Hotel Rancho Luna: 3-star resort

Best thing about the resort is the staff (special shout-out to Izbel the entertainment guy, and Barbara, who took care of our room). The pool is good, clean and large enough so you don't feel crowded. The beach is also clean, and the kayaks and paddle boats were always available to use. Unfortunately the food brings the star rating down but Cienfuegos is nearby with very reasonably priced restaurant options.

simple hotel yet unbelievable experience amazing shows and great people plus wonderful excursions such as el nicho and the dolphins excursion which is a 5 minute walk from the resort will do it again for sure

wonderful litle place rooms are old in need of repairs but food is excelent great variety lots of sweets personal very pleasant and nice .but the best of all the beach golden sand and blue water no seaweed month of november not many people peace and quiet beautiful beach bar serving drinks and lunch everyday. we.had a super great time and were very pleased with the place.just to let you know place is old but super clean

Hotel Rancho Luna: Amazing staff, not so amazing time for a trip to Cuba

I picked a time in which the Cuban diesel and gasoline supplies were in a shortage, and in this particular case that meant there were shortages of many amenities one would expect from an 'all inclusive' vacation. (e.g. Beer/Cerveza was limited). The resort was also pretty empty, not that this is a bad or good thing, but just that the time of year chosen was one where there were fewer tourists in the country (or at least this resort). Hotel Rancho Luna: it was okay

customer service was very good rooms were okay but the beach needs some clean up need to pick up the garbage more often unfortunately it rained all week we only had 2 days of sun coffee machine was broken quite often they need to have more snacks between meals or a place that you buy food.

The only thing is that's Hotel mixed with a local Cuban people and tourist Canada the mixed together this service is no good especially in the restaurant and serving beers the staff in the hotel there are super nice the time I was there over 200 Cubans to came to hotel and it wasn't enough stuff to serve people

Hotel Rancho Luna: amazing resort

The resort has everything travellers expect in a Cuban all inclusive...great service, great food, great pools, great beach and clean rooms. ALL the staff are friendly and accommodating. As the saying goes...treat people respectfully; the sentiment will be returned to you. The resort is close to many off site excursions so go out and explore/enjoy the area!!!! Faro Luna: Birthday get away

We had a great time at this Hotel - the food was great and of course all the people as well. My only complaint is that we didn't have water to shower a lot of the time - unless we complained. I was very disappointed that after speaking with the Manager and expressing my concern that the morning of our flight - NO WATER !!!!

It was awful worst ever the pace is falling apart if it wasn,t for the nice staff it would be a nightmare no beach to swim in as it is full of seaweed writ to the shore sliding door wouldn,t lock no ac in cafertreia bugs and insects caused me great suffering took pictures of the mould sanitation is going downhill and could put ones health at risk esp seniors

Hotel Rancho Luna: Great first experience in Cuba

Had a great first experience. Rooms were clean, buffet style food was pretty good with lots to choose from, and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. For being a 3 star, I was a bit worried, but i had a good experience, and would definitely go back, as well as recommend to all. Thank you Rancho Luna for a fun filled first time experience to Cuba, I really enjoyed myself

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: A great vacation!

What a beautiful resort! The staff is all amazing, the food was excellent and the beach is perfect. The weather for the two weeks we were there was picture perfect every day all day long. The rooms are very clean and have lots of space. There is a double decker bus that comes by a few times daily to take you into Trinidad and you can ride it all day for 5 CUC. That was fun. Make sure you visit some of the small villages around the resort. The people are lovely there. At no time did we feel we were not safe and we went off on our own a lot. This is an awesome feeling for sure. This is a great place to vacation. We stayed for two weeks and were never bored. We will be going back there for sure!

Club Amigo Ancon: Great beach

This resort has an absolutely fabulous beach. no water shoes needed here. Trinidad is close by, by bus or cab and a lot of fun to walk and take in the culture and wonderful old buildings. This resort has no money exchange but can exchange in Trinidad. The resort was at the time of my trip mostly older and younger couples. Be aware as a woman travelling alone that you will be propositioned everywhere on resort and off, sometimes in an uncomfortable manner. Rooms were older but always clean. Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Best Vacation Ever

Large rooms, clean, hot water, good water pressure, awesome pool, manicured grounds and great food to suit every taste. Management & staff are the best!! Any issues are addressed immediately and they sure make it possible to enjoy a wonderful Cuban experience. Lots of places to visit either on excursions /or double decker bus (5 pesos all day pass) We met many other tourists on the resort & it was agreed that this resort is by far the best in the area!! Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Good resort

Great staff. Friendly, especially if you show you care for them. Busy beech but very few panhandlers. It was fairly clean. Early morning crew removed seaweed before sunbathers arrived. Food was OK. but not enough choices for breakfast. Our tourism representative was well informed on all activities in the area and spoke Spanish, English and French fluently. Interesting historical tours with knowledgeable guides of the two nearest cities.

Grounds, beach area are nice. Large swimming pool. Public areas are ok, but washrooms lack soap and toilet paper. Rooms are nice but there are little ants crawling on walls and in bathroom areas. I got bitten on legs, arms and neck by either bedbugs, mosquitos or fleas (cannot decide which). Lots of stray cats and dogs on property. Dining area is airconditioned but very simple, for example: no table cloths, just glass tops. Food very basic and oftentimes tasteless. Most bartenders were nice except for a couple who in no uncertain terms suggested that they should be tipped; one even raised his tip jar reminding me of my "obligation".

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Affordable luxury.

Many times to the Ancon peninsula, but first time at this resort. Lovely room and resort setting, very good food, excellent service, and certainly the best beach on the south shore. Only disappointment--no bicycles.

Hotel Rancho Luna: I love this place, but completely understand why many regular clients are saying they will not return!

There is a new manager. Very strange management style. Has decided that staff must work even longer hours so that he can cut down on numbers. Has fired some who cannot do so. The result is that service is not what it should be even though staff is trying its best. Odd new rules (no drinking in the comfy chairs next to the lobby bar ) but Cuban visitors — there are many on weekends — seem to be considered immune. Staff trying its best in spite of it all. Memories Trinidad Del Mar: Great vacation!

We have been to this resort many times and under the memories management found the food is better and the water pressure is great. The new paint job really brightens up the resort and rooms. As always the staff is wonderful. We will definitely return and recommend this place.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, colorful, freshly painted. Designed in such a way that it is close to the beach and to all facilities. Very friendly staff. Good food. Close to Trinidad, which is full of music especially at night.

Memories is a nice clean resort and well layed out, food is excellent, and have alcartes, rooms have been updated and have new curtains and bedding, beach is beautiful along walking Beach they had two pig roasts down by the beach two times.
