Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: St Lucia-Coconut Bay Resort
Great hotel within 5 minutesof the airport but very little noise as flights were late in the day and few in number. The resort is aging but the faciliites and rooms were in very good condition. Access to pools and grounds was great. Not crowded at all even though they said they were fully booked.
The staff were very friendly and helpul.Queenie our housekeeper left very inspirational notes each morning and the staff at the bars and restaurants were great.

Coconut Bay is a family friendly resort with excellent food choices, incredibly friendly and attentive staff, a wide variety of entertainment options, well maintained grounds and gardens and a Waterpark right on site. The rooms may be a little dated but are clean and in good repair and with so much to do, we didn't spend a lot of time sitting in our room. Terrific vacation!!

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort & so relaxing!
Pros: 1. Food was amazing. Water and food didn’t make us sick. 2. Beautiful scenery/greenery 3. Perfect resort for honeymoon/wedding as it’s not too loud during evening/night unless your right beside the pavilion, which is where the party is
4. Three pools is great
5. Staff was so friendly
Cons: 1. Beach is rough (was red flag half the week) 2. Hour long drive from the airport makes you nauseous if you suffer motion sickness 3. Beach is open to public so occasionally you’ll get the od[... read more]d local trying to sell you stuff or private vendor/guide that isn’t organized by Sandals
Overall, my Wife and I enjoyed the resort tremendously. We didn’t want to leave after our week was up as it was our elopement/honeymoon. The other 2 resorts on the island have their own pros and cons, but we would definitely return to this resort if we went back to Saint Lucia.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort
I was at the resort 6 yrs ago and had a wonderful restful vacation.
I thought I would try it again also with the diamond club as last time. The butlers were incredible but some of the amenities had changed. The food was good and plentiful.
Dorato, Hunter and Zen were the best, but Calypso was pretty good too, but I would definitely skip the Tex Mex!
The service in all the restaurants was excellent and cheerful.
Entertainment was well done and lots of fun.
Royalton is the way I travel.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort
This hotel grounds are clean and well kept with greenery nicely positioned through out. The public areas are convenient located for easy access. The rooms are large with ample living space. Our room was very clean, and we had daily room upkeep. The buffet dinning was more than adequately stock with plenty of different food selections. The a la carte restaurants were easy to make reservation with very tasty well made dinner options. The staff, wow, I have no words to describe the friendly caring[... read more] service level we received. From housekeeping Beverly was so sweet and attentive, she kept our room spotless. The butler service Benjamin and Merkel were very patient and always willing to help and last but not lease Deana (not sure of the correct spelling) in the buffet dinning room was awesome she went above and beyond to look after us. She made sure we were happy with our meals and drinks selections. The evening shows and night life were entertaining and interactive as well!

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Very Relaxing
This hotel did not disappoint. Travelled October 13th - 20th, 2023. The hotel was well laid out and easy to navigate. We did Diamond Club, which I would highly recommend. Our butlers Marissa and Shadrach went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. The food was very good. We always found something on every menu and even tried a few new foods.
The island is hot! Make sure you reapply your sunscreen. We spent most of our time in the pool and went in the ocean a few times. B[... read more]oth locations were great.
We would recommend a private transfer as the journey is just under 2 hours from the airport. We used Mark at Rising Sun Taxi. He was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He made the ride interesting and informative.
We did get the Presidential Ocean View Suite. It was huge. There were lots of areas to sit and relax.

The Landings: Dream-Come-True!
The Landings was a dream-come-true! We just came back from a week there with our three kids (8, 11, and 14). Our 2-bedroom suite was unbelievable with everything you could possibly need, including 3 bathrooms, fully functional kitchen, living room, large table, in-room washer and dryer. All appliances and products were top-brands. The rooms were cleaned to perfection each day and we never had to ask for anything, because it was already done! We had 2 balconies, one looking out to the other build[... read more]ings and the other looking out over the marina, which was so beautiful and interesting to see the boats. Each building had an elevator and stairs. The resort is gorgeous with all amenities. My kids especially loved the main pool. We used the kids club twice and the worker there was so kind! The beach is beautiful with lots of chairs and umbrellas. The view from the beach was one of the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen! The resort layout can be a bit tricky, but there are plenty of workers in carts/buggies to drive you back and forth if you need to visit another part of the resort that would otherwise be a long walk. Most of the places we visited were within 2 minutes of walking, though. The service was always attentive and friendly. The resort is quite quiet and has a relaxing vibe, which suited us well. There was entertainment one evening only, but this was fine for our family. We had a buffet breakfast every morning with lots of choices, including vegetarian and gluten-free. Lunch was at the Callaloo and Dinners at the Palms or Callaloo. There were vegetarian and gluten-free options, but I would have preferred more menu choices, as we ate there so frequently. I think this was due to the low capacity during the quiet season. The service was amazing and the meal presentation was beautiful. My kids loved the hot or cold towels given to freshen up before each meal. We did one excursion with a private catamaran sunset cruise, which the concierge booked. It exceeded our expectations! We would highly recommend the Landings and would not hesitate to go back to the again!!

Zoetry Marigot Bay Saint Lucia: Great food and Service
We were looking for some serious quiet time. We got it! The room was great for us, as we requested to be close to the ground with all of the stairs we knew about. They totally accommodated us.
The check in was a bit of a process and there were only 2 couples, but we made it to our room amd were super happy with it.
It was very hot when we went mid September which we also knew about. The pool was very warm so the only place to go to get relief was our room, which we ordered room service[... read more] 4 times because it was so hot out. Room service was amazing!
The resort itself could use some TLC. It is dated, but super clean and comfortable. The 1461 and Hurrican Hole were our breakfast and dinner go-to's. We always ate at the pool for lunch. Loved the sushi and fish and chips!! Also the bakery....wow. my pants still don't fit.
On a side note, there is nowhere to walk around and explore, no shops or anything like that so be prepared for some R and R. Enjoy!

Stolen Time Saint Lucia: We'll Be Back!
Stolen Time is a wonderful resort. It features many positives. It's small and intimate; it's quiet and relaxing; the food is excellent (both buffet and a la carte); the staff are friendly and helpful; the beach and water are incredible. The staff were very much on the ball. We desired for nothing! There was always a drink available, a clean towel ready...and the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the resort was top notch! If this sounds appealing, then Stolen Time may just be the place for you!

ROOM
My fiance and I stayed in a Premium Beachfront room. It had a traditional Caribbean look and feel (note; this resort is not modern...keep that in mind if it's important to you). It was sizeable with a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. Feather or memory foam pillows are available (just ask the concierge). Next time we want to try the poolside suites...but really, given the size of the resort you cannot go wrong with any of the rooms.
FOOD
The food was great with a nice variety available. Even though there are only three restaurants on the resort, the menu is ever changing. You will not get bored. I also appreciated that common food allergens were clearly stated. There was nothing that I wished they had. They had it all.
ACTIVITIES
There are a ton of activities available, but never forced upon you. You can really do as much or as little as you want. It seemed that most people were content to just sit on the beautiful beach (us included). We did go for a spa treatment that was wonderful. Otherwise we just kinda hung out!
STORM
We were on the resort as Tropical Storm Bret made landfall. I cannot say enough about the staff's preparedness and calm in literally weathering the storm. I did not question for one second that they had everything under control. I also appreciated that they had additional indoor activities ready to go for when we were no longer able to lounge on the beach. It was a LOOOONG day and night for the staff that stayed on the resort. They worked extremely hard and I am grateful for their efforts.
THE ONLY THING....
...potentially negative is that it is a long drive (90 minutes) from the airport on extremely narrow and windy roads. It's a nauseating drive for anyone with a hint of motion sickness. On the positive side, you do get to see a lot of the beautiful countryside on the drive!
OVERALL
I plan on coming back. It's truly a magical place.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Great Resort
My husband and I absolutely loved the resort; the staff, the amenities, the restaurant, our room all were great!!!
We were in the Diamond club and love the benefits however didn't really use the services of the butler and they were not that available.
The entertainment and shows do need to be upgraded in order to grab the guest attention. This resort does cater to an older crowd but there still should be entertainment for the guests.

The Soco House: Good potential, but fell short
The lobby was beautiful, white, and sparkling; the room was nice and clean, but lacking in plugin outlets (especially by the mirror where you would blow dry your hair), light in the hallway (you could barely see the clothes in the closet). The shower drain was higher than the rest of the shower floor, so after each shower there would be a pile of water left on the edges of the shower and it would leak under the tiles and come up in the middle of the bathroom. The dining room was nice and clean, [... read more]but the waiting times for the food to come out were looong. The food however was delicious, the a-la-cart part was the problem. The hotel had a 3:30 to 4:30 coffee and tea time. I think coffee or tea should always be available in the lobby or at the bar, not just between certain times.
There is a 5-minute walk to the beach. The beach attendant will bring umbrellas to the chairs, but there were occasions when umbrellas weren’t available for everybody. The beach had no showers or at least some way of washing the sand off your feet when you leave the beach, but neither did the hotel. So, sand got dragged into the lobby because of that.
The whole atmosphere was a little underwhelming. It’s a hotel, not a resort, so there are not too many places to walk or get entertainment, other than drinks at the hotel’s pool bar, but not much else, unless you go to another restaurant in the neighbourhood, but even those didn’t seem too “activeâ€.
The day before our last day there, we got an unexpected "visitor" from the hotel, a Mrs Peters I think her name was, who knocked on the door and then opened it with her own key. We could have been naked or not ready for visitors, but she walked in on us saying that she needs to do inventory for the end of the month. We were leaving the next day, 2 days before the end of the month. She couldn’t wait until then. She left without doing the inventory. I still don’t know what that was about.
All in all, we had a relaxing vacation, the staff was friendly and welcoming, but there’s always space for improvement with the hotel.

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Good Week in Saint Lucia
Group of four stayed at the Hideaway Royalton at the end of April. Overall, the resort is very nice and I have no complaints. Is there room for improvement? Yes….but generally speaking, this was a good holiday. We chose this resort fairly last minute, so not many options were available. Mostly we wanted to avoid the Sargassum problems in the DR and Mexico so we needed an island that was not being as affected by it.
The check in experience at the Hideaway Lobby gives a terrible first impre[... read more]ssion. Because the resort is two hours from the airport, you will arrive tired and hungry. The employees in the underwhelming Hideaway lobby make a bad situation even worse. They were abrupt, snarky and not at their best, which makes their guests not at their best either. There were snacks that looked like they had been sitting out all day and the welcome drink was a watered down luke-warm cocktail. They need to improve this area of the resort. Surely there is an area in the main lobby (which is a much more attractive area) to give hideaway guests a better welcome experience. I have stayed in the “club/exclusive†areas of other resorts and the check in experience is always special. I will say that the key card on your resort bracelet is a handy thing….much better than a card.
After finding our room all on our own (correct—- no one offered to show us to our room) we were relieved to see a nice clean room with a beautiful ocean view. Things were looking up. Our room was kept immaculate for the rest of our trip. Housekeeping knows what they are doing.
The restaurants and bars are all very good. We ate at all the restaurants, the buffet, the food truck and the sports bar. Food was good everywhere. I preferred Dorado for breakfast over the buffet. Service at all the restaurants was also very good. My travelling companions got a lot of bug bites sitting on the patios for dinner, but the bugs didn’t bother me. Just lucky I guess as they were really bitten up and bug spray didn’t seem to help. You do not need reservations at restaurants except for the Teppanaki. For all other restaurants, you check in and they give you a buzzer which will go off when your table is ready. If you don’t want to wait for a table, be sure to go at 6:30 or earlier. None of us became I’ll or had tummy trouble as others have been complaining about this month. We also did not speak to any other guests who were ill. Obviously getting sick can happen to anyone, anywhere. Cleanliness and hygiene at this resort is top notch and their food practices were also good from all we saw.
The beach was a bit of a disappointment for me, but I am a beach girl so my expectations are pretty high. This beach is very small, does not have a nice sand bottom after the first ten feet, and the loungers are just jam packed together side by side. I only spent one day there, but I did go down to swim/float in the sea everyday. I just didn’t sit there.
The pools were fantastic. They all have beautiful views and lots of chairs. I participated in aqua aerobics and hung out at the Hideaway Pool most days. The drinks at all the bars were well made and there are pool servers who will bring you drinks if you don’t want to get up. I am not a big frozen cocktail person so I mostly stuck to vodka, cranberry, soda or Rum and Diet Coke. I was very happy that the pools were so nice since the beach was not the greatest.
I was unable to stay awake for all the shows, but I can say they are all pretty typical of resort shows. The theatre is very short on chairs though—- more seating is required. I headed off to bed early most nights. There is no turn down service which is something an adults only experience needs to compete with other adults only resorts like Secrets and Excellence. There is also no liquor or snacks in your room, which again is something other “club†level areas have at other resorts. Not a big deal this time, but the Royalton should really add these services to the Adults Only side if they want to compete. There were very few kids at the resort because of the time of year, but I would never pay extra for the Hideaway Adults Only section if it was Christmas or March Break… it wouldn’t be worth it as kids can go everywhere on the resort except for the Hideaway pool and Dorado.
We did take a private tour from one of the beach tour guys that was great. I had been to the island previously and didn’t want the mud baths offered on all the other tours, so the private tour was better for us as we were able to choose our own activities. I spoke to many who loved all the excursions so you can not go wrong with any of them.
Coffee shop is great for your morning coffee or a mid day snack.
Check out was as bad as check in, sadly. They make you go to the Hideaway “lobby†to check out but then you have to head all the way up to the main lobby to grab your transfer! So ridiculous. If you are going to charge extra for the Hideaway Adult only experience, don’t ruin it by herding you together with families and kids on a two hour van ride.
Airport check in was a breeze.
So, overall the resort is nice. We had a good time and service was as expected except for the areas I mentioned earlier. Would I return to this resort? I would not, but only because I am still searching for that perfect beach and there are so many other islands to see.

Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Needs some work
Room and staff were great.
Food sucked. Restaurants were very disappointing.
Resort was not near capacity which was even more disappointing.
Pool bar on Adult side had nothing but sad ‘80’s music.
Buffet was extremely disappointing.
