Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Gem of a resort

The Decameron is a deliteful ,colorful entertaining resort. The grounds are well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are 5 pools, a kids pool an adult only quiet pool, one with entertainment. Lots of dinning options, 2 smorgs and 5 alacart restaurants. NIghtly theater shows that are very good. It is a short walk into the Mexican town of Bucerias which has a market full of all your Mexican souvenirs. This is great Mexican holiday experience.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: 5 star all the way

This resort is a big resort that has got it down perfect ,you wait mFor nothing,food was great, the staff were fanatic, don Paulo section buffet, Roberto and his crew amazing service,smiles,and self satisfaction,just serving you,2nd time for us and already planning next with the kids and spouses.

The Pyramid Cancun: Wonderful family trip!

The resort was very clean and well maintained. The gardens were immaculate and beautiful and everything we wanted in a resort. I loved the peacocks roaming the property. The beach was stunning just like out of a magazine. Our favorite restaurants were Le Buffet and Maki Taco where the service was top notch. I wanted to thank one special staff at Maki Taco restaurant. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Good resort, great beach

Beach is located right next to the resort which is awesome. Restaurants are good, but unfortunately you are forced to wake up at 8am to book your dinner reservations each day (or up to 1 day in advance). I wish they had something else in place so the people leaving at 7:30 for excursions can still book dinners. Bars were ok, but their selection wasn't as good as some other resorts I have been to (could not get a mojito). They should have wifi in all the rooms, not just certain common areas.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Perfect for families

This resort is amazing for families! Food was good, we enjoyed it all, and so did my 2 small kids. Lots of shows and entertainment for the whole family. We enjoyed our stay! Every day there is always something going on to keep everyone busy and having fun.

Barcelo Huatulco: Great resort and affordable.

The hotel itself is well maintained and well equipped, very clean. The maids, wait staff, front desk, bartenders, everyone, were very pleasant and professional. On the down side, the Adults Only Pool ( teenagers to adults ), seemed to be a handful for Lifeguards and Security to enforce these Rules. Seemed to be less A la' Carte this year, if you wanted it one must get up early to get a reservation, even then if you could get one was questionable, otherwise it was all buffet. Riu Emerald Bay: great resort

a few prblems but nothing serious this is the cleanest resort we have ever stayed at from check in to checkkout ran like a clock the drinks are not up to par the bar tenders says a lot of people note on that they are sure not 5 star class may be 3 in that catagory everthing else is great.

Secrets Vallarta Bay: Complejo Fabuloso

First time to Mexico and an all-inclusive resort - more than anticipated. Service, Security - very well monitored operation. Accommodations-spacious with fantastic views. Daily programs and Entertainment - many options. Staff - well informed and friendly. Dining choices - many, tried several - very pleased. Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beautiful beach, pools, and great food!

The easy access to the beach was great, and it was nice to have opportunities to visit other areas of the Bahia Principe resort. Food was excellent and staff was always friendly. We would definitely return for another relaxing trip!

Dreams Huatulco: Great resort

This is my 3rd time to Huatulco. This is the first time I travelled without my spouse. This is an extremely safe area of Mexico. The people are genuinely friendly and kind. We had a wonderful time even taking a taxi into town and wandering on our own. The dreams resort is well layer out with 2 adult only pools.

Barcelo Huatulco: Did Not Disappoint

Second time to this resort. Had a great Time. Staff excellent. Rooms very nice and very comfy beds. Grounds and buildings well maintained and clean. Restaurants could be a little better - very slow service. Spanish and Italian excellent. Everyone advised against the Japanese, so didn't try it but overall experience was good - will definitely be back!

Secrets Huatulco: Paradise!

having travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels and resorts I truly feel that secrets huatulco was great. Spectacular dining, great staff, clean, no line no waiting. This was with out a doubt the best resort experience we have ever had.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Second Time as Good as the First!

We stayed at the Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness Resort from March 14-21, 2018. This was our seventh visit to the Riviera Maya area and second to this resort. We stayed here in 2017 and fell in love with it. It is the only resort we have ever stayed at twice. We recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and wanted some place special to celebrate. We looked and looked and just kept coming back to this place so we decided to book it. One quick call to Tanya and TripCentral and we were all [... read more] set up. We were definitely a little nervous about repeating a resort, scared that we might lose some of the ‘magic’. We shouldn’t have been, it was just as special as the first time. We arrived at around 3:00pm and were assigned room 4214. Great view, clean and well stocked. We moved to room 4307 (penthouse) on Friday. I had emailed in advance requesting building 2 or 3 and a corner room, knowing full well that not all requests can be granted. We were happy with building 4. It was quiet. No matter where you are nothing is that far away so building assignment is not that big of a deal. Families or mobility challenged folks may prefer building 1 or 2 for the location, but be mindful they are also where most of the activity and people traffic is. Ground floor rooms are true walkout, with a patio deck that extends out beyond the balcony area. Most first and second floor rooms have a great view. All rooms have an outdoor hot tub. The penthouse room has a fantastic view from the roof top and a balcony with 2 chairs and a table off the main floor as well. The hot tub is on the rooftop patio, placed perfectly for soaking and looking at the stars. There are two loungers and an umbrella as well. It would have been nice to have a little bistro set or something like that to have morning coffee at while watching the sunrise. All rooms have slippers, robes, lotion, shampoo, body wash, and a coffee maker (with supplies). The is also a bar fridge with four cans of pop, a few beer, water and snacks. If you want something specific restocked just leave a note inside the fridge and they will look after you. We also had lovely towel art every day this year. People always say ‘you don’t spend much time in the room’. I tend to disagree and believe having a room that is clean, well stocked and comfortable is very important. I injured my back two days before we left on our trip. One morning I just couldn’t move without pain so we filled the hot tub, ordered breakfast through room service (which was fantastic) and just chilled until the spasm relaxed. I was so thankful that we could do that. Another night, after a long day at Chichen Itza, I purchased a bottle of wine through the front desk, we retired to the room, ordered room service (again, excellent) and just enjoyed staring at the stars. Purchasing wine was very easy. Go to the front desk, look at the menu, order what you want and it is delivered to your room in an ice bucket. You pay for it at checkout. The buffet restaurant here is probably the best we have been to. Food was always hot, fresh and there was a wide variety of selections no matter what the meal. Never an empty pan or tray. They keep an eye on everything. The bacon here was cooked so perfectly, we commented on it many days. Service was great, never a wait for anything and when tables were scarce (busy times) someone was there to help you in a flash. Snack bar staff is so great. I missed his name but the older fellow there is amazing, just couldn’t do enough for everyone there. We only made it to twp of the a la cartes this year, the Gourmet and Mexican. We avoided both last year, because I am such a fussy eater, but I was able to view the menus before we arrived this year and figured we’d try the. Both were delicious. The gourmet served one of the best beef tenderloins I have ever had. The grounds are immaculate. Of course most people have probably heard that there is sargassum coming ashore right now. I can’t express enough how great a job the workers do at keeping the beach clean. Those workers, each and every one, deserves our thanks for doing such an exceptional job. There is another resort next door, and comparing the two was remarkable. That resort could learn something from the Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness Resort. The beach is amazing, great for walking and exploring as well as snorkeling. There is no where you will walk where staff doesn’t have a friendly greeting or smile for you. Raul and all the rest of the front desk staff were so helpful. We sat down near the pop up beach bar when at the beach this year. Big thank you to Patricia, Clemente and Felipe for looking after us! That’s hard hot work and you guys make it look easy! Never had any issues finding a hut with chairs regardless of when we went. No, we never saved a chair all week. We did see a few saved, but unless you want a specific spot there is no reason to here. They do watch to make sure the chairs are being used, which I think is fantastic. Also, we saw no mosquito’s. I am allergic so I had everything packed and was pro-actively taking my meds. Never used my repellent lotions or anti inch once. What can I say about Oscar/Marvin/Yael, lol! He knows how to engage and look after guests. Thank you so much! And Luis, what can I say. The warmest welcome when you arrive and the biggest hug when you leave. The first and last face I saw, the same as last year. I smiled all the way to the airport because of both Luis and Oscar. There are just too many staff who make this experience special to mention them all. And this is an experience not just a holiday. I was so sad to leave, I wish we had booked 10 days. 7 was not enough. We booked two tours the Tim and Juan at the Tours and Excursion desk. We did Catamaya and the VIP Chichen Itza. Both excursions were great. Tim and Juan were so easy to deal with! Last but not least it was our great pleasure to have the opportunity to talk with Emanuele and Corinna. You should both be very proud of ABBWR and it’s staff. Looking very forward to a return trip!

Been to this hotel 3 times over the past 15 years and never disappoints. Still great value for the money. Nothing ever feels crowded, staff are wonderful grounds are beautiful. Authentic Mexican feel. Wonderful location

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Valentin Imperial Maya Apr.1-8 2018

Just returned from 7 days at Valentin. This was our 2nd time – last time was 4 years ago. Good news is that things have not changed much – they have done an excellent job keeping up with maintenance on rooms and grounds keeping is immaculate. As before, service is top shelf and food is good. Still wish there was a supper buffet option for those nights you don’t feel like dressing up for the a la cartes, but you know that going in. We again had a golden swimup room, and I would highly recom [... read more]mend this option as well worth the price – it guarantees you 2 dedicated chaises next to lazy river, which means you don’t need to play the game of getting up early to “reserve” a chaise with shade by putting your towel on one – we witnessed people putting their towels on chaises at 6:30 am, then not showing up to actually use the chaises till noon! In my opinion, the only thing missing is a dedicated coffee bar to allow you to easily get a cup of coffee any time. Would definitely return.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Loved it!!!

We really enjoyed this hotel. We got such a great price on it that expectations weren’t high so we were so happy when it was such a great resort! Food was excellent, drinks were excellent, the pool is nice and big, sun all day every day! All around had an awesome week, would definitely return!!

Catalonia Yucatan: Not a four star experience!!

Start from the beginning.. check in was horrendous the staff was rude and they don’t give a care about customer service! This level of service would never be acceptable anywhere! They are so used to the complaints they don’t care! The first room had cracked tiles throughout , brown bath tub from wear, peeling paint and rock hard beds! Three star at best and that is being generous. We were told on three separate occasions to come back to the front desk we will have a better room for you. We w [... read more]aited and went back to the desk and first it wasn’t ready so we waited went back the next morning told to come back at noon we waited and went back and then we were told it was sold. We asked to speak with a manager about this horrible service and he wouldn’t come talk to us in person. We waited a day and a half, lots of lying and delays to get a half decent room. Positives: The service in the restaurants and bars were great, the room was clean, the food was good. The grounds are beautiful. Ideal location Cons: beach is very small, front desk horrible, pools small and cramped, not enough loungers, the rooms are very run down, segregated areas for privileged. Bad Management!! I wouldn’t return, three star room, four star resort prices! Too bad though it had potential and most of the staff was great!

Allegro Playacar: Absolutely incredible vacation

I cannot say enough about this resort!! The rooms were all kept the staff was fantastic! The resort was fulnyet still never Waite din line. The staff knew our names without having to tip excessively even though they deserved it. The beach is absolutely top notch. Who cares if there is not a dozen al la cate restaurants. The buffet has tonnes of variety throughout the week and was very tasty. If you are hesitating on this resort...DON’T Bike it. You won’t be disappointed. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Riu Palace Cabos Son Lucas, Mexico

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The rooms very generous and clean. The service in restaurants, rooms and the grounds was stellar. We had a fantastic time. Check in and check out was very friendly. When we needed something brought to our room, the reception desk was very helpful and service was quick.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: beautiful and amazing resort

everything is very well kept,staff always there to help.restaurant near the actopus pool,saoul was the man.main pool, bartender luis and Rolando the best.the ocean beach was not long but water was very beautiful,clear.for snorqueling,reefs are just in front.you cannot imagine the time and work they must of put in this resort.nicely done hotel xcaret.i would go back in a heartbeat
