Wonderful Resort

The resort was beautifully landscaped. The grounds people were very gracious in ensuring we were not harmed in any way when tending to the grounds. I cannot say enough about the service staff. All waiters, servers, maids and front desk staff were excellent. Always smiling and helping to assist us and provided clarification with our limited spanish. Smiles on all their faces all the time. Special mention should go out to Glynnes who served us our first drink. She had a wonderful perso [... read more]nality and continued to ensure we were looked after at the bar during our stay. Jasmin was extremely friendly as well with a great spirit. While in the ala cartes, Alta Gracia and Yiesel were wonderful. They both ensured we had everything we needed and went overboard at times. We also enjoyed Louiza at the bar as well. Darwyn always looked after us at the after hours bar. During breakfast we enjoyed interacting with Ordalina who ensured our coffee was full. She was very sweet. Reynaldo kept us well fed as well with his great personality. At guest services, Thomas went out of his way to ensure we could connect by phone to a relative. He also provided professional advise about going off the resort. During the day at the pool, we always looked forward to seeing Grey who always had a smile and ensured we had everything we needed. We enjoyed her company and look forward to seeing her again next time. I can't say enough about Grey as she was so genuinely friendly and sincere. One of the most important things when travelling is to have a room that is inviting and clean. Lucy was one of the best maids we have ever had while travelling. I am so grateful that she takes pride in her work. When I requested extra bedding, it was there within the day. We were very pleased with her work. One thing I wasn't pleased with was the staff at the gift shop. When we went into the shop, we were constantly followed around like we were criminals and sales staff rarely thanked us for our purchases or smiled. I am, sorry I have to add this but think it's important. All in all a great resort with wonderful staff. I am sure I have missed some wonderful staff members but again am very satisfied and pleased with the service we received while at the resort.

What a Lovely Place!

This is our sixth consecutive visit to Punta Cana Princess Resort for Adults and we were not disappointed. Something has to be said for returning to a familiar resort where everyone knows who you are immediately & provides such a warm welcome....makes one feel at home. Love this place !

Third year going. We keep going back and are never disapointed. All rooms are walking distance to the beach. Resort is Clean, beautiful. Staff are amazing, very friendly. Food is great. No complaints, will defiantly go back again !

Excellent Resort

The hotel is beautiful, small and close to the beach, the rooms are stunning and the view in building 4 and 5 are the best! The staff are so special and go out of their way to treat you like family, that is why this was our third time back and this was our first time for two weeks to which we will do again next year. I was quite impressed by how they treat every guest no matter how many times you have been there. I would like to shout out to a few of the workers there, although I can't remember all names some are; Felix at the beach who will take very good care of you, Tonny one of the entertainment staff who is one of the funniest guys I have met as well as all the girls who work with him, I know there is a guy at the pool who does the entertainment there as well I didn't get his name because we spent our time at the beach but watching him and his crew from my balcony always kept me entertained. The buffet staff will do all they can to make you happy, Raysa and the girls who seat you at the Buffett were truly wonderful, we didn't do a lot of the ala'cartes because the staff at the Buffett were so special and we all became very close to them.

Awesome resort!!

An awesome resort. We would definitely return again. Really good food with lots of variety. No need to make reservations at restaurants which was great. Grounds nicely kept and with a small resort you get to meet people and also get to know the staff - awesome workers. Really nice pool and beach - lots of chairs available. Love this place!!

Punta Cana Princess, NO FIVE STAR

I rate this hotel as follows: 4 Beach 5 (awesome) Rooms 4 (are ok, some plumbing issues) Lobby 4 (furniture needs to be up dated not comfortable at all, ceiling fan not working) Grounds 4 (very nice) Gym 2 (terrible for the rating this hotel is given, most equipment is broken, not working, all is very old ) VIP Beach beds 3 (most are rotted and deformed) Food 4 (not great, just good) House Wine 1 (By far the worse red and white I have ever tasted) We are wine drinkers and we had to pay f [... read more]or good wine.We were not to happy about that. The staff was great, the house keeping was great.

Everything we hoped for and more!

We liked everything about this resort. The size was perfect. We like small resorts where everything is within close proximity. It is very clean and well maintained. The grounds are very lush and green with flower bushes. The décor is modern and tasteful. We were very pleased with our room but would have preferred a better view. The only thing I would modify about the rooms are the mattresses. We loved the king size bed but it was quite hard. I would also suggest adding magnifying mirrors in th [... read more]e bathroom for applying makeup. I found the lighting made it difficult to see what I was doing. We loved taking long walks on the beach and laying by the pool. The gradual entry pool is a plus! The restaurants were all very good as well. The one thing that sticks in our minds the most is the wonderful staff who work so hard everyday. They make you feel special and welcome. A special thank you to Raphael who makes great omelettes, Raysa for all her welcoming smiles, Yosaira for her attentive bar service, and Alexander the Great for taking good care of us. We would definitely go back to Punta Cana Princess again someday...

Perfect resort

As usual the resort was great, the service was excellent and the staff make you feel very welcomed.We have been at the resort for the past ten years and intend to go back next year. The food is very good especially the chicken and the pork chops, the beef as everywhere on the island is a bit tough. Fruit and vegetables are aplenty and very fresh.

Beautiful Resort

It was a beautiful resort, immaculate grounds, rooms, facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and the food was good with lots of variety. We would have appreciated better entertainment at our hotel but we enjoyed the entertainment at Tropical/Caribe. The beach was amazing and clean. Overall it was wonderful.

Amazing Vacation

Great quiet adults only hotel. If you want excitement you can go to the sister resorts on property. Staff here are top notch. They would go above and beyond for their guests. I would go back next time I go to Punta Cana

Punta cana princess

This hotel is very clean and nicely laid out. The beach is absolutely beautiful. The only thing I hated while staying here was the guys selling necklaces and gadgets. They don't leave you alone. The drinks are VERY alcoholic lol they don't understand what a little rum means . Very relaxing resort.

A Place to Relax

The staff is excellent:- accommodating, cheerful and prolific. Reception also well executed at the front desk, rum in room, complimentary slippers, robes (nobody wore them) and cigars. The rooms look modern, but could be dangerous for the elderly - a sunken living area with very little space between beds and steps. If one gets disoriented, especially at night, one can fall and get hurt. Our shower was able to squeeze only warm water; telephones (2) did not work; the shampoo and bath gel need [... read more]ed a Hercules to squeeze the contents. In some cases rain water entered rooms on main level. Food decoration was awesome, and there was plenty, although it could have profited by more herbs. The "Mare Nostrum" (mainly seafood) restaurant was adequate, the "Tex-Mex" (steak house) was less so, while the Italian place served mainly pasta and pizza. House wine was below average. Pool, beach and chairs were excellent. So-so in total...

Best honeymoon ever!

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was a beautiful 2 floor suite with 2 balconies. Everyday was beautiful at this resort. The food was great. It was clean. Lots to do. Beach was amazing. The staff was so attentive, friendly and overall always happy! We went on the dune buggies excursion booked through Nexus, which we thoroughly enjoyed and would do again. Also went on a booze cruise booked through Seapro, was also great fun! We also had access to the neighbouring resorts which we often visited as their grounds were beautiful with peacocks and all different bird walking around freely. We so enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fantastic adults only place to relax but also have fun!

Wonderful Resort

This was a wonderful resort and very relaxing! The food was amazing, buffet and sit-down restaurants were great. The staff was all very friendly and helpful when you needed anything. LA, who does the water sports, was very helpful and not pushy at all. We did find that the guys running the little shop by the pool were a bit pushy but we just ignored them and kept walking and they left us alone. We had one issue with our key card not working and they replaced it right away (saying it was due to it being put beside a cell phone). The WIFI in the lobby worked great to check-in back home with the rest of the family. The entertainment staff were all very fun. The only item that bugged us was that they have a wonderful list of daily events but they typically are not following the list very well. We went over to the disco at the adjoining resort but found it was way too loud and we were hoping for more North American music, so we left pretty quick. Did one ziplining trip and it was amazing!

Excellent Resort for Adults

The grounds are great, perfect. Wonderful place for adults only. Some nights the vendors going towards your dinner are in our opinion not welcome. We have them on the beach , please not going on your evening adventure. This was our 2nd year, and would highly recommend it for a wonderful r & r vacation. The resort is small, but the location is the best, you cannot have a better view of the ocean, morning sunrise. Rooms are great, everything is there for your needs. No worry about slippers or robe, just waiting for you and even more! We found the little shop next door to it called Happy Time the best place to shop. Prices are very good, and no hassle. Great Resort

We had a great time at this resort. The staff were great, the food was really good. The beach was clean for the first few days but with all the high waves there was a bit of seaweed gathering on the beach. We had no issues with anything at this resort. Would definitely go back again!

Great Resort, Will definitely returning!!

This resort was great, from the room view to the beach and the food. The staff was fantastic, ready to look after all your needs. It's a small adults only resort, which was great. We had assess to the sister hotels and their restaurants. Food there was great as well. No line ups for food, and I like that there is no reservations needed for dinners at this resort. Great resort

Resort is very nice. Food was good, beach awesome, great adults only resort!!! Very friendly staff. Great service. Great view of ocean and pool from our room in building 5. Not sure why people complain !!!

Very nice and quiet resort. Perfect for couples!

The grounds were well taken care of, the staff friendly and accommodating. The beach was beautiful, pool clean and our room was lovely. Although.....The alcohol was watered down unless you asked for the good stuff. I would definitely go back again. Loved the quiet and relaxing week!!

Very pleased

We quite enjoyed our time at the Punta Cana Princess and were very pleased with relaxed atmosphere throughout the resort. High marks to the staff that quickly learned your name and preferences to help us enjoy our stay. Any interaction with support services was always followed up by a phone call to ensure all was in order.
