Great time at the fair priced hotel.

This resort is a huge resort… It is beautiful… The The grounds are Beautiful… The food is awesome… And it is fair price for your dollar… The lady hands inside is definitely in better condition and newer looking than the grand Playdium side… But all in all definitely a fun place could place the only real negative is if you are not in good walking condition or if you are elderly and I don't like to walk… This resort might not be the one for you… There are shuttles… You need s [... read more]ome patients to just relax and wait if you're going to wait for the shuttle stop for my wife and I… Would love to walk and run so we love this resort no problem Mon!! 🏝🇯🇲🌴🏝🇯🇲🌴🏝😁

Terrific Resort

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was excellent. The food was very good including the a la carte restaurants. We enjoyed the beaches and especially being able to snorkel right off Sunset Cove beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All and all a very satisfying week.

Wonderful Resort

Everything was great! We were a party of 12 and everyone had a great time! The staff are very, very friendly; accommodations were the best; food was good - especially the steak at the Bubba restaurant; pool is fabulous and the beach is beautiful - even had some snorkelling off the beach at the far end of the resort. I can't wait to come again!

Fantastic resort

Everything was wonderful. I have many food sensitivities but they accommodated them completely. Everyone was polite and helpful. Food was great and so was our room. Pool was wonderful and all the restaurants were delicious

Needs some work

This was our first time to jamacia and second time to stay at a palladium resort and we were pretty disappointed. The country itself was absolutely beautiful, as was the resort. It was very large and both the beach and the pool were great. We upgraded to an ocean view room which was totally worth it. The rooms were a little outdated. The maid service was inconsistent. We would only receive towels sometimes, other days they would come restock the fridge but not make the bed ext. the walls could u [... read more]se some new paint and the furniture was old and musty. The whole resort could actually use some updating to be honest. We were quite supprised with how the staff made you feel like you were an inconvience. The shuttles rarely came, you would wait an hour or more for dinner even with a reservation. If you didn't tip the bartenders before they took your order you would wait forever for a drink. There was no entertainment around the pool which is odd because most other resorts we've gone to the pool was always the loudest most fun spot to be. The Buffett had the same foods every night and definitely had a cockroach infestation. They would be running all around the counter tops. When I mentioned this to the manager he said we are aware we're taking care of it and walked away. I think with a little attention to detail and maybe a overhaul of the staff this place could be really great.

Amazing trip!

We stayed at this resort January 11-18th and loved it! The staff was amazing, the resort itself was very clean. Our favourite restaurant was by far the Japanese. Book the show table.. by far the best! Room was very big and had an amazing view of the ocean. The only complaint would be the shower that leaked every time so we would end up with a huge puddle in the bathroom and occassionally would smell like sewage... we found if we kept the air conditioning running it would get rid of the smell [... read more]. The pool area was very big and the resort was not busy at all, we never had to wait for anything. The beach areas were very nice... nice sand and the staff was on top of keeping it cleaned of seaweed. Snorkeling off the beach was amazing.. you just had to swim out a bit. Would definitely recommend this resort and would love to go back again some time!

Had time of our life.

Our families have been to at least 6 resorts and we feel this has been the place. What made it so special: - service was fantastic, friendly, caring with a great sense of humour - spacious rooms with great ocean view - food was fantastic - many great restaurants to choose from every evening Beach is small but nice. Nothing like the great Cuban beaches.

Dissappointing

When we arrived our room was not stocked with towels water or beer, we went without towels for 2 days. Chain lock was broken and hanging off the door. Shower and the room was not clean by any countries standards. Although there were some very polite staff most were rude and not very helpful. Room was so far from the beach and ameneties that we ended up with blistered feet. The good beach was not available to all guests, if you were a travel club member you had the good beach, if you are just a v [... read more]acationer you were segregated to a lower class of beach. To top things off on the 5th night, my pocket was picked by a vendor. The list goes on and on about the poor service and the staff. Very disappointed for my first trip to Jamaica.

A View to beat all views

We have done some extensive traveling to many different all-inclusive resorts and this property offered by far the best layout we have encountered yet. The main lobby building is built around a spectacular pool that is the largest on the island. The various levels in this building offer multiple dining options, amazing lounge areas that offer a view to die for where you can kick back and relax while being entertained with music. Unfortunately that same level of friendliness and helpfulness did not apply to the majority of the rest of the staff. The food was plentiful and diverse and for the most part very enjoyable. We had an ocean front room that offered incredible panoramic views and our suite was large and very comfortable. When we had an issue with beach towels the night Manager was more than accommodating and had towels delivered to our suite before we had even finished our evening coffee. This is a gem of a property, that needs to upgrade their level of service in the dining and public areas and hang on to all the charm that the rest of the resort offers. Put this resort on your list as a must visit in Jamaica.

Beautiful resort

The resort is beautiful and clean. Friendly staff. Lots of restaurants and plenty of space at the beach and pool areas. Rooms were very clean but the bathroom was not the best. Steak and itialioam restaurants are very good but hard to get into as you cannot make reservations. I advise to get there when they open. I would definitely come back to this resort.

Awesome resort

Only changes required more staff for drinks and upgrade in bathrooms ... not enough bars open line ups long for food and drinks... hotel was nice bathrooms need renovations as they are older and new mattress

Amaising

I like the quality of the rooms, restorants,,bars, beaches. Only one suggestion. The deserts were not good. You need to offer fresh skuise juices at one of the bars all the time. Children and healthy eating people like me are used to do this in our dayly breakfast . You need to have honey too available for breakfast. Rest was grest I am happy with the gym.quite beaches.

Grand Palladium was not as good as expected

I will give 3 stars to the Grand Palladium Jamaica. We travel a lot and I compare GP Jamaica with the other two Palladium's that we've already went to at Riviera Maya and Dominican Republic. This is at the bottom of the list ... and we came here having high expectations ... Why ? First of all we are returning guests for Palladium - the only think they have for returning guests are 4 very small cookies ... Is better to be a returning guest for Bahia Príncipe or Iberostar where we've got upgra [... read more]ded room, separate check in, more services, even a weekly private party for returning guests at Bahia Príncipe Tulum etc ... so, the returning guests for Palladium are not valuable customers ... Somebody asked me - what we can do or change to make your stay better? - I will say change the people's more precisely change the management team. We love Jamaica and previously we had amazing experiences at SansSouci, Sandals and Veranda. The property is huge, beautiful beaches, the property is old but well kept and clean. One of the issues is the fact that the property is renovating 2 restaurants, part of the building and more ... that means great news for future customers ... but for us, was less choices, one of the beach with no washroom, noise etc. and they are doing nothing to accommodate the customers or to limit the consequences. The food and restaurants. The food was ok, nothing more. Less choices than at Bahia Principe or Iberostar. Less choices than at Palladium Riviera Maya ... the peoples at the restaurants generally unfriendly ... The best experience for us was at the steak house, great service, great food. At Palladium to reserve a restaurant is a privilege ... Was low season and the customers are waiting in line outside of the restaurants to get a table ... simply unacceptable ! I don't even imagine what will be for the Christmas and the end of the year ... At Palladium Jamaica the kids Club was great. Our 5 YO daughter just love it. Overall this hotel has potential and can be great ... But for the same price I will recommend to choose a different hotel chain for now. Finally - Grand Palladium or Lady Hamilton ? I was happy I didn't spend the money for Lady Hamilton ... Is not worth the difference, you have access to the same services, same restaurants, same beaches the same room size and amenities ... Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort

Upon arrival at the Grand Palladium in Jamaica we were first told that they didn't have our booking. They discovered our reservation at the sister resort - Lady Hamilton! We found out from the relatives we were meeting from the UK that they wrote to Palladium asking that our group stay together in the same part of the resort. They went one step further and upgraded all of us (5 couples) to the Lady Hamilton. What a nice surprise! Throughout the week the resort ran out of supplies - bananas, fresh pineapple, gin, beef (at the steakhouse). The breakfast buffet items seemed to deplete quickly and less options available as the stay went out, Seemed like they were watching the budget!!

Horriable hotal with the worst service

The beachs are great, ocean calm and water great for swimming. Food is awesome in the buffet but other then that it's ok went to the steak house which was horrible under cook steaks,raw potatoes couldn't even finish the meal. The staff is probably the rudest and least caring I have ever had always expected a tip even if they did nothing to deserve it. Not worth the money

It was an ok resort but not worth the money. There's lots of pros and cons so I'll list what comes to mind. If you like bland, boring food, the buffets are for you. The al-a-cart restaurants were good as was the sports bar. The staff was friendly but don't expect much more than that. The staff were also more than willing to offer us marijuana, cocaine, and even offered the services of a prostitute to one of our friends. Not sure what kind of resort this is. We couldn't even get our mini bar/fri [... read more]dge restocked. We had a leak in the bathroom that no one ever repaired, so water was constantly coming through the wall. We had complimentary coffee in our room but no coffee maker. We also got ripped off for $60 after the photo hut gave us a blank DVD and did not respond back to me when contacted about it. The entertainment department did a great job with their shows and assorted activities. Lots of options for off resort excursions but be prepared to pay lots. Coarse sand on the beach which wasn't exactly nice to walk on. The pool was really nice, except it was half closed for renovations. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. You can definitely get better value for your money.

Just okay

Rooms were fine. Pool bar amazing service thanks too simone and Alexis .the sports bar was great food. Buffets had a very minimal selection if you arent a fan of meat. Restaurants you should definitely reserve or you will be waiting a very long time. Not senior friendky at all. The grounds need more people picking up debris. The gardeners will approach you along with other staff to try and sell you dope.

The Only Way To Vacation

From the moment we landed in montego bay there was a representative waiting to take us to our bus. We left the airport right away and to about 40 min to get to the resort Check in was fast and when we opened the door to our room, paradise. Food was amazing and the staff truly made our vacation the most relaxing one we have had yet They really do care about the people who visit.

Great Time!

Note: To those who do not like large resorts and lots of walking, you may want to look elsewhere. We didn't mind the long walks. Also, be advised that the resort is currently undergoing some renovations (which we were not advised of prior to booking or departing) in November 2016. The disruptions were minimal however. Other than that, [... read more] we had a great experience at the Grand Palladium Jamaica. The pool is one of the best in the Caribbean we've ever had the luxury of using. The beaches are okay (clean and spacious), but are not on the sample level of beauty as Mexico, or even close to Cuba. The entertainment and serving staff go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and are comfortable. Food in the a la cartes we visited (Italian, Steakhouse, Indian, Mexican) was exceptional, however the quality and variety in the buffets need improvement. By no means will you starve, however. Rooms are spacious and clean. We were fortunate to have a 3rd floor, ocean view room given to us upon arrival and could not have been more pleased.

Wow!! just wow!! :))

My first time to Jamaica and I was beyond amazed!! Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful well kept grounds. Room (only a junior suite) was huge and clean. Pools gorgeous. Bars plentiful and fast service. The Sunset Cove with Jerk restaurant was a delight. Beautiful sandy beach and food excellent. Minimal wait for any of the many a la carte restaurants. I feel like I could go on and on more about how fantastic my week was at this resort. But I won't-go and be amazed at a real 5* resort!
