Excellent resort

We stayed first week of June, and from the time we got pick up at airport and shuttle to hotel and shuttled back our stay was very pleasant. The beach is spectacular, pool is average, food is great at la carte but buffet needs work, same food almost everyday, lunch at ocean could use some variety, maybe some pizza/nachos/cheese to help yourself instead of waiting 20 minutes for your order. Bars need additional staff added long line ups, beer needs to be upgraded, Montana is a low quality, Roo [... read more]m are very clean, maid was very pleasant, and our mini bar server Michel was amazing great customer service every day(made sure our fridge was stock- room 2110) Entertaining staff events activities need over haul- very boring. Need pool side music playing all day -Evening entertainment could be better and having disco start so late is ridiculous given all shows over at 9:30.

Ok

Beach ok, food was ok, service was unbelievably slow could not believe how slow at bars and restaurants. Rooms were kept clean and basic but fine. People very friendly. Had water dripping in washroom asked three days in row to fix but never did. Nice to go to once but that was enough.

Amazing place

nothing bad about this place food was very good, always some thing to eat even for picky people. will not fly air Canada again. 2 hrs just to get your boarding pass to leave the island. made it through customs with 15 min. to spare. to close.

Sunscape Curacao Resort

We were at this resort about 10 years ago when it was called Breezes. They have renovated since then and modernized. Overall I would rate this location as a 3. The resort facilities are good and the beach chairs are numerous. The 4 restaurants are good but service is slow. Our main issue is with the service. When we checked in and reviewed the room we had no shampoo and hand towels and face cloths. Some of this didn't get resolved till two days later. Also, the shower is lukewarm and that [... read more] was never addressed. The toilet is 3" off the wall and the toilet paper is behind you (poor design). Housekeeping was a consistent issue with items being forgotten to be replaced. The property is very large with lots of beach and water shoes are recommended due to coral.

A good resort

Excellent modern resort well maintained and perfect size The food was good, but not over the top... The buffet was pretty much the same for every meal, somewhat uninspiring if you ask me. The rooms are modern and new with little to no noise.

Great for weather, snorkelling, location and value

Curacao is a perfect location for reliable weather. It’s hot, but there is a nice breeze that tempers the heat. Sunscape has the best “from the beach” snorkelling that we’ve encountered so far (better than Akumal, Mexico). Lots to do at this resort and it’s a quick 15 minutes from the lovely and safe city of Willemstadt. We hope to go back for another visit!

Excellent Location, Decent Food, Nice Size

The location near Willemstad was perfect and the snorkelling at the hotel beach was excellent. The food was average, but they had very good vegetarian options. Rooms could use updating but are clean and comfortable. The resort is a nice size, enough activity and choice to keep things interesting, but not too big. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great resort for a free and easy vacation.

This resort was terrific and exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, greeted with cold cloths and cold punch. Efficient check-in. Guest rooms were large and so was the balcony. Very clean inside and out. Layout of property easy to navigate. Many activities to be involved in or not. Easy to get to town or aquarium. Staff were exceptionally wonderful - smiles all the time and eager to please. Norma at the pool bar is a standout along with Prince T of activities. Beautiful Beach

Beach was incredible and weather was gorgeous. After reading reviews we were worried about food and service. Both ended up being great. Japanese and Steak Restaurant were delicious and service was friendly. Resort grounds and suites were very clean. A big Thank you to Karol Chareza for recommending this resort!!

Nice Resort

Enjoyed the stay very much. Our room was in the Tower and close to pool, beach, restaurants and all daily and nightly entertainment which was quite convenient. The private beach is amazing and the pool area is right on the beach which makes it a great view even when sitting around the pool.

Curacao Feb 2019

We were a little worried about going to the Sunscape from the reviews but we actually enjoyed our stay there beach and pool were good, food was ok some days better then others we did not starve!!!! Rooms are dated but we don't go for the room as we are on the beach all day and out and about at night. My grand daughter loved it we were so close to pool and ocean that she could go to either. We went into town and it was fun!!! It could be an amazing resort with a little work. Staff were ok some [... read more] were better at helping!!!! We enjoyed the Grill for lunch. My husband and I both had massages the were wonderful Nelly and Elisbeth we amazing would definitely would recommend getting a massage. We paid 1900.00 and would not pay anymore than that. Great time by all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice Resort

Suncscape Curacao was a nice resort with pleasant staff who always responded with, 'it a pleasure'. Food was good and plentiful, not an extreme high end gourmet, so if you starve you deserve too! Property including beach was clean and well maintained. Entertainment staff were great, providing day time and evening activities for all. The buildings and rooms were dated, but very spacious. A good paint job inside the rooms and hallways as well as a shower/tub area upgrade would go a long way [... read more]...then I would definitely consider returning.

Ok resort.

So this resort is beautiful. Our room was not at all what we were expecting a little disappointing the garden view was terrible and the balcony you could not sit out on. This was a deal of the day room would not recommend. No coffee maker. And a couple days our room was not cleaned by 4:30. The service is slow 2 to 2 and a half hours for supper. Price was quite high for what we got.

Outstanding resort

This resort is marvelous. The food was great, especially in the specialty restaurants. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly. For those who are snorkelers the break wall has an abundance of sea life and it is not very far off shore. The waters are calm and good for swimming. In some places it is hard to enter the water, but one needs to walk about 100 feet and enter in the sand. Great resort our 5th time here.

Fun for Everyone

Wayne and I were not sure about a resort that was not adult only but this resort is set up so well we really did not find it interfered with our activities at all. The food was well cooked and the choices though repetitious from day to day had enough variety to ensure we were satisfied. We ate in the main area which served breakfast, lunch and dinner for most meals. Wayne had lunch at the beach bar once and enjoyed his burger. The Italian restaurant was a nice change from the buffet and the portions were just right and hot as sometimes at the buffet your choices cool down before you return to your table. The only thing that may turn some people off in the main eating area would be the birds that fly in and out of the area and at times land on the food platters. Wayne and I especially enjoyed the snorkelling on the beach. Even though it is always very windy, the breakwall in the water stops the waves from reaching the swim area but still allows many varieties of fish to inhabit this section of sea. We were able to snorkel every day, not having to worry about rough water or jellyfish!

Great resort

Yes this resort is older, however the rooms are clean, there’s hot water for showers, options for meals, fantastic beach. The staff is super friendly. The resort is about a 10 minute cab ride to Will instead, where there’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars, and the floating market.

Has everything you need & great staff!

Pools are ok. Beach is amazing. Great snorkeling right from the shore. Tons of fish as soon as you walk out. The food is ok. Very good in some instances but definitely not a 5 star resort. They could use some more variety. However, it has everything you need. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are big and very clean. Although it's an older hotel and on the small side we love it. We stayed in the new portion (Royal Tower) and our view was perfect. Close to Paradise@

Hotel room was very good. A little TLC req'd. Grounds were excellent. Swimming & snorkeling in the protected beaches was the best! Loved the VIP service. All the restaurants were very good. Location was perfect for privacy yet close enough to attractions. And the people were super friendly. Loved the multilingual chatter with guests...

Something For Everyone Resort!

This all inclusive resort was fabulous. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Staff were so helpful. Food was good with lots of options. Lots to explore in a tour or on your own. We walked halfway to town, so much to see. Mambo beach next door. Thought this offered everything a great family resort could and more! Would go back in a minute.

Nice resort

No complaints about the resort knowing that we booked a four star resort, beach was great for swimming, the resort itself is an older resort but well looked after and very clean. Big shout out and Thank You to Mark the Casino Manger who stepped up when hotel management couldn't be bothered, Mark went well above and beyond to help us out while we were in a bit of a predicament and also Ecko who made sure our stay was fun and enjoyable. The only complaint would be that booking with Trip Central,  [... read more]we up graded our flight to business class ( which was not cheap) with the guarantee from travel agent that we would have the Maple Leaf Lounges at both Toronto and Curacao airports, when we arrived for our departing flight, which was delayed at Curacao airport we were informed that there was no such lounge available for us.
