Excellent time

Hotel was great and had awesome staff amenities and features. We were given a very pleasurable experience, with very friendly onsite staff, and lots of different things like activities and events to participate.

Everything You Want

That is what the staff at the Majestic do for you and there was no I am busy or that annoying unaccommodating glance. In the 14 days I was their the staff looked to see what they could help you with. Constant cleaning of floors, grounds and bars Another impressive point was the bartenders you name it they made it, go there and try it. So what made my decision to go to the Majestic, the pool I love long swims to work out and hands down the pool here is one of the better ones. Pool Opens at 8am and meticulously cleaned and the bar opens at 9am with the blender firing up for the day. Cheers!

Beautiful Hotel

This being our 2nd visit to the Majestic Colonial, we had a point of reference for comparison. Some of the differences were clearly due to Covid-19. There was no Paella lunch on the beach. The daily beach BBQ was extremely streamlined in selection, but the burgers and fixings that were provided were delicious. Ten years ago there were also opportunities to sign up for special dinners on the beach (not the romantic dinners) We had several different themed dinners on our last visit. The [... read more] buffet, while there was a great deal of selection, the signage was not very accurate and sometimes not there at all. For example, when making a salad for myself at the salad bar, I used what was labeled as Ranch dressing, but looked like French. It was, in fact, hot sauce making the salad inedible and my mouth burning. There wasn't any cohesion in the item selections, as far as themes so you knew you were eating Chinese food, for example. Of course, there were the tradition items that were offered daily. However, with the signage being non existent, and my experience with the salad dressing, I hesitated to try some of the newer items. I feel this probably led to a lot of food waste. The carving station had lovely meats daily. The breakfast buffet was really good. The desserts were absolutely AMAZING, works of art and almost too pretty to eat! The a la cart restaurants we went to (Steak House and Tapenyaki) were very good. I feel that during our last visit the Mexican restaurant was also the Italian restaurant on alternate nights. This would have been nice to have at the resort. The food service certainly tried to make sure there was something for everyone.

Amazing Resort

The resort was always clean and tidy, the staff were very professional and friendly. The food was really good, the animations and shows were great. We had a really nice time staying at Majestic Colonial!

Ideal destination

Well maintained property, beautiful gardens with mature trees. Huge rooms with whirlpool tubs, sitting areas, as well as spacious open balconies.All walkways from rooms to main venues are covered, no need for sun or rain umbrellas. Beautiful meandering pool from one end to another. Beach front restaurant and buffet offers breathtaking views of beach and ocean . Plenty of loungers and shade. A wonderful vacation

This was our 4th vacation at Majestic Colonial and it was our best. Everything from check in to check out was fantastic. A big shout out to Francisco our butler,(he was the best) to Yris our maid, (she certainly looked after us) to Fedeline in the Club room to Angel and Yohanny at the beach. All the staff was so friendly and always smiling. Great selection of restaurants and snack areas. We had an Ocean view room which was the best. A fantastic view 24/7. Terrific well kept resort.

All amenities were great including the beach and VIP lounge for the Majestic package. We plan on returning. There was a good amount of choice for outdoor, indoor dining options as well as outdoor entertainment.

It's our 3rd time at this resort Always a great experience. Stayed in Colonial Club section. Noisy the 1st few nights. Too many college kids partying in the hall. But security finally stopped that

Majestic Elegance

Majestic it was such a great experience the rooms were fantastic the cleaning people were wonderful we had a waitress Judit and she was absolutely amazing loved her love her love her. We had a butler and his name was Dario I don’t think I have enough words to explain how wonderful of a person he was he made our experience the best it could be I would definitely come back because of your staff. It really was a great experience

Resort is Awesome - Great Food, best beaches and the rooms were the bomb!

We had a great time and would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to escape the everyday!! The French Restaurant was our groups favorite and we really enjoyed the Beach. Thank you for making our stay very pleasurable.

Beautiful Pool and Beach

The Majestic Colonial is a lovely resort. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean. We had two massive balconies - one overlooking the beautiful pool and one more private one with a jacuzzi tub. The pool was lovely and the beach was too. Very clean and very relaxing. Had no trouble getting beach chairs at the pool or at the beach. The food was ok. Liked the option of having a fresh omelet at breakfast and freshly cooked chicken or beef for lunch. Staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and always seemed to be so happy and in good cheer.

Great resort and best location!!

This is our 3rd time visiting Punta Cana and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Great beach and upgrading to the Colonial Club was the best experience ever. Eduardo our butler met all our needs and kept us informed about the daily goings on etc. This is the first Caribbean resort we have been at that had absolutely no lack of space, loungers and 24 hours food. What a lovely week!

I have just returned from a wonderful and relaxing week at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana! The grounds were immaculate, perfectly kept and so lush. The winding pool that snakes through the resort is such a refreshing break from the typical square/round pool and helps create a more private experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a little dated, but still comfortable. Wonderful Time - Fabulous Staff

The Majestic Colonial Resort was the perfect size for us. We never had to wait in line and it never seemed crowded. The staff from the maids to the bartenders to the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't help but notice how much fun the waiters always seemed to be having while working. Beautiful resort

Clean resort, great food selection at buffet as well as all other restaurants. Rooms cleaned in a timely manner. Lots of shade at beach. Grounds are impeccable. Great service at various bars. Received a call twice during our stay to ensure everything was fine.

Terrible Experience

I have travel over the last 25 years and I have never had such a bad experience and so many problems on my travels The staff was not friendly, the food was boring, and there was no real hospitality in genera. although i would like to send a shout out to the following staff members Lionel Richie our butler, Carols the pool bar tender, Gavin the swim up bar bar tender, Eric (Cokacola) activity team. Great time at Majestic

We go to the Caribbean every year and our time at the Majestic was excellent. The food good, had Crown Royal for me, grounds/pool perfect and we had a great room with a view of the ocean. We did have some minor issues but all were dealt with and I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Wonderful facility

-rooms were clean and well appointed -food in every restaurant was wonderful -service on every front was exceptional -staff are very friendly, helpful and always smiling -easy process to check in and check out -entertainment was varied and quite enjoyable

3rd time ended up a charm

Started poorly...flight was delayed ~ 5 hrs, middle of the night arrival, escorted to a room not even close to what was requested (close to ocean- facing the pool) and no keys (seriously) ...just ushered to a room and said keys would be avail in the morning...not a happy spouse Next day - early start and was on the whole team' case for about 3 hours ...move to a new room in the early afternoon, perfect, just what we had initially requested, and with keys! also included a banner acknowledging [... read more] 'rtn mbr' Colonial Club is so worth it - beach chairs and pool tents...enjoyed them both Food - VG - Evening restaurants, French 1st choice, and Japanese a close 2nd (but portion size at the latter was way too large) One blouse also seems to have gone missing...but otherwise can't say enough +ive things about the staff in every role they fulfill

10 glorious days

We love the majestic . From the moment you arrive into the grand foyer and sweeping stairs leading to lower bar. The people greet you with warmth, happy to make sure you are made to feel like part of their family. I love the grounds, always colourful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean and our maid Olga attended to our needs. The beaches are fabulous, plenty of seating. Bars every direction, and the service is fantastic with numerous great tasting drinks. The pools and the g [... read more]ym need a little work Restaurants are not crowded, no waiting and food amazing. That is our fourth time there, and already looking to hook trip number 5.
