhere, to rooms or shopping-free of course. I recommend this resort and the other three sister resorts, Akumal, Coba and Sian Ka'an

Riu Flamingos: Amazing

We have visited Riu Jalilsco. We had a great time. There was no complaints , Hotels went out of their way to help you and always smiling. It was nice to coffee on the table in the morning . We will be returning to this resort very soon .

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: This Resort is truly "The Finest"

The Finest is an ideal resort for both Adults and Children. We had three generations here, and all enjoyed it. The 'kids club' section had supervised play that the grandchildren enjoyed, and at dinner, there was a games/video/TV room for children available during dinner when adults would extend dinner and children needed their own place. The Buffet provided a broad range of choices, and was superb, featuring the freshest fruit possible. At the Lobster restaurant, when finished one lobster, everyone was invited to have a second! Our room was a walk-out to a pool, with a massage shower. The walk-out pool had two hot-tub areas attached. All pools and the beach had an unlimited supply of towels and sufficient lounges. The beach was ideal, with water being a beautiful teal colour near shore, and waves muted due to Mujeres island a few miles away. Every where the service was perfect. At night, the music and theatre entertainment was very enjoyable. And the coffee shop, which serviced specialty coffees (with or without alcohol) and assorted treats was a highlight not only for the adults, but also for the grandchildren who (with parental permission) were able to safely go alone and order for themselves This was our second visit, and will not be our last!

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Was disappointed

The resort is small.. Had only one elevator working for four days.. Food was not good.. Buffet service was terrible kept forgetting to bring drink orders.. Couldn't wear a tank top to the Buffett for dinner there reason was because men are un-hygienic. Went to seaside restaurant they forgot our meals, sat for hour and 45 min finally just got up and left. Tried tiki taco resturant had large chicken bones in my burrito. The Entertainment staff, bar staff and cleaners were all the best and make th [... read more]e resort. Sunclub was good too. Wifi not so good, rooms were great. After staying at other resorts close by I won't save a few dollar to stay at this resort again there are better places

Riu Dunamar: Fabulous Resort

Enjoyed our vacation at Riu Dunamar. Staff were very helpful when needed. Staff were always cleaning bathrooms, walkways, pools and the beach. There was quite high winds the week we were there. The beach was fairly rough with an strong undertow.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Could have been better

If your looking to party or hang out with 20+ year olds this resort is great. The food was mid grade. Our room was cleaned twice in a week... that I was not happy with. I was not happy with the minimum bar options and that there are some bars you can’t get into at all without paying 25$/person per night you stay. The views were nice from the rooms, but the top floors balcony’s are much smaller then the other floors. It was nice to get away but for the extra money I would go somewhere else.

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Second time still a charm !

This was our second time at this resort . And no disappointments at all . Staff bend backwards to make your stay a happy one . Serving staff exceptional, maid service was good and always had a clean room and Fridge re stocked daily . Food was great . Could change up the menu a bit in the other restaurants like Blue water etc but still awesome . Over all a relaxing enjoyable vacation and yes I would go Back a third time .

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great resort!

Hotel was very well kept and recently renovated. Food wasn’t bad. We had excellent customer service and staff were all very welcoming and friendly! Location was amazing - on a cliff right by the beach made for great views from our ocean view room. Hotel excursions such as catamaran rides and surf lessons were all included in “all-inclusive prices.” A wonderful family result overall!

Grand Oasis Cancun: Nice resort but too big

The hotel is very clean and beautiful but for my taste its too big you need to walk a lot for everything. The pools are very nice and clean. The buffet you wait in line for all meals for at least 20 mins. The a la carte are not as long to wait and are good. The rooms are clean but the last day we were there we found 3 cockroaches. The service in the room for great. The shows as night are beautiful. The wifi was not free and some other stuff that was told we were getting we couldn't get we had to [... read more] pay.

Crown Paradise Golden: Great Holiday

We had a very nice vacation at the Crown Paradise Golden resort in Puerto Vallarta from April 5-12, 2018. The resort is a nice size and you do not have to take a shuttle to get anywhere in the resort. We were on the adults only side of the resort but ventured over to the family side for the breakfast buffet and some ala carte dinners. The food was great and they had Bloody Caesars which was a nice surprise as I have never found them in Mexico or at any of the Caribbean islands we have [... read more] visited in the past. The hotel was fairly clean and the only issue we had was a small but persistent water leak in our closet which took the maintenance people three visits to resolve. The staff were great and most were very friendly including our maid, Noelia. Some of the other staff that left favourable impressions on us were Kimberly in the buffet restaurant and Fernanda in the French restaurant.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort

The staff, food, grounds and drinks were great.. We will be returning next year.met great people from all over the world. Bartenders Ivan and Alejandro at the club golden deserve a round of drinks on us. Thanks Coba staff see ya next year.
