Hotel Bella Costa: Great Resort

I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in need of some repair, it looks like there has been zero upkeep over the years. The food was very very good, best I have had at a Cuban vacation spot. Clean towels, and water daily. Some of the guests I found to be disruptive, but overall the stay was fantastic.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Amazing family resort!

This was our first time in Jamaica, and won't be our last. We will come to this resort again! If you are looking for a great family spot , where the kids can stay entertained, this is the resort for you. The waterpark was a huge plus for us, as was our own private plunge pool on our terrace. Food was amazing, room was spacious enough for 4 of us with separate beds for the kids . Staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure you have a good time.

Hotel Bella Costa: Great time!

It is a tired resort, however being in the suites off the hotel was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good, we had no issues with it but it was pretty consistent each day at the buffet. Italian á la carte was delicious. The beach was beautiful and the pool was nice. A lot of kids in the adult pool, and a fecal incident shut it down for an afternoon. The lobby bar was great, an evening favourite.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Amazing resort!!

This resort was fantastic! From the food to the grounds, even the people. Everything far exceeded our expectations!!! Literally nothing bad to say about our experience. The water park was just an added bonus to our already incredible vacation!

Hotel Bella Costa: Good resort for the price

The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed meeting locals staying there there with their families. The beach was beautiful. The resort is older and in need of TLC. The pool liner needs to be replaced but it would be costly to do. It did not bother me or others that were in the pool. The only issues that was bothersome was the glasses at the buffet for juice etc were not washed with soap, just rinsed and were still dirty. Plates were just rinsed off. Breezes Bahamas: satisfied would return if we decide Bahamas.

Rooms - to begin with the rooms i would have to say really good. You can defiantly tell that the cleaning staff use proper soaps to clean the floors and around corners. it's smelt fresh upon entering the room each day. 2 negatives things that i did not like and should've seen to prepare is you get no mini fridge which i'm used to from Dominican and Jamaica getting free water, pops and beers ect each day to keep the thirst away. On top there was no water provided and in hot climates you need hyd [... read more]ration which unfortunately you had to spend $5 USD per day for my wife and i for a 1.5L bottle. sometimes two per day. ALSO please people... if you go to a resort because of a world class room stay at home. you're there to enjoy weather and get a tan :) the rooms are nice and you'll be satisfied. Dining - breakfast, lunch and dinner had been pretty good. for the size of the resort i guess you could say food selection was decent. not to much but it had your mains like meats, pasta, rice ect.. Fruits always stocked and sweets. i'm not to complain about many options as taste was there. WE NEVER WENT to the A la carte restaurants as my wife was pregnant at the time and wanted to munch here and there. i did here good selections and enjoyment out of them tho. Italian was a nice one from people thoughts, maybe next time. Public areas - nice, VERY open. as soon as you enter to check in you can see the ocean and breeze coming in through the windowless areas. once again very clean and it being an open environment in the lobby area makes it feel nice and relaxing. Pool - pool was nice, big enough for the crowd there and you had space to swim around with the swim up bar. seating was nice, always a place to sit down and choose from. there was also a snack bar which served hamburgers, hot dogs / fries and other munchy foods. Beach - the best sand I've ever walked in! so beautiful and sea weed free on the resort area. Really relaxing laying in a hammock listening to the oceans waves. They did have these little shaded huts you could rent out for $50 a day USD but i didn't see the experience there when they'd just serve you drinks and get you food. nothing special or worth 50$ to me. getting up once in a while to grab a drink is nice to walk around. save your money. Plus if you need or want shade go under a palm tree which was more enjoyable for us and is free :) Overall - i would recommend this resort to others looking for a nice getaway small but has what you need we did walk the beach down to Melia and BahAmar resort and tbh... you're paying much more for something where #1 the price wont change the weather or conditions you're in and #2 if you want to spend 3-600$ more a person feel free but honestly you can enjoy yourself just as much as you can on the other resorts. it all depends what you go on vacation for. All in all do a little research before booking and i'm sure you'll make a great choice :) Bahamas was defiantly nice and relaxing, hope to return one day.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Good family resort

Great resort for families...we stayed here with our boys ages 9 & 6. Had a really fun time at the water park and enjoyed everything about this place. Beach is large and crystal clear. Food was good and staff friendly. No complaints Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Was most impressed with our accommodations - rooms were clean, the food was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. The grounds were well groomed - entertainment was great and the beach was amazing. Sunny and hot everyday with a nice trade wind. Took some day trips - Havana, etc. Wonderful time!!

Hotel Bella Costa: It is still a good resort and will get a New Managment on July 1st Iberostar.

The Resort has recovert from the Tornado. The New Beach open Restaurant is better than before.But I notised that they bring in to many Cubans with to many Kids .No Mannors or Respect the Tourist which pay a lot of money to come hear..Hope it will improve with the New Management..

This was 11th time at this resort and we enjoy it every year. We look forward to going there. The spot is beautiful and all the workers are great and very helpful. The resort is laid out and everything is very accessible.

Breezes Bahamas: Great time in Bahamas!

Overall, we had a great time but there were some things that could be improved. The resort itself needs to be updated. The decor is old, roof needs to be done etc. We upgraded our room to oceanfront instead of the oceanview we originally had and it was definitely worth it. The no tipping policy was great but unfortunately the staff seemed less motivated and the service was not as good as other resorts where tipping is allowed. No surprise though. I wish they had a tea/coffee area for guests. The beach was amazing!!!!

Breezes Bahamas: Great resort if you are on a budget

Having been to multiple all-inclusive across the Caribbean this location gives you a lot of bang for your buck! We were looking for an inexpensive girls get away and that what we got! The location is close to the airport and the layout of the resort is great. Not a large property so convenient to get around and other than one very busy day chairs were available at beach every day and no line-ups in the buffet. No balcony was a disappointment Also there are no fridges in the room and a lack of easily accessible drinking water was a concern. You had to go to the bar for water and when it was closed there was no place to get water? This resort caters to March Break students and with the heat and the alcohol consumption I think this resort really needs to look at solution for this matter!

Breezes Bahamas: Value for what we paid !!! absolutely

Breezes is indeed an older resort The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable , very disappointed that there were no Balconies, nor fridges and water available in rooms. Beach and Pool were both wonderful . No issues with chairs being available even with the resort being full. The staff at the bars and beach BBQ work very hard for hours with no slow time . Managements needs to be made aware to staff up to accommodate when they are fully booked. Entertainment staff kept all busy that wanted to be involved from morning to evening . Excellent !!!! Now the only complaint I have is .The resort caters to spring breakers . The young people were honestly not a bother to me nor the group I was travelling with . On the last night we were there a young lady had too much to drink and pass out on the floor in the lobby bar . She was vomiting every where and all over herself. No one knew her name or room number . It took a few of us tourists to demand that management call an ambulance and have this young lady looked after . after putting her in a wheel chair and placing her in the front lobby for all to see , finally her room was found and she was taken to her room . But we still slept un easy as was this young lady alright ?? we do not know . If resorts are catering to spring breakers they need to have processes in place to handle such events . Would I recommend this resort ABSOLUTLY Would I book again with Kevin at Trip central Absolutely. Kevin has been booking our trip for several years now and I will continue to call him and I have recommended Him to several friends looking to travel . .

Breezes Bahamas: Great resort!

Breezes was a perfect resort to spend our five day vacation. The resort was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were super comfy. We were only a 20 minute bus ride to downtown Nassau for sightseeing and shopping, and a 5 minute walk to the casino next door. The beach was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: March break fun!

A perfect sized resort for families. Everything is close by...beach, pools, restaurants, bars and water park. Great staff and lots of things for the kids to do - ours are 8 and 11 - plenty of staff at the water park and running the kids club. Good food and enough variety to keep everyone happy. Basic rooms were a bit on the small side but we spent very little time there...it was never an issue. Staff kept rooms and grounds clean. We can’t wait to go back!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Fantastic trip!

The Jewel Runaway Bay is an excellent place to take your kids. The water park is a ton of fun and the kids can safely have the full run of the resort on their own. The beach is beautiful and there is a coral reef near by so the fish will swim right up to you even when you're swimming in the roped off area. Food, drinks and staff are awesome! Our 3 boys (ages 12 , 10 , 7) particularly loved the nighttime games of capture the flag on the beach with the kids/ teen club. Very clean, smoking only allowed in a few designated places away from the main activity areas. My only suggestion for this resort is that they do the audience participation portion of the show after the main stage portion because it seemed to me that they lost a lot of their audience as people snuck away to prevent being chosen for the audience participation activities on stage and that left very few people to stay for the higher quality entertainment such as the steel drum show or the historic dancing or the excellent guest singers with the band. Overall though: a definite gem in a fantastic country: yeah mon!

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Lovely resort

The rooms were very clean as was the whole resort. The only complaint is that to have a fridge in your room it would cost $8 a day. That should come with the room. The grounds are beautiful, restaurant very nice, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Our family had a great vacation at this resort. The staff were terrific, very accommodating and genuinely engaged with us and the children. For families with young children I would recommend booking a room away from the water park due to the noise of the music and some nightly teen entertainment sessions which made afternoon naps and early bedtimes a bit challenging. Also wished the water park opened earlier than 10:30am. None of this however was a dealbreaker for me! I would not hestitate recommending this resort to anyone, we had a wonderful time here!

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Excellent 10 days at Rooms on the Beach, Negril

Upon arrival our room was ready, staff were very accommodating when we asked to be change to a lower level and we were changed the next morning. Reception staff were very helpful if we had questions or concerns, they would go out of their way to help. Continental breakfast was great to get our day started and if you require more or if we slept in as we did some days, we purchased a full breakfast for an excellent price. Cleaning staff did a great job, our room was always clean when we returned from the beach. Beach is beautiful, O’Neil and Chris did a great job of making sure the beach was clean and that we had everything we needed on the beach. Security is great they check your room number as you leave and arrive back. We had a wonderful weather for 10 days and hope to return soon for a longer visit next time making this our 7th visit to Rooms. Hotel Bella Costa: DISGUSTING

The rooms were dirty....especially the floor, your feet were black if you walked on it so I wore sandals the entire time. The beds were the only thing the room attendants touched...nothing was cleaned, water marks left on tables the entire time. Hit and miss with towels. I asked for a coffee pot on Monday and never did get one, so I couldn't make coffee. Coffee was only served at breakfast which didn't sit well with us Canadians. Room leaked from under the floor and down the walls in so [... read more]me rooms. Floor was flooded in one room. Heard the same comment from other guests as well. Food was digusting....tasted terrible and meat was full of gristle...couldn't even separate beef from the gristle....was uneatable unless you like greasy fat loaded beef. Glasses were dirty at times as well as dinner plates were not always clean. Cook at pasta table warmed pasta in a pan and from time to time would grab a dirty cloth (rag really) from under the counter and wipe the pan out and continue on ..not acceptable. I had a bun one morning with breakfast and I pulled it open and there was along hair in it. DISGUSTING....no more bread for the rest of the stay. Buildings were really in need of a facelift and walkways were cracked with holes here and there... I think you get the general idea regarding the resort. Staff at the front desk were useless...anytime you asked for something or needed anything it never happened. The desk kept our passports overnight which is NOT ACCEPTABLE....CANADIANS TRAVELLING MUST ALWAYS HAVE THEIR PASSPORTS ON THEM AT ALL TIME. In fact they lost one of our groups' documentation and she had to travel to Havana to the Embassy twice during the week to replace the document she needed to get back into Canada. This would not have happened if the passport was given back promptly on check in. No need to go on. Very dissatisfied with service but Cuba was a great place to visit and beach was beautiful...
