Memories Jibacoa: Memories
Lovely hotel but lots of stairs for people with mobility issues Very friendly and courteous staff Entertainment a bit repetitive but very good Was surprised to see cats and dogs on premises but they were not intrusive or feral - quite cute actually
Starfish Cuatro Palmas: Great small resort
Everything was good and much better than expected Lots of food and drinks ? Excellent entertainment close to Beatles bar and calle 62 Friendly staff always there to help out bitch clean and well taken care of lots of chairs good for long walks on the beach
Melia Varadero: Very good resort!
My wife and I stayed at Meliá Varadero and had a very pleasant experience overall. The resort is clean, the rooms are well maintained, and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. When we requested a king-size bed, they couldn’t do it the first night but moved us to a renovated room the next day as promised. The food was fair and good for Cuba, with a consistent variety including chicken, beef, fish, and pork. We did not experience any major food shortages, despite some reviews sug [... read more]

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Some disappointment after a Better visit 2025
Weather was cooler not controllable-- -West jet no seat selection at 24 hours to departure ,even tho it stated in West jet details plus they sent special email to check in and seat select--- this needs to be very clear, and updated . They just want to put you anywhere - trip central -Wendy H was her usual helpful travel advisor. And warned us of potential for issues - no hot water in our rooms except for warm x 20min once And weather wS chilly 15 to 23degrees -al la carts where not ver [... read more]
Playa Costa Verde: Cuban home
Playa Costa Verde is some what of an older Resort, but well maintained according to Cuban standards. The employees at PCV make you feel right at home and are always willing to help make your stay here the best.
Sanctuary Cayo Largo: Nice small resort
The cabins are really cool made to look like a cottage from the ultra suede couch, the white wood table and chairs to the back door had a glass door knob and skeleton key. The food was good by Cuban standards basically the same every day with a few new add ones occasionally. Never ran out of anything though. We were drinking Canadian beer Moose head. The week we were there Jan 27-Feb 3 we got bad weather it was cold ,windy and one day it rained all day so it was nice to have a nice big cabin to s [... read more]
Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Cayo coco cuba
I would not recommend Cayo coco Cuba. Stay home. I feel they should close this resort. We did not have any hot water to shower all week also 2 days only air came out of tap.weather was windy and cold so no beach days when weather is like that. There was human sewage on the lawns. Smelled awful. Birds pooping on walls and tables where you go to eat at smogisboard. There also shortage of clean beach towels and toilet paper.and absolutely no face cloths we paid for premium superior deluxe rooms and [... read more]
Memories Cayo Largo: Loved Cayo Largo
Cayo Largo is a Beautiful small Island! We stayed at Memories Cayo Largo, the rooms are very outdated and falling apart but we didn’t care to much about the room, you just sleep and shower there. Apparently the Hotel is updating the rooms this Summer. The food was great, there’s a meat station that had, chicken, pork or ham, a pasta/pizza station and a fish station. They also had salads,Turkey 3 nights and Lobster or Filet Mignon that you paid $30 USD for. We loved the Sunset Cruise, we stop [... read more]
Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Great family resort

Hotel Villa Cuba: Pleasantly surprised!
We travelled here, January 27 to February 3. Check-in was a slow process, but nothing out of the ordinary everyone at the front desk was very pleasant. We were booked in a super saver room, but we were offered an ocean view in the main hotel part for $10 US a night, which we gratefully accepted the room itself was gorgeous! The view and the cleanliness was impressive. At first, I thought our patio door did not lock, turns out it was user error. Unfortunately, the week of our stay it was very col [... read more]
Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Great resort
This was an amazing resort, grounds were clean rooms were clean all amenities were well kept and clean. We were able to visit other resorts as well and enjoy their amenities but to be honest ours was probably the best in terms of amenities. The food was delicious the 24-hour snack bar with room service was a good add-on I would highly recommend this to anyone who would be willing to take the 90-minute bus ride from the airport to this hotel.

Melia Cayo Coco: Amazing Resort
Loved the smaller size, not a lot of walking to get to places. Adult only. Wide, long beach, white sand. Great for walks. Oceanview room. Great local entertainment. No shortages of food or drink. Great red wine and food A la cart restaurants. The best customer sercive!
Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort: Nice resort!
The hotel was a quick ride from the airport. It is the first stop which was great. The hotel itself was well situated. There were gardens through the walkways and everything was in the same building. Our room was nice and modern. Provided nice plush bathrobes and an umbrella. The bathroom was large with a great walk in shower. Our ocean view was absolutely perfect! There was never much of a wait for any type of drink/coffee which was nice. The staff were friendly. The front staff struggled to co [... read more]
Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Great resort!
Great resort and very friendly staff. Traveled with two kids ages 1 &3 and they had a blast! Best beach i have ever seen! Very minimal rocks, white sand, clear water with lots of huts and chairs. Kid pool has a walk in pool which was great for the 1 year old. Biggest problem was buffet. Food was good and they always had different options. Issue was with the hot tables. It would be a 30-45 minute wait for the pasta station and other stations which is an issue when you have two kids under 3 [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Holguin: Terrible vacation
The travel agent did not warn us how bad things were in Cuba. She said it was a great resort and in fact it was the absolute worst. Food is expected to not be great but it was the worst ever I’ve had in Cuba. The weather yes beyond our control but was terrible. Days to get beach towels then accused of stealing washroom towels, minor power outages, water being shut off, having to shower with hair towels. As well as the entertainment being so not up to par. Traveling there with a family of two and [... read more]
Playa Vista Azul: Playa Vista Azul. Amazing
Stayed one week at Playa Vista Azul and loved the Resort. First 2 nights we were in a Bungalow. We had no air conditioning and ceiling fan was making a loud noise. The concierge at the premium pool area were awesome. Diana, Adrian, and several others. They took care of moving us and always ask if we needed anything, wanted an a la carte booked for the evening, asking if we were happy! We were moved to 1233 in the Premium Building. The new room was more modern, hot water, air conditioning workin [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Holguin: Terrible resort.
We needed a bottle of water to make fluids, because my daughter had a fever, and we had to fight to get it. Complete disregard. I have photos of the liters of water left in the rooms; they are the liters that the hotel fills up, and they were dirty and rusty.
