Park Royal Ixtapa: Loved it

The hotel is small but offers great ammenities. There are two buffet restaurants and one a la carte. The food is similar to any other resort- ask for bacon during breakfast. The ocean is unsafe for swimming; however, beautiful swimming spots near by. The swim up pool bar and staff are amazing. The rooms are decent, make sure to get an ocean view room. Loved our stay and will be back

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY

Good value for the money. An older hotel. Rooms clean. Food decent. Get your reservations in early for any of the restaurants because they fill up fast. The pillows on the bed are terrible and way too small. The elevator service is very bad and cannot accommodate the amount of people that use them. But they were working on them while we were there. Thank God for the adult swimming pool. It was a god send. Overall a very good vacation.

Grand Sunset Princess: Grand sunset princess

This resort was good value for the money but the beach was very bad they wouldn't remove all the weeds, just machine them back into the beach. They also need to build new bar and restaurant and washroom at the beach. Very bad and smelly place, needs to changed ASAP.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Hola from Canada

This was our 13th stay at the Royal Decameron Complex. Our home away from home. Rooms, although dated, are clean and comfortable. Staff are so accommodating, friendly and humble. Will be returning.😎

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort

The resort was always clean and well maintained, the staff was always pleasant. Our room was musty, when we reported it they took care of it immediately. The food was wonderful, especially the Al la carts. Some of the pools need handrails for the elderly to get in and out.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Wonderful Vacation!

We had a fabulous stay at the costa cancun. It is a small resort, so all the staff gets to know you well. The staff is amazing, especially the recreation staff and the restaurant servers! The food was very good, and a great variety. The resort is kept very clean and well maintained. This is the only resort we have ever been to where we could find lounge chairs available any time of day at the pool or beach, they are very plentiful! Also excellent if you are going on excursions, because right around the corner from the buffet restaurant is the port of take off for all sorts of fun things, like the ferry to Isla Mujeres, Pirate ships, dance and party boats, jet ski. The beach is a bit small but other than that this was a great resort and we enjoyed our week very much!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Lovely resort

Loved our room and how well it was kept during our stay. Food in all restaurants and buffets was excellent as was the service in all. Very high quality. This is the best resort we have stayed at. I would highly recommend it

Grand Riviera Princess: Would definitely return. Loved every minute of it

We stayed at the Riviera Princess All Suites from Apr 1-8, 2018. The grounds are spectacular, the staff in the buffets and restaurants were very friendly. The food was extremely well received by us. We had a swim up room and we basically spent all our pool time here. The resort held many pool events as well as bingo during the day. Musical entertainment in the evenings was very good. Loved the Jamaican band with Reggae music. The rooms are all suites. Very spacious and clean. There is a [... read more]n ice-cream parlour upstairs where the main lobby is. There is lots of activities for children to do if you have children. The beach area did have a lot of seaweed, but this would be caused from previous storms. We would definitely return to this resort. Next time we will try the Yucatan Princess which is an all adult area of this tremendous resort. We give the resort a 5 star.

Breathless Riviera Cancun: Perfect Vacation

We arrived at the hotel Mid afternoon and were promptly greeted with champagne and cool towels. We stayed on the xhale club which was perfect for those wanting a quiet area. Loved every minute and would definitely return .

Barcelo Maya Grand Resort: Excellent resort!

This was our second trip to an all inclusive in the Riveria Maya and although we really enjoyed the first resort, we liked the Barcelo Maya Grand resort even better. The resort is really 5 hotels in one with multiple pools, 3 buffets, 3 theatres, about 5 ala carte restaurants, a mall area with bowling alley, shopping and miniature golf. Everything is connected by pathways and easily accessible on foot. Very long, beautiful beach area!

Hotel Irma Zihuatanejo: lovely hotel

Rooms were good. Food was OK. Overall hotel was everything as advertised. Consideration should be given to providing a coffee maker and an ice cooler in rooms These were the only complaints we heard from other guests.

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Fun family vacation with small kids

Thursday we returned from a week stay at Azul Ixtapa. This was our second trip which now included two children under 4. The king room with a balcony on the 14th floor was excellent and close to all the action. Everything is exceptionally clean including all the washrooms on the grounds. The pools are fun, there was always a place to sit and enjoy the activities. All of the restaurants were delicious and clean. We found there were almost no mosquitos at dusk which at other resorts we've be [... read more]en attacked. Make sure to say hi to Miguel at Costa Azul a la carte, he is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet as well as Rudy at the open air buffet or Yolanda and Angela at Colores. The staff are so accommodating and will go above and beyond to ensure you have all you need.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Really great place!

Was here for 7 days with a group of 8. Overall we had a great time. Couple downfalls were even with the seaweed issues the beach is rocky and service in the buffet is slow in terms of drinks and coffee. Best bet is to get someone's attention before you sit down. The food was delicious everywere we ate. Coffee at Mike's is awesome. The ice cream shop was a nice add. We watched most shows and again they were quite good! Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: THIRD TRIP TO RESORT

This resort is outstanding! our third year in a row to visit. The place is spotless inside and out. It has four fantastic pools, from ultra quiet to party pool. the shuttle service to the beach and other resorts is spot on little to no wait at all. The food at the buffett is second to none, and we have been to many resorts. The 24 Hr. snack bar is more of a full service Buffett then any snack bar we have ever been to. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Total disapointment!

Very disappointed! We never got the room we paid for and were transferred to a different resort. Check-in time took three hours. When we finally got to our room, it was not ready. With three kids we had only two welcoming gifts. Room service is awful, and you don't get anything unless you pay a tip. Personnel barely speak or understand English. You can't swim in ocean as it has rocks and full of a sea weed. Free Wi-Fi only in lobby, if you want it in your room you have to pay extra. But food [... read more] is great and lots of booze. So, if you're looking to get drunk and stay by the pool all day this is the right place.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Terrible vacation!

Out of a group of eleven (11), eight (8) of us got food poisoning! This spread out over a vacation package of 7 days. Needles to say that 3 days out each meant we didn't get to enjoy ourselves and our company the way we had intended to. Staff was very good in dealing with us and bringing meals and extra water to rooms, however, it doesn't excuse the fact we all got violently ill over the food. First time I've had to write such a review. Very unfortunate!

Grand Oasis Palm: Not suitable for everyone

It was a very busy resort where there were two hotels using one number of services/beach space. Very long line ups for the restaurants and buffets had limited options as well as trays would at times be empty. It seemed that in certain areas, they were understaffed for the very high number of guests. Limited space both by the beach and pool. Lounge chairs need to updated and not enough for all the guests. Some people were sitting in the sand or sharing chairs. More suitable for families with chi [... read more]ldren as well. Kids apparently stay there free. Hence, there were a lot of children at this resort.

Grand Oasis Palm: Great family resort.

Great pool and beachfront on the family side. Restaurants aren’t too bad...very relaxed atmosphere. Lots of excursions available, but the resort offers quite a lot of things for kids/families to do also.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Average Resort

This is the second time we have been to this resort. We found our first time to have been better due to it have been only open for 6mths This time , The food was good, you could always find something at the buffets, a la cartes were not bad we have had better. I would have to say the biggest thing ,this hotel needs to do is fix the main pool it lose tiles off the bottom every day. Grand Oasis Sens: Amazing Adults Only Vacay!!!

This hotel was very good at maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, rooms and overall area. There was always someone cleaning up dishes, washing floors, giving out towels and sheets for the outdoor beds, making sure you had what you needed etc. Everyone for the most part was friendly but the only thing I would suggest is they need more than one bartender per bar. They looked a bit overwhelmed but always were polite and served everyone as best they could. The buffet was open at breakfast and had your typical items and was good. It was closed at lunch but there was always other options to choose from. The Italian place was really good...who doesn't want steak and shrimp for lunch? The buffet was a bit disappointing for dinner but overall it was acceptable. It was just a bit small with little selection but since there were so many al a carte's, there was no need to visit the buffet. All you have to do is visit the al a carte you want to go for dinner about an hour before and make a reservation. Be there early because everyone lines up. They don't do the "make all your reservations" on one day or even on the morning of. If your bar fridge doesn't get any bottled water just visit the lobby bar as they give some out there as well. The night club is basically on level 2, which is the main pool level at the back. If you don't mind thumpety thump from 10pm until 2am each night.....I suggest getting the rooms we did on the main walk out level 2. It is a bit of a weird set up since its a pyramid style hotel....lots of stairs and its great for exercise but not wheelchair/disability friendly though. As an example if you want to be able to walk out of the sliding doors right to the pool, bar and sushi bar....get an EVEN number room. Either 218,220,222,224,228,230. there were a couple around the corner next to those but they didn't have sliding door access as you would have to walk around. Its great at that spot as you can sit outside your door they have two loungers for you to use. Plus there are 3 oversized beds which are basically oversized loungers for groups to hang out or couples. I suggest you get up early and put a couple towels and maybe a shirt or two on it to save it. By around 8am all of the spots get taken.....just don't got it for the day if you only plan on using it for an hour :) The entertainment was really good and I suggest reserving a spot for the Cabaret show at the Oasis Pyramid - they provide transportation and its free! The night club has a show each night and do NOT miss the burlesque show its hot!! One last thing....don't miss the foam party in the topless/hidden pool.....that was fun :)
