Grand Riviera Princess: Great Family Vacation

The Family Club Section of the resort is excellent if you have young children . The service was good the resort very large. The resteraunts were ok . Not the best food compared to other resorts I have visited . And the service in the ala carte resteraunts was pretty slow . Tons of seaweed on the beaches . All in all a really nice vacation .

Vamar Vallarta: Excellent

We stayed at the vamar for 7 days and had a fantastic time. The resort staff was amazing and extremely hospitable. Ramon and nacho at the front were incredible to us and so accommodating to us. The rooms were very big with beautiful views of the marina and swim up bars. The noise from the construction next door was my one and only complaint. Any issues or needs we had were dealt with in a timely and professional manner. The food was outstanding. Would definitely visit this resort ahain.

Temptation Resort & Spa: fun

this was an amazing resort. one complaint we were charged $70.00 for a stain on the duvet and sheet the first night we never changed our bedding for the duration.the rest of the stay was very enjoyable

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful resort

The grounds were well taken care of and very clean. The staff were very polite and welcoming . It was easy to have a good time . The only downfall was it wasn't walking distance to the beach. We had a great time

Enjoyed the atmosphere very nice room and resort food was great alcohol was great Beach was ok Employees were great Pools were Nice Overall a very wonderful vacation will definitely be back in the future

Just got back on saturday from a family vacation . We really enjoyed ourselves had a lots of fun My only disappointing was the booking of the à la carte ,we got to the resort around 12 noon and almost all of them were full, or really late

El Dorado Seaside Suites: A great resort

The rooms are amazing. I absolutely loved the shower and bed. The resort could add some more Bali beds as there is not to many. I would also suggest adding some sort of foam to the sun loungers because it was uncomfortable to lay on them. The beach was not to great it had a lot of rocks.

Riu Flamingos: Beautiful Resort

Very well run resort. Clean, phenomenal food & service! Could use a pool for adults that are not interested in partying! Disappointed in the amount of food wasted by some vacationers, nothing to do with the resort, but maybe people should be charged for what they leave on their plates.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: LBP Sian Ka'an was GREAT.

Many thanks to TripCentral agent Melissa Alexander for her assistance. Our room was located EXACTLY where I requested. We were in suite 41924 which offered as much privacy as is available at this resort when in the rooftop jacuzzi.. Bahia Principe has 4 resorts at this location (Acumal, Tulum, Coba, and Sian Ka'an) The first 4 in 41924 indicates Sian Ka'an The 19 in 41924 indicates building 19 The 2 in 41924 indicates suite 2 on a particular level - 41914, 41924, 41934 and 419 [... read more]44 are on the same level Two suites on each level have a view facing away from the resort (towards the golf course) and these are the most private The last 4 in 41924 indicates the third level (for some reason the ground level is indicated by a 2 (41912, 41922, 41932 and 41942) The shuttle service connecting Acumal, Tulum, Coba, and Sian Ka'an is EXCELLENT. There is even a direct, non stop, from the Sian Ka'an lobby to the Sian Ka'an private adults only beach. All Sian Ka'an buildings have 4 suites on each of 3 levels = 12 per building. Many but not all Sian Ka'an buildings have 8 Jacuzzi tubs per building - 4 on the grass (termed Superior Junior Suite Gardenview) - 4 on the roof above the suite (termed Superior Penthouse Junior Suite) - 0 on the second level (termed Superior Junior Suite) Other Sian Ka'an buildings have 0 Jacuzzi tubs. These are the only building with the smaller Junior Suites (some must be non-superior :o) I will write more in my review to other travellers but for now I can sum up my overall impression of Sian Ka'an as AWESOME which, unlike many people, is a word I reserve for something which inspires awe. The main components which set me on my heels were: - The food in the Sian Ka'an buffet and even the 24 hour Sian Ka'an snack area (exceeded ALL expectations) - The cocktails prepared and served in the lobby (fabulous) - The wait staff (impeccable) - The beach and swim area (although it receives mixed reviews from others)

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Food was not bad but resort is overcrowded with 3000 guests and poor service

grounds were well kept, hotel looks very nice, pools, beaches all good. service sucked very badly in all locations, reception, dining , drinks etc... Hotel management couldnt care less, they are full up with unsuspecting tourists who they may never see again and are relying on volume. We are like cattle. Very few could speak proper english so difficult to communicate (and I speak a little spanish so you can imagine). food was abundant but variety never strayed from norm. a la cartes were fully [... read more] booked from the moment we arrived and all we could get were 9pm and 10pm slots with three young children. almost 2 hour commute from airport to this resort. have to wait for shuttles all day long to get to rooms or buffet.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Always a great time!

As always, Temptation Resort does not disappoint! The staff is amazing and go out of their way to make your experience a memorable one. The food and drinks were great - although the wine and bubbly is always way too sweet. It would be nice to see some other options. As well any sort of diet option for mix is impossible to come by. As a person who does not drink sugary drinks this made things a bit more challenging. The music was also way better this year - well done! It will make or br [... read more]eak the party. Check in is quite slow and it would be nice to see that process sped up somewhat. Especially since we had already checked in online ahead of time. In addition, there are often small children around the beach area and this last visit they walked up to the quiet pool area. As this is an adults only topless optional resort this was an extremely unpleasant experience. This is my third visit and the third time this has happened. It would be nice to see this issue addressed and rectified for future patrons of the resort. But, all in all - fantastic! The people (both workers and vacationers) truly make this resort a magical place!

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Family fun

The hotel and its surroundings were beautiful. We fed wild monkeys and saw lots of different animals. Having the Xcaret Park so easily accessible was great. The only negatives were not a lot of entertainment for the kids and the food was never hot just warm

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Fun Family Resort

Resort is nice and clean. Rooms are in need of a little TLC. Had read reviews prior to going down to resort and requested an odd number room as per construction of a new resort being built on the even number side. Was denied and informed that my family was put in the "Nicer Side". We arrived at our room to find 2 maintenance men painting the door - door was open and room was full of paint fumes. Instantly I opened the balcony to air out the room. Construction went on daily. One night in pa [... read more]rticular was bad with cement trucks lined up and constant reverse beeping. We enjoyed the pool(s), beach, and water park. Never had an issue with getting chairs/ loungers at any of the areas. Food court was decent. All staff (minus the check in) were fantastic. The Mexican and French Restaurant were our favorite! Avoid the lighthouse - food was 2/10. Big Ben was okay 7/10 - service was comical as the waiter looked like he would have rather been somewhere else. Even watched him sing happy birthday with co-workers to a guest and before the song was finished threw the balloon at the table and spun around on his heels to leave. Entertainment crew did a great job with kids and adults. Kids club was good and my kids (11,9, and 5) enjoyed going there. Not impressed that if we wanted our mini fridge to be stocked daily that we had to buy an additional package. Upon arrival we received 2 very small bottles of water (for a family of 5). and that was it. But you could order room service... So there is a way around it. Wi-Fi was free only in lobby. Might be an issue for some. Only had 2 TV stations available in English - one movie and the other a cartoon. Elevators were often busy - so we used the stairs quite often - sometimes the stairwell had a strong unpleasant smell. All in all majority of our time was spent 8-2 at the pool/ beach. Nap / quiet time in our room from 2-4. Kids went to kids club in evenings and my husband and I enjoyed our time. Things we learned: 1) important to travel with bubba mugs/ refillable water canteens - could have made better use of water hydration stations and the cups at this resort are quite small. 2) one bathroom for a family of 5 was challenging... Would recommend to a friend if cheaper. Not a 5 star, maybe a 3.5 - 4 star at best.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Sian kaan

Was nice, not as luxurious as I would expect for an adults only at the price point. Great tram service to get between resorts. More shade would be beneficial around the pool areas. Entertainment was excellent .

Melia Puerto Vallarta: Melia!

If you have a family this is the resort to go to. As a single mom bringing my 2 kids ages 3 and 13, there was something for each of them to do, all of the time! My 3 year old LOVED the kids club. Isabel and Keren in the kids club were helpful and knowledgeable, and the kids loved being with them. Food was great! No matter which restaurant you went to there was something there for each one of us. Overall we always felt safe at this resort, and I never felt pressured to purchase or do anything we [... read more] didn't want to do. We will be back.

Grand Oasis Sens: Friendly crew, but not a big deal resort!

Hidden pool is the nicest place to rest, but be ready to wake up 6:30am if you want to ensure a nice place besides the pool. If you don't do that, people will put an old book and "reserve" the place for the full day. No restaurant 24h is a shame. The ALL inclusive actually is not all. The best restaurants require extra payment, something over 65 US dollar per person per dinner. Other pools have an awesome view of the ocean but are too shallow. It is a pool for babies!

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing Food and Service

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Check-in was smooth and very welcoming. Our room was beautiful, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. The Hideaway pool and Hideaway Beach Bar staff were so friendly and went over and above with their great service. Room service was an excellent option for us. I will recommend to pre-order room service the night before as you can book for a specific delivery time; orders can take up to an hour for delivery if not pre-ordered. The food is delightful. [... read more] The staff took the opportunity to impress us when we had a complaint. The ATMs had been removed from the hotel prior to our arrival. We wanted some cash on hand for tips but there was no way to get cash without ATMs around. After asking a few times about ATMs, and realizing that the replacement ATMs wouldn’t be delivered any time soon, the staff helped us by letting us use a local ATM designated for the staff use. This solved our issue as we then had cash to hold us over until the ATMs were put back in service. Note: guest ATMs dispense USD and you can break into smaller bills at the hotel front desk. The food was very impressive. Delicious, exciting, and served with a smile. We especially enjoyed the Hunter Steakhouse. There is typically a waiting list to get a table so check-in to the restaurant early, request a table, and then enjoy a drink and entertainment until you get called for your table. This seemed to be an issue for some guests but I think the no-reservation rule is the best way to go - guests all have a fair chance to enjoy the food at each restaurant - It’s WELL worth the wait! Overall this hotel was everything we hoped for and more. With a beautiful beach, plenty of pools, entertainment, shows, games, and so much food, there’s definitely something for everyone. We will be back to this hotel soon!

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit: Lovely resort, amazing service

This is a beautiful resort on a beautiful stretch of beach. It is more expensive than most of the resorts we typically stay at, which are as beautiful as this one, but the little things done at Grand Velas sets it apart. The staff are amazing and always ask if you need anything, and if you do, they jump on it. It is great having the high quality sun screen available around the pool. The breakfast buffet is great - the selection of fruit is better than anywhere else I've been. The food is on par with the other all-inclusives I've been to, which was a bit disappointing as the restaurants here are supposed to be amazing. I found the food was presented beautifully but they try to kind of deconstruct things and do things differently and sometimes you just want a caesar salad that tastes like a caesar salad. Worst tortilla soup I've seen - its like creamy tomato soup. I also found the food at the a la carte restaurants all needed more seasoning - a pinch of salt would have made a big difference. That said, the service at the restaurants was over the top and made up for the okay meals. Our room had many maintenance issues which were a pain to deal with - sinks were really slow to drain; bathtub drained when it was supposed to be holding water; tv wouldn't come on a few times, tv remote would stop working on a daily basis at random times. Another thing that could be improved - only one pool is warm and so it gets pretty crowded. It would be great if they heated 2 of the 3 pools and left one cool for people that want to cool off - it is odd to have one very crowded pool and 2 that are virtually empty all the time.

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: not what we expected

being a 5 star resort i was disappointed , overall the rooms were great and view was fantastic, best ocean view we have ever had. However the jets on the tub not working as well as the hot water in the sink, when reported nothing done. Food in buffet was terrible worst i have ever had, however in the restaurants excellent. No entertainment to be seen - lobey bar is combined with their sports bar and filled with kids every night. Beach was tiny and full of rocks. Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Vraiment sympathique

Autant pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants que pour les couples qui voyagent en amoureux, le site de l’hôtel offre de multiples activités et possibilités pour les vacances. Le personnel est courtois. Par contre, la baignade en mer peut se révéler moins agréable par la présence de nombreuses roches au sol.
