Carisol los Corales: Mixed feeling

The first room I got had bed bugs. It took 3 days before I figured out (I tough it was mosquito) and I was bite all over the place!. The 2nd room was perfect. I was disappointed by the beach, too short for the 2 hotels (los corales and Clarisol), and a lot of seaweed in the ocean, it was unpleasant to swim. The meals was not great but not terrible. Overall 2 out of 5.

Costa Morena: Still Love you,Costa Marena

Visit this resort sometimes,it is still my love,Especial the location,perfect valley/water/sky... Hotel is simple but match me, Staff is good , Food in not too much but good. Although some change is happen ,but it is still my dream place until now.

Brisas Sierra Mar: Awesome surroundings!!

Loved the service, the people and the views which were amazing!! Drinks were great if they didn’t run out of what U wanted which happens. What I ate had great taste but not a lot of variety. The Auquatic show was amazing and a couple of the evening shows were very good. The weather was amazing for January no days under 30 degrees. Would definitely recommend if U are Ok with 3 and half stars as the resort itself was fun and the views were worth the stay!!

Hotel Las Americas: Pool closed & no beer

Good location, clean room, I have stayed here many times before but things are getting bad now pool was closed, most nights no beer at the hotel or restaurant or the patio bar , disco closed because they didn’t have beer , I watched the staff sell the beer by cases to other restaurant owners for bribe every night , I know these things are normal for Cuba , but at least leave some for your customers at the hotel!

Carisol los Corales: We had a great holiday!

We love Cuba and the Cuban people. They are the most friendly and hospitable people. We went to the Santiago area and the weather was the best ever especially for January 29/30 degrees and sunny every day. They say this is normal for this time of year! Lovely beach although not really great for swimming. Snorkeling was the thing to do. Great for kids. A very relaxing holiday.

Brisas Sierra Mar: Stunning setting

I had a lovely time and I cant wait to go back. It's so laid back and relaxing. This resort is situated in the most beautiful setting overlooking mountains and ocean. The staff are all very friendly and always helpful. They are all great, from front to dining to cleaning and gardening to poolside and maintenance. Very personable. The entertainment team are fun too. We were there for New Years and the resort was filled to the brim. Entertainment for the night was varied with a beautiful acapella band , a great Cuban band and a fun colorful show at the end. The hotel itself is tired but it is clean. The quaint atmosphere and stunning setting makes up for that. If you are looking for fancy, this is not the place for you, I have been to a quite a few fancy resorts in other countries and I fell in love with this place. The food can be bland but it is good. There is plenty of food and I enjoyed it all. Dont compare it to Toronto restaurants, because if that's what you want, stay in Toronto. Again everyone was so friendly all around. The one and only thing that bothered me was the obvious presence of Cuban "call girls". I know it exists in every country, but here it is too much. It should not be allowed in the resort and the guys (and the odd lady) using it , are an embarrassment in my view, do that in private if you must. Taking day trips is fun , safe and easy. My absolute favorite is this little seaside restaurant called Vista Del Sol in Chivirico. Authentic, delicious, and just stunning. I cant wait to go back!!!!

Brisas Sierra Mar: Great atmosphere but terrible rooms

Theirs was my second time at Brisas. I must say that the hotel rooms have not been updated at all since my first trip. It has been six years. The courtains are still the same, the bed sheets old, stained and with holes. Furniture old and falling apart. I tried to spend the least amount of time in my room. The food was not that great. You had to be there early as they would always run out of food. However, what the hotel lacks in infrastructure it totally makes up with atmosphere and ente [... read more]rtainment. They are absolutely great! The beach bartender is super friendly, the animation team are funny, talented and very pleasant. They make you have a great time...Cuban style! The grounds, and I mean the gardens and the mountain views are stunning!!!! Make sure you go on the horse mountain tour with Alfredo.... it is worth every penny. I really want to keep on coming back to this resort but this would be contingent on the hotel doing some serious renovations to their rooms.

Villa Gaviota : Disappointing!

Far away from everything, nothing in room was working, no hot water , no water flow, impossible to get a taxi at night , this place should not be listed as hotel , swimming pool has been closed for many years and the picture on the website is false advertising and should be taken off!! I can’t believe that I paid over 800 for a week to stay here, breakfast was more than disappointing and believe me I’m not picky, just go somewhere else!!

Costa Morena: Good resort

Good value for the money. Staff very good. Very safe resort. Swimming pool well maintained and clean. Good resort if you like fishing and walking. Travel from Airport to the resort is not comfortable, because the roads are bad. As soon as you get to the resort, you forget all the pot holes on the road. Cheers

Brisas Los Galeones: friendly and relaxing resort.

I know the place and the people working in the Hotel, if I keep going there, I must like it. Sometimes there are few (very few) unfriendly guests but we are all different, after all for them maybe I am the undesirable one. Viva Fidel, Viva Cuba.

Brisas Sierra Mar: Same as usual

Hotel was the same Brisas Sierra Mar. Laid back and very relaxing An enjoyable stay for the money Staff always went out of there way for us during our stay. Resort is clean and pool is repainted. Weather is always great in this area of Cuba and nice and hot

Carisol los Corales: Great people, amazing Resort

Great staff. Very clean rooms. Nice beach area. Beautiful garden. Swimming pool nice and clean. Entertainment team works hard all day long. My favourite show... aqua show. Good food. I’ll be back soon.

Brisas Sierra Mar: Brisas Sierra Mar is a very relaxing and friendly resort. This is the place to go, if you need to recharge your energy.

the entire resort is kept clean and tidy, all staff is super friendly. Buffet has lots of variety. The landscape is absolutely stunning. Go for a bike ride and enjoy the scenery. Locals are super friendly, lots of animals like goats, pigs and sheep on the side of the road. A great place to visit and I will certainly go back next year :)

Carisol los Corales: Best what can you get for *** (3 stars)

This is 4 time that we visited this hotel. For 3 stars is the best that you can get. You can swim even when tides are high. Beach is combines sun and shade. Everything is close. Beach, eating area, very alive poll with music and activities. People are profesionall and nice. Only thing that is missing is one day tour by bus to Santiago de Cuba, and visti few landmarks for 6-8 hours.

This is my 4th time here. The entertainment was much better than when I went in March. No complaints for this hotel. Had a great time. As long as there’s sunshine, booze, and ice cubes how could you complain?????

Good 3 star hotel on the south side of Cuba . Scenery is fantastic many returning guests food is average Cuba dark sand beach 2 a la carte restaurants scooter and car rental on site several bars and nightly entertainement panio bar hotel shows signs of aging employees are fantastic

Costa Morena: Good Resort

Good value for money. Staff very polite and helpful. Food has improved a lot. Rooms very clean. Bathroom very clean and there is always hot water. Nightly entertainment good. We would go again. CHEERS

Brisas Los Galeones: hidden gem

Much cleaner and comfortable then average Cuban resort,very quite with friendly stuff probably most scenic view around then any other resort in Cuba Beautiful beach, very nice guests, may be too quite for some vacationers

Resort never fails to impress with its exceptional warm staff that go above and beyond to welcome you..Well maintained grounds with a huge fabulous pool.The prime location is perfect for mountain hikes.oceanside biking or just strolling on the large expanse of beach offering great snorkeling.

beautiful place to go can,t wait to return the staff was out of this world waiting on you at every turn they were like family the food was fantastic the view is beautiful over looking the ocean and mountains it was a dream vacation thank you to the staff for making our holiday the best
