Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Perfect Family Getaway

We have stayed here twice now. 2 adults and 2 children(6 and 4 years old) and with my parents this time. First off the service is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Service in the restaurants is the best I have seen in any resort. The wait staff in the a la cartes go out of their way to make your experience really enjoyable and the food is very good. The buffets are very plentiful, always room and again the staff goes out of their way. The rooms are comfortable and cl [... read more]ean. The Pools - Wow. The kids water park is great, it's nice the kids have their own area to get their energy out. The main pool is huge, there are also other satellite pools for those wishing for something a little more quiet and very nice as well. The Beach - This is the reason we returned. Sand bladders block rough surf, so it is very appealing for all ages. It's a bit of a hike or you can take the shuttle, again, the guys driving teh shuttles are incredibly friendly, and they pass by every 10-15 mins. My favorite part is the snorkeling. I can't believe the species of fish you can see even if you just float along the roped in swimming area. Going outside of that(at your own risk) would will be in a small coral reef where you can see gar pike, lion fish(be careful), sting rays(ditto), sergeant majors and more. FANTASTIC and doesn;t cost you a dime. Lastly the entertainment is really good and gets better year over year. I mean, its good for a resort but going out to the Hacienda for the kids show was incredible. It was lion king last year and our boys loved it.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Wonderful Hotel with Excellent Amenities & Staff

This hotel is beyond beautiful, and the rooms are amazing. Staf went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Restaurants second to none, beach was beautiful, and pools excellent too. Be sure to visit the bar at the pool and play the crazy games too.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fabulous, second time around

I love this resort! We spent one week here at the end of March, our second visit to this resort. Everything was as good as before or better. The food was fabulous, as was our room and the weather. Don't let the trolly ride to the beach discourage you. It it really a 5-10 minute ride through a pristine resort. The waits were never more than 10 minutes. The staff here are outstanding and the pricepoint is unbelievable reasonable. Try it for yourself, you won't regret it:)

Selection Riviera Cancun: this resort was heaven and more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My every request was made FAST, Efficiency, and with care!!!! My wife and I were treated that it felt like we were a KING & QUEEN!!!! We decided to redo our Wedding vows 30th anniversary, it made my wife and I so HAPPY it was like the 1st. all over again!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Perfect resort for family vacation

Very nice resort located on the beautiful, well maintained ground. I had some reservations after reading reviews about beach and shallow waters but at the end it turned out to be one of the resort advantages. You can go in the water even during the storm because the beach is protected by a coral reef. At the same time you still can swim in open water that just 2-3 min walk away, very convenient. Grand Palladium Kantenah: Great Resort!

This hotel was clean and the grounds nicely kept. Loved the variety of food available. The beach was beautiful as well. I liked that we had access to the other resorts. There were paths for walking as well.

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Trip Of A Lifetime

This is one of the niceset resorts we have stayed at. If you want to relax in an adults only enviroment with very little stress and parting then this is the resort for you. Great Staff, Great Serivce and some of the best food anywhere. We have already book to return at XMAS.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Great view , Great staff , Great place .......

The trip went off without a hitch and I can Thank the gang at Trip central for that .. It was first class al the way .( Thanks to Kaylee Knight for that ) The hotel was Grand alright . This is a large resort with plenty of things to see. From the coffee shop to the games room and pool after pool WOW . With open access to both resorts on site you could have any pool exsperice you wanted from quiet and tranquial to wild and crazy it was there for you to choose. The resutrants were excellent!!! The BBQ on the beach Not bad Hamburgers , ( Costco Brand ) The rooms were cleaned everyday and we were treated to some fancy towel art . (Bravo to the staff ) . After dark the resort lights up in different colors .. greens reds and blues makes the walk from the resturants back to your room comfortable. The place is beautiful both at night and the during the day .. Thanks to Trip central desk and advice we booked a excellent day trip swimming in caves hicking and zip lining , oh did I mention the beach in Talum WOW .. The beach at the resort was nice too but a bit on the small side .. If you like walking the beach .. Bring some shoes as after the resort ends the rocks begin .. Overall the trip was five star .. Awesome beach, really enjoyed our stay there. Great food and drinks. Very friendly staff who always want to help. Excerllent beach and pool. the beach is clean and water is warm. Will definitely go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great Resort!

Big resort with plenty of space to wander and take in the sights. If you don't feel like walking...there are trolleys every few minutes, never a long wait. Lots of different restaurants with friendly service. Buffet was huge, stations for Mexican, Italian, Sushi, Vegetarian...you name it...something for everyone! Inexpensive excursions will add to your vacation. Try swimming with the sea turtles, visiting cenotes and the Tulum ruins. We would definitely return!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Best Vacation Ever!!!

This resort was so relaxing, grounds were beautiful, staff were exceptional. Dining was amazing .... Omar looked after our needs everyday, it was a pleasure going to the main buffet just to see his smiling face!! This resort was clean and was very easy to get around on the buggies. This would be a resort I would definately recommend to anyone and would go back for sure. Gotta love Mexico <3

enjoyed the resort over all.... al a carte food was over the top...the resort was huge in size lots of walking areas.... if you like a massage you must get one here....it was the best I have ever had....

Desire Riviera Maya Pearl Resort: Little Oasis

The resort was just right! not too big not too small, very well organized with great service and food. Rooms were nice. Workout gym was tired but, new equipment on the way.The Hot tub was a focal point for Happy hour....lots of fun. Greta evening entertainment!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Good Family Resort

The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were fantastic - very large. Our family of 4 had plenty of room. Food could have been better - lack of variety and the food was very bland. The best a-la carte was the Japanese Steakhouse. The entertainment was horrible - we always look forward to an evening drink and catch the show at other resorts, but we did not spend more than 5 minutes before we determined it was time to leave. Overall I would give the resort a 7 out of 10. If you can get a great deal on this resort - you wont be disappointed.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Over Rated for Sure

This hotel was very pretty but way way way to BIG!! There were a pile of kids and it wasnt March break anywhere in the world. There were piles of teenagers smoking by the side of the pool, some were in the pool smoking, some were just sitting beside the pool, when they were done their cigarettes, they just butted them right on the pool deck and left them, so when the wind blew (which it did) the butts went flying into the pool. The golf cart to take you everywhere had great timing, however, I am [... read more] not crazy about a resort that Im forced to use the golf carts. I would prefer the walk but that walk was way to far. They told us we had "pool view"- ummmm - if i could see around the trees I might have been ok to have the "pool view". The food is ok at best, it is definetly always the same, no theme nights at the buffet. Wasnt crazy about the Al la Carte's - ok, but poor service. For anything you wanted you needed to go to the front desk and wait in line never a line shorter then 10 people in it and only 2 people working the counter. Be careful of the "time share" people, they say it isnt time share, but tomato/tomatoe? They say you can eat at the "Sports Bar" 24 hours? The only thing we found to eat at the sports bar was croissant and jam at anytime of the day/night. Any hotel i have gone to the "sports bar" offers burgers/nachos/french fries/pizza- didnt find any of that there. The rooms were clean-no bugs.I would like to say for the money it was good - But NO!! For a few dollars more we could have gone to the resort down the street that I know very well but thought i would give a try to something new. If you want to hear kids crying/screaming/kicking/fighting with parents at all hours of the day, in the pool, in the restaurants then thats the resort for you. Dont pay the extra for the "swim up", that too is a joke for a "swim up". I would NEVER go back there!!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: 3rd visit to Grand Palladium

This was my 5th time to the Riveria Maya and my third time staying at the Grand Paladium. I would go back in a heart beat! The newly constructed water park for the kids was an excellent addition to this already beautiful resort. I love nature and did not want to be surrounded by cement and skyscrapers buildings so I really appreciated the iguanas, flamingos, lush vegetation and well maintained walkways and boardwalks. This resort had everything and more. A wide variety of yummy restaurants and b [... read more]uffets to choose from depending on your mood. The only thing I would change would be the pillows! Also, if you have mobility issues the layout of this resort is not ideal.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

To start off, the best thing about this place was the service. The way people catered to us was outstanding (thanks to all but in particular to Amado)! My wife's glutan allergy was not a problem here as staff went out of their way to accommodate. The rooms were also very nice. We were on our honeymoon so our room was always prepared in a fancy way. The best part w [... read more]as complimentary 24 hour room service. The beach while a tad small was also very nice. Great for kids as well! The only thing we really didn't like was the misleading way they tried to get us to join their "rewards" program. We were told we were going for a romantic honeymoon breakfast and would take only 90 minutes at their sister resort. It ended up being the same breakfast buffet as ours and sitting with a salesman for 3 hours trying to get us to join. Regardless of this we will be going back.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: fantastic resort

The grounds were very well kept. Huge resort, pools were wonderful and they had entertainment every afternoon. The people were very helpful and friendly. It was close to the airport which helps and the food was excellent. My husband and I loved this resort and would definitely go back.

Ocean Maya Royale: Bright, Sunny & HOT !!

a friend & I stayed at Ocean Maya Royale in Oct 2013. The weather was unusually hot -- approx 40C+. The resort is conveniently located for travel to Playa Del Carmen or Cancun. PROS - all staff were extremely fast, friendly & efficient. service was excellent -- the staff made the vacation more enjoyable. - the rooms were nice / air-conditioning was wonderful, especially with the extreme heat. - grounds well maintained & included signs identifying rooms / all the local wildlife. - upgraded to 'P [... read more]riviledge' after 2 days -- well worth the extra expense. CONS - there is little or no shade around the the small beach & pools. - * NOT ENOUGH BEACH CHAIRS * for everyone -- yet chairs/beds in 'Priviledge section were vacant. - ocean not easily accessible. - the theatre not air-conditioned -- TOO HOT to watch performances - food was fair, but, is repeated every few days.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great Resort!

We had a great time at this resort. The staff are excellent. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The gym needs an upgrade with the weights and strength training systems. The food was plentifuly and tasty.
