Riu Emerald Bay: Love this resort
We just returned from our 5th visit to riu emerald bay. This is the only resort we have gone to more than once and we travel at least 2 times a year. As all other times every thing was great. This resort is all Ocean view rooms and one of the cleanest places we have ever been to. We love the riu resorts because the food is always good. You can always find something to eat and enjoy. Where ever you look there is someone cleaning nothing is missed on the cleaning list. The staff is always friendly [... read more]

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Relaxing!
Awesome food, drinks, staff and location. Not too far from the airport. Shuttles were on time, easy check in. Everyone was helpful. Clean grounds, nice rooms. Beers were cold, rums were strong. All you need.
Grand Sunset Princess: Very Good Resort
The buildings and grounds were very clean and well maintained. We found the staff to be very friendly and courteous at all times. The food in all restaurants was very good. The Entertainment throughout the week was excellent.
Reef Club Playacar Beach: VERY GOOD TIME
This hotel was just great. We loved the size(not huge) and the fact that the front desk Rosa gave us a room close to the pool/beach. The room was small for 3 people and we had no hot water in shower for 3 days, also with no pressure. They made the water a bit warmer. My girls could not wash their hair for a few days. Because of high capacity of guests moving our room did not happen. Every thing else was fine. The food was amazing, pools nice temperature, ocean very lovely, sandy bottom is a pl [... read more]
Riu Flamingos: Wonderful place
The hotel not bad ,when we book in Tripp central they told us we don't need to reserve for fine dining restaurant but we went toItalian restaurant ,and the hostess told us we wait for an hour in order for s to eat but it looks like we need to reserve earlier In. order for us to eat.We are so hungry so we go to steak restaurant and its close again we try the Chinese also close we end up eating in the buffet.Ivan the manager of the restaurant is very helpful he resolve our problem .the next [... read more]
Las Palmas by the Sea: FUN RESORT!
Las Palmas by the Sea in Puerto Vallarta would be classified as a 2 or 3 star. It is very old with no apparent updates and the hallways echo a lot of noise. However, it is remarkably clean, very authentic Mexican style and the staff are amazing. The pools and hot tub are great and well kept. It is not the cleanest ocean area I have seen but you could still sit in the loungers on the beach and swim when the waves aren't too strong. Great place for meeting people and going on excursions as it [... read more]
Grand Oasis Palm: 5 stars, not so sure
You canno do reservations in advance for a la carte dinner and have to do line ups the same day to reserve a spot, if lucky ! You have to wait in line for a table and then line up for buffet .... not a good experience waiting that much to have a meal during vacations. Accommodations are good for a 5 stars hotel.
Crown Paradise Golden: Great resort
The resort was clean, on the beach, food was good, staff was friendly, and lots to keep you busy. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back. We could easily access a taxi from the hotel to any destination for a reasonable price. We enjoyed the privacy of the adults only. The spa was wonderful but a little pricey.
Excellence Playa Mujeres: Yet another wonderful trip at this resort!
This is my second time staying at Excellence Playa Mujeres. I went last year on a mother daughter trip and we had an amazing time. This year I came with my boyfriend and he was absolutely blown away by how great everything was. Wonderful rooms (particularly love the shower and the jacuzzi), can't go wrong with a soothing turn down service either. Immaculate grounds and pools- I like how the pools are refreshing. Great food, loved having the fresh pizza's on the beach, highly recommend the Italia [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Phenomenal Resort
We liked everything about this resort, great location, staff was excellent, food was awesome, lots of things to do, spa was amazing, rooms were clean and up to date. We would definitely go back, and hopefully will soon.
El Dorado Royale: Not bad, not perfect
The hotel is great. The service is also great but the beach is the worst thing for this hotel. Also, we got there for the food (apparently) it was a great place for the food - Culinary experience. Well, I'm not saying it wasn't good but not much restaurant where we could say WOW WOW WOW ! So the culinary experience is what I would called an ordinary food experience. To finish, another thing that is not great is the fact that you keep waiting for the restaurant all the time. Because there is no r [... read more]
Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun: Activities Galore.
The beach is the nicest we have seen in Mexico and the hotel went over and above to deal with the seaweed. Hotel is awesome. Some furniture was dated but clean. Activities staff were always doing something and the wifi schedule and printed schedule allowed you to plan your days. No reservations at the a la cartes was positive, never a line up. Food was excellent. Management planned meal time entertainment several times and had a good variety of entertainment for everyone. Just little things [... read more]
Allegro Cozumel: Good reasort
Grounds are very clean and so are the rooms food was very repetitive wish there was more options.they need new cups most where cracked and needed replacement. Staff was quick maid was amazing.people who work in the front desk and buffets/ala carts need to speak better english.pools where clean beach was OK hated that there where cigarettes all over the sand made it hard to have our toddlers playing we had to always sit them in towels.
Riu Flamingos: Great vacay with teens, I KNOW!
Taking two 16 year old boys with us to the RIU I was a little unsure that there would be enough for them to do but Nicole’s suggestion of this hotel was the right one. I was considering another hotel but she thought this one would be better for us. She was so right! The boys had a blast playing beach volleyball, waterpolo, boogie boarding and hanging with other kids they met through the week. The food was really good at the buffet and it changed daily. I mean it’s not gourmet but for [... read more]
Grand Oasis Palm: Great resort for families with young kids
hotel is great and perfect for kids - not your party resort amenities was a bit dated but not bad for the price we paid Don't overlook the baby club - there is a hidden area for younger kids need to venture out for shops and retails, but do create a quieter setting
Azul Ixtapa Resort: Great resort, fun time
Thanks to Sunwing for the Wednesday night dinner party. Staff are all very nice and friendly, most speak english, rooms, grounds always kept spotless. Food was good, wide selection Pools are nice and big, beach has perfect sand, not a stone on it, ocean waves are small, lots of activities to take part in. We would go back again for two weeks
Marina Fiesta Resort and Spa: Had a wonderful time at Marina Fiesta!
Awesome destination if you don't need beach time to enjoy Cabo. So cool to have your all inclusive access at the Golden Zone restaurants. Tons to enjoy in the whole marina area with all the shops, restaurants, and bars. Vendors are plenty but be polite and they are too. Must visit Cabo Wabo, Happy Endings, the malls and casino.
Las Brisas Huatulco: Great Family Resort
Exceptional specialty beaches for sports, relaxing and snorkeling. No shortage of lounges and chairs. Clean spacious rooms. Ours had a magnificent view of the beaches and bay. All of the restaurants had interesting selections and we were always served fresh, quality offerings. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Although English speaking abilities varied with the staff, there was no problem communicating and they always seemed to 'Do Their Best'. The elevation was challenging at times but [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Lovely
Beautiful and manicured. So many pools and choice of food. Something for everyone. Most service is on par. Buffet service could be more consistent. Rooms are clean and serviced appropriately. Very large so you’ll want to take advantage of the golf carts Nd trolley when you get a chance.
