Unfriendly Staff
The first encounter with the Flamingo hotel was a nightmare!! We arrived at midnight (Las Vegas time), only to see about 100 people in the registration line. We tried to use the self serve checkin, however that was unsuccessful. We waited in this line for 3 HOURS!!!!! There were 8 people in our party (4 rooms) and when our vacation was booked 5 months in advance.... we asked for the rooms to be close to each other. When we FINALLY got to the front counter, the girl was very unfriendly and d [... read more]
Not the same place
The place has changed less machines more poker tables. The sit down restaurant has closed . Only a mall style food court. Or the buffet. We will not stay here again. Better value at other casinos. Only a few dollar machines.
Beautiful trip
Its was a decent hotel for the price, I felt secure and was treated nicely. The resort fee was a bit disappointing, I would try to find a resort that doesn't have that fee in the future since I didn't get any extra for all the extra money!! The ground was nice and I enjoy the Gran Canyon trip and so did the California trip. The flight was one of the best I had, both ways!! I would go back in a flash!!
Nice location
Nice renovated room king bed clean, views of the bally,s,recommended for the area central to everything close to bellagio, mirage, treasure, ceaser, etc a lot of restaurant to choose from, good place at venitian bottom floor food court good pizza at reasonable price, good luck

Flamingo hotel las vegas
as it was off season the pools weren't open but hotel was a very nice, clean and rooms were very comfortable as it is a huge but older hotel and needs a few upgrades it is on the vegas strip and theirs not many complaints by me because its just some wheir to sleep for the night.
Fanatstic resort
I upgraded our room for an extra $25.00 per night and it was well worth it, the check in staff did all they could do to make sure I was happy and happy I was. The Casino was clean the rooms were grate.
Good but could be better
I travel with my son who is 8 and having tried different hotel on a previous trip the flamingo is not as family friendly as others. Not being given correct information when asked .I asked do they provide a place to change money from sterling to dollar and bearing in mind my son was with me I was told to go to the cage and would be done. I was then told by the girl it's illegal for her to change my money which didn't make sense as I was told to go there by the person in the lobby which annoyed m [... read more]
Great hotel
The hotel was in the perfect location, central on the strip with lots of great shopping within waking distance. The hotel staff were very helpful & courteous. The rooms were clean & updated. I would recommend the high roller suite as an upgrade.
Resort could use a facelift!
Overall for the price, it was a good hotel. Buffet needs a bit more cleanliness. Rooms were clean. Staff at hotel was great. Buffet staff were rude. Great location. Hallways need to be tended to more.
Alright
This hotel is a little dated and the rooms are nothing to rave over. The food court food isn't that great late at night when you're starving. We stayed on the 25th floor and the first night we were there it smelt really really bad!! Vomit is my best description of the smell. This was on a Sunday night and from that night on it got better, smell wise anyway. The location of the Flamingo is very central on the strip. if you're looking for something like that and for cheap then this could be the pl [... read more]
Amazing resort
Everything about my trip was amazing! The shopping was great and the casinos were fun! I loved that the resort is located in the middle of the strip, it was super convenient for walking the strip and checking things out! Overall great experience and I'll definitely be back!
Lines!
Hotel was OK, but lines for check-in, check-out, rewards, etc. were insane! It didn't seem to matter what day it was, or what time it was. There was always a lineup for everything. They should consider adding more staff, as I will not stay here again until I see this change.
Amazing hotel, great location!
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was super clean. We had an amazing view from our room of the Vegas strip. Fabulous location, right in the middle of all the excitement. This was my second time staying at the flamingo and I will definitely be back.
Loud, noisy, dumpy rooms
The room we stayed in was dumpy and old. No baseboards in the bathroom, no coffee maker, no bar fridge, rusted taps in bathroom, scored tub and low water pressure. A lot of drunken, noisy under 30 age kids in lobby and hallways. We saw no security there the 5 days we were there. No information, books etc. about the area hotel services etc. in room or at front desk. No buffet except on week-ends. Food was expensive-$3.50 for a sm. coffee, Flamingo steak house very expensive and food was disgustin [... read more]
Good except...
The trip was good except there was a hidden resort fee (indicated in the very fine print) which added $28/day to the bill. It was an annoying extra $140 fee which if known, might have effected which package I selected.
Fantastic trip!
First time in Vegas and we had a great time! Hotel was awesome! Very clean and great view of the strip! Great location. Only complaint was we tried to go to the pool twice (during the week.. At 10am) and both times all the chairs were full. Really wanted to have a nice pool day but wasn't able to when we were sitting on the edge of the pool keeping a close watch of our IDs (21+ pool). Also drinks were $16 by the pool.. Maybe it's like that everywhere in Vegas though but was kinda shocked. Pool w [... read more]
It was a nice resort
Rooms need a little attention, but they were clean, restaurants gaming floor and shops were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in line was long, could have had more attendants on. Gaming floor music very loud
Disappointing
We've been to Vegas many times and have stayed at various hotels, and this was so disappointing. Our first impression was not good. Coming In from the parking garage, the elevator and hallways were very dirty. Check in was fine, then up to the room. The hotel is old....I get it But it smells , from the hallways and into the room. Just opening the door the our room, the smell hit you. Understand that this room was apparently renovated two years ago and was non smoking. We're not in Vegas to spend [... read more]
Best birthday ever
I came to the flamingo with 5 of my girlfriends on my 29th birthday. When I checked in I gave the lady $20 and asked if there was anything she could do to make my birthday extra special, and she did - my one friend I was rooming with and I were upgraded to an executive room on the top (28th) floor. The benefits of this room: 50 square feet extra, which meant a couch, a mini fridge and a beautiful view of the strip. I'm glad we got this, the other two rooms of our group that were on the 4th floor [... read more]
