Grand Oasis Cancun: Stay away
Not a place for an enjoyable vacation. Old and dated hotel, terrible service all around, definitely not family friendly. Go somewhere else!!! Emporium hotel a few doors down is superb for families with children. Clean and quite.
Grand Oasis Riviera: Great Grand Oasis Tulum
I chose this place for relaxation base on the recommendation from a colleague of mine and today back to work I much appreciated her. I really could not see any point that I was not delighted or happy about. Above all the staff are great there; so friendly, tidy, sincere, caring and genuine. The room was classy, with the best view toward the sea. And every every thing there. Big congratulations to the management of Grand Oasis Tulum/ Sian Ka'an resort. Job done professionally. Grand Oasis Palm: Good resort
Beach and scenery was beautiful Very livelyperfect for families with kids Food variety was limited but delicious Two of the restaurants "white box and Creyers" were the only good ones Our bed was very soft and uncomfortable told front desk 3 times to do something about it but no result Clean and organized resort Check in and check out was very smooth Overall 4 star
El Dorado Seaside Suites: El Dorado Seaside Suites
Resort overall was great. Excellent food and drinks as well as service but, will not return due to tablet being stolen from room. We had only been out of our room for about an hour and security said I would not get it back. Too bad because it was stolen day two of our trip.
Riu Vallarta: Great vacation
Very clean well kept resort, beautiful grounds, pools and beach. Never overcrowded, no line ups in buffet. However downside was no reservations for alacarte restaurants, first come first serve therefore over an hour line up to get in. Lots of variety of food choices..good mixed drinks. Helpful and pleasant staff, always good supply of towels in room, good water pressure and always hot. All around probably best resort we have been to!
The Pyramid Cancun: Great Party Resort but wouldn’t bring kids
A group of 4 early 30s guys travelled here for 4 days and had a blast. We were in a pair of ocean front rooms and we don’t really have any complaints about anything. The food was excellent the rooms were clean and in good condition. My only suggestion is that you get the black bands which we had because apparently the lesser packages had a lot of things they couldn’t do. But black bands could do whatever we wanted. Didn’t have to wait long for anything. A lot of drug pedlars on the beech [... read more]
Riu Caribe Cancun: Was a nice resort..
Took our first trip to a RIU resort last week- April 2018- Previous posted reviews are accurate the resort is quite nice, clean and centrally located in Cancun- The food was awful over salted etc. little day to day variety. The staff were the very friendly, helpful and engaging.. Rated as a 4 star likely more of high 3. All problems that did exist were easily overlooked. Improvements to the food would benefit the resort..
The Pyramid Cancun: Excellent
Despite other reviews we decided to give this resort a chance. So glad that we did! The pyramid had So many food and drink options, great service and amazing staff. Room was nice and clean, beautifully decorated. We traveled as a couple, 26 and 29 years old and must say there was something here for everyone. The pool area seemed to section off into family side and party side, while the entire beach was open with a convenient bar closely located for black and gold bracelet guests. Entertainment w [... read more]
Occidental Tucancun: Awesome Resort
We really liked out stay at Occidental Tucancun. The staff was amazing and helpful. All three pools were great, and so close to the beach! The vegetarian options at resort could be improved, but the drinks were awesome. THe 24 hour snack bar needs better options, especially for vegetarians.
Crown Paradise Golden: average resort
beautiful area nice location with a great view and great beach front. Hotel is dated and in need of an upgrade. Rooms were good with comfortable bed and good pillows. Entertainment staff did a great job with limited resources available. no swim up bar just a bar side hot tub that was always too crowed.
Secrets Huatulco: Super Resort, Awesome Weather, Great Town
Staff are super friendly, always having a smile for you. Restaurant food was good and room service as well. A few days it was too rough to swim but beach is great. We went into the town it was safe! I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great vacation!
Grand Oasis Sens: Don’t stay at Grand Oasis Sens
Worst all-inclusive experience ever. Staff was rude (except reception & bell boys). Rooms weren’t stocked, no alcohol in rooms except beer, supposed to be all inclusive? Bartenders would roll their eyes at me every time I asked for a drink, lights were out by midnight, food was mediocre, pool towels are rough, wifi connection shitty, just a brutal experience. I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody.
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Awesome Resort
We were in the Imperial Junior Suites Ocean Front (bldg 13). The room was always clean. The concierge Mauricio was always courteous & ensured our dinner reservations were made. Food was excellent & as privileged members we were entitled to have lobster every day. The staff was pleasant & the mini bar was always replenished with our favourite drinks.
Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Great experience
Food was great, especially the buffet. While it was hard to get a lounge chair, the pools were large enough that there was lots of room. Kids enjoyed beach volleyball and sailing. Rooms were clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. Beach wasn’t great for swimming.
Breathless Riviera Cancun: Great resort
This resort has everything you want good food and entertainment three pools to match your mood ...the party pool was mostly self absorbed selfie takers but the other pools were very good atmosphere Food was good and the restaurants being open till 11 have a decent chance to go to dinner after a hard day of relaxing
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Fantastic Resort
Beautiful grounds it is big but easy to get around. We couldn’t do any a la cartes because they were all booked up so that was disappointing. I think if it’s that busy maybe people should be limited? Only other recommendations would be more shelter at the pool. You must be up by 545 am to get shelter at the pool and that’s a bit early when you’re on holidays... The best waiter ever was Jose at the buffet. Food and drink was amazing! I would recommend this resort. Akumal was the best of t [... read more]
Riu Santa Fe: Great resort!
Nice hotel, grounds are clean, pools are awesome, food was good and staff was helpful. Only complaint is that it's really load late at night because of drunks coming back from partying in town. Other than that it was a great week with amazing weather.
Selection Riviera Cancun: Great for kids... terrible for beach lovers
Very poor beach... they have people working around the clock but it is useless and very inefficient (creating illusion they are doing something) Water is full of rocks... ocean lovers, stay away!!!!! Great for kids, our 2 yr old had a blast.
Ocean Maya Royale: Really enjoyed this resort
Resort is well maintained. Rooms always cleaned and bed very comfortable. Had a few issues with Japanese restaurant that Rodrigo at the front desk fixed quickly. Also had issues with the benefits we were to get having booked through WestJet. Once they figured that out, they fixed quickly. Nightly entertainment was good. Just a couple of acts they shouldn't ever have again but the rest were good. Food was really good at all restaurants. Breakfast a little monotonous but was really only th [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Nice resort but needs some upkeep.
First off I would like to say we had a great time at the Gran Sirenis Maya Beach, the staff was excellent. Very friendly and prompt, the food was good, there was lots of options at the buffet, the Japanese alacarte was our favorite, the ranchero steak house was very good as well. There was very little premium booze, so if that's what your looking for maybe choose another resort or get the members club upgrade. Not a big deal for us, but maybe for some. My daughter loved the lazy river! [... read more]
