One of the best resorts in Punta Cana!!!

We had one of the best vacations in Punta Cana. Our four vacations there were in Luxury Principe Bahia Esmeralda, but this time we decided to switch to Majestic Mirage and conclusion is: next time we will go back to Bahia Esmeralda or Ambar. So great time that we had there nothing will replace. Service, food, restaurants, housekeeping, entertainment, you name more, everything was just outstanding. And speaking about agency, nothing can do better than Tripcentral.

Great resort!

Resort was very clean. Awesome beach and beautiful water to swim in. Lots of choices for restaurants and all are very good. Entertainment in the Esmeralda was a little weak but to be fair we didn’t go to the other areas where entertainment was available. I will definitely go again to the Esmeralda.

Amazing Resort

Everything is absolutely beautiful the pool the beach really well maintained the hotel is really nice clean the view from hotel balcony is absolutely breathtaking The dining is awesome beautifully set tables

A Resort with Something for Everyone!

This was the first time my husband and I have taken a vacation with our adult children (20's) and our youngest child (11) - Altogether - . We will usually go with one or the other. We had concerns that there would be nothing for the 20 somethings and tons for the 11yr old - or vise versa. Worrying was a waste of good time - because there was plenty for both. The beach was beautiful borderline perfect. The food was delicious and the staff couldn't help you enough. Plus your 25 mins from the airport. Tip: try the pillow menu - the back pillow works!

Recomanded destination!

This resort is great. No negative comments to think of . Great food. Great rooms. Butler service included. Access to all a la carte restaurant through an APP. I would recomand this resort to anyone. Couples or family. SCUBA Diving excursion was a great experience and of good value

Very clean and organized

Very clean and good service. Awesome staff.very nice 6 restaurant s to choose from. Got unlimited lobster one day. Very nice entertainment Every night .more entertainment after 10.30 at Punta cana.only 5 minutes ride.ride available every 5 minutes.

Beautiful resort

I stay at Luxury Bahia Prinicipe Esmerdale resort in Punta Cana.. Food is good ,clean and amazing taste with nice service by its employee at the resort restaurant. Room are clean and well kept. I will give A plus.

Excellent Resort!

My sister, three teenaged kids and I spent a week at the Bahia Principe Esmeralda this August. The resort, including the other Bahia Prinicipecresirts attaches, was really nice. The beach is beautiful, and you can walk forever. There are plenty of palapas for shade. Unfortunately, there was a bit of algae in the sea, especially on our first day, but it didn’t stop any of us from enjoying the beautiful, warm, turquoise water. We didn’t use the pool much, but it was large, clean an [... read more]d lively. There is also a quieter pool for those who don’t want to be part of the activities. The rooms are large and well-equipped, though they could be a little cleaner. A screen door would be useful so that we could allow fresh air into the room. Food was plentiful and there was always something we could each enjoy at every meal. The adults in the group loved going to the coffee shop at the neighbouring Ámbar, which is a beautiful, newly renovated adults-only resort. Service was always excellent.

Beautiful resort for the family

Family of 3, one child. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, right on top of the beach. Drinks are strong and food at the A la Carte was incredible, buffet was as expected. Getting a lounge chair at the pool is next to impossible if you sleep in past 7 am. Loads of kids (so if only adults going, choose another resort). Overall a great experience.

Beach front resort

Beautiful ground and good transportation between resorts and beach. Tasteful a-la-cart dinner and very good services at buffet. More activities would be a plus, specially for the kids. Nice beach location and services.

Amazing resort

we stayed at Bahia Principe Esmeralda for 2 weeks in July. It is a very beautiful hotel, very clean, amazing food and very close to beach! I would highly recommend this hotel! The only con would be the seaweed in the sea, however staff cleans it regularly.

Resort was very beautiful and clean.

Dinning is good as well. I believe we choose wrong month for vacation as it was very hot there. Only 1 thing I felt missing is, Resort should have at least 1 indoor pool because you really can't enjoy pool service. They close pool at 7 PM and that is the time when sun goes down. For adults, it shouldn't close at all so that one can enjoy. The resort is very clean as our room was cleaned twice a day. Also, staff is very nice and polite. Would love to visit again this year.

Amazing Resort

The luxury grand Bahia principe Esmeralda is an amazing resort. This was my second time staying at this resort and I loved everything about it. The food, people and rooms were great! I loved how you can go to the other resorts on the property and they have trolleys to take you around. I would reccomend this resort for families or couples.

Awesome!

Could not be happier! The whole experience was exceptional! It was only a couple hundred dollars more expensive than Cuba. But would easily pay $1000 more knowing now just how much better Grand Bahia Principe is.

Amazing Resort

This hotel is great for families. I usually stay at the Ambar which is an adults only and is generally my favorite. Due to unavailability I went back to the Esmeralda and was not disappointed at all!. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms are great and plenty of hot water!! The water is generally gorgeous but some days have more seaweed than others but this can happen no matter what hotel you’re at. However, the guys along the beach do a great job of cleaning up as much as they can. The Peublo Principe allows you to have the best of both worlds, having this common area for all sections, gives you the oppportunity to continue your evening with a night of either gambling at the casino, watching a game at the sports bar or dance the night away at the disco. I highly recommend the Bahia chain, they make you feel like the quality of your vacation is their priority!

Disappointed

This was our second visit at this resort. We experienced two problems: 1. A/C was very noisy. We complained but they didn't fix it. 2. The Italian A-la-carte restaurant was horrible. We went there at 7:45, ordered food at 8pm and food came at 10pm. When we asked about it, they all stopped speaking English! Never again!

Loved it’

Grounds are immaculate, hotel is clean and well kept, all areas a joy! Entertainment was top notch and food was glorious! Best vacation ever. Not to forget amazing staff everywhere and treat you as family, can’t wait to bring our family back with us next time, which hopefully it very soon, love Bahia principle!

Amazing vacation @ Esmeralda!

We had a fabulous time at the Esmeralda! Everything was so convenient - the beach, the buffet and restaurants! The staff was so accommodating and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the front desk was fast and courteous and concerned if we were hungry and quick to point us in the direction of the buffet as it was getting ready to close for the evening! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Great resort

We stayed at the Esmeralda. Rooms were clean. Room was close to the beach, buffet, pools, and lobby. Staff was great. Very friendly. Buffet, and a la cartes were really good. Hotel was nice and clean.

Beautiful resort

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great. There are several hotels within close vicinity of each other and accessible based on band privileges. The beaches were beautiful and weather great. The food was disappointing in the buffet. Choices were limited and repeated every day. Although there were cultural themes, the options remained limited. For gluten free folks and those with dietary restrictions, there were very limited options. Dishes were not properly labelled or mislabelled and servi [... read more]ng spoons used across dishes. The hotel provided letter to take to the restaurant to advise of dietary restrictions but the staff were not properly trained on what this meant .
