Great winter get away

Enjoyed 11 days at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach resort. Very friendly staff; yards and grounds very well kept; food was great and plentiful with the chefs asking for opinions to want to ensure food was top notch and if improvements required. Beach was nice, although some days had seaweed, which was taken care of by staff. Entertainment crew was exceptional and engaging with the guests. Very large pools and very clean.

Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resort

The hotel was great as usual. Our third time there. The landscaping is beautiful. The room service was good, the service was good and the variety of food was excellent at the buffet house. The staff always greeting us with a smile. The star Friends were very friendly specially Luis, Liliana, Fernando in the entertainment field, always ready to please. Paraiso Beach

The grounds were immaculate. The room was lovely. We found the place a little big for us. There lots of walking but we could catch the tram if we needed to. We found the people very friendly. My husband found that the bars did not stock alot of canadian rye. They kept running out. All in all we had a great week.

Wonderful Hotel!!

I would think that you would find it difficult to find anything wrong with this hotel. The Hotel was one of the best that our group has travelled to and we have been travelling together for 22 years. The hotel was spotless, from your hotel room, dining halls, restaurants to the public washrooms, it was so clean. The gardens were spectacular , they were always working away on the outdoor space and even kept the walkways tidy...what an amazing hotel. The pools were amazing and fun to splash around in, and of course from the pool swim up bar to the lobby bar, to the beach bar we enjoyed the variety of drinks made, and always with a smile!! We cannot say enough about the food, the buffet was grand with a great variety of food and we did have the opportunity to eat at the Japanese, Mexican and Steakhouse and loved them all. This is definitely a place we will be returning too....Amazing staff that was always smiling and polite....LOVED IT!!!

Fabulous Resort

We have just returned from spending a week at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resort in Mexico. It is a beautiful resort with friendly competent staff who are more than eager to make your stay a positive experience. Our room was lovely, beach fabulous(a little windy during our stay), pools are endless. Food was amazing, many thanks to Alicia for getting our group of 21 into the restaurants. No complaints about this resort. Great experience

Fun times!

The resort was beautiful! The swans, peacocks and pink Flamingos were beautiful! Good food at buffet and the Japanese restaurant was good, and the LaHaciende was really good. The Salmon at La Puerto restaurant was the best! The only down was I had asked for king bed and to be close to my granddaughters so they could see when they wanted, that did not happen. The front desk was was totally unsympathetic as they had given our room away for the king size bed. Really....we had requested it before h [... read more]and and to be close to our granddaughters so they should have not given it away. Not happy about front desk request but resort itself was nice.

Great place

We had a really great time. We found the rooms very clean. The food was good. The atmosphere accommodated everyone. You could be quite and relax, or have a really fun time. Really accommodating staff. We will go back.

Lovely Stay

Stayed February 6th to February 13th, 2018 - My husband and I chose this resort for our honeymoon and could not be happier with that choice. The staff was lovely, the rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfy. The food was good (not the best I have ever had, but definitely good enough to make me look forward to meals). The pool is massive and I can definitely say you will never have any difficulty finding a pool chair to lounge on, no matter the time of day. All good except for the food!

The hotel and grounds was one of the most beautiful we have seen and we travel 2-3 times a year to all inclusive properties. The staff is pretty amazing, they all seem happy to be there and are always willing to help. The beach and swimming pools are lovely. Entertainment staff work hard during the day and the shows at night were well done. The only downside was the food, lack of variety!! We very seldom saw meats of any kind and small selection of fish only...one evening some small steaks, [... read more] another evening a pork roast but other than that a very small selection. A la carte were just OK, Japanese was actually quite good. We had a great week with a party of 23 for an after Wedding Group and all agreed that the food was under par for the price we paid and the brand Iberostar. For this reason most of us would not return to this property.

Amazing hotel! Best trip yet!

Had an amazing time at this hotel. The food, beach, grounds and staff were amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The check in was smooth. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. We had great weather and enjoyed ourselves. Animation team was terrific. I would definitely go back!

Very nice resort

The hotel was amazing. Staff waited on you hand and foot, the drinks were amazing and so is the food. If you want a tiki hut by the beach go early in the day as by afternoon they were totally gone!!!!

Perfect

Check in, the food, the room, the drinks, the beach, housekeeping, the entertainment crew, all of it was perfect. The resort was well kept and I felt safe walking around. There was plenty to do to keep me busy.

Awesome resort

This resort is a five star in my mind. My husband and I were there for 9 days. This was our first time at a Iberostar. The food, grounds,employees,beach all was so good. The grounds with all the green and birds is very plesent to walk through as you make your journey from you room to the buffet. We were in 33 building so a fair walk but very enjoyable with the grounds to enjoy. They have enough chairs and palapa at the beach that you always get one you do not need to save them. The employees are [... read more] excellent, our air conditioner was not working when we got to our room. We informed them it was fixed within 20 min. Impressive. Beach is beautiful, was windy when we were there so water was rough but that is not the resorts control. Very lovely stay.

Best resort!

This is the only resort I’ve seen that embraces the beauty of its country and strives to keep it that way. On our trip we saw peacocks, coati, iguanas, flamingos, and more while walking the grounds. The staff is unbelievably kind and always go out of their way to make sure you’re having a good time. The food has a huge range in variety and caters to any pallet. You’ll find different hits and misses at each restaurant you visit. The beach is stunning and the earlier you get there the better [... read more] chance to pick a good spot. Only downside is that the pools get pretty chilly with no sun but the bars will keep you warm with endless drinks. I was heartbroken when we had to leave but would go back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful.The resort is very well maintained and the grounds are beautiful! We have two suggestions, one is to update the guest rooms as far as decor. They are vey clean! The other is to have more signs for the quiet area of the pool and to put one at the bar in that area. Too many loud abnoxious people would come to that area and wreck it for those trying to enjoy some quiet time.

Great resort

Nice pools, nice service, nice beach, nice food. Great pool entertainment team and lots of activities to do. For the price I paid it was quite a good resort. The pool stretches about 200 meters which is was nice. There was a diverse food selection. Would recommend the steakhouse.

Great Resort

Clean resort, good food and activities for most ages. Service was good. Pharmacy never had basic things we needed and ordering over the counter meds from next town was very pricey. Was concerned about too much algae at the beach based in reviews. This was not an issue for us in mid-December.

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful time with our family of 5. Our children are young adults and enjoyed the resort as much as we did. There were many activities for them and the food was excellent, many choices at the buffet, so it never got boring. Only improvement suggestions: Better labeling of the food, so you know what you are eating/ wish to try. And please get some real butter, not ultra pasteurized. My husband was very late for dinner that day, and was not accommodated by the restaurant. It was a little disappointing, because the restaurants very never packed. It would not have taken much to fry up a steak. So he had to eat appetizers and dessert. We have nothing to compare our stay to, because this was our first time in Mexico and our first time at a resort. Rooms were clean and comfortable, grounds were kept meticulously and had some native wildlife, which was quite magical. Did not see any bugs the whole week.I loved the open air concept of the lobby, and restaurants, and it was always comfortable, never needed a sweater. I am not sure how hot it would get in the summer, though. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed it every day. I loved that there was shade provided at the beach. It was sometimes hard to get a chair, because people reserve chairs for the whole day, which is not allowed. The hotel could do a better job encouraging people not to be chair hoggers. The pool was big and kids enjoyed it, but extremely slippery tiles around the pool, and everywhere (if the floors get wet through rain). The whole resort seemed a bit big, but my kids said that way there were more people to get activities going. One thing I did not enjoy was the pushy way time share meetings were marketed to us right away, before we even got our room. Scrap that! I can do without that as a welcome! The shopping centre is for the most part totally overpriced. No idea who goes shopping there, but I guess if you forgot something it is handy to have. It is a nice place to have coffee or enjoy a taco, and see the Mayan cultural performance. We had to visit the clinic twice and got good service both times. Overall we had an amazing time and would love to go back!

Simply Amazing!

In December 5 of us girlfriends went to Iberostar Paraiso Beach and all of us were amazed at the service we received!! Everyone was happy to help us out and we felt so welcomed. The entertainment was AWESOME, from shows every night to activities on the beach and at the pool. We had SO much fun :) Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Memories to last a lifetime!

Thank you Iberostar Paraiso Beach for making our vacation for our group of 8 so amazing. The beach and ocean was so beautiful and clean. The pool, bars and food was excellent. Not a complaint to be made, the food selection and quality exceeded my expectation. Japanese A la carte restaurant was rated the best by our group. Shout out to Lilliane and Luis from the entertainment staff. We miss your smile Lilly. The grounds are lush, full of wildlife. Only two recommendations during our stay: could use more trolley service ( I enjoyed the walking this time as we didn't have our younger kids with us) and more music for all pool bars.
